Not able to fetch updated data using jdbc and oracle 10g

Whenever i m updating the data and fetching the same record after updating i m not able to get the fresh/new updated data , old record is fetched every time, but when i checked in database the record gets updated successfully , even if i fire the query two times after 10 seconds using Thread.sleep even then problem persist.
Please help me out!!!!!!!!

After Updating i m forwading it to the other servletForwarding what? Why do you need another servlet? Just do the query, put the new data into the response object, and return.

TS1702 i am not able to install update or remove itunes and install newer versions, windows installer service cannot be accessed,

i am not able to install update or remove itunes and install newer versions,
its stops installing and a windows error is shown
i e :: windows installer service could not be accessed , this could occur if you are running windows installer in safe mode
or windows installer service is not correctly installed
the same error happens if i try to uninstall the itunes from the control panel- remove programmes option
im using windows 7 home basic 64 bit version
this eroor is not happening with any other programmes..

SAP fixed asset add-on. Not able to import master data using upload pgm.

I am trying to import fixed asset master data using an excel file into sap B1 2007a patch level 42. I am able to run the import transaction. It tries to process and then giving me a message ' Import end: Number of successfully imported assets: 0. Number of processed assets:2. We have looked at the event log file and couldn't find anything related to the upload. I have gone through other posts and didn't face this issue. Any hellp is apreciated.
Path which I am using to upload the fixed asset master master data: Administration --> Setup --> fixed asset --> import fixed asset master data.
Following points (see below) also taken into account while creating the master data sheet.
also replaced the ',' in the csv file to ';' before uploading and changed the fixed asset mode to 'transfer' in the administration --> system initialization > company detaills> basis initialization.

The issue was because of the conflict of Depr. Start Date, Use Life and Remaining Life. After I corrected the data, it worked just fine. The note 876670 helped me to resolve this issue. Thanks to Adam at Toronto SAP Business one support for his expert analysis and suggestions.

Error while updating data using session and call transaction method

    i have to update data using MM01 transaction from flat file to database.i have used both session method and call transaction method to do that.in both the methods data has been transferred from internal tables to screens but while updating the data that is by clicking the ok-code at the end of the transaction iam getting a dialogue box stating
   SAP EXPRESS DOCUMENT "UPDATE WAS TERMINATED" RECEIVED FROM AUTHOR "SAP".
please tell whether the problem lies and solution for that.

Might be u have given table name is diffarent, table name must be match in table field of jdbc receiver structure and table name of data base tables.both places u must give the same table names . this is one reason another one u might be given jdbc structure is wrong. u must specify jdbc structure like this.
   STATEMENT
   TEST
    action(attribute) (action u specify as INSERT)
   TABLE( here u give the table name )
access ( below u write the fields)
and one more is u check the receiver communication channel in that u check properly u have given jdbc drivers, connections , user name and pass word.
check all those things definatly u wil find the error.

Not able to write to Excel using Client_OLE2 and webutil

I am working on Windows 2000 Pro SP4 Oracle Forms Builder 10.1.2.0.2
I am using webutil to invoke Excel Application .
The following code invokes Excel application and saves in the path specified as Test_Excel and writes the "Test Data to be written" to R1C1 when I use OLE2.
But when I replace OLE2 with Client_OLE2 the Excel file is getting created but the data is not written to the cell.
PL/SQL :could not find program unit being called is the error.
Can anybody help me solve this issue ?

What line is actually causing the error? Also, I assume you tested the exact same code which works when using straight OLE2 (and not the webutil client_ version)?

Question about JDBC and Oracle 10g AL32UTF8

Currently I have a Java program that uses lib: ojdbc14.zip. It works fine for our Oracle 10g database, but when we converted our character set to AL32UTF8, our program seems to have stopped working properly. For instance, I grab a count(*), to see how many rows an ID has in a table. Then I take that list and display and count(*) that are greater than 0. Well, my first getString works properly to generate the select count(*) statements for all the tables in the database. But then when I execute those select count(*) I can grab out the number greater than 0. That's column 1. Then the owner name is displayed in column 2. and the table name is displayed in column 3. When I do a getString(2) we only get the first letter (sometimes) of the owner of the table. Same with the table name.
For instance, before AL32UTF8
getString(2): SCOTT
getString(3): PEOPLE
After
getString(2): S
getString(3): P
Now to open my connection I use:

And to create query I use:

1. Report output should be in Excel Format. ( Is this possible without XML Publisher using 10g Reports only )
2. Report Parameters to have multi selection criteria. ( Is this possible in 10g Reports and Oracle Apps, Report Manager responsibility ?)

I am new to java and i am trying to connect to database which is necessary for me in project when i wrote the code using class.forName i am able to compile but when runnig i am getting two exceptionns one is oracle.jdbc.driver.oracledriver not found or excetion in thread main class not found please help me

1) Please refrain from cross-posting (posting the same message into two or more forums). This question was better asked in the JDBC forum as you eventually put it but you already posted here so if that happens again next time just leave the original thread be.
2) Your compilation classpath and your runtime classpath are not related. As a matter of fact with well written JDBC code and under most conditions you should not need your driver in your compilation classpath at all, only your runtime one.
3) Your driver is not in your runtime classpath. That is the error that you need to resolve.

Not able to get the data using standard iviews in MDM

I would like to configure uwl for SAP MDM. I want configure uwl on Product. I created system object and alias amd uwl system also.
while I am trying to access standard iviews ( iviews in Product of Content provided by SAP ) I am getting error like
"failed to find table MDM_ Products" " java.lang.nullpointer exceptions".
Please help to solve this issue and also guide me to configure uwl for Custom MDM repositories.

Import data using Excel and Oracle SQL Developer - I need some help

Dear friends,
I'm using Oracle SQL Developer 1.5.1 and I need to import an Excel file into a database table. If I try to import this file in XLS format, fields and headers are correctly being shown and separated, but if I press "Next" button, it simply doesn't do anything - it stays stopped.
I did some search here in this forum and it seems to me that, when you try to import a file via XLS format, SQL Developer has bugs. Is this correct?
If I save the same file in CSV format and try to import the same file, it goes ahead, but SQL Developer is not separating fields and headers correctly. It combines all CSV fields into one - let's say Column0 and fields 1;TEST;01/01/2000 below the same Column0.
Saving the file in CSV format is not a problem, taking a very little time. But I don't know how to make SQL Developer import it correctly. Could somebody please help me? Thanks in advance.

PCA query not able to fetch data

HI All, I have installed PCA Business content cube and all the queries available in the Business content relavant to the PCA cube. I have loaded one quarter worth of data. The Profit center - Balance sheet and Profit center - Income statement queries are not able to fetch any data. I am able to execute te query but the report has no data in it.
Can any one suggest me if there is any thingthat I can do or any ways to dedbug this query.
Has any one encountered similar poblem

Are you executing this query "wide open" or you using Characteristic Restrictions and/or Variables that could be filtering out your data? Did you try executing the query using tcode RSRT via 'Execute + Debug'? That may help. Also, take a look at the source InfoProvider in LISTCUBE using the same criteria as the query to see if any data retrieve via that method.
