No permission to create a Conducotr process

It sounds like you may have placed a group name in the optional App Creation Group Setting.
On the FDM Server:
Start / Oracle EPM System / Financial Data Quality Management / Load Balance Manager / Load Balance Configuration
Select Authentication Tab
Edit the Shared Services Provider
Verify the "App Creation Group: (Optional)" is BLANK
If you have a group in the above window your id will need to belong to that group otherwise you will not be able to create new applications.

This is the primary reason I dislike doing Oracle Apps on Windows.
If something bad happens while patching, and you find yourself without critical ad executables because relink failed, you need to run relinkenv.cmd to (re)create the APPS.SH unix-style environment (forward slashes) for relink.sh.

1. Add parameters to your mapping using the MAPPING INPUT PARAMETER from the pallette.
2. Add parameters to the START operator in the process flow. Bind the process flow parameter to the Mapping parameter.
3. May be appropriate to use CONSTANTS instead of parameters.

downpayment percentage , so if i want 50 percent of order value to be paid and when i go to faz type the invoice is created for 0 value that 50 percent of the amount is not getting calculated , where as when i enter in order same as 50 percent in amount it gets calculated in invoice, any help ?

In the MM Purchasing component, a contract is a type of outline purchase agreement against which release orders (releases) can be issued for agreed materials or services as and when required during a certain overall time-frame.
Contracts can take the following forms:
Quantity contracts
Use this type of contract if the total quantity to be ordered during the validity period of the contract is known in advance. The contract is regarded as fulfilled when release orders totaling a given quantity have been issued.
Value contracts
Use this type of contract if the total value of all release orders issued against the contract is not to exceed a certain predefined value. The contract is regarded as fulfilled when release orders totaling a given value have been issued.
You can also set up corporate buying contracts with your vendors. These are valid for all plants and company codes within a client (see Centrally Agreed Contract).
You can create a contract as follows:
Manually
You enter all data relating to the contract manually.
Using the referencing technique
As reference document (the document you copy from), you can use:
Purchase requisitions
RFQs/quotations
Other contracts
CREATION OF CONTRACT MANUALLY:
Choose Outline agreement --> Contract --> Create(ME31K)
The initial screen appears.
Enter the necessary data. If you make any specifications under the group heading Default data, this data will appear as the default data in each item.
In the Agreement type field, specify whether you are creating a quantity or value contract, for example.
Press ENTER .
The header data screen appears.
Enter the contract validity period. Check the other fields on this screen and make any necessary changes (e.g. the terms of payment) and define the header conditions.
Press ENTER .
The item overview screen appears.
On this screen, enter the information for each item (material number, target quantity, price, receiving plant, or account assignment, etc.) using the same procedure as with purchase orders.
Material without a master record: leave the field for the material number empty and enter the following:
u2013 Short description of the relevant material or service in the Short text field
u2013 Material group to which the material belongs, in the Material group field
u2013 Account assignment category
You can enter u (unknown) or the category of an account assignment.
u2013 The target quantity and the order unit
If you specify an account assignment category other than U (field A), you must enter the relevant account assignment data for the item. To do so, choose Item ® Account assignments (see also Account Assignment).
If necessary, review the details for each item. Select the item(s) to review. Then select Item -> Details.
Enter the desired conditions.
Enter further text for the item if any additional instructions to the vendor or Goods Receiving are necessary. Choose Item -> Texts -> Text overview.
Save the contract.

Goto Tcode:RSPC and select your load data process type where you have to right click on the process chain and select Select create message,there are three types of messages
1>Successful
2>Error
3>Always
If you already created message then go to maintain message
Where you have two buttons
1>is for Edit Document
2>Maintain Recpiants
Goto Edit Document and put your comment and set their mail address in Mail recipiants.
Note there are 2 types of messages you can kept at execution of infopackage process type.
If load is successful send the mesaage to recipients
If load is failed send the message to mail recipt.
It would help you.

How to create a scheduled process

Hi all,
I'd like to create a (WLI) process that would run once
a day at 12:00 noon. Outside of WLI, I could easily use
SpringFramework/Quartz to create a scheduled task that's
equivalent to such a WLI process. But with WLI (8.1),
I've had a very hard time to create such a process.
I'd much appreciate if anyone could give a high level

Permission to create file in directory

Hi all,
I want to check permission in directory. ie. if user have permission to create a file in directory.
how can i check this.
for testing i wrote this program and i disabled all permissions for user (like read, write ) from security tab of directory properties.
so i was not able to open the directory
but it seems that canRead and canWrite are not working

How to create messages in process chains?

Dear Gurus,
I want to use the alert system in the process chains. like when one process fails i have to receive the message on my mail or as an SMS on my mobile.
I tried the same thing with one of my process chain. When i right click one of my process in my process chain i will get the create message option. Hi,
You can also send messages to an application process of the chain, depending on the success or failure of the process.
1.       From the context menu of a process, create an additional process variant of the Send Message type.
2.       If you maintain a message, first specify whether you want the message to be sent when the process has been completed successfully or unsuccessfully. Then choose Next.
3.       You arrive at a window, in which you can select an existing process variant or create a new one.
4.       If you create a new process variant, edit the document that is going to be sent, and maintain a list of recipients.
5.       Save your process variant and go back a step.
The message process variant is now assigned to your application process. When the message is sent, the status information and the process log can also be sent.

When bad file is created then the process stops

hi all,
through interface while we transfer data to a table , if the bad file is created, then the process stops .we want to execute further with all the correct data records excluding records which are in bad file, is it possible ? if yes then how. Because out of 10,000 records if one record is errorneous why the process will stop.
I checked LKM and found the jython script where it checks the return code <> 0 can I do something there to meet our requirements.

You can do this by implementing error checking in the tool, so that only the bad records will be moved into E$ table and remaining records will insert into the target tables. I hope this will meet your requirements.

Don't Have Permission to Create Nodes

I'm creating the node on a SYNCHRONIZATION_CHANGE event as

I've got the room set up so that guests are automatically
promoted. Does that not work as far as Node-creating permission?

Hi Ryan,
You can create a new node only if you are owner of the room
or you are promoted to have host role i.e. role = 100 . When you
autopromote someone, that user gets promoted to a role = 50 i.e. a
presenter role. If you do not autopromote , the default role = 10 ,
i.e. that of a viewer.
Hence you need to promote the incoming user further to a role
= 100, merely autopromote won't give him enough permission to
create a new node.

U can cancel the commercial Inovice, for proforma invoice we have to complete the same by using Tcode VA02---- billing doc. -
Complete. If u have created excise invoice please cancel the excise invoice first and then complete the proforma invoice. Once u complete the proforma inovice check the document flow and see the status it will be cancelled.
