Nokia 5610 XpressMusic Startup Problem..

Hi, I have Nokia 5610 XM startup problem with memory card.. (I tried with 3 different micro SD card also)

If I remove the memory card, then it starts succefully.. And if I plug in back memory card, then phone restarts in 2hours or in calling time... sorry about my English..

it sounds like it could be the memory card connectors or something like that if you say that it works fine without the card in, you might want to take it to nokia care point for them to have a look at this issue.

Almost every time when I power on the phone it's blocked until music player finish updating library.Is there any way to forbid updating library on startup.

1)How can i see myshelf in the 3G camera without calling ? Because I think the 3G camera is damaged ..and i want to see is that working or no..
2)another problem:
if i want to call with 3g camera then it tells "umts connection missing" .. what to do??

U need to subscribe for 3G first,which will enable you to make a video call,in which the front camera is used,so u can see urself...the secondary camera cannot be tested or sumthing like dat...it cam only be used while video calling

Nokia 5610 Xpressmusic Problem

Hey everyone. I have this anoying problem with my Nokia 5610 Xpressmusic. I really need help, I have checked around everywhere on the internet almost and haven't find any answer for my issue. My issue is:
When someone calls me and im pressing "Answer", they can hear me but I can't hear them. I can only hear them if I have the headset inplugged but I can't hear them with that little ear speaker or what should I called it. So please, I beg you before I crash my Nokia, PLEASE HELP ME

Your speaker could be faulty return the device to a nokia care point for inspection it can be fixed.

Nokia 5610 Xpress Music - Problem with Application...

Hi all..
I have a problem in my Nokia 5610 Xpress Music.
I can't access Applications! When I enter an application, a message says:"supportive file. nothing to display". However, I can enter some of the 'Applications' from the 'Go to' button in the stand by screen. My 'Calculator' has disappeared from my Organizer.
If anyone helps to solve this problem, it would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Most of us here are just nokia users like you or anybody else who asks a problem here and seeks a solution.We are not professionals,and only try to help others.
Now, in this present case: For an instance,The calculator has disappeared. It is a part of firmware which cannot be edited.If it was a symbian phone then there was a possibility of developing a patch.But, with s40's the only option you have is to go for an firmware upgrade,if you can do it by yourself then well enough.Otherwise you need to visit the care center where you can get your firmware updated or get a stable firmware which has a calculator.

Nokia 5630 XpressMusic WLAN problem Web: No gatewa...

When I connect to a WLAN network it connects but when I start browsing it says: Web: No gateway reply
My home Wi-Fi is Thomson Gateway TG782...
Can someone tell me what seems to be the problem and how to repare it?
P.S. Have in mind that I'm using Nokia 5630 XpressMusic not the N series....

You have to tell some more about the settings. Is the SSID visible? Are you using a WPA-PSK key? Is the firmware of your AP up-to-date? Are you using MAC filtering? Try to reset the AP.

Nokia 5610 v8.30 Problems!!!!

I bought my Nokia 5610 late last year and haven't updated since. I recently updated my phone from the 1st version which was the version 4.20 or 4.81 (I couldn't remember what the version was) to the new version 8.30.
After I upgraded the phone it was fine for a few days until the screen started going blank for a moment and the screen was upside down. After that it got worst as the phone just went blank and i couldn't turn it on. After a few days my phone turned on but the screen doesn't show anything, it was just blank. I could tell it was only the screen that was the problem because i got a text message.
please, someone help me?
oh and i bought my 5610 from Malaysia and recently just moved to melbourne and upgraded the software in Melbourne.

oh and another thing is that when i connect my phone to my computer using my USB cable it says that my phone is connected but in a non compatible mode

I recently purchased a Nokia 5130 XpressMusic which was locked to the UK network "Tesco Mobile". I paid Tesco to unlock my phone so I could use my O2 SIM in it. They unlocked it and my O2 SIM works fine (calls, texts) but the mobile internet and MMS doesn't work.
I contacted O2 to send me the settings. They emailed instructions as to what I should do and I followed them, however, the phone still will not connect to the internet.
O2 said I should do the following (to set up WAP):

I also used the service ConfirgureMyPhone, where they text you the required settings. This did not work either. O2 used to send you the settings but it is down at the moment so you have to do it manually.
Can anyone help? I can't understand why it's not working! I have entered the settings exactly as the instructions said but no joy...

I have called both O2 and Tesco Mobile for assistance but neither could come up with a solution. I had the O2 settings sent to my mobile, but they still do not work. This suggests to me that it is a problem with the phone's firmware? As the phone was originally locked to Tesco (and then unlocked) i'm thinking maybe that the Tesco firmware is stopping me from using any other internet/mms settings on the phone.. Anyone have any thoughts on this theory?
O2 said it sounded like the Tesco firmware causing trouble. Tesco said that it wasn't the firmware causing the trouble. They said they had never head of Tesco firmware interfering when a user was trying to use other settings.
I'm still totally stuck! I am going to try ringing Tesco (who I originally bought the mobile from) and see if they'll replace the handset with a factory unlocked one (which doesn't have branded firmware on it) as this handset (unlocked, but still has Tesco branding) is causing me huge stress!!

Hi, you will have to visit a Nokia care point with your device and hopefully they will be able to sort out the issues. There isn't really anything we can help you with here other than suggest a consultation at a NCP.
For some other time I suggest you post a better quality picture. I think I can see the two short cuts you refer to, but Its a bit blurry. Looks like the picture has been taken with a calculator or something

i know that the phone supports flash lite player but i m not able to find out how to download it on to my mobile and the website from where i can download the application.....

It is either already built-in (part of the firmware), or it isn't. If it isn't, you can't add/install it.

there are quite many possibilitiesroblems with the loudspeaker or the equilizer wasnt properly tuned..or sometimes things like sounds of the electricity from the battery is heard..visit an autorised repairer would solve your problem~

Nokia 5610 XpressMusic video song play problem

Hello I have purchased the above phone on 02.08.2008 and installed the pc suite.I created a video song folder in the memoy card.When I copy a song with .flv extension format song it says 'the format is not supported'. When the file manager is used to transfer such a video song file it simply did not detect the file.kindly help me

FLV is a video format designed for web use for web sites like Youtube and Myspace, it is not supported by phones except in the case of S60 smartphones with a compatible version of Flash player to view such web sites.
The 5610 is an S40 phone, which cannot support this at all. You will have to find a file converter to make the file into a 3GP, MPEG-4 H264 or MPEG-4 VSP format before transferring it to the phone.

update your firmware and you shouldn't have this problem, i had the same problem as you with v6.60 firmware. Compufixuk is correct, ask your local Nokia care Centre for the latest firmware upgrade
