Hi Sahil,
Check below three reasons .....
1. open form setting on outgoing excise invoice and tick the g/l account and choose it at transaction time.
2. Check cenvat account on warehouse level .
3. Check cenvat account on item group level
4 Check cenvat account in g/L account determination(General tab) .

  • Not able to cancel the Excise invoice for STO process

    Hi All,
In  STO process, we need to cancel the excise invoice due to some business requirement. When we tried to do the same in J1IH, it is not allowing us to do the same with the error "No item information transferred into Accounting". Tried the same through J1IS with the internal Doc No. Here the error is document is complete.
Please guide how to cancel the same.

    Hi,
STO has been created either through MM route or through SD-MM route.
In MM route, the process is as below,
You create PO, followed by MB1B (Transfer posting) , then followed by J1IS (Excise Invoice).
In SD-MM route the process is as below,
You create PO, followed by VL10B , then VF01, then followed by J1IIN (Excise Invoice from Factory).
Normally, when you create Excise Invoice through J1IIN, it is automatically released to Accounting.
In your case, I feel it has not yet been released to accounting and I hope, Excise Invoice has been created through J1IS.
In MM route, you need to release the Excise doc to Accounting.
In that case, you need to go for J1IV and release the same to accounting.
Find out the Internal document number from the Excise Invoice and with the reference of this Internal document number release it to Accounting through t.code J1IV.
Now, once it is released to accounting, you should be able to cancel it through J1IH or J1IS.
Please let me know if any further problem you are facing.

  • Not able to post J1I5 (Excise Updation for reversal document)

    Hi,
We have reversed the material document with "MBST".
SAP does not update the reversal excise entries  for the document posted through MBST.
SO WE ARE TRYING TO UPDATE EXCISE (PART1) THROUGH J1I5.
Input given are Posting date, Excise Group, company code,Plant, Material document and classification as "IPD"
We are getting the material document list after executing the J1I5 but not able to simulate and Post the same
    Error "Processing over ZERO Records.
    Thanks
    Prakash

    hI,
Go to J1IS click cancel excise invoice (Shift+F6) , give the internal document number of your excise invoice created and year then click the cancel excise invoice , it will cancel the excise invoice .If u go to J1IS and cancel the document only the excise invoice created will be cancelled, no accounting entries will be generated. In order to capture accounting entries you have to fetch the accounting document of J1IS through table j_1iexcdtl and j_1ipart2, pass a reversal entry for the accounting document through FB08. And if you want to post again with the same material documents create the excise invoice in J1IS with respective same material document

  • Outgoing Excise invoice posting in closed period

    Dear Expert,
My client did not make any Outgoing excise invoices till date from 01.08.10.
Because of this RG1 register also not updated.
Now they want to update this registers in SAP.
Now when they are preparing outgoing  excise invoice by giving posting and document as that date in billing document it is showing error to check the period.
FI periods are open  but MM periods are closed for this period that is "5(august)"
Is there any other option to post Outgoing excise invoice without opening period in MMPI.
As the implication is too high.
If we have to go for MMPI what are precautions we have to take.

    Hi,
Take the opening balance till date and update the opening balances through table and start the transaction now onwards. Closed posting periods not possible.

  • Excise duties not flowing while creating return excise invoice

    Hi friends ,
During sales return excise invoice creation ,excise duties are not determined automatically in J1IH. Is there any settings instead of entering the value manually in J1IH? I have searched the forum but only manual entries related results are posted. Is there any automatic determination?
    Thanks in advance
    Bhuvanashree

    Dear Friend,
As per the SAP new package ETT RLFC has been introduced for Excise sales return. New tab   "Return sales Excise" available in J1IH for post Return excise invoice automatically. .
We added ETT RLFC in table J_1ITRAN and did configuration for account determination for excise, this is helped us to post excise invoice for Sales return.
Please refer SAP Note: 1907900 - Error 8I-402 for return sales transaction(RLFC)- J1IH
In addition even after all the configuration of RLFC you are not able to post the Excise for return sales then this is due to confirmation of service in original delivery.
This is a typical case when you are using Batch managed material.
If this scenario arise implement SAP OSS note No: 1971904 which will resolve the issue.

  • Not able to post vendor payment in case of Cash discount received

    Hello
We are on SAP ECC 6.0
I'm not able to post an outgoing payment through F-53 T code when cash discount is received from vendor due to early payment before due date.
I get the following error message -
Tax code V0 for country IN has been deleted or incorrectly changed
    Message no. FS201
Our tax calculation procedure is TAXINN and we are an indian company in India.
GL account for cash discount received is already defined in OBXU t code for SKE transaction key tax code wise.
V0 tax code is defined through FTXP.
I'm able to display correct cash discount amount and cash discount % when i click on select process open item in F-53 after entering document date; posting date; company code; currency; Bank GL A/c; Amount (Net of discount); value date and Vendor Account.
What am i missing? Why am i not able to post vendor outgoing payment?
Is it possible to post cash discount received to the credit of Stock / Inventory Account as quantity received is not consumed or quantity is lying in inventory?
    Thanks.
    Vimal

    Hello Chintan
I have assigned GL A/c in OBXU t code with and without reference to tax code.
Still, i am not able to post outgoing payment when cash discount is received as i am paying it before due date.
Cannot i take credit of cash discount received to Inventory / Stock Account?
Is cash discount received always posted to non-Inventory / non-stock GL Account?
    Thanks.

Whenever I create an outgoing excise invoice in the field RG23A Part 1 no value is displayed but the excise regiester numbering is updated in the background i.e. it is perfectly showing what will be the next number for the document after generating this outgoing excise invoice.  What could be the error for this entry?

  • Excise part 2 not able to post

    Hi,
I have captured part 1 entry while doing GRN.Now when i tried to post the captured invoice through J1IEX i am getting the error
"No Part 1 exists for availing credit in excise invoice 128 2011"
I have checked in J1I7 & in the excise invoice there is no Part 2 posted still i am getting the error?
Why excise invoice part 2 cannot be posted when part 1 is  captured?
    NS

    Hi,
1st check, did you done GR in MIGO and did stock posted to quality stock , stock in quality stock then release to in unrestricted stock & do to post excise.
If not above, 2ndly for capturing excise invoice: you can manually capture excise invoice in J1IEX by selecting reference document without PO(if MIGO done)
Please confirm did you selected the "Only Part1" option while receiving of goods (while MIGO). if yes then system should
    Update J_1IPART1 table.
    1) Check in SE16---Table J_1IPART1 with help of Material document. if table entries avilable then J1IEX will never give you the above given error.
    2) If the table entries are not available, then system was not updated PART1 table while creation of GR. Then you have to update it manualy by T code J1I5.
    3) Once PART1 table updated by J1I5 then go to capture excise invoice through J1IEX.
    4) PART1 is updated or not confirm in J1IEX only, While you capture excise invoice through J1IEX, then system will show PART 1 tab in item level of excise invoice.
if shows means part1 was done, if part1 tab was not their, then you have to update Part1 table by tcode J1I5 and capture the excise invoice through J1IEX.

  • AP Credit Memo Without Outgoing Excise Invoice

    Hi ,
When we create an A/P Invoice for an excise item ,and then when we raise an A/P credit memo for the same .. Automatically an Outgoing Excise Invoice is created ...Now because of this the series of the outgoing excise invoice , which is created usally through sales is disrupted and its a legal issue over here .. So Can you please let me know if there is any other way to raise the A/P credit memo without the OEI being created .. The exicable tick does not work as we are not able to change the Tax code from the A/P credit memo.
Thank you for your answers and suggestions ,
    Best Regards ,
    Arul..

This is a limitation with SAP Business One.
What we do as a workaround is, create a seperate numbering Series for 'Outgoing Excise Invoice' say 'APRet' and set this series as default to some user say 'Raman'
While booking 'AP Credit Memo' we login with user 'Raman' and book the document and in turn it uses 'APRet' series for 'Outgoing Excise Invoice' without violating legal issues.
Hope this would solve your problem.

  • GR based IV tick mark in PO- not able to post MIRO

we are working for a indian client with CIN. most of the PO's which is created in SAP system with all Excise parameters and applicable taxes. further all PO's created with GR based IV check box enabled.
now the issue is, in some of the purchases vendor is not applicable for excise, so there is no excise parameters in the PO, only tax is applicable. for this case we have not maintained vendor excise details in J1ID. but we have maintained material chapter id and CENVAT determination in J1ID. but as i mentioed earlier these PO's also with GR based IV check box enabled.
If the PO is not excisable no Excise capturing and posting is required, for these types of PO's we are following the below steps
    1. Creation of PO with GR based IV check box enabled
    2. Goods Receipt without excise capturing
    3. Invoice verification - MIRO ( here system is not able to post the docuement because of GR based IV tick mark)
    waiting for the response

    hi,
    thanks for the response
problem is MIRO is not posting whenever GR made with GR based IV tick in PO.
    i have checked three scenario
    scenario1.
    1. created PO with GR based IV, but there is no Excise or Tax captured in PO ( means no FV11 created)
    2. Created MIGO ( no excise parameter will appear)
    3. MIRO done with respect to MIGO
    this scenario is fine
    Scenario 2 - current scenario
    1. Created PO with GR based IV, No excise is captured in PO but Tax (VAT captured with condition type JVRD) is captured   ( means no FV11 created for VAT only)
    2. Created MIGO ( no excise parameter will appear)
    3. while doing MIRO for this scenario system is not able to post the MIRO because of the VAT in PO and GR based IV tick mark.
    Scenario 3
    1. Created PO without GR based IV, No excise is captured in PO but Tax (VAT captured with condition type JVRD) is captured   ( means no FV11 created for VAT only)
    2. Created MIGO ( no excise parameter will appear)
    3. MIRO system is picking from PO based IV. so, it is allowing to post
need your expert advice on scenario 2 - how to post MIRO
