Not good service

I have only 1-2 bars service at my new house with my iPhone 5. Very discouraged because I am not able to make reliable calls. Because I have service the calls do not drop. The other person just can't hear me.
Any recommendations on what I can do to help with this situation?

Is the problem when you call others or others calling you or both? Are the problems only at your new house? If your in a bad service area then Verizon Wireless will probably tell you that you need a Network Extender or they might let you cancel your service without an ETF if their able to say yes your in a bad area.

Product ID is not getting updated in SC Goods /Service field

Hi Gurus,
While creating shopping carts in EBP, we are able to find the Product ID from the Good/Service find option, but when we select the Product ID in the search, it's not getting updated in the SC Goods/Service field.Also when we try to find the Cost center / WBS using find button it's not going to the search area after software upgrade.
Could you please suggest us why system is behaving like this.

Also few of the Product ID's are getting updated from the search help to Goods /Service field of the SC and some are not getting updated. while debug the SC , we are geeting the error message as BBP_SC006, Its relavant to catlog. But we are not transfering the Product from catlog to SC item.
The error mesage as: Good/Service & does not exist.

Apple customer service representative says: "FaceTime is not good. Don't use it."

The other day my friend and I were trying to chat using FaceTime. She keep getting connection error. We were both on WiFi network. Both of us have our Apple IDs set up on the phone. In the past I successfully used FaceTime to chat with other friends, so the problem is likely at her side. She called Apple's customer service number in her area (China), described the problem. To her surprise, instead of being asked about the details, she was told "FaceTime is not good, don't try to use it." If this is really Apple's official attitude towards FaceTIme, why would it release this product? Or, is FaceTime suppose to be only among US users?

I doubt if that is Apples official position, and it is a shame it was said to your friend.
Your friend is in China, where are you? I ask because the longer the distance between network connections the more likely connection errors can occur.

PO not displayed in Confirm Goods / service Centrally

We are on SRM 5.0 Extended classic scenario. Backend is ECC 6.0.
A Purchase order has been created in SRM and transferred to ECC does not appear in "Confirm goods / services centrally" transaction.
We noticed that in the Vendor master (Manage business partner) for that Vendor - ERS and Invoice Receipt Expected indicator were NOT set and PO was already created. These two options have been enabled now. Could this be a cause ?
Any inputs or solutiion would be helpful.

you can deactivate the Extended search by modifying the template in SE80.
However for confirmation every time one has to enter the PO number and then do a confirmation.
This is the same functionality as we have in R3 MM in MIGO transaction.
so whether it is simple search or exteneded search the Po number is an input for performing the Confirmation.

Search Criteria - Product ID not working for numeric Internal Goods/Servic

Hi All,
I was searching Internal Goods/Services via Product ID. In the search criteria for Product ID we have given 1* as search criteria and it seach all alphanumeris Internal Goods/Services but not able to give search results for numeric Internal Goods/Services.
Do we need to apply any correction note?

You probably can't do anything about it. It's the carrier. What do you have? Do they have coverage there? Are you visiting? Did you move? If you moved and you don't have good service you have a reasonable cause to get out of your contract because your service isn't good.

Like so many others I have not been able to access or send emails with iCloud now loosing business. Not good enough and lack of info from Apple is also not good enough!

Unfortunately, Apple does not yet allow merging of Apple ID's. if you were once using [email protected] as your Apple ID then there is no way to link that ID with the new one to avoid losing the previous data under that old ID. You will have to either go back to using the old ID to save the old data or just keep both, which you arfe allowed to do.

Custom fields on confirm goods/services centrally

I have a requirement for which I need to add 2 custom fields on extended search screen of confirm goods/services centrally; I have tried implementing the note 672960 which did not helped me.

From what i understood from your query, you want to add fields on the "CONFIRM GOODS/SERVICES CENTRALLY" transaction search screen.
The fields are 'shopping cart number' and 'shopping cart creator'.
Please go through the following OSS Note:
Note 672960 - User-defined fields 2
I think the structure you should use are:
INCL_EEW_PD_SEARCH_HDR_CSF_CNF
If you have defined document-specific fields on header and/or item level, you also have to define them in structures INCL_EEW_PD_HEADER_CSF (for the fields of the header) and INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF IF THEY HAVE NOT BEEN DEFINED THERE YET. Consequently, these structures contain the combination of header or item fields of all document-specific fields
You can also use user-defined fields as search criteria. To do this, you have to set fields XINPUT and XDISPLAY to 'X' in table ET_FIELDS for the fields you want to use in BADI BBP_CUF_BADI_2 in method MODIFY_SCREEN. The fields defined this way are displayed if you choose the 'Extended search' link.

Disable 'Find' (good /service) function in 'items in shopping cart' SRM 5.5

Hi SRM experts,
after clicking on Shopping Cart (- Full functionality) you have the choice of searching in catalogs or you can scroll down to 'Items in Shopping cart' and enter the product-id directly in 'Good / Service'.
How can I disable this 'Find' option? So not the whole line, but only the 'find' option with the binoculars.

There is no "update icon" in iOS versions earlier than iOS 5.
The update is very large (over 1.2 gigabytes). You need a good internet connection to download it to your computer. Maybe you'll need to take a trip to a city to get a good enough connection.

but when i gone to SE80 and entered the Internet service "BBPCF02" but it will not display folder 99 and any of the html templates

No account assignment details were adopted - Confirm Goods / Services

I have an issue: I'm in the Confirm Goods /Services. When I attempt to 'Start' a search for Confirms Goods Receipts/Services Performed, I get the message: No account assignment details were adopted. Do any of you know why I might be getting this message?

Hi Kumar,
This is because if you click on Extended Search screen in Confirm Goods/Services screen, Account assignment Category was picked (Something like CC,OR or AS) but in the next field the value of Account assignment Category was not put in.
If you are pickingup Account assignment category please put a value of it, else do not select it.

PO descripion is empty in trx Confirm Goods/Services.

I would be really glad if you could help me. In trx Confirm Goods/Services in SRM5 (Extended Classic), when I try to search for PO to confirm, finding via Description field is not working. When I put PO number, PO is found, but when I try to find it not by ID, but by Description, system does not find anything. I noticed that table BBP_PDVIEW_LIST which groups all POs details to be shown as a result of searching, does not have field Description filled. It is empty. Propably that's why when I try to fing PO by description, the results are negative because description is not filled in searching results table BBP_PDVIEW_LIST. Do you know why this happens?

I have just received info from OSS with very interesting finding. No Purchase Name in searching results in trx Confirm Goods/Services centrally was caused by lack of proper value in attribute "System Alias". There such be both backend system alias and srm system alias.

ORA -ERR :Tns could not resolve service name

I am tring to get into sql plus. As the oracle is pre installed and as donot know the system password, I am tring to login as Scott/tiger and host string as 'ORCL'.
I am getting the following error.
ORA-12154 :
Tns could not resolve service name
Is there any way to find the Host string name through any of the installation files.

Hi,
Open the tns file ( available at oracle_home/network/admin/tnsnames.ora). I do not know what your oracle_home name is. Usually it is oracle/ora81/ under c: or D: or where ever you installed Oracle. Go thru the file. You will find the service name. Use that while logging. If you want to login to ORCL, it has to be there in tns files name otherwise Oracle cvan not resolve the name.

Linksys WRP400: Voice line registered but number not working (not in service) (no SIP response)

Good morning everybody,
i'm experiencing a weird and frustrating problems with some Linksys WRP400 and i hope you can give me any advices.
Long story short: the Voice line on the WRP400 keeps stop working, even if it's registered on my SIP PBX. Only a reboot of the router or a shutdown no-shutdown of the line temporarily fix the issue.
Let's add some details: i've got a lot of WRP400 installed and running and not all of them have this problem. They all have the same configuration.
I've tried to workaround the issue, reducing Register Expires from 3600 to 1200, setting on Make Call Without Reg and Ans Call Without Reg, setting on Restrict Source IP and enabling a daily reboot at 05 AM. It doesn't seem to help.
When the problem occurs, if i call the voice line number i get an error "The number you have dialed is not in service" or similar. Sometimes my customers says they can make an outgoing call, while the problem is still on, but more often the line is totally mute even on the outgoing way.
On my SIP PBX i can see the number is regularly registered, with the right timing.
If i make a Wireshark sniffing on my SIP PBX, i can see some regular "Request: INVITE sip:[email protected]:5060;transport=udp, with session description" from the PBX to the router, but the router never answers.
If i reboot, the voice line re-register itself and start working again.
I attach a screenshot and the Wireshark sniffing.
I'm using the latest 2.00.32 firmware.
Have you got any advice? It's becoming an annoying problem and i'm groping in the dark.
