Not able to execute Discoverer Sessions

Hi,
My Discoverer URl is not working (http://servername:7778/discoverer/plus) on 9.0.2.0.1 server.
but my forms and reports are working which is also hosted on the same server, please tell me what need to check and which services need to check and logs etc.
Please reply as it is production server I have to start today itself.

Of course you need to check OH/opmn/logs and OH/oc4j_bi_forms/logs, and OH/oc4j_bi_forms/application_deployments/discoverer/logs (Im not sure of the last)
And the services has to be started the OC4J_BI_Forms (using opmnctl status).

DB user exists. I'm able to login via sqlplus. Have checked in Physical schema and Logical schema also. All required Data Servers exeists in Topology -> physical / locical schema-> oracle. and tested the connection every thing is working properly.

Not able to stop batch session

Hii,
I have placed one session on error only mode.
it has been running for last 5 hrs.I am not able to stop the session.
Even after loging out of the system it still shows active session.when i tried to kill the session but it is not allowing me to kill the session.instead one more session is getting created.i am able to kill that session also.
its very urgent pls help.

Deleting Sessions
Use
Normally, batch input sessions are deleted from the session list automatically when they are completed. However, sessions remain in the list if any of the following is true:
They were generated with the KEEP option.
They contain errors or were aborted with the /bend OK code. (Such a session is deleted when you finish processing it, unless it was generated with the KEEP option.)
When you no longer need sessions that have been held in the list, you can explicitly delete them.
Do not delete any sessions that contain unprocessed transactions. You must first correct and process such transactions or enter the data in the transactions into the R/3 System in some other way.
Prerequisites
Start the batch input management tool: Select System ® Service ® Batch input ® Sessions. Alternate: Enter transaction SM35. Both paths take you to the session overview of the batch input system.
Procedure
To delete a session from the session queue, mark the sessions to be deleted and choose Delete from the tool bar. The system asks you to confirm the deletion. It also asks you if the session log should be deleted together with the session.

From windows server 2012 and windows server 2008, Opened port 20,21,22 in firewall bidirectionally. After Establishing connection by passing credentials 230 log in successful.
ftp commands executing getting as " 425 Use Port or PASV first" , "500 Illegal PORT command".
But I could able to do windows client machines like windows 7 and windows 8 with same environment
Note : Firewall ports are opened. have tested by making firewall down to avoid filters.

Did you mean even you disable or open the related port the FTP issue still exist? I found this errors most time occur when we use the ISA firewall and the FTP configured passive
mode, if you have ISA firewall please refer the following KB to fix this issue.

Not able to open Logic8 sessions after upgrade from 10.5.8 to 10.6.8

Hello,
I recently upgraded my 2x2.93 GHz Quad-Core system from 10.5.8 to 10.6.8, and now i'm not able to open certain logic 8 sessions. Most of my sessions open fine, but theres a bunch that I'm getting memory errors for, saying things like "not enough memory" or "audio units failed to load" or the session will load with just a blank screen.
Since I'm running in 32 bit, and I know these particular sessions were (in 10.5.8) using around 2.21 gigs of real mem its pretty clear that i'm pushing the limits of my computer. However it would stand to reason that if i could open the session in leopard, I should be able to open the session in snow leopard.
Strangely enough, I have a mobile rig (2.3 GHz Intel Core i7 macbook pro running on 10.6.8) that will open up these "troubling" sessions just fine. The only thing i can think of thats different is the lap top was a clean OS install while the 8 core was an archive install.
Also strangely enough, I'm able to load sessions larger than 2.21 on my 10.6 8 core as long as its not from the "troubled" bunch of sessions. Which leads me to believe it could possibly be a specific instrument or plug-in or combination that is causing these crashes. Not quite sure how to test for that. Also since the sessions load on the laptop, not sure why it would be an issue on my mac pro.
If i go into the "troubling" sessions by not lunching the "core audio" driver, and delete some instruments i'm not using my sessions will open just fine on my mac pro. While this is a temporary work around, its not work for me in the long run.
Also, none my virtual memory servers have changed since my update so I don't think thats the problem.
If anyone has any idea they could through my way I would greatly appreciate it. I'm definitely stumped on this one.

Not able to execute startEclipse.bat file in Eclipse (Oracle utilities SDK)

In Eclipse installation, i am not able to run "startEclipse.bat" file in this path "C:\SPLSDK\SDK\shortcuts" which comes under Oracle Utilities Software Development Kit 4.0.0.
once i start installing startEclipse.bat, i get a error message "windows cannot find /eclipse.exe, make sure you typed correctly and try again"
and how do i find the eclipse.exe on the installables? also in error message it shows backslash "/"eclipse.exe while executing "startEclipse.bat" file.
jdk and hibernate paths are located in "c:\spl". Is that fine?
And When I click “eclipse” in this path “C:\SPLSDK\SDK4.0.0.4\eclipse\eclipse-jee-galileo-SR2-win32\eclipse”, I get error "java runtime or jdk should be available in order to run eclipse. and no JVM was found after searching for the folder "C:\SPLSDK\SDK\4.0.0.4\_jvm\bin\javaw.exe" ". I have installed Jdk in “C:\spl\jdk1.6.0_18”. And to install Eclipse, should I change the path of installing jdk to support Eclipse installation?
what could be the reason?

Not able to open another session in source sys when i log in from BW to sys

I am not having the source sys access , but I took it from one of my collouege . when i login into source sys via BW - RSA ( like source sys and custmizing extractor ) , I am getting log in screen , where i am giving the my collegue;s usr id and password . ( i do not have the sys details , like it is not in my log on pad and i do not my own id ) .
I am directly in SBIW transaction screen ..but when i wanted to open a new session i m not able to do so .
please let me know how to do ? is there any specific setting .

PLS-00201: Not able to execute Oracle Package through Java app

My struts application is trying to execute an oracle procedure (in a package) and is getting following error.
I have granted execute priveledge to the user using "Grant execute on <package name> to <user>"

Built-ins not able to execute in 9iAS R2

Hi,
I have 2 servers. Each with 512MB memory and P4-1.8GHz running SuSe Linux 7.2 with the latest patches. I installed Infrastructure and Mid-tier on separate servers. No problem for the installation and Forms Services is able to run. I tried to create a simple form from 9i Developer Suite and ftp over to mid-tier. The form can be loaded but non of the Clear_Form and Exit_Form is able to execute. I have no problem running in 9iDS. Anyone has this problem? Anything to do with the Forms Services settings? Pls help.... tks.

UWL WorkItem Not able to execute

Hello friends,
when i am trying to execute the workitems of my Z webdynpro applications i am able to see the workitem in the in box but i am getting a screen of R/3 and only statement coming as close window.
In Tcode SWFVISU every thing is maintain. the systems are register in UWL.
i am also getting following error in log files

initially when the user login the session is set to login if the user logout the the session is set to logout
the value in session is not changing in abcd.jsp page even after logout it is working in Google chrome but in Internet Explorer the value is not changing.

Not able to execute the Method on 64 Bit OS

Hello All,
We are compiling the plug-ins for InDesign Server CS3 on XP which has 32 bit Operating system. These plug-ins work fine if the InDesign Server CS3 is also installed on 32 Bit OS.
But if the InDesign CS3 server is installed on 64bit OS the plug-in method is not invoked also it displays a message as method not found.
Do we need to compile the plug-in in a specific manner to make it work on 64 Bit OS or it should work as it is.

Anyone have a solution for this? I am experiencing the same thing - QC can connect to QTP on VM if I have a remote session open to the VM, but if not I get the error mentioned.
Also using QTP 11 and QC/ALM 11.
