No pins visible in Photoshop CS6 Extended Blur Gallery
In the Blur Gallery of CS6 the blur pins are not visible. I have tried the shortcut H to show the pins, but this did not affect any change. The pin with the adjustment ring and the other adjustment points are not visible. I seem to be able to add pins with the cursor (push pin with + is visible) and make adjustments on the sliders, but no pins. The M key will display the mask and the P key will toggle the preview on/off. The problem exists in all 3 blur filters (Field, Iris, Tilt-Shift). I'm operating on a PC running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, with 12 GB of RAM. The program is Photoshop CS6 Extended. I don't seem to have any other Photoshop issues to date. I've closed and opened the program, restarted the computer, and re-loaded the program from the disk. No change. Any help?

I can no longer use 3D commands in Photoshop CS6 Extended
I have Photoshop CS6 Extended (Ver 13.0.1x64). My desktop is Windows 7 64 Home premium; and Video card is: AMD Radeon HD 5570. The drivers and operating system is updated.
I have been using simple 3D functions like "New 3D extrusion from..." from time to time without any problems until recently. For unknown reasons now when I try to invoke any 3D command, I get the following message: " Could not complete the "New 3D extrusion from selected layer command because of a program error." This ,message gets repeated for any 3D command.
I checked out 3D functionality in Photoshop CS6 32 bit; and Photoshop CS5.5 Extended. Same problem. However, I can access and use all 3D functions in Illustrator CS6. Clearly, therefore, the video card is not the problem. It looks like one of the recent software updates from Adobe must have caused this problem.

Hello folks how do you do? Well, I'm experiencing a problem using the 'Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended'. In general the 3D feature doesn't really show up in my screen. What can I do? Please some one?

Hello I have a weird problem with photoshop cs6 extended
I bought my new laptop HP Pavilion dv6 6170ee which has 2 graphics card 1 is the intel one and the other is the AMD one ( High Performance )
As you can see from the screen shot above my drivers are installed and updated anyway the 3D option in CS6 was working good and it's content was enabled and ready to use , but suddeny after restarting my pc I started cs6 and found out that the contents at 3D Menu is disabled I went for my AMD graphics card control center and made sure that photoshop is running on the ( High Performance ) GPU and here is the screen shot that proffs it
and then I opened photoshop again , choosen Edit , Performace and found that it's still using the Intel Grapics Card ? here is the screen shot
and I have done all what i can do to make the 3D menu content enabled again system restore ( failed ) , Reinstalling windows + Drivers + stuff again ( same problem happpend again after restarting my computer ) and also trying resseting my gpu settings to factory default settings ) all of these was fail , please is there a way to force start photo shop like command line ..etc .

How to save file in photoshop cs6 extended
hi, i started using photoshop cs6 extended yesterday. i have no problem on tools but i have problem on saving my files in photoshop cs6 extended. i've tried to save my files like being shown in tutorials but when i click on the 'save' or 'save as' button, nothing appear on my screen. i've searching the tutorials on youtube but i didn't find the solution to my problem.please, do help me.

Are Photoshop and OS fully updated and have you performed the usual trouble-shooting routines (trashing prefs by keeping command-alt-shift/ctrl-alt-shift pressed while starting Photoshop after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved and making a note of the Preferences you’ve changed, 3rd party plug-ins deactivation, system maintenance, cleaning caches, font validation, etc.)? -
Photoshop CS6 Extended crashing when using Oil Paint filter
I replaced a standard hard drive with a new SSD drive and did a fresh install of Windows 7 and all of my programs. I made sure all Win 7 updates, program updates and drivers are current. The good news is Photoshop CS6 Extended loads much faster. The bad news is now Photoshop crashes when I attempt to use the Oil Paint filter. The only hardware change is the new SSD, I haven't changed any video devices and I never had any issues running the Oil Paint filter before I swapped out hard drives and did the software reinstallations. I've tried the OpenGL Drawing Mode in basic, normal and advanced, and still get crashes when attempting to use oil paint. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Installed TWAIN devices: NONECrash info helps, but it would seem that you just see the old "intel chips don't cut it" problem. Turn of the intel graphics unit in the driver or even in the BIOS/ EFI. Perhaps updating your storage/ SATA driver when installing the SSD simply has re-enabled it.

Crash - Windows 8.1 Photoshop CS6 Extended
After an english Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended install, it just refuses to work: crashes after seconds of startup. After so many crashes I think Photoshop moved the plugins, because they are not in the main folder anymore.
Event Viewer doesn't report anything strange.

Does Photoshop CS6 Extended allows users to crop individual frames? As in just one segment of the video? If so, how is it done?
Hi there
The Crop tool in Photoshop functions by cropping the entire image area - however, you can use a Layer Mask to edit an indiviual video or animation frame, as shown below.
1. Start by importing your video or animation in Photoshop, making sure to convert frames to layers (File > Import > Video Frames To Layers...). Go to your layers panel and select the frame you'd like to crop. Turn on the visibility of the layer by clicking on the small check box to the left of the layer icon - it should turn into an eye as shown below. Then, click the "Add vector mask" icon highlighted below.
2. Next, select the Rectangular Marquee tool (or use an alternative selection method if you want a different shape) and draw a seelction around the part of your video/animation you want to keep.
3. Go to Select > Inverse to select the inverse of the area you just selected.
4. Grab the Paint Bucket Tool and fill the selected area with pure Black (#000000). This will effectively "crop" the layer you have selected. You can see below that the layer underneath my selected layer is now showing through where I filled the selection with black.
The great thing about using a mask is that you can edit it or delete it altogether if need be. Note though that the area you mask will show up as transparent pixels in your Timeline panel - you can see the layer I edited on the far right of my timeline in the screenshot above.

Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended Could not complete your request because of a program error.
When starting Photoshop CS6 I get this error message, Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended Could not complete your request because of a program error (-- OK --). This happens on the main screen immediately. Once I click OK the program seems to be alright. But some part of it, that I haven't discovered yet, may not function properly.
I am running Windows7 Professional Service Pack 1 64 bit with Intel i7-4770k CPU and 16 GIG Ram.
This problem just started recently, everything has been fine up till now. I must have done something when trying to defragment the Registry or get rid of temp files.
I have uninstalled Photoshop CS6 and reinstalled it with no effect. I have tried to run Photoshop CS6 32 bit in Safe Mode, but it will not run. It hangs up on Reading Memory.
Is there any kind log file that would tell me what is causing this to occur?
Does anyone know what might cause this?

J. J. PattersonDid you reset your Preferences and Photoshop tools. Photoshop Preferences are not removed with an un-install and an Install does not install preferences. Preferences are created for a user id when a user ID start Photoshop and there are no preferences for the user ID.

Can someonee please assist me in my Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended. I keep getting a 'Couldn't Complete Your Request because Dynamic Link is not Available?" Is there a way of getting a software patch for this problem? I thought you didn't need extra software. My software other than that problem works fine.

i am using windows 7 on an HP Pavilion dv6-6108. I purchased Photoshop CS6 extended. The guy said it is a full Retail version and "self installs" the serial number and activates. It doesn't fully install into my control panel programs, instead it puts 2 icons on the desk top for Photoshop, but they have a "install shield" on them. I can't update (the update and register features are grayed out.under the help menu. The program opens, but everytime it does, it brings up the window asking if you want to let this program make changes on the computer. Supposedly the serial number that auto-loads is inscribed on the inner ring of the disk, but you can't really tell what they are. So I have no way to know what it is. Lots of other odd ball stuff that makes me doubt the genuineness of the product. What can I do to establish real or fake? And to get it registered like my other Adobe products.

I have Photoshop CS6 Extended Students and Teachers Edition. when I go into the Filter/Oil paint and try to use Oil Paint a notice comes up "This feature requires graphics processor acceleration. Please Check Performance Preferences and verify that "Use Graphics Processor" is enabled. When I go into Performance Preferences I get a notice "No GPU available with Photoshop Standard. Is there any way I can add this feature to my Photoshop either by purchasing an addition or downloading something?
Does you display adapter have a supported GPU with at least 512MB of Vram? And do you have the latest device drivers install with Open GL support. Use CS6 menu Help>System Info... use its copy button and paste the information in here.

Can I legally use for commercial purposes the Photoshop CS6 Extended Student Version or do I have to get the Photoshop CS6 Extended normal (commercial) version? I want to make a game and I'll use things created in Photoshop, like images. And I'll sell this game, so I'll get money with it: it's something commercial. Do I have to get the commercial version for that or can I use a Student's one?

You can start work on your game from the moment you download and complete the installation of the Trial version.
No-one will be standing over you watching what you do or monitoring you remotely or noting when you pay for the software.
You can buy the software at any time during the Trial period. However, after a maximum 30 days of using the Trial, you will have to pay to keep using the software.
Other than that, do what you like with the Trial.
(If you somehow finish the game after 20 days of using the Trial then you can start selling the game even if you have not yet purchased the software.) -
