No mention of contract expiry date on bill?

I realise that when you enter into a new contract with BT you receive written details of start date, services etc.
When logging in to My BT and viewing current balance, phone, broadband etc, I cannot see any reference to the contract period.
Viewing my latest bill lists various services and charges along with any discounts etc. but again I can't see any reference to contract length or expiry date.
Perhaps I'm missing a link somewhere? Woud appreciate advice.
I know that I could always dig out the original contract confirmation letter but it's normally buried at the bottom of a drawer somewhere. I  assume BT has to send you a letter of confirmation for legal reasons but I thought the idea was to go paper free!
Unless I AM missing something I fail to see why the contracted period is not clearly shown on my bill.

  • Update Contract End Date on Billing plan

    Help would be appreciated.
We use milestone billings with fixed values based on date setbacks from the contract end date.  For example, 6 months prior to contract end or 12 months prior to contract end.  Once the 1st billing in the plan is processed and the invoice created, the contract end date on the item>Billing plan is no longer be updated.   Occasionally, the contract end date changes based on the build schedule and the remaining billing due dates in the plan need to be recalculated.
We have the config set to adjust to the milestone and this works great until the 1st billing is processed then we can no longer update the milestone date.
Thanks in advance for any help.

in appt_type you have to give the name of the date you want to change.

  • How  to Generate the Dates of Billing Plan Contract

    Dear experts,
    Need your advice on this.
I have a requirement to create a program to update the Billing Plan of contract. It will run in background and update the end date (billing plan), then generate the dates ( Settlement Date for Deadline, Billing date for billing index and printout, etc ..).
I have managed to change to end date using 'BILLING_SCHEDULE_READ' and 'BILLING_SCHEDULE_SAVE', but I couldn't generate the dates. I've searched sdn and still, no luck. I've tried 'SD_SALES_BILLINGPLAN_CHANGE' with no result. I've also found 'RV_SALES_DOCUMENT_UPDATE', but I dunno how to fill-in all the parameters.
Please help .. I have run out of ideas ...

  • Shorter contract date, periodic billing plan reduced, not reflected in ECC

    Hi,
We get quite a lot similar problems with service contracts with billing plan.
Because of new type of contracts (other material number) being sold to our customers, the old contract will change end date, let's say from 31.12.2012 to 31.05.2011. Next the line item will be put to completed.
The periodic monthly billing plan in CRM now only show billing dates as to 01.05.2011 which is correct.
However on the ECC side, the created contract still show the future lines of the billing plan with status open.
As a result they still appear in the billing due lists.
The problem does not seem to be situated in the middleware.
I changed the contract end date to 31.12.2013 (so even further in the future than in the initial status) and in ECC I see additional lines created for billing.
Now if I bring back the contract end date to 31.05.2011 the extra lines in ECC are gone (period 01.01.2013 - 31.12.2013), but all lines for period 01.06.2011 - 31.12.2012 stay in overall processing status "Open" because they are "Not invoiced".
Anyone came accross the same issue and knows how to solve it?
    Best regards,
    Geert

Reason was incorrect processing sequence in changing contract dates

Well the above requirement is possible by development, my abapers have confirmed to me the same, i want to see if SAP has any customization already available.

  • End of contract questions (Data plan and upgrade eligibility)

    Hi All,
I found another thread also titled "End of contract questions" and it was very helpful but I want to make sure I'm not mistaken in any way.  Here's my scenario:
    2 Line Plan
    ME (primary): 2-year contract, unlimited Data (10/15/10 - 10/15/12)
    WIFE: 1-year contract, unlimited data (10/15/10 - 10/15/11)
I signed her up for a 1-year contract on the advice of the Verizon rep that was helping us.  It ended up netting an additional cost of $70-100 (I forget exactly) but it was worth it in my opinion because I knew that one of us would be able to get a new phone in 1 year as opposed to 2.
So here are the specific questions:
    1.  Verizon has done away with 1-year contracts.  This means that whenever my wife goes in to renew her contract (and get a new device), she will need to sign a 2 year contract, correct?  All further questions will be posed based on a "yes" answer to this one.
    2.  Assuming she has to sign a 2-year contract, will she still be able to retain her unlimited data plan?
    3.  Assuming she signs up for a 2-year contract, will she still be able to get "loyalty" pricing or whatever they're calling it now (used to be "new every 2")?  Is she even eligible for anything since she's not the primary on the line?
    4.  In the other thread titled "End of contract questions..." it was mentioned that "The loyalty discount expires 6 months after it becomes available -- so 2 months after your contract ends".  Is this correct?
    5.  Currently, if I go to MyVerizon and hover over the "?" next to my number and "Eligible for a discount" it says:  "You are eligible to upgrade with discounted pricing. If you upgrade on or after 6/15/12 you are eligible to receive an additional loyalty discount. "  I intend to wait for my line as it still has a year on the contract however when I do the same for my wife's line it says:  You are eligible to upgrade with discounted pricing."  Does it not mention the Loyalty discount because it's not applicable to a secondary line?  Or perhaps because it's implied since she's technically out of her contract period?
I'm trying to make heads or tails of this.  At the time, it sounded like a great idea (her on a 1-year, me/primary on a 2-year).  I'm hoping it will work out for us so that every year, one of us will be eligible for a new line.  I'm only concerned with the unlimited data aspect being that she's going to be going from a 1-year to a 2-year and also the actual loyalty/discount aspect.
Thanks in advance for anyone who helps!!

Not eligible because she is 1)not the primary line and 2)1yr contracts weren't eligible in the first place.

  • Exchange rate date in billing documents

    Hello,
we have a process in which from one contract we create invoices, credit memos, ... without creating any delivery.
Some contracts were created on 2004, and when we create the invoice/credit memo, ... the exchange rate at item level is taken from contract's date and not billing date (i am not too sure why at header level it takes it from billing date).
In copy control you can set it at item level with VTFA, for example combination WV to G2. Then Click on items >>> select item >>> details >>> PricingExchRate type
    There are various options
A - Copy from sales order
    B - Xchange rate = accounting rate
C - Exchange rate determination according to billing date
D - Exchange rate determination according to Pricing date
E - Exchange rate determination according to current date
F - Exchange rate determination according to service rendered date
I can select C and then it works.
The question is how to restrict this by company code, as a change here will afect all countries. Maybe we can use the copying control in VOFM?
    Thanks and regards,
    Fernando

I'm not aware of any other solution than creating a new dcument flow and corresponding item category or maybe determine a specific item category through a user exit. But, considering my experience as consultant facing this kind of problems a lot, i would suggest to make an inquiry amongst the other company codes to check if them as well would rather have this kind of exchange rate determination. Most of the times is worth it.... People don't want to bother or risk any change, and you end up with systems unecessarily mixed and complicated..

  • Need to change CONTRACT End date using Bapi BAPI_CUSTOMERCONTRACT_CHANGE

    Hi,
I need to change date of a contract and for the same I am using Bapi "BAPI_CUSTOMERCONTRACT_CHANGE".
I am passing the following Parameters to the BAPI.
SALESDOCUMENT  -- Have passed the Contract Number in this.
CONTRACT_HEADER_IN -- Have passed the values of the following fields ::
    COLLECT_NO -- Sales Document number
    Sales_Org  -- Sales Organization
    Distribution Channes -- Dist. Channel
    Division -- Division
CT_VALID_T -- New date which I want as the contract end date.
CONTRACT_HEADER_INX -- Following values have been paased in this Structure.
    UPDATEFLAG -- 'U'.
    CT_VALID_T -- 'X'.
Now when I run the BAPI with these inputs I get the output as ' Field 'GUEEN' cannot be copied, because it is not ready for input'.This is a information message. But the changes are not reflected in the contract. I have done the commit work after BAPI.
When I changes the value for CT_VALID_T flag from 'X' to 'U' the message mentioned above does not come but the end result is same and changes are not reflected in the contract.
I would be really helpful to you if get any kind of helf to know ehy the output is not coming.
Thanks a Lot for your kind help!!!!
    Regards,
    Lalit Kabra

    Hi Lalit,
The value for CT_VALID_T flag has to be 'X' in the CONTRACT_HEADER_INX structure.
In this case, you receive an informative message "Field 'GUEEN' cannot be copied, because it is not ready for input'"
That is the problem. You cannot change this field because your functional team has this field as "not ready for input" in change mode.
Can you change this field in transaction VA42? If you can't modify it in dialog, you can't modify it with BAPI.

  • ATTN: Customer Service - Question Concerning My Contract Expiration Date

    Hi,
My phone broke last month, a little over a month before I thought that my contract was due to expire.  The port that charges the phone stopped working.  I was led to believe that my contract would be expiring with Verizon today, so I paid my bill last month and waited.  I thought I would be able to cancel my service today, pay my final bill this month and my contract would be fulfilled, at which point I planned to amicably part ways with Verizon and switch to a company that can better suit my needs. When I just accessed my account, I notice that it says that I am due for an upgrade today, but that my contract doesn't expire until October.  Why is that?  Please help me figure out what is going on and what I need to do to close out my plan without accruing extraneous charges.
I first tried to contact your customer service via the "Chat Now" function, but all of you agents have been busy for over 2 hours now.   It is very important to me that I get this sorted out today so that I do not roll over into another month of service that I don't want and can't use.
Thank you in advance for you assistance.  I really appreciate it!

I'm not customer service, just another customer like you, but I hope I can help.  Your upgrade eligibility and contract end date are not the same (though that is changing).  You can upgrade at the 20 month point in your 24 month contract, which is why you can UPGRADE today, but your contract doesn't end till October.
If you are planning to leave Verizon, you  can do so in October with no ETF; today you will pay an ETF based on 20 months of completed service, roughly $80 for a basic phone or $160 for a smartphone.
Your wisest course would be to see if a friend has an old Verizon phone that you could borrow and activate until your contract is up.

  • Promotional sales for sooner expiry date products

    Dear SAP gurus,
    I have following situation:
My customer sells batch manged products and batches are based on expiry date. Batch is detemined at delivery creation with FEFO rule (first expiry first out).
Now they have some older date batches that they want to give at a lower price. Since batch is not determined at sales order creation my solution would be to create new "promotional" code for that material, then with mvt type 309 transfer old batch quantity to new material, set new sales price for new material and sell it until this stock is sold out. Then this promotinal code could be used in future also for similar situations for that material.
Is this the best solution? Any thoughts?
    Thanks,
    Suad.

    Dear Saud,
The better option would be to give a discount on specfic batches (condition type KA00).Since batches are not determined at order level ,the condition KA00 would be redetermine at the time billing.
Also check the pricing setting of copy control from delivery to bill.

    Hi,
Never don't use the Agent job for security missions.
The Agent may skip a mission for one reason or another (eg problems related to the clock as set the system clock into the future and skip the scheduled time). That may lead to the fact that he is not scheduled to run that mission next. The Agent scheduled
