NOKIA 3250 THEMES PROBLEMS

HI EVERYONE......
KINDLY I WANT ANYONE KNOW HOW TO GET THEMES FOR NOKIA 3250, BECAUSE ALL THEMES I ALREADY DOWNLOAD IT WITH (.SIS) EXTENSION DOESNT INSTALLED ON MY PHONE , AND I TRIED MANY WEBSITE , BUT MANY OF THEM DOESNT SUPPORT 3250 THEMES,, PLEASE I WANT SOME HELP TO MANAGE THIS PROBLEM,AND IS THERE NEW FILES WITH DIFFERENT EXTENSIONS RATHER THAN (.SIS).

Nokia 3250 Themes

Hi, I have a Nokia 3250 and purchased a DVD from E-Bay with a load of themes on it which specifies it is for Nokia 3250 Series 60 Version 3 phone, but when trying to transfer the Theme to my phone either via Bluetooth or USB or PC Csuite my phone keeps saying .SIS File Type not recognised?
Can anyone assist me in trying to get these themes on to my phone, any help would be appreciated. Thanks Dale

Nokia 3250 messenging problems????

Hi, I have a nokia 3250, and the phone generally works fine!!! however when i send or reply to a txt message it literally takes about 4-5mins to actually send. It just displays SENDING screen. Can anybody help me figure this problem out.

3250 theme problem!!

i've installed a theme on my 3250.
it worked great untill i turned my phone off and on.
When i turn my phone on it give's a problem alert.
first it says:
aplication closed: standby
second:
Can't do selfcheck, please contact (someone with knowlegde of the phone, where u bought the phone or nokia service center or something like that) Sorry i don't know how to say it in english
does somebody knows what's wrong??

Sounds like the theme has totally messed up your phone.
I would attempt to reformat - you will loose everything saved on the phone memory including the theme that is causing the problem
To do this, switch off the phone and as it starts (before the handshake) press * (star), 3 and the green call key.
If this doesnt work you might have to go to a repair centre.

Nokia 6080 Theme Problem

Hey guys, ive got a nokia 6080 and am having a problem with the theme. When I first used the phone there was no theme selected by default and when browsing through the menu system there was subsequently no graphic or picture behind the menu. I obviously started playing with the phone and selected a theme from the 2 that were already on it. But now I dont want the theme anymore as ive set a different default wallpaper anyway. Here lies the problem. I cannot seem to find a way of unselecting a theme. I have to have one of the two that were on there. So now I have set my wallpaper, I still have other settings from the theme like the image behind the menu when im navigating through it. Is there a way to remove or unselect the theme in use? or am I now forced to use one of the themes that was on the phone at the time of purchase?

Sorry, but is it lawful for you here to show any link to a "blank" theme? i've deleted the Nokia theme by mistake and the only one i do have now - is City. And i don't like it very much. And i read somewhere here in other threads that nobody can share here with Nokia theme as it is copyrighted.

Nokia 5610 theme problem.

"Hey to help everyone with the memory card going to default problem. It happens when you take the backcover off the phone, because if u look closely at the underside of the back cover, you will see that the metal framing around the camera and flash also acts as a connector for the MMC completing the circuit - there is a connector on the camera side and another on the flash side. So if you take the backcover off the phone while in use, you actually disconnect the memory card by breaking the circuit and thus any ringtones or wallpapers that you have set from the memory card goes back to default. Nokia 6670 theme problem

hi i have an 6670 and i download the software carbide theme studio s60 to create a theme everyting goes well until i download the theme to my cellphone and i notice that the higlits didn't work, i read in other forums that its because the nokia 6670 can't use animated higlights and they said that i should disable those but i can't find how to disable those.

Nokia N91 Themes Problem

1) my N91 don't show more than 15 themes in themes menu...if i have 15 themes and if i install another new theme, my N91 show 15 themes too and one of first 15 themes dissapear and appear this new theme...is this a problem for all n91 devices? my sw: 2.10.013...but i think that this problem was and on version 2.00...any solutions?
2) i can't find in application manager all themes which are on my N91. How can i remove themes which don't appear in aplication manager?
Can anyoane which is the theme folder on my hdd? I think this will help me to remove themes which not appear in application manager.
PS: all my themes are on the hdd.

In order to have several themes you must do the following for each theme you want to install:
1) Connect the phone via USB to your PC in data transfer mode
2) Locate the following folder in your Mini SD Card: \Private\10207114\import
3) Copy all the inside folders to your hard drive
4) Switch to PC-Suite mode in your USB Connection
5) Install your desired theme
6) Select your theme on the phone
7) Switch to Data Transfer mode in your USB Connection
8) Copy all the folders from your previous backup to the following folder on your SD Card: \Private\10207114\import
9) Do not replace the folders that already exists on the phone
10) Switch to PC-Suite mode and enjoy your theme!
Inside the directory "\Private\10207114\import" the themes are stored, try always to store them in the Mini SD Card. Somehow the phone operating system deletes folders on that directory when installing a new theme, but backing up them before the installation of a new theme and restoring that information after the installation this problem is covered.

Nokia 3250 camera problems

im having bother with my camera on my 3250. basically when i swivel the bottom part it switches to the camera mode but there is no view finder display, its just diplaying the wallpaper. it randomly does this, more frequesntyl than not, and even when it does show the view finder, it freezes etc and looks pretty grainy etc.
any ideas folks?

just a wee update on my problem. took it to a dealer who flashed the software in a bid to fix the problem. after 3 seperate attempts, none of which worked, the phone has now been sent away for further investigation so we'll see what they say. i hope i get a fault report back with it.

Nokia 5000 themes problem

Why the wallpaper for every theme I install is cut from the top (The place where the clock is) and bottom (The place of the softkeys)? and how can I fix that?

Thats how it is mate, if you want a full screen wallpaper then you will have to make a theme with wallpaper/image you have.

Can,t send sms with nokia 3250

please help.i am failing to send an sms with my nokia 3250.the problem only started recently but i was able to send sms before.if i send an sms it will say resend at maybe 3 to 4 minutes later. when the time comes it will say unable to send message. i installed sms accelerator but nothing changed. i verified the message center number but i still have the problem.pliz help me.

Hi,
Check the "Message validity" for the period that you
have set for resending messages. If it's short, set
it to "Maximum time". This will enable the Message
center to keep resending the mesages.

Nokia 3250: Application/Themes installation proble...

Hi...i recently purchase a Nokia 3250 but I'm facing a problem:any themes/application installed in memory card doesn't work and theme resets after switch-on the handset but if that application is installed in phone memory, it works after switch-on the handset.
I install all the software properly provided by nokia like snake game,themes....by using PC Suite.
I face the problems when i follow the following steps:
Problem 1:
1-I install any software (e.g:snake game) through Application manager (Pc Suit) in memory card.
2-I launch that software (snake game) just after installation it works properly.
3-Now i switch-off the hand set and than switch-on it.
4-I try to launch that software (snake game) again but it doesn't response.
Problem 2:
1:There is a image in my Memory card.
2: I set that image as a wallpaper.
3-Now i switch-off the hand set and than switch-on it.
4-Wallpaper reset to default one.
Problem 3:
1-I install a theme through Application manager (Pc Suit) in memory card.
2: I apply that theme in my hand set.
3-Now i switch-off the hand set and than switch-on it.
4- Now theme reset to default one.
i want to know is it my handset problem or OS problem....?
plss help....

The 6102 is an S40 (Series 40) 2nd edition phone, and rather old, already as S40 is already at 5th edition (plus various intermediate "feature packs").
I think the 6102 supports themes, then they come in .nth files (not .sis or .sisx, which are for S60/Series 60 phone models) and only when they're created with Nokia Series 40 Theme Studio v1.*. Newer themes created with v2.* of the tool, requires newer phones.

I have a problem connecting my Nokia 3250 to my co...

ok, heres the thing. I have a nokia 3250 phone. I tried connecting it to the computer with the usb cable, but there is a problem. it detects the phone and even shows up in pc suite. for like 5 seconds. then it detects sumthing else and a windows baloon pops up saying "Nokia Device Bus connected in non-compatible mode. Change it from UI" and then whr it says "nokia 3250 connected" on pc suite...it says multiple phones connected. Also, before, when I used to actually use this phone alot..i used to connect it to the computer and use it as a modem and use my service providers internet on my computer..but now it says "no modems found" when i try to connect. another problem is, when ever i start pc suite...it asks me to connect to the internet before it can run...and if i cancel that, pc suite crashes. please advice me on this one. thanks.

It is a phone UI issue that you are currently having as answered in your other post but repeated here:
Select Menu> Connect. > Data cbl.. Select what the USB data cable connection is used for: Media player, PC Suite, or Data transfer. To have the device ask the purpose of the connection each time the cable is connected, select Ask on connection.
For Data transfer and Media player connections the phone is in the offline mode, and no incoming or outgoing calls are possible.
After transferring data, ensure that it is safe to unplug the USB data cable from the PC.

Nokia 3250 text messaging problems

Hi I have a Nokia 3250 and have been experiencing problems when send SMS / MMS messages. The first 3250 I had started going funny after a week or so whereby you when you have written your message and clicked for it to send the sending message box would come up but if a button was pressed it would freeze and even if no button was pressed it wold take anything up to a minute to actually send the message and then allow you to carry on using the phone. I was told this may be a software problem and another new handset was sent to me. At first this worked fine but now the phone is only a week old it has started developing the same fautl, although not as bad as the first it still freezes and wont allow anything to be done on the phone until the message gets sent. I have tried the sim card in a Motorola and it works fine (the sim is only 2-months old). Has anyone else experienced this on the 3250????

i just purchased nokia 3250 before 2 weeks and experiemced the same problem as mentioned by you, 1st i ignor it thought may set has slow processing speed as it is with some sets but one of my colleagues has same model and his set is perfactly allright.

i talked with the dealer he said just submit is he will send it to company and reinstall the software or do anyother thing if necessary to solve the problem.

Nokia 3250 FW update problems

Whenever i try 2 update the NSU goes to step 2 and stops it never identifies my phone. Anybody know y this is? pls help!!
