No WebService Provider is registered at this URL
Hi all,
I receive a "No WebService Provider is registered at this URL" error message when clicking on a SOAP Endpoint URI for an ESB routing service in the ESB console definition tab. I am running Oracle SOASuite 10.1.3.5.1.
ESB is configured as a 3 node cluster and this error message appears when I shut down 1 node of the cluster.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.
Vinnie

You may need to look at the load balancer as if the server is unavailable it shouldn't be routing requests to it.

SOAP Adapter with Webservice Provider URL
This is what I did. Configured a Receiver SOAP adapter with SOAP 1.1 Message Protocol. Target URL is the WSDL URL Binding (SOAMANAGER) with authentication.
When I test the scenario the Message is through PI and Communication Channel - No errors
However strangely I do not see anything happening in ECC. Sometimes a log shows up in SOAMANGER "SOA Runtime Log/Trace Viewer" which has SOAP Runtime Error Information. This is very inconsistent again.
I have tested SOAP with XI 3.0 Message Protocol and the messages are through in ECC. No problems there.
Also Tried with directly using "SOAP Location URL" from within the Binding WSDL URL. This also results in DUMP in ECC.
Does SOAP adapter with SOAP 1.1 Message Protocol support Webservice Provider in ECC EHP5(SOAMANAGER Binding)? Is it built to support this kind of scenario? Or only WS adapter can invoke the Binding URL?
Is there any other URL that can be invoked with SOAP -SOAP1.1?
Using PI 7.1 Service Pack 5.
Pavan.
Edited by: pavan sodani on Aug 12, 2011 4:57 AMDid you properly expose the RFC/Class in SOAMANAGER of the backend system? there is no endpoint created by default. You have to create and endpoint for a logical system (I guess). Then try calling the webservice from any 3rd party tool like Altova XML Spy. If that works then the ABAP webservice is working good and could be called from PI.

PI as Webservice provider - URL with username and password
Dear Experts,
I need to test my webservice in PI from a SOAP client like XMLSpy or SOAPUI.
I tested the URL from the browser. It prompted for the username and password and worked.
How do I pass the username and password in the URL when I call this from the SOAP clients?
I tried the following format:
http://<server:5xxxx>/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=:<bs>:<soap sender channel>&sap-user=<username>&sap-password=<password>
I still got a 401 Unauthorized response back.
Any ideal please?Hi
1) testing through XML Spy
In your WSDL file provide URL in -
<soap:address location="http://host:port/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=party:service:channel" xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/soap/"/>
While sending request to server,it will ask XI/PI user id and password itself. The user id must have authorization to invoke web service.Better take SAP_ALL or PIAPPLUSER authorization in this id.
2) You can pass user id and password also in this URL
http://host:port/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=party:service:channel>&sap-user=<username>&sap-password=<password>
Try both the options.

Provide Webservice link not generating corresponding WSDL URL based on the service operation.
Hi All,
The provide webservice link is not generating corresponding WSDL URL based on Service Operation.
E.g. Currently we have two service operations namely Create and Update. We are using Rowset based messaging. Provide Webservice link generated correct WSDL URL for the create operation but it is providing the same URL for Update operation as well. kindly share your knowledge if you guys ever faced similar problem.
Regards
ViswaHi Hakan,
Thanks for your reply. Actually i am trying to generate WSDL URLs for each service operation for Travel & Expense module like create expense, update expense etc.
URL generated looks like this : http://xxx.xx.xxx.xx:8011/PSIGW/PeopleSoftServiceListeningConnector/HX_TE_EXPENSE_CLAIM.16.wsdl - this url is meant for CREATE operation. But for the UPDATE operation i am getting the same URL . Normally, Whenever i create WSDL URL for different operation the numeric part of the above URL changes like 16, 17 etc ..based on the service operation but no two operation have same URL like i am getting now. Please provide your knowledge on this issue.

Activating a webservice provider asks to register an object
Hello all,
I'm developing a webservice provider (based on a RFC) within SAP ERP6.0 (ehp6) using the wizard. In the end when I try to activate the service provider it asks me to register the object in SAP marketplace. The object refers to a class... something like this: R3TR CLAS /1BCDWB/WSCA2CB7301971133181FF.
This is a strange issue because I'm creating the service using Z prefix. I already created another webservice providers in SAP ERP previous versions and this issue never happened.
My question is: in SAP ERP latest versions, when providing web services, the system will always ask to register this kind of object even if we are using Z objects? Is there anyone creating webservices in the latest versions and had the same issue?
Note: I have registered this object and the system created this class with superclass CL_SRG_RFC_PROXY, the methods: CONSTRUCTOR, GET_PROXY and the attributes VERSION and CTX
Thank you.
Regards,
Paulo DinisThis is an error.
I implemented the following SAP note to solve this issue:
Note 1649307 - System status "cannot be changed": Change of generated class
Thank you for your replies. -
Custom Data Provider Not Registered in Report Server (Sql Server 2012)
We have a simple test report project set up and can preview the reports with no errors or problems from the designer. We can deploy the report project, but when trying to view the reports from the browser, we get the following error:
An error as occurred during report processing, (rsProcessingAborted)
An attempt has been made to use a data extension 'LiMeDAS' that is either not registered for this report server or is not supported in this edition of Reporting Services. (rsDataExtensionNotFound)
I have followed this article that explained how to register a data provider extension:
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-ca/library/bb326409.aspx
I have placed the assemblies in:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS11.LIMEDAS\Reporting Services\ReportServer\bin
Added the following line to the rsreportserver config file (inside the <extensions><data> tags)
<Extension Name="LiMeDAS" Type="Limedas.Data.Provider.LimedasConnection,Limedas.Data.Provider"/>
and finally added the following to the rssrvpolicy config file (inside the top level CodeGroup tag):
<CodeGroup class="UnionCodeGroup" version="1" PermissionSetName="FullTrust" Name="LiMeDASDataProviderCodeGroup" Description="Grants permission to the LiMeDAS data processing extension for reporting services.">
<IMembershipCondition class="UrlMembershipCondition" version="1" Url="C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS11.LIMEDAS\Reporting Services\ReportServer\bin\Limedas.Data.Provider.dll"
/>
</CodeGroup>
We have the data extension set up perfectly for the designer, because I can see it as a type of connection and the preview works in the designer.
But, for some reason it does not work in the server. They were set up the same way, but the server will not work. From the report manager page, when we try to add a data source, the only type option is Sql Server, none of the other extensions mentioned in
the config file. Does anyone know what else could cause this issue?Hi Justin,
According to the error message and the issue can be caused by the edition of your SSRS is not support for the custom data provider. For example the express edition have limitation support on this:
Features Supported by the Editions of SQL Server 2012 .
If your edition is the supportted edition and the issue can be caused by the custom data provider do not necessarily support all the functionality supplied by Reporting Services data processing extensions. In addition, some OLE DB data providers and ODBC
drivers can be used to author and preview reports, but are not designed to support reports published on a report server. For example, the Microsoft OLE DB Provider for Jet is not supported on the report server. For more information, see
Data Processing Extensions and .NET Framework Data Providers (SSRS).
If you are running on a 32-bit platform, the data provider must be compiled for a 32-bit platform. If you are running on a 64-bit platform, the data provider must be compiled for the 64-bit platform. You cannot use a 32-bit data provider wrapped with 64-bit
interfaces on a 64 bit platform.

Consume Webservice provide by PI
HI friends! I need a little help. I'm starting with PI and made my first PI interface with this scenario:
Webservice -> PI -> RFC(ECC)
I used XML Spy to test with url http://xxxxxx:51000/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=:BS_SITE:Channel02_WstoRFC_i and works great. So now I'm trying to use this webservice with the third party system that will consume this web service. In setup I have to inform URL for WSDL and METHOD. I tried use URL WSDL from Sender Agreement but the third party system don't recognize. When I use this URL in web browser WSDL open, but PI password is asked.
How can I do this? I'm missing something?
Thanks for any help!Hey Fulvio,
Saw this thread just now, though it would be a very late response on this one.. but still here goes the solution-->
If the third party system don't have field for username and password then you only have following 4 options:-
[This one's ugly :)] Add username & password in HTTP URL as in following format:
http://username:password@hostname:portname/dir/wsdl?p=1_e76cc1e6072c32abacf9fd880a70bcaa_portTypeBindingService
or
http://hostname:portname/dir/wsdl?p=1_e76cc1e6072c32abacf9fd880a70bcaa_portTypeBindingService&username=[yourusername]&password=[yourpassword]
in your case it should look like :-
http://fulvio:xxxxxx@hostname:portname/dir/wsdl?p=1_e76cc1e6072c32abacf9fd880a70bcaa_portTypeBindingService
or
http://fulvio:xxxxxx@hostname:portname/dir/wsdl?p=1_e76cc1e6072c32abacf9fd880a70bcaa_portTypeBindingService&username=fulvio&password=xxxxxx
Other possible work around would be to save your wsdl doc to a local file and point to it with link as --> file://url
the another option is to Provide a WSDL file as mentioned by Greg.
Hope this helps.

Getting error The user could not be registered at this time due to an internal error in R11
We created new Organization (that had alpha numeric value e.g. 7777A) using Customer Online to be used in iStore i11 version.
The user account and password was also created for the organization. When we tried to login to istore the first time the registration screen (jtftmplh.jsp) was displayed. After filling the needed information and submitting we get the error:
"The user could not be registered at this time due to an internal error Please contact the system administrator if this problem persists.
Note to System Administrators: View source for more information about this error."
But if we created new Organization with numbers only e.g. 7777 we don't have the issue. Yet we already have large number of organization with alpha numeric and they work fine. (believe they were pragmatically loaded).
The profiles "HZ: Generate Party Number" and "HZ: Generate Party Site Number" are set to Yes.

SOAP : No adapter registered for this channel
hello everybody,
i'm working with a PI 7.1
i have a interface RFC - PI - SOAP.
when i look on Communication Channel Monitor i see this error on my soap CC
No adapter registered for this channel
i restart J2ee and applicate CPA cache refresh.
i tryed to create a new soap cc but no result. still to have this problem.
Any suggestion?
thanks
AlexHI Alex,
Edit the channel and do some dummy changes and activate again. also go to ID -> Menu Environment -> Clear SLD Data Cache. Also check the cache notifications.
Then perform CPACache refresh using PIDIRUSER and this url.
http://XIHost:JavaPort/CPACache/refresh?mode=delta
http://XIHost:JavaPort/CPACache/refresh?mode=full
If this does not work then you may check Visual Admin -> Soap Adapter service and restart it....
Thanks,

Sync webservice provider in ecc
Hi All,
I have created webservice provider in ecc, Sync call via SOAMANAGER.
With the wsdl I can able to consume. Tested with SOAPUI.
But am not able to monitor the messages during the test. Try to trace SOAMANAGER --> Monitoring. And also tried to find in SRT_MONI.
Not able to see the messages which I tested via SOAPUI.
Please help me to fix. Have to configure anything in SOAMANAGER to trace the messages for sync call?

ArunHi Krupa,
Thanks for pointing me to the thread , I already checked it before posting this question but its unanswered and does not provide solution to fix my issues.

Error: HTTP method GET is not supported by this URL
Hey,
I am attempting to overload the doGet method with a Wrapper class I created for HttpServletReponse that extends it of course and I receive this error: "HTTP method GET is not supported by this URL". I figure you can't change the method as I have but I am curious if there is anyway I can go about to accomplish what I am trying to do. Basically I just need to extend the HttpServletResponse so that it contains a few more variables and such.
public class test extends HttpServlet {
public void doGet(HttpServletRequest request, XmlServletResponseWrapper response) throws ServletException, IOException{
response.setContentType("text/html");
PrintWriter out = response.getWriter();
out.println("<html>");
out.println("<head>");
out.println("</head>");
out.println("<body>test</body>");
out.println("</html>");
public void doGet(HttpServletRequest request, XmlServletResponseWrapper response)
is not the same method as
public void doGet(HttpServletRequest request, HttpServletResponse response)
The servlet container is going to call the later method and since you did not overwrite it to provide an implementation it sees the GET request as not being supported.
what you are looking to do is something like this:
public void doGet(HttpServletRequest request, HttpServletResponse response) throws ServletException, IOException{
XmlServletResponseWrapper myResponse = (XmlServletResponseWrapper ) response;
myResponse .setContentType("text/html");
PrintWriter out = myResponse .getWriter();
out.println("<html>");
out.println("<head>");
out.println("</head>");
out.println("<body>test</body>");
out.println("</html>");

You may want to consider using another browser if 2.0.0.20 does not work for your email. You could try using Safari for your email. If that does not work or prefer an alternative, a couple of options are [http://www.icab.de/dl.php iCab 4.8] or [http://www.opera.com/download/?os=mac&ver=9.64&local=y Opera 9.64] (Opera 10 does not work on OS X 10.3.9) -
"Redirection limit for this URL exceeded" can't open web page
hi,
I have portal 2005Q4 running with a gateway. I created a portlet based on the iframe provider. This portlet points to http://iisserver.
iisserver is a server on our LAN. When you go to http://iisserver, it automatically redirects you to http://iisserver/auth/login.aspx. But when I use the iframe portlet to access this server, I get the following error message "Redirection limit for this URL exceeded. Unable to load the requested page. This may be caused by cookies that are blocked" and nothing shows up. Of course cookies are not blocked.
So In the amconsole > service configuration > SRA config > gateway > URLs to which User Session Cookie is Forwarded, I added http://iisserver. Usually this solves this error message. But not today. So I replaced http://iisserver by http://iisserver/auth/. After this change I was able to see the redirection page but then the redirection failed with the same error message. And I still cannot see http://iisserver/auth/login.aspx in the portlet.
I hope someone can helphi,
