Nokia Suite 3.2.100 + Bluetooth == No connection
So I installed the Nokia Suite 3.2.100 on a computer with Windows 7 64-bit. The computer is running an Atheros 3100 series bluetooth adapter.
When I try to add a new device (tried E6-00 and N8-00) via Bluetooth here's what happens-
1. Nokia Suite finds the phone without any problems.
2. Pairing starts. Nokia suite displays a passcode to pair the phone.
3. I accept the pairing request on the phone
4. Windows starts to add the phone and all the different profiles/accessories on the phone. Nokia Suite displays the passcode page.
5. After all the devices are added, Nokia Suite says "failed to connect to device"
The same phones can connect over the USB cable and other bluetooth devices can connect to the computer without any problems. So what's going wrong here?
I had a similar problem once before on a different computer after upgrading my N8-00 to Symbian Anna. I had to hard reset the phone to get the bluetooth working again. I hope that's not what's needed once again!

Solved. I updated the driver for the bluetooth stack. The driver was not found on the computer manufacturer's site. I had to hunt it down on the Internet. The drivers themselves are WHQL/Win7 certified.

I updated mu Nokia Ovi Suite to Nokia Suite 3.2.100 . It installs just fine. I can connect my N8 to my laptop. But when I hit the Software Updates tab i get the message "Something has gone wrong" stating that some files are missing and I should remove the Nokia Suite and do a reïnstall. I've done so three times by now. Even deleted everything "Nokia" off my laptop, even cleaned the register of all Nokia referred items. It reïnstalls fine everytime. But the Software Updates tab keeps failing.
When my N8 is not connected, I do not get the error.
My N8 is running Anna and there ate mo updates available (wifi). My laptop is running Vista Ultimate and is up to date with all Microsoft updates.
My previous Nokia Ovi Suite was running smoothly.
Who can help me?Here are the error messages in windows event log, I am using windows 7, 64 bit and the older version of ovi suite worked like a charm with my C7.

After on computer (windows XP Pro SP3) I've updated the Suite, to newest 3.2.100 version - it does not see/connect/recognize my phone via USB. Previous version worked just fine. I have on phone also latest Symbian Anna 022.014.258.03
Using phone as modem with modem software works, but Nokia suite does not recognize phone.
Where is the problem?

Then don't remember model, then E50 (mostly happy), then N97 mini - phone with briliant keyboard, but poor touchscreen, then business phone E07, phone that can not make a photo of contract, invoice or business card. poor design of usb port and 5 months at service did it - my nowadays phone is Apple. Company gave me Asha 300, so frustrating, that I use my old E50 instead...Changed absolutely nothing!
Nokia PC Internet Access works, nearly fine. I'm using now it instead of Suite.
Why this utility sees the phone, but Suite doesn't?
Even if with Internet Access utility I'm connected to internet Nokia Suite says - there is no Internet connection??? And despite connected to internet VIA US the mobile - still writing - Connect device???

Nokia suite does not recognize my Internet connect...
My Nokia Suite doesn't recognize the Internet Connection available with my desktop. Though I'm able to access the internet, my suite says "No Internet Connection Available". Any pointers to resolve this?? Plz help

Nokia Suite 3.2.100 Contact backup
I am using Nokia Suite 3.2.100. Is there any way I can save my contacts from phone as csv file or as individual contacts (vcf) file? Earlier version, it was storing contacts in mdb file, now in which format and where the files are stored in the system ? I am not instrested to put my backup on internet.
Have u tried copying them to a notepad file from the Nokia Suite directly instead of the folders in ur installed files?

My current firmware on the phone is: 200.21.012, RM-450, Nokia E63-3 (253.05)
Nokia Suite tells me there is an update for this phone but when i get to the stage of: 'Preparing to download'
It says:
Something's gone wrong.
There was a problem with Nokia suite. Please restart the program and try again. If the problem doesn't go away, uinstall Nokia Suite and download the latest version of the app from www.nokia.com/ovisuite. Error code: 12017
Anyway this is the latest version (currently available)
I have uninstalled it throughly removing EVERYTHING containing to word 'Nokia' from the registry.
Yet still i am getting this error.
Have already tried this method too:

Thanks.I finally have had my e63-3 RM450 product code (0583677 - Three Network Australia) updated from 200.21.012 (253.05) to system 411.21.001 (253.07). This was done at the Nokia Care Centre in Melbourne under warranty .
I was unable to upgrade using Nokia Suite 3.2 - even though it identified the correct 411.21.001 update as required. Nokia Suite mis-identified the phone as an RM-437 rather than an RM-450. I supplied the logs to Nokia Suite feedback and noted that I had SIM unlocked the phone from the Three Network. Nokia Suite feedback's response was to accuse me of flashing the phone with a new product code as part of the unlocking process - thus causing Nokia Suite to confuse the RM450 with a RM 437. In response I advised them that the phone had been unlocked using a code supplied by the Network operator Three/Vodafone Australia. I then attended the Nokia Care Centre in Melbourne to ensure that the phone carried the product code on the sticker - which it did. I provided the Nokia Care Centre with the email correspondence with Nokia Suite Feedback and the Melbourne team agreed to update the software under warranty.
There are later software updates available for the Nokia e63-3 - but these do not yet have Three/Vodafone Australia authorisation. That is an argument to take up with the Network owner who controls the authorisation of firmware updates for product code 0583677.
I note that the latest Nokia Suite 3.3.86 still misidentifies the phone as an RM437 instead of an RM 450.
On a final note - once updated to 411.21.001 - Skype would no longer automatically install from the website - it simply said Skype was not available for this handset. However, manual installation of Skype 1.5 was possible using the non-touch version for Symbian and works well.
Nokia Suite continues to have a problem with this model of phone.

I did not get it in the past with PC Suite.
There were rumors the PC Suite comes back to solve the problems ovi suite brought.

Just upgraded my Thunderbird to version 8.0 and contacts synching stop working with error code 83950003. It was working fine with TB 7.0.1.
Any timeline as to when a solution or fix is available.

Well I have used Thunderbird during a lot of years on some computers and Nokia has been the only only one with support.
I think there is time to understand that Thunderbird is only good as an email client for example IMAP accounts and of course exchange accounts.
You people should really take a look at Microsoft Office 365 (USD 6 per month) http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/office365/online-software.aspx
if you syncing several computers and phones and don´t want problems with contacts, calender and perhaps even todo and notes.
Thunderbird is a mess when transfering accounts from a computer to another computer if not Imap and messages saved on server...l but I still like Thunderbird as an email client on computers for exchange accounts that is in-the air with backup by exchange.
I dont expect Nokia to continue supporting Thunerbird in the future as no one else does it....Not even Funambol does it..
Another thing, during the last few years there seem to be rather small development to get the Thunderbirds calender, notes to be a real choice...I think for example Zimbra (www.zimbra.com) is far better than thunderbird as a desktop email client and a half of dozen more...well just some thoughts from me.
I just think Thunderbird during the years always ends up messy and it is still half baked and will never mature...
PS1 When updating Thunderbird you should get a message if it is compatible so why update Thunderbird if Nokia hasn´t updated? DS
PS2 In Q1-2012 all Synbian will have Microsoft Mobile office for free, and that is among the best news for Symbian users in a long time DS

Nokia Suite: Can't connect to Service (Nokia C5-05...
I updated Nokia Suite with the new version 3.4.49 recently and after that I am not able to install any app from Nokia Ovi store. Whenever I click "Download via PC", the Nokia Suite gives the error "Can't connect to service".

How to resolve the issue?

"This problem can be also because of expired certificates that you have on your computer.
To remove the problematic certificates, do the following:
On your computer, open Control Panel and click Internet Options.
In the Internet Properties window, select the Content tab, and click Certificates.
In the Certificates window, select the Trusted Root Certification Authorities tab.
To sort the certificates, click the Expiration Date column header.
Select any GTE CyberTrust certificates that have their expiration date in the past. You should be left with one GTE CyberTrust certificate that is valid.
Click Remove and, when asked for confirmation, click Yes.
After the expired certificates have been removed, please restart Nokia Suite and try signing into your Nokia account again"

Windows 7 Premium x64. Install Nokia Suite 3.2.100. It installs with no errors. Connect 701 via USB cable, more drivers install with no errors. When I tell it to check for updates I et the following message;
"Somethings gone wrong. It seems that some program files of Nokia Suite are missing. To fix this, please uninstall nokia suite and download the latest version of the application ..."
I've done this mulitple times and receive the same message.

What is the Link to Nokia suite for Nokia 503?
I recently bought a Nokia Ash 503 mobile phone and i want to connect the phone with my PC using Nokia suite. I downloaded and installed the Nokia suite 3.2.100. and your N9 is working with Nokia Suite 3.2.100
Don't forget to disconnect from Internet during installation of 3.0.0.290.
After upgrade to 3.2.100 you can use the Nokia Suite for your N9.
Only one exception: Maps are not supported.
In case the Suite crashes during calendar synchronization with Outlook then just delete the PC-SYNC calendar on your N9 and try it again. It should work now.

I just get my brand new N9.
But i have some troubles to sinc with de Nokia Suite 3.2.100. it saids that "Nokia do not admit my device"
at the other hand...i aleready have my OVI account, but when i try to login at my N9, it´s doesn´t work....
any advice, suggestions?The N9 is not currently compatible with Ovi Suite. You can synchrinse your contacts, messages etc. directly from your old device usint the Sync feature in your N9,see Settings>Sync and backup>Sync.
You can also easily sync music, video and images using Nokia Link which you can download from http://europe.nokia.com/support/product-support/n9/software

Nokia Suite crash when syncing videos
Hi,
I recently installed Nokia Suite 3.2.100 and experienced some problems:
While trying to import videos that were on computer from my E52, by adding a watch folder, Nokia Suite stopped working.
Even if I tried to sync some new videos from my E52 (with most recent SW), the application crashed.
If the former version of Ovi Suite is installed, I can sync videos normally.
Is there something I can do, to be able to use the new Nokia suite without crashing?
My OS is 64bit Win7
