Not able to Login through EBS

Hi All,
We are facing an issue when users are trying to log in into OBIEE through EBS. It is saying that User is not logged in but if I try to log in with the Admin link (which has the user id and password embedded) it is working fine.
Please suggest what has to be checked. We have already put the correct URL in EBS form for FND_OBIEE_URL.

To troubleshoot login issues : Integrating OBIEE with E-Business Suite gives message "You are not currently logged in to the Oracle BI Server" [ID 749190.1]
Most likely if you check your nqserver log file, if you see the NQ_SESSION.ICX_SESSION_COOKIE has no value definition then you need to modify the connect script in your InitBlock connection pools.

We are unable to login to EBS using IE8 however we are able to access the same using Mozilla FireFox or Chrome.
I Tried using R12: Using IE8 to access two EBS Instances runs in error "Unable To Authenticate Session" [ID 1098563.1] document but it did not work.
Also there is no error captured in the log file as well.

I checked that issue as well. My problem is I am not able to login to EBS. But login page appears in IE8.
Also please note the below is the login page URL and redirected page URL

Not able to login through J2EE_ADMIN

Hi,
After installing XI,with the default user i created J2EE_ADMIN user.I can login though that ID for few days but suddenly for some reason i am not able to login and i am getting error saying that " user SAP* is only active ".Then i created SAP* and logged in.Its working fine.Now my question is " How can i log in though J2EE_ADMIN ? ".Can anybody provide solution for that ?

Not able to login through isql*plus ?

I am using 10gR1 on Aix machine. I have successfully started isqlplus at server. I am getting the login page at the web browser. How ever when I try to login I get the following error.

When i start the services using sh adstrtall.sh i am getting error

So i run autoconfig on appl Tier and DB Tier after that the service started successfully

I followed the document ID 305316.1
1) As i don't have '_' in host/domainname in my system so it is not applicable.
2) it is suggested to run Adadmin Compile Menu option with force. So did the same
Now i try to logon but still same problem
3) it is suggested as follows
Recompile Security
a. Logon as System Administrator
b. Navigate to Request, Run
c. Select the following request:
d. Compile Security
e. Enter "Yes" for everything parameter
But i am not able to login to EBS.

Hi,
Check out the connectivity between cisco aeronet and TACAS server and what is the failed logs says in tacas server.
If possible try to change the configuration to aaa authentication login Login-LAN(default) group tacacs+ line and then try what exactly happens.

Try to check sawlog0 and nqserver.log latest error message? is your BI- LDAP working previously or fresh configuration error?
Note: It dosn't matter whether it's win 7 or windows xp. i am sure some wrong in ldap or Make sure your DEV_BIPLATFORM/DEV_MDS Schema password locked/expired if yes try to unlock it then test it out.

No user is able to login through User Management Engine in SAP Web AS Java

Hi,
We are facing an error"User Authentication failed" in SAP Web AS Java(Stand-alone).
No user is able to login through User Management Engine but we were able to login as administrator into Visual admin.Tried SAP* (Emergency User Activation in config tool) also.SAP* is also able to login to Visual Admin But not into UME.Login in Visual Admin was successful when we tried with SAP* or administrator.
Feels like some UME configuration might have changed.Can anyone help me in this.

go to services -- key config login ticket and see in right hand side entry deleate all entry
and save it
then go to sm 59 and check HMI connection (http connection to R/3)
deleate it and recreate it

I have configured Active Directory in my weblogic server. I am able to get the user-list in console/Security Realms >myrealm >Users and Groups.
But i am not able to login using that user id and password (From my active directory) to webcenter spaces and content server.
The error while login we get is - Invalid Credentials
Please try entering your user name and password again.

Is your JPS provider showing status as GOOD ? On UCM 11g the credential will be mapped to UCM through the JPS provider by default . It could be that the JPS provider is down which is why you are not able to do the login .
If JPS provider is showing status as GOOD and still showing the problem then check on the following points to see if any of them has been missed :
•     Once any errors are corrected, go back into the myrealm security realm again, and edit both your ActiveDirectory and DefaultAuthenticator providers to change their Control Flag to SUFFICIENT.
•     Reorder the providers so that ActiveDirectory is the first in the list.
•     Restart the WLS admin server and any managed servers one more time. You should now be able to log in to UCM/URM using an Active Directory username and password.

Hi,
if you change password of adinistrator through portal interface, you also need to change the password using Visual Admin Secure key store for Administrator. As It keeps the copy of the password in hash key.
I suggest to do the following:
1) Login to Visual Admin
2) Goto Secure key store and change pwd for adminisrtaor to the same password you chnage din portal interface->user administration.
3) save and apply changes.
4) restart J2EE and then try to access.

You can try to clear your IE history by going to Settings > Swipe to left/right to go Applications > Internet Explorer > Delete History and then retry. By the way, it would be best to just setup your e-mail on the phone by going to Settings > Email+accounts.

Strategy Management - Not able to login

Hi All,
Recently, I have installed strategy management in the environment of CE7.1 with SP6 and the strategy management version as 7.5 SP7.
After deploying the SCA file which is downloaded from the market place, I could see the services in os level(services.msc) (The two services are SAP SM listener and also SAP SM extended listener). Both of the services are started in OS level.
But when I try to login to the URL, http://hostname:port/strategy/tools ---> I am not able to login. (Getting error as undefined and sometime getting a message as unauthorised error)
I used UME - CE administrator(UME) for logging into the above URL, its redirecting to the other url
http://hostname.FQDN.com:50200/strategy/tools/invalid_user.jsp
Note: I am new to the strategy management, So kindly guide me to the correct path, and also I have downloaded and gone through the installation and administration guide from market place. Also gone through the note of 1350405 , 1467938 but clueless to get rid of this error.

Are you upgrading or is this an initial installation? I ask because you need to use the bootstrap.zip or import.zip file that comes with the SP level that you installed. The message indicates that there is a difference between the bootstrap and installation SP levels.
If you are just installing SSM, I would recommend starting with SSM 7.5 SP7 (NOTE 1505658) which is the lastest SP level.
When loading the bootstrap data, you need to choose between bootstrap.zip and import.zip and only need to load one of those. If you choose import.zip, you get the sample data with demos. If you are new to SSM, I would recommend loading import.zip into your DEV environment so you can look at some complete build-outs of SSM. It is very helpful when starting your own development.
bootstrap.zip does NOT include the demo data and is more suited when there is already a familiarity with SSM and samples are no longer needed. Like when creating your PROD environment.

Not able to login to BIP using OBIEE Admin credentials

I am not able to login into BI Publisher(http://<Server name>:7001/xmlpserver/) with my OBIEE Admin credentails. It throws an error "Unauthorized Access: please contact the administrator".
I have checked in console that this Admin User has been assigned to Administrators and BIAdministrators group.
Also I have a BISystemUser which is assigned to Administrators group.
Don't know why it is not working as similar User and group setting onto a different server works.
