Not able to book Busines Event

Im not able to Book Attendee for BUsiness Event, eventhough I have created Business Event & assigned to BUsiness event type
1 BUsiness Event Group is there 50001830 Ability to Manage Change -> 01.01.1997 - 31.12.9999
relationship with Business Event Type -GRID-POWER TO CHANGE - 50001882.
Now when I go to TCode PV00 and select 50001882 and click on book i get message that
Select a Business Event.
Are there any standard setttings to be changed ,What is going wrong. can anybody tell me plz..

PLease create the business events in the future date you cant book the person for the events in the past.

I am not able to capture the event fired by the button BTN1 in the controller of the pagelayout..... but if i set a controller at the messageComponentLayout iam able to capture the event.
what should i do in order to capture the button event in the pageLayout Controller

Tom,
Two things:
1)The button ur using is of type submitbutton or button?.In this scenario it should be button.
2)The correct coding practice is using:
if("QUERY".equals(pageContext.getParameter(OAWebBeanConstants.EVENT_PARAM)))
instead of
String _event = pageContext.getParameter("event");
if("QUERY".equals(_event))
because you never know if Oracle in any upgrade or patch change the value of the constant EVENT_PARAM in class OAWebBeanConstants.
3)If first point is followed by you, just match the exact event name in code and in property inspector for the button.

Not able to create an event in month view of iCal?

I used to be able to create an event from the month vien of iCal, and it doesn't work anymore. Anyone knows how to fix this?

So sorry to not have a solution but I wanted to chime in and say "me, too!". Not only create an event, but I can't edit it in month view, either. I thought it was my entire iCal program, since I just upgraded to Lion today, but after reading your post I realize I can edit events in week mode, just not month mode.

Not able to capture button event in extended controller

I am not able to capture the button event (of seeded controller) in extended controller.

Not able to book a retrobilled order.

Retrobilled order is not picking up unit selling price from the price list and therefore is not booking.
Retrobilled order generated with retrobill concurrent program. Trying to enter unit list price and book it but not able to enter the unit list price.
Not able to complete the order. This order needs to be retrobilled asap.

Check the dispatch time set for the output type.
Go to VA02->Menu Extras -> Output ->Header -> Edit.
Check the value assigned in the column Date/Time. It may be assigned with 1 or 2. Change that to 3 or 4 and check.
The output master records can be changed in t.code VV12.

Not Able to book SO using API

I am trying to book the Sales order using OE_ORDER_BOOK_UTIL.COMPLETE_BOOK_ELIGIBLE. I am getting the return status as 'S' but still the order remains in entered status . If anybody faced the similar issue , please let me know.

I could print the error message as 'Unit Selling Price is required on a booked order line.'
and 'Unit List Price is required on a booked order line.'
But just after this process when i am trying to using a begin-end block from sql plus. I am able to book .

I have tried passing the values of unit list and selling price and then it started working fine.
But My doubt is .. Initially I did not pass any value for pricing.. but still after completion of the process (even if order does not get booked the price got updated .. can anyone help me to analyze this case?

ADF application deployed but not able to process any events on Tomcat

Somehow i m able to deploy an ADF application on tomcat 5.5. I am able to see the pages. But nothing is working. That is on click of submit button it does not call the the method written in the bean (assigned to action property of the button).
All is working fine when run withi jdev. Also i dont see any kind of log messages while clicking the submit.
So i m not able to figure out wht is really going wrong. In my apps i have used just ADF faces. There is not ADF-model..

Hello Praveen,
If I understand correctly the scenario is File -- XI -- RFC and you do not see any message in SXMB_MONI.
I would test the Sender File Adapter first before going to RFC. If the file is picked up and sent to Int Server you would see a corresponding message in SXMB_MONI.
I would first check the Sender File Comm Channel in Comm Channel Monitoring and ensure the file id being picked up.
In case this is not working you would get the exact error in the File Comm Channel. If this channel is working fine and you see a message id for the picked up file but the corresponding message Id is not available in SXMB_MONI, I would have a look at the queues if they are registered properly in SMQR or check if messages are stuck in any queue using SMQ1 and SMQ2 transactions. Please do the following steps and I am sure the scenario would work.
In case you find the problem and are not able to resolve it please post it here and I can suggest something.

MF50 not able to book Capacity on Saturday and Sunday

Dear Experts,
In MF50 planning table the if we book requirement on Saturday and Sunday .we are abel to book the requirement but "Not yet assigned" is gyred out system is creating a back ward scheduling to friday.
In work Centre we maintained factory calender ( all the days are working) and shift sequence.
Please let me know the settings.

According to your description, my understanding is that you could not edit documents with Office client application in SharePoint 2010.
Let’s do a troubleshooting about this issue:
1. Make sure that you have installed Office application on your machine.
2. Which explorer did you use for your SharePoint. Please test it with IE 10 32-bit, compare the result.
3. Please try to reset IE, compare the result.
4. Add your SharePoint site into Trusted site on your IE options.
5. Make sure all add-ons related to SharePoint are enable, special for SharePoint OpenDocument Class and SharePointOpenXMLDocuments.
6. Since you used OWA for your SharePoint site, please try to disable OWA, then open documents with client application, compare the result.

Thanx for your reply, I worked out and able to receive the data in oracle database, Actually there was some problem in insert Query. Now I have tested the same... and able to edit the same in the Database.....
But I am facing a new problem, Http Dispatcher in SES console is displaying all the Events generated as well as event in Que but there is no events in the Event Send. I guess it is not able to send the events.....?????
Event statical is showing like this
Events Received: 0 (0.00/sec)
Events Generated: 311 (0.19/sec)
Events Sent: 2 (0.19/sec)
Queued Events: 309 (0.19/sec)
Kindly suggest where is the problem, Is it a JSP problem or OSES end problem.....

Not able to update the attendance to employee for Event

Hi,
I have done the integration between Training & Business Event Management and Attendance.
While I am booking employee (who has a work schedule from 9.00 u2013 5.30 p.m.) to Event Type with a schedule time 8.00 hrs to 18:00 hrs. It is not allowing me to book that employee to this event as his workschedule is not falling in schedule time.
It is booking events to the employee who are falling under their work schedule and updating attendance.
Requirement is Administrator should be able to book employee from different work schedule to the event timing.
Is there any standard solution available that it will check for the employees work schedule & book for him attendance for that day if event as per his work schedule timings.

Please goto Maintain Business event type t-code (you can use PP01 by selecting D - Bus event type object type too) - select your bus event type. Then select Business Event Type Info infotype and select change.
There, you can select "Allowed in instructors time off" and "Allowed in attendees time off" checkboxes.
