NO REFUND NOW

PAYPAL agrees I deserve a refund and PAYPAL gives me the address for the seller.  When package arrives, no address known!  Package is sent back to me unopened.  I send them(PAYPAL) confirmation and where I paid USPS for label WITH the address they give me. PAYPAL says they couldn't prove the package was sent and now denies my refund.  Be careful about the buyer protection...you are on your own.

Appeal the decision, you have done all that they have asked you to do >>>  Click on the words "Contact" at the bottom of your paypal account summary page and use the phone option (if there is one in the country you are in) > click on the "call us" option on the left (fees "may" apply so check the cost with your phone tariff first, as you sometimes have to wait a while to connect).
When you get through don't select any options just hang on till you get transfered to an agent or say the word "agent".

    I have skype premium (1 year).
    Last month I added another subscription for 1 month (recurring payment). I did this on August 08.
    I could cancel it before the due date but today I got charged again (September 5th). I don't get why this is not advised.
    So, I'd like to request a refund but I can't make it because the link is broken. The same happens with Live chat. There is no way to access there. All links are broken.

  • Creative Cloud Membership Refund

    on 8/3 I purchased a creative cloud membership but canceled it within the hour upon finding out that my boyfriend already had the same membership. I contacted support right away and they told me they had initiated a refund that would be in my account in 5-7 business days. Its been over a week and I have not received a refund so I contacted support again today. This second customer support representative told me that a refund had never been initiated like that first representative told me and that now its initiated and I have to wait an additional 5-7 days or more for my refund. How is this an ok way to treat customers? Its been over a week and I should have my refund now.

  • Why are HP ignoring me regarding a refund? 2 weeks of ignored contact so far...

    I purchased a HP laptop for my partner for Chritsmas,  who naturally opened it on 25/12. After starting the laptop we realised the quality was poor, as was the performance. The laptop seized up many times which I would not expect from a brand new unit, it was very slow in performance as a whole and the keyboard had a delay which made typing near impossible. The ‘Dr Dre speakers’ which I had paid a premium for were comparable with a standard laptop, if not worse. Overall we found the unit to be unusable and a total disappointment. It wasn’t fit for purpose and was of extremely unsatisfactory quality.
    I communicated this to HP direct immediately on 25/12 and received a response on 26/12 offering a collection of the unit and full refund, I responded and accepted this offer. I then chased the company for the collection details so I could make the arrangements my side, however I was ignored. After no response to my emails the previous days I called HP on 30/12 and spoke with Anthony, I was told someone would be in contact via email. I then received a blank email to which I replied requesting the collection details once again. The follow up email to this was to say they won’t be arranging a collection as I was a few days out of the returns period, which they had not previously informed me of. My request to return the laptop was due to the fact it was unusable for our requirements, not a change of mind. I had also already made alternate arrangements for a different gift after the company agreed a return/refund on 26/12. They didn’t make any efforts to advise otherwise, instead I had to chase them on countless occasions.
    I then called HP again to communicate I wasn’t satisfied on 31/12 and spoke with Anthony once again. I asked to speak with a manager, a request which was denied even after my persistence. I was told to email the manager the details of the situation up until that point, which was using further of my time however I complied with this to try and reach a resolution. I was ignored, with no response from the manager who I was told is Jim.
    I emailed again 3 more times to request a response, to be completely ignored. I then called HP again 05/01 and couldn’t get through and again 06/01 and went through to Anthony yet again, he remembered our previous conversations and promised he would revert to a manager immediately after the call at 13.28 to ask the manager to resolve the issue. I explained my complete lack of confidence in this but he had said he would definitely do this, I have not yet had any correspondence back at all.
    I then called again 08/01 (after waiting on hold for another 15 minutes) and spoke with Cynthia who told me she had escalated the case once again to the manager Jim, unsurprisingly I have still not had a response. This has been a very frustrating and stressful 2 week long situation, with HP recieving interest on the money.
    I have been ignored constantly which leads me to believe the company is no longer handling the issue, I want to return the unit for a full refund now. Not only is the product not fit for purpose, I have experienced a total lack of customer service and due care. I would literally never touch a HP product again. 
    Please can someone actually respond to me and provide details for a collection and ETA on the refund today???

  • Need advice on airport set up (home network)

    hi all,
    i am just wondering what the best set up would be for my home network, listed below are what i have set up, and what i think could be the best setup
    i have an office upstairs which contains:
    -ADSL2 modem
    -iMac 802.11n
    -PC wired
    -printer
    -750GB LaCie HDD
    i have my lounge room which is downstairs and almost below the office. (in case it matters) the office is above my garage – which is next to my lounge room. so the airport will be going through the floor & my brick garage wall.
    in my lounge i have:
    -macbook 802.11n
    -iphone x 2 802.11g
    -xbox 360 (currently have wireless adapter but i think ill sell it due to speed/depending on the setup i go with)
    i am concerned because i need to have the network G for my iphones and depending on how i set up my 360.
    i want to stream HD media to my 360 from my imac (through connect 360) and i have not been able to watch it yet as i lag every 30-40 seconds watching lost in HD. (that was using the faulty netgear DG834N modem/router which i have just sent back to netgear/supplier for a refund).
    now after discovering i can use an apple airport extreme and express together i figured i could do either one of two things:
    -have an extreme wired to the 360 downstairs( utilizing really only 1 port), have the HDD connected to the extreme (i figure if its connected via ethernet to the extreme, even though the imac is wireless, being connected to the source (extreme + hdd) i shouldn't get lag watching HD or using the 360 online.
    Then the express is upstairs in the office where the modem plugs into the express and the express shares the network to the extreme.
    now with this method i figure i can have an 802.11n (b/g compatible) network and all my devices can run off it. (don't need pure N as the 360 is connected via ethernet)
    because the printer is in the office i would set the printer up to be shared via the imac and the laptop could just use the shared printer (i don't print too often). id prolly have to buy a wireless adapter for the dell but i could also share the network via ethernet to from the imac.
    the 2nd:
    - the extreme is upstairs with the modem connecting to the imac, PC, HDD and printer wired.
    the airport express is downstairs with the xbox 360 (im assuming the ethernet port can send info and not just receive packets). this way the modems are linked up and (i hope) the network is running at 5Ghz so its fastest possible for streaming HD/SD media.
    running this method i would need to set the imac up to host a G network for the iphones as they don't support N.
    the laptop can connect wirelessly.
    now i have only just discovered you can make a WDS using an extreme and express. so im sorry if ive gotten anything wrong, i have been using my netgear router and to date it has SUCKED!
    a couple of questions:
    is the express slower than the extreme, does it have gigabit ethernet and is the express going to lag being rougly 2 walls, 8-10 metres (in a direct line) from the express?
    if i were just to keep my current xbox 360 wireless device, would it suffice for streaming SD/HD media?
    now i am looking in the future at getting another hard drive (500-750GB) would i be best to get a time capsule or just sticking with the extreme? can the time capsule rout/network as good as the extreme?
    and now, for my final question, i have a friend 10 townhouses, 5-6 real houses down (if i had to guess he'd be 100 metres from my place). if he were to get an extreme, could he use my internet/connect to my network?
    i appreciate anyone helping me, i know its a long read but i just don't want to overdo it, also i don't want to be lagged if i feel like playing some multiplayer halo3/GTA IV or want to watch HD/SD media.

    That is a possibility. However you may find that the wireless signal can not penetrate the 2 walls and still be usable. You will only know by trying it.

    The iMac would NOT be able to host a G network of the iPhone. The iMac would need to be connected wirelessly to the signal provided by the AirPort Extreme base station (AEBS). It can't connect to a wireless network as a client AND host a wireless network at the same time.

  • Why is the Zen Touch.

    I just wanted know know one thing, WHY DID YOU GUYS MAKE THE SMALLER ONES BETTER THAN THIS?!?!?! I own a 40gb creative zen touch and a friend of mine has a smaller 5gb one with exactly everything the touch has except the touch pad on the smaller one is better (liek the design you guys decided to choose) and having radio, as well as having the mic thing where you can record anything without using your computer. For example you can record important meetings in case you miss something out during the meeting without have a microphone connected to the computer to record. (if you dont know what i mean well i mean you just have the mp3 and you put the record function on during a conversation and you can listen to it afterwards instead of using a regular computer with a microphone at home...)
    Anyway my whole point is why make the smaller ones better than the bigger ones? 20-40gb is very nice but why make some smaller ones better and more options to work with? Is it because the Zen Touch's are older and the smaller ones are newer?
    This makes me want to get a refund now and get a Zen Vision or whatever can do Radio/Music/Pictures/videos/mic recording/lots of size (20gb or 40gb).
    Basically this sounds like a media source player but i have no idea since the things are so big and can barely fit in a pocket.

    The reason (I speculate) that the Zen Touch doesn't have all the features that the Zen Micro has is because it is a much older player. It was made before Creative started putting FM radio adn Microphones in all their players.
    And it is so thick because of the 24 hour battery, which takes up a good part of the player.

  • Iphone 4s and iphone 4 no service with ios5 suggestions please

    first let me tell you my setup, i have both an iphone 4 and 4s in house, where i live i get bad service and was lucky enough to get a micro cell from at&t. i have 6mb dsl line. for over a year and a half i have had no issues with using phones in my home. both iphones and androids. after i upgraded to a 4s on launch day and upgraded my wifes 4 to ios5 we have both had issues of no service or searching and phones not working. i first blamed it on my micro cell but its kind of hard to when one phone shows 5 bars service and the other shows no service. so i thought it was not being handled right in the micro cell. at&t reset the micro cell on their end and i had reset it on my end. did all the network resets in the phones. still have the issue. once in a while both phones will say no service but oddly the 4 does this more than the 4s. im almost to the point of thinking it is a device issue but being that we are over an hour away from apple and there is no at&t corporate store here that can help i dont know what to do. she is a nurse in the ER and needs her phone to work incase they call her in.

    Im in the UK and get the same problem. We have 2 Iphone 4's and 1 4s in our house and the 4s spends most of it's time diverting to the answer machine. O2 have replaced the phone and i have the IOS update but its still the same. Thinking of a refund now.

  • Display gradient, humming when dimmed, and random shut downs

    On the iMac alum. intel 20" display.
    3 problems after 2 days from purchase, and from reading the recent threads, I'm not the only one. I've been a hardcore apple user for the past 10 years, and i have never been so disappointed. After reading that the gradient effect is common among most of new Alum. iMacs, i am left with a very ill feeling in my stomach. Taking it back to the Apple Store tomorrow. I've read other posts were people have returned up to 3 machines, all come back with the same problem. Should i just get a refund now, or try another replacement?

    Bought a brand new iMac 24" 3.06GHz 4GB MEM 1TB HD 2 weeks ago.
    Soft hum, but enough to go nuts.
    Returned it, and today got a new one.
    Same story.
    I've read about this hum on different fora and ppl try to locate the problem.
    But I noticed putting the system 2 feet from a wall actually solves the problem. Now that's great if your desk is in the middle of the room, but not the case here.
    So this one's going back as well and I don't want another one.
    I have a white 20" and a recent aluminum 20" model both are DEAD SILENT. No hum, no squeeck, nothing...
    I think it's a serious flaw of the 24". At first I thought this new 3.06GHz processor needed some serious cooling but seems the 2.8GHz suffers the same problem.
    If you install iStat Pro from www.islayer.com one can read the fan speeds.
    1198-1200 rpm all the time and according to others it's same on both 2.8 and 3.06 models.
    So I think Apple missed something here or they all have their pc's @ least 2 feet from a wall.

    My account was blocked three days ago after I tried to change my payment method. at the same time, my mother's account is blocked as well( we shared a same skype payment method).
    I tried to file report and fix the problem, but without any explaination, Skype terminate my account and my mother's account along with my unused 3 month unlimited world suscription, 3 month sigapore subscription and one month china subscription. I lost about 50 dollars without any mentions of refund.
    now try to contact my family, I decide move on to register a new account. but as soon i register a new account (with a new email address), and tried to purchase the subscription, the skype will block my new account. 
    I want to know how to register a new account and pay for a subsciption and possible way to get my refund from my old one.

    1. Your account is not terminated - it's just temporarily blocked - and as soon as it is unblocked you can resume using your Subscriptions.
