ok, but in FireFox 2.0 it's all finked up....I don't have Safari so
I have no clue how it looks in that....

Noob in Need of Help: Where can I find a 1Ghz Processor?
Hi, I'm Elaine, I was given a 450Mhz, G4 Gigabit ethernet Tower as payment for some graphics work (yeah, I feel like I got cheated, but that's just me).
Anyhoo, I'm rather fond of mac computers, but I'm finding to do the work I do I need to basically upgrade the processor, RAM, and hard drive and of course, add a TON of software (I'm a writer-filmmaker-animator-graphic novel creator-self publisher).
From what I can figure out from reading the posts here, I could make do with a 1Ghz processor and about 2Gb SDRAM and a 160Gb hard drive. Most of the hardware I can find on ebay, except for the processor.
Someone posted something about a "sonnet" processor, but I couldn't find anything like that.
Could someone PLEASE tell me where I can find an AFFORDABLE processor?
Can I use an AMD processor? Newegg seems to have one that's a single core selling for $33.00 if that's to be believed.

E.Seeing you were given this Mac for payment, and seeing that you're new to Macs, you need to ask yourself if you have the skills needed to do these upgrades as well as whether you want to plunk down a sizeable amount of cash to upgrade a 10 year old Mac that will never perform as well as either a newer model or brand new Mac.
If this is a 450 MHz Gigabit Ethernet model it is probably a dual CPU 450 model. I do not think you can put a single CPU upgrade into a dual processor Mac. I believe you need to stick witwh dual processor CPU upgrades.
AND you cannot use just any CPU chip that would be available for Window PCs.
The CPUs in older Macs are PowerPC CPU processors made by Freescale (formerly Motorola).
Dual processor upgrades will not be cheap!
A company called Other World Computing sells CPU upgrade, but none are very cheap.

Based on what you listed that you would like to do with a Mac, the Mac you were given as payment is really not up to the challenges you want to put this Mac through.
It's just going to get too costly.
The Mac you've been given is just not worth plunking that kind of money into.
I would either try and sell it or recycle it and look at new or newer model Macs with more computing horsepower.
If a new Intel Mac tower or iMac is too expensive for you, my advice would be to give a serious look at the high end Mac Mini. Price to performance ratio is hard to beat and will easily do everything you want to do on a Mac.

Ipod 5g Itunes noob in need of help! Google has nothing for me.
I just bought my ipod touch 5th gen 32gb.
I have itunes on my laptop, and I added a playlist of a custom mp3 file I put in. No official apple product.
I exported it from sony vegas to mp3, and put it in my itunes PC version.
I goto my ipod, because I want to put it on my ipod -- Went to itunes store, (I don't see any plain "itunes" So I assume that's where to go.
There is nothing but "shopping, buy now, listen now" I only want to access my account, goto my playlist, and listen to my music/audio.
Is this possible?
I am signed in through both PC and Ipod. Can I maybe access my ipod hardrive and maunally drag n' drop files directly?Here ya go:

I am a noob and need help. It happens when I run in SLI.
I keep on getting this error message: "nvidia windows kernel mode driver stopped responding and has been recovered." In most cases, screen freezes so I have to reboot.

I had the folks at the store port over all of my contacts from my old
ratty Andriod phone to my new shiny iPhone.
however all 200+ of my contacts sort of "shook" out,
meaning say John Smith, on my old phone,
had in my contacts the following:

all nice and neat on my andriod but when it ported over
all that information was just scattered all over my contacts sort of like:

etc.
so for all those 200+ contacts in my phone, I've got a zillion of them now...
so I'd like to get this all back in order before I and Siri explode.
I know nothing, and I know even less about outlook and the sort.
But I do know I am in Dire need of help with this... I figured that eveything else
involving iphones and apple in general was supposed to be cake but it seems
like this is the only thing that isn't cake at all... unless, I'm just a right idiot. (which is possible, hence spelling and grammatical issues).I believe I've tried to sync it with google, but it didn't seem to take
muchless take my calender. it seems to favor my facebook calender
more over my google calender, but Siri seems to be helping me re-write
it...but that's not the game here, it's the contacts. I've tried to export
the cvp (??) list and import it into my iTunes account. However, It only
doubled my issue because it didn't over write my existing contacts. -
Need some help activating my face time on my new phone. Am overseas and not in phone range so trouble shooting is difficult
I maybe completely off base (i don't have t-mobile) but it was my understanding that you would still need a 'data' plan for a) most of the applications to work and b) to receive service books etc and that the wi-fi would only give you access to 'website' and not the email etc.
If the unit is rebooting, then it would be sign of a bad BB, I would recommend reinstalling the OS using the desktop manager but if you just got the unit and are still in the 15-30 day period (not sure how long t-mobile does a return) I would ask for a replacement unit.
Again, not sure on the top part so hopefully someone else may have an answer for you. -

Hi, I'm new to Java and need some help. I have 2 questions that are similar in nature.
1st Question:
In a program that I'm writting I have a do-while loop which at the end brings up a dialog box that asks the user to enter '1' for 'Yes' or '2' for 'No' to continue.
I would rather have the option of having the user enter 'y' or 'Y' for Yes and 'n' or 'N' for No.
Here is what I have currently:

By the way im using Ready to program for the programming.You can't really believe that his brother did this
for him...I did miss that copyright line at the beginning when
I first looked it over, but you know, if it had been
his brother, I'd be kinda impressed. This wasn't a
25 line program. It actually would have required
SOME thought. I doubt my brother woulda done that
for me (notwithstanding the fact that I wouldn't need
help for that program, and my brother isn't a

Air-lap1142n Is it dead or just in need of help?
Hi,
I have a number of air-lap1142n-e-k9 access points, so far they have all been deployed successfully aprt from this one unit.
When I deployed it, it joined the wlc as normal, downloaded the image, and I was able to rename it etc.. but then a couple of min's later it's status changed to down. It's details on the wlc had changed to name: blank, mac address 0000.0000.0000
I've tried restarting it a couple of times with no luck, below is the output from the console:

I've tried re-imaging the AP a couple of times, with no luck. Is it dead or just in need of help?

The issue is related to PCI componenet on the AP hardware and log that points to that is..

That's not something you can do using templates or by
dropping in a free
script; it's pretty complicated. You need to know how to
design a database
and write server-side code. Dreamweaver will help you write
the code, but
you still need to plan and design the whole application. I'd
recommend
starting with a book. It sounds like PHP is going to be your
best bet - does
your host server support it? If so, do a search on Amazon.com
for books on
Dreamweaver and PHP, and/or ask for recommendations here.

i need some help here as i am new to sql statement
I have 3 tables.
Table1 :- TeamID, Team_Name, Team_Logo
Table2:- TeamID, PlayerID
Table3:- PlayerID, Player_Name
How do i do a single select statement that select all information from table1 and the count of playerID from table2?
My MS access table has relationships.
One team can have many players. So how do it get the numbers of player in my team?

I need to put a sql statement in a shell script that will delete records from a table that is > than 3 months old and if not, do nothing.
The table has a DATE column as shown below:

Need big help creating PDF/X-1a compliant document.

I have tried this on my own but cannot make it work as I am not so computer savy. I have created all the files to specifications as best I can but when I try and use the preset PDF/X-1a it says violation both artbox and trimbox for every page. Ive tried fixing this manually and by using Preflight but it doesnt work for me. Can someone please help me create a PDF/X-1a complient document? I am desperate as I am trying to do this for a friend who needs my help. Looking for a good savior/Samaratin for help. Thank you in advanceI create the files in photoshop and saved as PDF with the preset PDF/X-1a_2001 but I cant or at least I dont know how to define the bounding boxes like Trim Box and etc. in photoshop. The problem I am facing is that the pages are supposed to be set as 11.5 x8.75 for printing at 11.0 and 8.5. So I made my files the 11.5 x 8.75 size but now I cant set them to be printed at the right size(if that makes any sense-sorry I am a noob). So I am not sure what to do. I thought saving it as a PDF in photoshop and then fixing it in Acrobat was what I was supposed to do? I tried manually to set the artbox to 0 and set the trimbox to where it needed to be 11.0x8.5 with different parts cut off for the odds and even pages. But still when I try to save as PDF/X-1a it gives me error messages. I have searched the web but cant figure it out. It seems so easy for people to do it but I cant figure it out and I am panicking and need help. Can anyone help me?
