Nokia N72 Front Panel Shield Glass Broken

My Nokia N72 Front Panel Shield Glass Broken.
Could you please advice how it can be repaired & how much it should cost me for an original shield at Nokia Care center in Pune, India.

Only that Nokia Service centres/Priority Dealers in India are all third party private dealers and charge a bomb for a simple service or spare part.
I had a screen for a Nokia 2865 replaced some time back in a local mobile phone service centre and the price of doing the same in an authorised centre was 5 or 6 times higher than that.
Nokia wants to fleece customers by not giving them basic information about how customers can service their mobiles themselves. By the way, please mail me in case anybody has a service manual for a 2865 mobile.

Hi,I want to replace my front panel of the phone, because it
's got a little scratch, which can be very hardly seen.
However, how much would a front panel cost in EUR or $.

I think it'll be not less than 13$ and not more than 25$ ..
I think it's depending where you are .. the price in europe is not the same in Africa and so on ..

  • I created boolean references in my main vi block diagram and copied them to my sub vi front panel. when wire my reference in my main vi to one the input node of the sub vi the wire is broken. the error says its a class conflict why?

    Expanding and clarifying what BJD said;
After you create the temporary sub-VI that BJD mentioned, open its front panel and copy the reference control that LV created when it created the sub-VI.
This reference control will be correct class etc that you need. Use the control to replace the original control that you were attempting to wire up.
The technique of "create sub-VI...copy" always works for me.
There is one more thing that you should watch out for.
The mechanical action of the boolean can not be set for latch action when attempting to read the value using a value property node.

  • Is the iPhone 4 front panel made of glass or plastic

Is the iPhone 4 front panel made of glass or plastic?

    Glass.
The internal components are situated between two panels of aluminosilicate glass, described by Apple as being "chemically strengthened to be 20 times stiffer and 30 times harder than plastic," theoretically allowing it to be more scratch resistant and durable than the prior models.[9]

You'll have to get it serviced by Apple, you'll have to pay for the replacement device:
Apple - Support - iPod - Repair pricing
Apple - Support - Service Answer Center
You can also search for a 3rd party repair company in the Internet.

  • X-Fi Titanium Championship Series - Front Panel Broken?

7X-Fi Titanium Championship Series - Front Panel Broken?K Initially, the front panel worked just fine - approximately one week. Sound quality was great, too!
However, after gaming, I removed the headphones from the front panel headphone jack. I noticed after that the panel lights indicating Game Mode and X-Fi functions went blank.
    - I pressed the buttons and they would not relight.
    - I plugged the headphones back into the panel and I still received volume (good quality); however, I no longer could control the volume level using the rotary knob.
    - The buttons still would not relight. Additionally, the front panel no longer recognizes when I have headphones plugged into the jack.
It seems like a hardware issue, but maybe someone else has heard of this happening.
    Please help!!!!!
    With many thanks

  • IPhone 4S broken front and back glass with AppleCare

What can apple store do for unlocked  4s under AppleCare with cracked front and back glass?

They can replace your phone for $199. Standard AppleCare does not cover accidental damage at all. On the plus side, your AppleCare policy will carry over to the replacement phone.

  • Front panel assembly in Germany?

To repair an iPhone 3G with broken glass, I am looking for a replacement front panel assembly:
    http://www.ifixit.com/iPhone-Parts/iPhone-3G-Front-Panel-Assembly/IF137-010
However, delivery to Germany is quite expensive, and there are plenty of shops which offer the assembly cheaper. I just don't know:
Are there any differences in quality to look out for? What shop do you recommend in Germany? Or is iFixit worth the extra price?

The most important thing to look out for is that the replacement part is genuine OEM or meets OEM specs. Many cheap replacement parts don't, and will generate error messages(like hardware failure) if you try and restore or update software, or even power the phone on. iFixit is well respected. Here's another alternative:

Sorry, don't know of any suppliers In Germany, but would suspect that there are. Ask about being OEM or meeting OEM specs.

  • Front panel of my Audigy 2 won't w

My front panel on my Audigy 2 won't work. I recently had to replace my motherboard and it won't work since then. It worked fine before. The mixer panel won't even give me the option of Line 2 and Auxilliary in, and my headphone jack won't work either. I don't think they're even getting power, though I'm not sure. I took the optical plug out to see if there was a red light showing, and there wasn't. The inputs and outputs from the back are operational.
I've read other threads on this and none of the solutions there have worked. I've re-connected cables, uninstalled and reinstalled hardware, and software. Still nothing. Only inputs from the back work. I recently had to replace my motherboard. I've tried updating drivers - nothing.
My motherboard is a GIGABYTE GA-K8NSC-939 Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce3 250Gb ATX AMD Motherboard. My processor is AMD Athlon 64 3000+ Venice GHz FSB 52KB L2 Cache Socket 939 Processor. I run Windows XP with both service packs installed (same as with my old motherboard).
    Is my card broken?

There should be a light from the optical output as long as there is power to the dri've. Perhaps switch the power cable on that dri've with the cable that goes to your floppy, to see if that helps (in case the cable is faulty). It's possible otherwise that the dri've itself is broken.

  • Dynamic cluster/array follow up question - front panel

Thanks for the responses to my last question - they were great and fast!
I'm still stumped on how to create the front panel. It doesn't really matter whether it is an array or cluster. It sounds like either way, once I have it I can autoindex through it. The basic application here is that I have a VI that will store one XY plot to our database. I'd like to wrap that in a VI that will take N XY plots and store them all in our database regardless of what N actually is. So in terms of creating the front panel, I tried to create an array control and drop a XY graph in it, but it doesn't seem to like that. It said that I hadn't added an element to the array. I also tried to drop a XY graph into a cluster control and that cleared the broken run arrow, but wouldn't I have to know how many XY graphs are being passed in? It seems like I'd have to put one graph in the cluster control for each graph coming which defeats my purpose? Remember I won't know how many XY graphs are coming into my VI in the array or cluster. Anybody know how I can set up the front panel?
Again thanks for the quick replies!!!
    Best Regards,
    Steve

    Look at the attached VI.
It has a single XY graph inside a cluster container, and that is inside an array container.
With this setup, it wouldn't matter how many graphs you pass to the subVI since it's an array, it will take whatever is passed to it.

Using the Abort button to stop your VI is like using a tree to stop your car. It works, but there may be consequences.

  • Why do I get "error code 3: Could not load front panel" when I run my executable.

I have a LV 8.5 VI that controls only an agilent spectum analyzer. The agilent VIs call DLLs rather than SCPI commands. I created an application and an installer to load on a non LV machine and ran setup which was successful. When I run the EXE I get "error code 3: Could not load front panel" for each of my agilent spectrum analyzer VIs. I have to click "OK" about ten times, once for each VI. (My executable runs fine on all machines that have labview 8.5) The front panel does load with a broken arrow. The errors listed when the arrow is clicked for all of the Agilent VIs state: Missing subVI AGE444xInitialize.VI (or close.VI or read.VI etc.)
There is an AGE444x32.DLL in the data folder with the EXE file so I included as support both the DLL and all of the agilent drivers in the application build. Still no luck. I have built the application and installer about 6 times in various forms. I NEED AIR SUPPORT.
Unfortunately I do not have access to the internet at my jobsite so bear with me.
    Rob

    Hi V-rob,
I'm glad to hear the executable is working now that NI-VISA is installed.  Thanks for posting the solution!

  • Remote Front Panel Problem

    Hi
I am using a TAB control in a VI that is published as Remote Frontpanel.
When changing TAB the controls are often grayed out in the browser even when they are not in the running LabVIEW VI !
A Combo box may also contain the apps default values instead of the values from the running VI !
Any hints to solve this ?
I have login/logout in my application, and i need to auto logout when the last Remote Front Panel User disconnects.
How do I detect that there is no listeners/clients ?
The "connection manager.vi" is password protected, so i can't get any hints from there !
    Best Regards
    Teddy

I see thank you. Very funny because i thought i had to do something with duplicating the real time target.
So regarding the above problem, is there any way to be connected remotely to the target and when the link is broken to reconnect without affecting the operation of the VI running?
For example, lets assume we connect to a remote front panel which has a simple VI with just a 1 second period timed loop running and for each iteration of the loop i monitor and i save the index of the loop. When i connect to the VI i request control and i click run. The VI starts running. After one minute, at loop iteration 60 the link between the host and the target breaks. The VI should continue running.
After 1 minute of broken link the network is again available.
What can i do to re-establish connection without affecting the VI operation and continue monitoring the VI. If reconnecting after 1 minute i will be expecting to see the loop iteration to be 120 and keep running. Is there any way to do this?

  • How to find VI's connected terminals when controls are hidden on the front panel?

When working with a sub-VI which has terminals connected to hidden controls is there a straight-forward way to find the terminals on the block diagram?
I click on the terminal and an outline appears on the front panel but when I try to click on that outline I can not unhide the control.
The only way I have discovered to find the terminal of the connected control is just check each terminal on the block diagram which looks like it might be connected.
    I'm using LV7.1 but also use 8.5.
    Thanks,
    Davey

If I understood the premise of the question it sounds like you have controls/indicators wired to the VI connector pane, but for some reason these controls/indicators are hidden. If this is a VI you wrote slap yourself. If this is a VI someone else wrote, go slap them.
One way that you can find the terminals on the block diagram by performing a search by text. The context help will show you the names of the controls/indicators. The only problem with this approach is that if the control/indicator has the caption visible rather than the label, then the context help will show the caption, not the label.
Another method is to use scripting. Not sure if it's worth the effort for just one VI, though.
Before we get all slap-happy I have to ask...
If I have a sub-VI which is set for Print on completion and the controls in/out for the icon connector are NOT supposed to show up on the final report, isn't setting those objects as hidden a viable option?
    Ben
Well, of course, Ben. My comment was not meant to be taken seriously... hence the smiley happy icon. To respond to your question in a more serious matter, though, there's always exceptions to rules. That's why they're rules - they're meant to be broken. Otherwise they wouldn't be rules. It's a strange state of the universe, isn't it? Although, one could probably just place the control behind another object. That sort of hides it, doesn't it?

  • How do I create tabs on front panels

Hi everyone. I want to create multiple front panels on the same project. How do I go about this?
Also, I needed to analyze noise from a thermocouple signal in terms of Probability  Density Function and power spectral density and I don't have a clue yet. Any body any useful info should pls reply.
    Thanks.

    Well said Lynn..
I do realize that the discussion has moved away from the original topic
Are you trying to resolve a problem that would normally be solved using signal conditioning?
Are you seeing artifacts from 50/60Hz ?
Did you mention what your thermocouples were connected to or in proximity of?  ie: do you need shielding?
