No new request generated

Hello,
i modified one smartform as per the requirement, but when i saved that no new request generated.
how can i transport that request? and how that changes will apply for production?

If your smartform is saved in local object save it in package it will ask
for transport request.
Else goto SE03 transaction, select search for objects in request,execute,
give R3TR,SSFO,your form name ,select both modifiable ,released at bottom
and execute,you will get all requests related to that smartform.
If there is any modifiable reuqest is there then you can transport it.

Generating new Request number

hi frends i was working with smartforms on develpment.i had made sme changes in the code and then save it.system asked for the request no.by mistake i had not gone for "own Request" and click OK for the default Request value displayed there. The changes i have done are not reflecting into the print preview(for which i had made changes).Is this because i had not created new request?how to slve it.can i generate new request and then see the changes in the print preview.
I want to see the changes in the same client and on the same server.
I am doing changes in the print format of the WORK ORDER.

while creating PO with ME21N if we write anything under "your ref" field under "communication" tab then the data in your ref is displayed in the preview.

WLS70 SSL encrypted keys and Certificate Request Generator

we are trying to certificate our WLS 7.0. We use the Certificate Request Generator
webapp for generating the request. The generator forces the user to give in a
private key password. But in the server's SSL config tab the field "Use encrypted
Keys" is fixed to "false" (in WLS 6.1 this field is a checkbox). Is this a bug
in WLS7.0?

New Requests created are in 'Local Workbench Request' in R3 Development

I am going to transport data sources from R3 Dev to R3 Quality.
I have successfully transported the package (which is created in SE80 ) and Application componenet hierarchy and all active version data source RSA6 to R3 Quality .
I have also checked that the package , application transport hierarchy and data sources in R3 Quality.
Now when I tried to create new requests for LBWE data sources ( maintain extract structure , generate data source) , I am getting a message Create Customizing Request , So I created Customizing Request and then I am getting message to create Local Workbench request. If I create local workbench request then it can not be imported to R3 Quality.
Client R3 is open SCC4 settings are 'Automatic Recording of Changes ' and 'Changes to repository and cross client customizing are allowed'.
I am not getting why the system is not asking me to created 'Workbench Request'.

Local Transport Request are not transportable even if we release them.
I have resolved the issue in the below way ,
I went to SE21 and entered the package name as 'YBW' and then clicked on change .
Then Click on properties tab and then select Transport layer as SAP and save.
Go to SE80 and select package and in dictonary Objects drill down view ...right click on any selected view name ...go to other function and click on Write Transport Entry...mention request from Own Request tab which was earlier as Local Workbench Request.
Then go to SE10 and double click on request and go to properties tab ...there select Target Group as
R3 Quality Server name and save it.
Transport the package to R3 Quality.
Henceforth whichever request u create will be of type 'Workbench Request'.
go to SE10 and cross check that your request is now Workbench Request,

Create a new request using T-CODE- OME4

Hi,
I want to transport the requests in production by dev->quality->production.The request is generated by modification in the purchase group using the TCODE- OME4 but the request no which is generated is already existing though I have selected the option of create new request.
Please suggest what is the solution for creating the new request no.

The purchase group are updated in development system by the TCODE OME4 after saving the changes the window is popped up in which there is the option of creating the new request .After generating of the request it is further released using se09 and transported to quality and production system through STMS.
But today when I clicked on the "create new request" the request no which appeared was already existing in the system.No new request no. was generated.
Moreover in oreder to import the requests using STMS I selected three options for the old requests as follows:
OPTIONS:
1) leave transport request in queue for later import
2)import transport request again
3)overwrite orginals
that's why there is the possibility of overwrriting it.
But now please suggest why the new request no is not generating and what can I do now whether I shuld overrite the old requests.

BPC 7.5 Run package doesnt update new request into the Cube though

When I run a data package previously it was generating records for the data as a new request in the Plan Cube in the back end.
But since today though the package is successfuly it does not generate any new records or create a open request in the plan cube.

Could you please open up your transformation and try and validate the transformation with the data in your infoprovider. Have a limited selection and see if you can validate the transformation file successfully.

Leave request collision with new request after deleting previous

For some users we get following errormessage in the leave request screen:
message class HRTIM_ABS_REQ - message 124
-> "Conflict with 2001 (absences) from ... to ...."
This errormessage is appearing after deleting a wrong leave request and requesting a new request for the same day (but with other amount of hours). We can insert this request manually in pa30, but the user is always getting this blocking error in de EQQ-screen.
Can somebody help me with the location where this errormessage is generated?

OK, I found myself already that I have to look in method CL_PT_ARQ_BLOP_ADAPTER~MAINTAIN_TIMEDATA for this error message.
Somebody else a good idea about this error?

I also had similar issue couple of months back when I was trying to access a remote URL from a Windows service when the site does not exists in the server where service resides.
You cannot access a remote url (even though it is SharePoint server and also in same network ) from server object model.
SPSite can look in the current server only. here what is happening is SPSite will look for this in the current server DB and it is not finding this errror.
So please dont use ServerObject model for accessing remote sites. You can use Client Object model for the code /requirement you have stated above.
I wasted lot of time in finding a work around to make to work. It did not. So look for other options.

Error in submitting a new request on concurrent process managers

When I try to submit a new request 'Active Users' or 'Active Responsibilites and Users' , I get the phase as "completed" and the status "Erro"
I checked the log and found the following message:

Please verify the DISPLAY on the server as follows:
- Issue "xhost +" as root user
- Issue "xclock" as applmgr user --> Make sure you can display the clock
If the above does not work, please set the DISPLAY properly in the application context file and run AutoConfig.

Creating a new request in a servlet and proxy it to the next service

Hello all.
My scenario is the following:
- I have a service that when I receive a message request from a user it creates another request and then I want to proxy this new request to the next service.
- Is this possible to do? I'm not talking about using the request.send() method since it tries to send the new request outside the OCMS, I was thinking more of the proxy.proxyTo() method...

I think my problem is DNS related. I don't know why but the following code stop to work properly when I installed a new OCMS instance with a diferent realm (I was using example.com and now I'm using the same domain as my company, novabase.pt). I put "172.18.88.21 novabase.pt" in the hosts.config file and the only thing that stopped working is the creation of new requests within the SipServlet.

Standard manager is not picking up new requests 1533 requests are pending

Currently we are in R12.1.3 with DB 11.1.0.7 on RHEL 5
Suddenly Standard manager is not picking up any new requests actual and target are same but pending requests count reaches 1533 also conflict resolution manager actual & count is same but pending requests count is 219.
We can find some error messages as follows in the manager logfile of Internal manager log file as
"Found dead process: spid=(32711), cpid=(64450), ORA pid=(17), manager=(0/1)" apart from this message there is nothing error in standard manger log file as well as cCRM logfile.
even we checked alertlog file also nothing error message all mount points having free space,Please help us it is on PROD Instance

Creating a request based on a new request type

Hi all,
We are trying to create a request for updating the SPM FF ID authorization.
We created a new request type since the path for this WF is different from other paths that we configured.
We based the initiator for this new WF on a new request type called "SPM change FF ID" that holds the actions CHANGE_USER, ASSIGN_ROLES and SUPER_USER_ACCESS (we added the action SUPER_USER_ACCESS because the first stage in the WF is the "SPM Controller" based on the controller that the FF ID has in SPM).
When creating the request we populate the user ID field in the request with the existing FF ID that has a controller defined for it in SPM + we indicate the new roles to assign the FF ID via entering the "select role" functionality.
After pressing the submit button we receive the error "Error creating request. Approver not found".
What are we missing?

Sorry, just re-read your post. Am I correct in thinking that you want to use the Controllers assigned within SPM to act as the approvers in CUP?
If so, what support pack version are you on as I believe that this only works in SP08 due to a technical bug. This also impacts the SPM Owners acting as approvers.
You may also wish to check the connectors and authorisations of the connector IDs as without being able to read the tables, the approvers may not be found.

Spool request generated twice

Dear all,
I'm facing a very strange behavior while printing sales order confirmation from va01
in SAP ECC5.0.
I've got access sequences and condition records in order to print out immediately the form at saving, based on sales org/doc type.
Among 3 different doc type, only one is wrongly output twice when saving, without any explanations : no messages number set up in communication no TDCOPIES , output type set up ok and so on...
I really check around the whole things to find out a potential reason of this but without success.
Other doc type call same smartforms and print program but correctly issue only one output.
Where else could I look on to?

But how should i link it to background job name ?
i want the link between background job name and spool request generated by it......
TBTCPV is the view but it stores only one spool request.....rather than multiple spoolreq generated by background job..
