Nokia 3250 problem

my nokia 3250 became switch off while updating software and it not starting.the battery is fully charged but it doesn't start.and i dont want to go to the service centre because my phone is not in warrenty period so it will cost a lot.so please tell me that how can i start it.my email id is:- ---

well the only thing that you can do is to take it to a nokia care point, there is no other way easy process to start it again, there are a few tools available but they are quite complicated to use and are beyond the scope of discussion in this forum..i suggest to take it to nokia care and about the cost, you have no other choice but to cough up the money..sorry,pal..

Big Nokia 3250 problems

Hi guys.
My girlfriends 3250 has some massive problems. The navigation stick doesnt work corectly, when moved around it acts as if a button has been pressed on the keypad!
Anyone know what this could be?
Taking it to a repair shop is not an option, it is out of warrenty and I am skint at the minute and can't afford repair costs. I consider myself pretty handy with dismantling phones but I need some advice on the place to look first.

I've had it in pieces.
All plugs are secure and dust free and still same. Does anyone know where I can get a spare part for the insides? I think its bit with the directional button on (the name escapes me). Also, after changing the case, the screws are REALLY hard to get in. My hand hurts.

Nokia 3250 probleme

Hi , I just bought a new battery for my phone i Fully recharged it but when i try to call someone the charge indicator change for full charge to low battery . and when i restart it , the battery indicator show me that the battery is full charged :/ . Please can anyone explain to me what's goin on .

:/ I'll think that i'll buy a new Battery and see if there are some changes . I'm glade that it's not a phone probleme .

[HELP] Nokia 3250

problem no.1
i update nokia 3250 RM-38 from v03.21 to v03.24 through using the Nokia software updater.
after updated i found that my Chinese language gone,
it suppose in the v03.21,but now all is gone,i cant even read Chinese words.
*i am looking for downgrade back to v03.21,or any solutions that can get back chinise language to my nokia 3250.
problem no.2
after upgrade v03.21 to v03.24 i found that my pc suite unable to recognize my phone after connect through the usb cable,this made me cant restore what i have backup in my pc,i lost all my contacts and messages now..
i am really looking for any solution,kindly help me pls,
i appreciate that very much...
and hope NOKIA take serious action in this problems,

I have a problem connecting my Nokia 3250 to my co...

ok, heres the thing. I have a nokia 3250 phone. I tried connecting it to the computer with the usb cable, but there is a problem. it detects the phone and even shows up in pc suite. for like 5 seconds. then it detects sumthing else and a windows baloon pops up saying "Nokia Device Bus connected in non-compatible mode. Change it from UI" and then whr it says "nokia 3250 connected" on pc suite...it says multiple phones connected. Also, before, when I used to actually use this phone alot..i used to connect it to the computer and use it as a modem and use my service providers internet on my computer..but now it says "no modems found" when i try to connect. another problem is, when ever i start pc suite...it asks me to connect to the internet before it can run...and if i cancel that, pc suite crashes. please advice me on this one. thanks.

It is a phone UI issue that you are currently having as answered in your other post but repeated here:
Select Menu> Connect. > Data cbl.. Select what the USB data cable connection is used for: Media player, PC Suite, or Data transfer. To have the device ask the purpose of the connection each time the cable is connected, select Ask on connection.
For Data transfer and Media player connections the phone is in the offline mode, and no incoming or outgoing calls are possible.
After transferring data, ensure that it is safe to unplug the USB data cable from the PC.

Nokia 3250 messenging problems????

Hi, I have a nokia 3250, and the phone generally works fine!!! however when i send or reply to a txt message it literally takes about 4-5mins to actually send. It just displays SENDING screen. Can anybody help me figure this problem out.

Nokia 3250 text messaging problems

Hi I have a Nokia 3250 and have been experiencing problems when send SMS / MMS messages. The first 3250 I had started going funny after a week or so whereby you when you have written your message and clicked for it to send the sending message box would come up but if a button was pressed it would freeze and even if no button was pressed it wold take anything up to a minute to actually send the message and then allow you to carry on using the phone. I was told this may be a software problem and another new handset was sent to me. At first this worked fine but now the phone is only a week old it has started developing the same fautl, although not as bad as the first it still freezes and wont allow anything to be done on the phone until the message gets sent. I have tried the sim card in a Motorola and it works fine (the sim is only 2-months old). Has anyone else experienced this on the 3250????

i just purchased nokia 3250 before 2 weeks and experiemced the same problem as mentioned by you, 1st i ignor it thought may set has slow processing speed as it is with some sets but one of my colleagues has same model and his set is perfactly allright.

i talked with the dealer he said just submit is he will send it to company and reinstall the software or do anyother thing if necessary to solve the problem.

KINDLY I WANT ANYONE KNOW HOW TO GET THEMES FOR NOKIA 3250, BECAUSE ALL THEMES I ALREADY DOWNLOAD IT WITH (.SIS) EXTENSION DOESNT INSTALLED ON MY PHONE , AND I TRIED MANY WEBSITE , BUT MANY OF THEM DOESNT SUPPORT 3250 THEMES,, PLEASE I WANT SOME HELP TO MANAGE THIS PROBLEM,AND IS THERE NEW FILES WITH DIFFERENT EXTENSIONS RATHER THAN (.SIS).

Nokia 3250 FW update problems

Whenever i try 2 update the NSU goes to step 2 and stops it never identifies my phone. Anybody know y this is? pls help!!

Nokia 3250 Bass Boost Problems

I got myself a Nokia 3250 Xpress Music. Well the main reason i bought the phone was it being advertised as a symbian and a music phone at the same time, a combo which Nokia's competitors doesn't have.
Well after getting the phone i quickly load up the microSD with plethora of music files for my listening pleasure.At first everything was going on fine but when i turned on the option "Bass Boost" the music playback turned horrible, with sound breaking up and sounding rubbish. I just couldn't believe what was happening.The sound produced is much much worst than what im enjoying on my previous phone which is the Nokia N=Gage which came with "Extra Bass" option and sounded much better.
What i would like to know is whether my phone is default or it is a fact that the "Bass Boost" function is actually not up to the standard.
I'm using the latest firmware which is 4.14.

Nokia 3250 software update problems

i have a nokia 3250. i wanted to update my phone and i downloaded the updater from the website. but when i install it to my pc it says vbscript missing and it says fatal installtion error. what can i do.
and is it good to upgrade my phone, i mean will i have any notable changes.
the main reason that i want to install it is to be able to install applications which don't work now. for example kaspersky, symantec anti-viruses.

Well, after being advised by Vodafone Customer Service to take it to a Vodafone shop to get it fixed else they will have to take it away for repairs, so I did.
Vodafone staff says, we don't fix, but we can send it away for u.....
So, back to square one.
1. My phone has lost the bottom 2 touch icons due to a phone update
2. So, I tried using Nokia Software Update on my PC, configutation error - Darn!
3. So I use Nokia Ovi Suite - Cannot update - doubledarn!!
Anyone has a [v40.0.003] file for Nokia 5230 that I can download direct onto my PC then copy to my phone for installation?

Nokia 3250: Application/Themes installation proble...

Hi...i recently purchase a Nokia 3250 but I'm facing a problem:any themes/application installed in memory card doesn't work and theme resets after switch-on the handset but if that application is installed in phone memory, it works after switch-on the handset.
I install all the software properly provided by nokia like snake game,themes....by using PC Suite.
I face the problems when i follow the following steps:
Problem 1:
1-I install any software (e.g:snake game) through Application manager (Pc Suit) in memory card.
2-I launch that software (snake game) just after installation it works properly.
3-Now i switch-off the hand set and than switch-on it.
4-I try to launch that software (snake game) again but it doesn't response.
Problem 2:
1:There is a image in my Memory card.
2: I set that image as a wallpaper.
3-Now i switch-off the hand set and than switch-on it.
4-Wallpaper reset to default one.
Problem 3:
1-I install a theme through Application manager (Pc Suit) in memory card.
2: I apply that theme in my hand set.
3-Now i switch-off the hand set and than switch-on it.
4- Now theme reset to default one.
i want to know is it my handset problem or OS problem....?
plss help....

The 6102 is an S40 (Series 40) 2nd edition phone, and rather old, already as S40 is already at 5th edition (plus various intermediate "feature packs").
I think the 6102 supports themes, then they come in .nth files (not .sis or .sisx, which are for S60/Series 60 phone models) and only when they're created with Nokia Series 40 Theme Studio v1.*. Newer themes created with v2.* of the tool, requires newer phones.

Nokia 6020 problem in the US

Hi.
I have a question regarding the Nokia 6020. I'm going to New York next week and last time I went I couldn't get any reception for my phone. I checked with my operator here(Sweden) and they have assured me that it will work. So what is the problem?
It should work as it is triple band. Is there a configuration that I need to change manually?

What band your company in the USA works with? maybe your cellfone does not have the band, eventhough the cellfone is 3band...

Nokia 3250 damaged - PC suite connection

Hi,
My Nokia 3250 fell down and got totally ruined. the display, the key-nothing working. I tried to retrieve the contacts. But the PC suite isn't connecting to the phone. The phone can be turned on and off (I can hear the sound). I think the problem is the two fold - it is offline and the connectivity driver is asking the mode of conection -PC suite or two other options (i dont remember), either of which I cant correct with these faulty keys and display. Any solutions?
I just want to retrieve the contacts

Error message in me nokia 3250 " UNABLE TO INSTALL...

aoa whenever i install any theme or software to my nokia 3250, it starts installing but at the end it shows message unable to install. what is its reason. how can i solve this problem. plz tell me

Sometimes this message also comes up if some older or similar versions of the software/theme were previously installed and removed. I suspect there are remnants of the previous files which prevent an otherwise normal installation to proceed.
I encountered the same with my wife's 3250 and the only way to get things smooth again is to re-format/hard-reset the phone and format memory card. Luckily, I do this everytime I upgrade the firmware of the 3250. =)
