NONE of the submit buttons work anymore!!!!!
I don't believe this!
Yesterday I was working on page zero, which now has a searchfield, a radiobutton and a search button, but no branch because this is not possible.
When you press the search button, the query goes to a different page and shows the results (I used an Iframe to show the results on the regular ultra search page), but for the search button to work on every page, every page needs the same branch, which checks if the search button has been pressed, and then branches to the right page.
After I did that I went to bed and this morning I find out that NONE of my forms can save their data anymore!!!!!
Some of the forms simply submit and show old data, some of the forms give me this error:
ORA-20001: Error in DML: p_rowid=129, p_alt_rowid=ID, p_rowid2=, p_alt_rowid2=. ORA-01747: invalid user.table.column, table.column, or column specification
I really need help on this, I am supposed to deliver this week and now everything is broken.
What I want to know is what can be a reason for a form to submit with a submit button, pretend it is saving and after that show the old data without showing an error?
If there was an error message I could start looking for answers but right now I have nothing.....
Sorry for posting this twice I was refreshing the wrong page and I did not see it appear, so I wasn't sure I posted it or not

When I try to use the Submit Form button on the Interactive PDF I created (In Design CS6), I get this message:
There is no value in form field "Program." Please put in it before proceeding.
How can I fix this and make the Submit Form button work? Are you running modified software on your phone? This error seems to be common if the firmware has been modified and you're trying to restore the phone again.

Vado gen 1 will power on but none of the control buttons work
Hello, I am having an issue with my vado, had it for a couple years, but now none of the buttons that control the unit work or respond. To get it to turn on I have to take out the battery and it powers up but that is it. Any ideas or is it time to move on to a new one? Hate to loose it but it is a couple years old. Thanks.
Hi,

I have a cloud license but am not able to upgrade Story Free to the Plus version for some reason. In any case I cannot add images to my multi column script because the add image button is grayed out. Any ideas would be welcome.
You should be able to go to https://creative.adobe.com/redeem, sign in and enter the code.

None of the exterior buttons are working...
I recently replaced my screen and digitizer. Everything was still functioning well, even with the cracked screen. I opted to replace both screen and digitizer, since it appears to be quite the process to transfer the old digitizer to the new glass only. I also at this time, since I have one of the first waves of iPhone 5 (had it from day 1 of its release) decided to replace the wi-fi antenna, since I was already pulling the phone apart anyways. After performing what I feel to be a very successful replacement of both the wi-fi antenna and the screen/digitizer, none the side buttons work anymore! I have triple checked to make sure all ribbons are in place and everything appears to be in good order. I was very careful with the whole process, so can't imagine that anything was damaged. But now, the sleep/wake button, the mute slider button and neither of the volume buttons ( + or - ) work. I am assuming that all these function via different cables and/or contact points...? What could be the issue here?
Since the iPhone should not be opened or repaired by the user or another 3rd party without loosing the warranty or the Out-Of-Warranty Service option, we can only speculate, that one of the repair steps you took is the reason for the problems.
The only solution would be seeking help from a 3rd party repair shop and hope that they will be able to solve the issue. -
Email Submit button works in Acrobat but not Reader
I have a form with an email submit button. When those who have Adobe Reader click on the Submit button, nothing happens. For the users with Acrobat, the submit button works as designed. The users all have the latest version of Reader, Java and Flash. When the Acrobat users click the button a box appears asking them to select Desktop or Internet email. Once they make a selection, the form is sent. When the Reader users click the button nothing happens. I'm sure there must be a setting somewhere that I need to adjust. Can you help me?
Hi Susan,
I appreciate we have meandered through this, but bear with us...
Here is a screen shot of a regular button set up to return the completed form as a PDF.
Now if you deploy this form WITHOUT Reader Enabling the form, then users with Reader will see this warning:
However before you deploy the form open it in Acrobat and go to the Advanced menu (in version 9) and select "Extend features in Acrobat Reader" and save the form with an amended name. Then send this new "Reader extended" form out to the users with Reader and they will be able to return the completed PDF.
Without seeing the actual form it is difficult to work out how the submit button is set up.
Hope that helps,

The Submit button does nothing. How can this problem be corrected?
I have seen numerous postings stating that a Submit button on an XFA form will not work. I believe this may be a widespread problem.
The symptoms are as follows:
1. The form is a Designer form (sometimes referred to as an "XFA form") that contains either an HTTP Submit or an Email Submit button.
2. The Submit button works fine if the user has Adobe Professional (bundle of products incluting Acrobat and LifeCycle Designer) installed.
3. The Submit button does not work if the user only has the Adobe Reader installed.
Our users first reported this problem in October, and we have been attempting to determine what changed in our system to make this happen.
The forms were created using Designer version 9.
On Windows 7 and Windows XP test PCs we have tried various versions of the Reader X and get the same results with all of them.
We primarily use Internet Explorer as a browser.
I will admit that I have not read all of the release notes for all versions of Reader X. And I am not even sure if this is a Reader problem.
Please let me know if you are having this problem, and, if you have any thoughts on how to solve it I would very much like to hear from you.Since this is a Designer form it may be worth posting in the LiveCycle Designer forum http://forums.adobe.com/community/livecycle/livecycle_modules_and_development_tools/livecy cle_designer_es. What works with Reader versus what works only with Acrobat is not only complicated, but it's different for Designer forms. We have very limited experienced people here for Designer forms, Acrobat forms is our thing.
However, I'm quite sure it isn't broken. The many limitations are by design, to sell more stuff.

Completely stumped on the Submit button
yes, i know this has been asked 20 times, but I've combed through them and still did not find a solution...
Using WDA & LCD 8.0 in a brand new SAP xRPM implementation - this is the first form we're developing on this landscape. The Submit button works on our other Logistics landscape.
I have an interactive form with the following properties:
displayType = native
enabled = X
onSubmit Event = ON_SUBMIT
The Layout = ZCI. I have gone through SFP and clicked on Insert WebDynpro Script as well.
In my Form I placed a Web Dynpro Native Submit button - its control type = Regular. SAP automatically brought in the code:
// DO NOT MODIFY THE CODE BEYOND THIS POINT - 800.20070410093956.383622.376748 - SubmitToSAP.xfo
ContainerFoundation_JS.SendMessageToContainer(event.target, "submit", "", "", "", "");
// END OF DO NOT MODIFY
When I click on the button, it seems as if it's not triggering the event in WDA - I have a breakpoint in the Method but it never gets there.
To make sure the code behind the CLICK is triggering, I put in some javascript to color a text box & it DOES go through the code and color to box however, it seems that there's no communication back to the WDA.
Any ideas? Could it be a service issue?
thanks,
RP.
Edited by: robert phelan on May 14, 2009 3:29 PMFrom the form editor/Livecycle Designer within the SAP GUI (t-code SFP), go to the very TOP menu (not the Livecycle Designer menu)
1. Click "Utilities"
2. Click "Insert Webdynpro Script".
You will see "ContainerFoundation_JS" added to your form. This allows your ZCI form to react appropriately. -

No "Submit to SAP" button, the submit button offered doesn't work
Hello everyone,
I am working with the interactive forms and I have tried going through the PDF about how to use an RFC with the interactive forms. During the tutorial, they say to add a button called "Submit to SAP", but I don't have one. I have groupings for Web Dynpro ActiveX and Web Dynpro Native, but neither of those have a "Submit to SAP" button, only regular submit buttons. I have tried adding these submit buttons, but neither one actually submits my data. When I click on them in the form nothing happens.
I am running NWDS 7.0.10
Thanks for the help,
LoganWe had the same problem and when we installed ACF on the client machine it resolved the problem.
If you are using 04s you can use this link https://sapmats-de.sap-ag.de/download/download.cgi?id=HUU1XMYWJNEKKEXB7EG33N5LBBAXUEP4LBRZXKWFEZHBR74SWY
to download ACF.
Also, does this problem exist even when the Submit button is placed outside the Adobe form?
thanks,

We reconfigured our checkout form and now the submit button doesn't work

Can't get the Submit button to work on Acrobat X
I was having this problem on Acrobat 9 and so I bit the bullet and upgraded, hoping the problem would go away, but it did not.
I have a simple form for an event which recipients will fill out and submit, emailing the entirePDF to others (not to me)
I've done these forms a zillion times, no problemo, but this is the first time I've tried since upgrading from Entourage email to Outlook, and I have a sneaking suspicion the problem lies there somehow.
Can install the button, all fine, but when I click it to test, I get this message:
"An error occured while trying to create a mail document. Acrobat is unable to complete your request."
Anybody know what I can do to fix this?
signed,
DesperateI gave up on the 'Submit' button long ago, as have others, I suspect.
It fails in about half of the cases.
Now I place a note at the top of the form instructing users how to manually attach the form to an email in case the button doesn't work – it's ridiculous. Thinking about it, it would be more clean-cut to get rid of the button alltogether.
I also keep getting requests to provide forms as Word documents instead. Apparently people are way more comfortable with Word than willing to deal with idiosyncrasies in PDFs. -
My eBay pages don’t work properly. There are parts missing. The symbols on the My eBay page have gone. The £ paid sign, checkout, feedback, and probably more.
I can’t list an item, as the submit button has disappeared.
It all works fine on IE. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, but still the same.
How can I regain my missing bits please.
ThanksCan you attach a [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Screenshot screenshot]?
Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed the maximum file size (1 MB).

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

Is it possible to make 9.0 Pro work correctly using the "submit button?"
At one time, I was able to use the submit button after I enabled the Reader option. Today, however, using Acrobat 9.0 Pro, I am unable to get the submit button to work using the PDF option. I keep getting the message "Acrobat unable to connect to your email program." The syntax I'm using is mailto:[email protected] Any clues out there? Thanks for your replies.
This is an e-mail configuration issue on the client machine in most cases, not a PDF issue. In the past, you had to be set for MAPI mail service. This has changed with newer systems and versions of Acrobat, but it still seems to give folks problems. In any case, be sure you have a default e-mail package defined for Windows and check the configuration.
