  • Accidently Deleted files?!

    Hi,
I recently bought a Nokia 6300 and a 2GB Memory Card. I was having difficulties tranfering the 128MB memory cards files to my new 2gb one. I think while i was trying to transfer them, i might've accidently deleted them maybe along with others.
Is there any way of recovering them or can someone who owns a nokia 6300 send the games to me, thanks?!

Have you checked the nokia CD thats usually in the box with the phone?
Quite often games and apps that are pre-installed on the memory card are also on the CD.
If you don't have a CD you could try the nokia link in the phones wap browser, some games are available for free.

  • Urgent!Accidently deleted files anyway to recover th

    Hi all,
While trying to clean up some duplicate/errorneous files and playlists on my Zen Xtra 30gb, I accidently deleted about /3 of the files on my player. Is there any way I can recover them without having to re-rip and transfer them?
I was using Notmad and cleaned out the playlists, since I had quite a few with errors from using other tools to transfer and manage them. I noticed that the playlist index still had a lot of files in it. then I started to delete those, but soon thought about checking if it just deletes pointers or actual files. By the time I stopped it it was /3 through and I would up deleting a bunch of songs.
Help Please!!!Message Edited by Saabster on 02-6-2005 05:52 PM

If you deleted them from the player, rather than the playlist, there isn't really any way of getting them back. Once you delete them, they're gone.
Unless you saved them on your PC when you were ripping them (in the Music Library, check if they're listed there), you'll have to re-rip them.

  • Retrieving accidently deleted files

I accidently deleted all camera pictures in my Blackberry Q10, It's there any ways to recover them?

Also, I notice you have your phone number listed in your profile. It is unwise to post your phone number there for all the Internet world to see and possibly harvest for spam use. At the top of the page click on My Settings and go to personal information and remove your phone number.

  • Nokia Lifeblog - Unable to open file error

    Hi all
Im using Nokia lifeblog on my Nokia N70. While it works fine, I have a lot of text and pic message entries in my lifeblog view which when i try to open give a message sayin "unable to open file, delete item??
I was wondering why this happens.
Any help would be much appreciated.
    Thanks

For the benefit of anyone who experiences this error in IIS7, the IUSR_xxx user no longer exists. You must grant permissions to "IIS APPPOOL\hfmAppPool" instead (select the local machine as the "Location" if Windows Explorer complains).
Similarly, for the benefit of those who get the error in HFM 11.1.2.1, security must be applied to the Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\product\FinancialManagement\Web folder.

  • HT1766 If I have accidently deleted my music files from iTunes on my PC laptop, can I get them back from my iPad which was synced just before I deleted all the files?

I accidently deletes all my music files from iTunes on my PC laptop. Can I get them back using my iPad mini Retina that was synced just before I deleted the files? I am a bit old fashioned, so all of my music has been imported from my CD,s, not purchased from iTunes store. I could re-import, but almost 5,000 songs. Especially when they are sitting there on the iPad.

Yes, if they were purchased from iTunes.  If they were CD's you copied to your iTunes library, then synced to your iPad, you may be forced to redownload the CDs again.
Connect your iPad to your computer via USB and with iTunes open wait for your iPad to recognized on the left side of the iTunes screen.  Right click your iPad once and a dialog box will apear.  Choose Transfer Purchases and the music apps, etc., you purchased will transfer to your iTunes library on your computer.

  • Credit Card Error file accidently deleted from system.

    Hi Experts,
I have a situation were all the error credit card will be stored in PRCCE transaction code. Once we have rectified the error in PRCCE, we need to run PRCCF to generate the file.
Once this file is generated from PRCCF, error entries in PRCCE will be removed. Now Accidently this file, which was generated from the PRCCF has been deleted from the system. We could not trace  this file in the system at all.
How can we over come all the correct trip ? Is there any other way to generate the file again?
    Please advice.
    Regards,
    Raziq Fareed.

Apple is not being sneaky. You are just uninformed about how things work in the iTunes and Mac App Stores. Nowhere did you read anything to lead you to believe that your bank card information would be discarded after the first use. That is something that you made up in your head.
The tax situation in the USA is different than most other countries. Here in Mexico, as well as many other countries, there is a federally mandated tax of a given percent of the purchase. That tax is nationwide, so wherever I may live in Mexico the tax is the same. That is not true in the USA. Every state and even every city can levy its own tax on the sale, so the price of an item plus the tax will be a slightly different total everywhere you buy the item. For that reason the prices in the MAS do not have the tax included. The tax is added at check out when it is established where you are located and the tax for your location is applied.
The reason that Apple expects that you will repurchase the app with the gift card is because Apple is expecting you to be honest. You were ignorant of how to correctly redeem a gift card and the system charged your bank card on file. Apple has credited the charge to your bank card because you have complained about your own ignorance of how the system actually works. Apple expects that as an honest person you will delete the app for which you have been reimbursed. Apple expects that if you still wish to have the app that you will properly redeem the gift card and purchase the app.
So at this point, the real question is - Are you an honest person?

  • Accidently deleted capture scratch files

    Hello All,
In my effort to be tidy, and not understanding the FCP system, I accidently deleted Capture Scratch footage. Now I have clips with the red line through them, and "reconnect media" does nothing. Any hope, or just the school of hard knocks?
    Thanks.

I think you'll not reuse a tape in your life again, right?
Now you can try with some kind of application to recover deleted files from your system. Hal pointed to one application in this thread:

    Hope that helps !

  • Accidently deleted both my itunes library files

I accidently deleted both my itunes library files and because I restored them back from my recycle bin I seem to have managed to overwrite them with empty files, I still have all my music files that i can import back in to my itunes but how do i get my playlists back? The only place they are stored is on my ipod. I have never been able to do a backup becuse you have to do one to disk and don't seem to have the option to back up to a hard drive and since havn't found any disks that store 160gb i haven't ever been able to backup itunes.  I have a portable hard drive and have all my music backed up to it but not a backup that contains the playlists, does anyone know how to get them back

Each time you restart iTunes it assumes that all the tracks are where it thinks they are. The exclamation marks only show up if iTunes attempts to do something with the files and cannot find them.
Possible causes are that you or some third party tool like WIndows Media Player have moved, renamed or deleted the files, or that the drive they live on has changed drive letters. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout,or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you might be able to reconnect iTunes to them using my FindTracks script. To start with test it out on a handful of tracks that show up as missing in action. If it can find & repair the links to those throw larger selections at it until everything is connected.

Do you have a backup of your iPhone?   If so, do a restore and whatever Notes were backed up should reappear.
You will lose any changes made since that backup though.

I'm assuming you don't have backups?  If that's correct, read this:
    Recovering deleted files
If not, just restore from your backup.
