Not resizing my file flash.swf

Hi,
I would like to know how I can do
to not resizing my file flash.swf as you can see on the link below
(I don t want the audi car to become smaller and smaller
when you make the window smaller it is why I would like
my file flash.swf always at the same size (same height and same width)
and the audi car always at the center of the flash file)
http://s371298467.onlinehome.fr/jc/
Thanks in advance

thanks ned
but if I use fixed size (width:920px and height:350px)
we can see that the grey ground under the car is no longer going on each both side of the screen.
http://s371298467.onlinehome.fr/jc/
I am trying to be more clear lol:
I would like to have my flash.swf  with a height of 350 px but I would
like to have my flash.swf always occupying all the space in the width
between the left side and the right side of the window whatever is the
size of the window and in the same time I would like to have
my car always at the width-center of my flash.swf so at the width-center of the window and always at the same size(my car).
thanks in advance

    Hi !
    If you've got the latest version of flash, the message should
    says
    something like "could not find the file flash8b.ocx" instead
    of
    "flash.ocx" (who is, it seems, flash 7.0).
    I suspect, once again, that registry rights are broken.
    Try this script :

  • Error: Could not find the file "flash.ocx"

    I have been receiving the error COULD NOT FIND THE FILE
    "FLASH.OCX" for the past couple of months - I have been watching
    the message boards and have seen a lot of "fixes" and beta's come
    up errors (not sure that it's this exact error though).
    I get this error continuously throughout the day - no matter
    if I have nothing running on my computer or I have 10 things open.
    This morning it occurred to me that my screen saver is not coming
    on and it seems to me that the above errror is popping up everytime
    my screen saver should start. I HAVE TIMED THIS TODAY AND CHANGED
    HOW LONG BEFORE MY SCREEN SAVER STARTS - AND IT IS DEFINITELY
    GETTING THE ERROR EVERYTIME THE SCREEN SAVER IS TRYING TO START.
    Last week, I deleted the version of Flash that I had and then
    re-installed; still getting the error.
    I was getting the error when I had IE6 so I thought maybe
    switching to IE7 would correct it - but it didn't (that was a few
    weeks ago).
    My computer does not freeze up but it is SOOO annoying to
    continually throughout the day get this error.

    PLEASE HELP!

    Ah-ah! The workaround is to map my network folder to a drive, say... M:\
    So, when I select Edit->Edit in Audition->Sequence, I can select the Browse button to alter the Path destination. Instead of seeing '\\Zeus\Projects\...', I select the mapped M: drive so the path reads 'M:\Projects\...' instead.
    Then, Audition loads and is able to find the sequence or clip.
    So... that solves my problem!

I can add this code to the html file with no problem I only have a problem when the other code is added. I also have a problem sometimes using <noscript> </noscript>
    So in all this code I do not see where the flash swf file is being call twice. any Ideas.

  • Flash .swf file not appearing in browser when publishing from iWeb 3.02

    I have been working on a site for the last couple of months that i created in iWeb 2.0 and had successfully had small flash movies that I embedded via html snippets from code provided by numerous sources and youtube videos demonstrating how to get flash movies into one's site.
    The url is
    www.almafoods.com
    Today i upgraded to 3.02 and had to make a change to the home page. The domain opened up fine with all the HTML code and .swf on the page exactly as I had it in version 2.0
    When I now publish to a folder, first of all it doesn't copy over the .swf file unless I create a link to the file, but even when I upload all the directories to my ISP's remote server, the movie isn't not showing up in the browser. The html code file and .swf file are in their correct directories on my ISP's remote server
    I'm baffled as to what is going on here as its the exact same domain that worked perfectly in 2.0 and this has peed me off no end
    Does anyone have any suggestions or encountered the same problem in 3.02?
    Any advice would be very much appreciated

    Your .swf files are in the same folder as the widget-markup files.
    Keep your custom files OUTSIDE the folder with the sitename iWeb creates.
    iWeb will overwrite everything when it needs to do that, wiping out your custom files.
    Put the files in a separate folder and determine the link to these files.
    Read this : Using the iWeb HTML Snippet
    Besides that, to display these tiny pictures I wouldn't use Flash.

  • Flash SWF with Video file will not play in web page

    Hello Flash group,
    I have created a flash video file from a *.wmv file.
    myvideo.flv.
    I have used flash to build an swf file that plays the video
    (with a default skin).
    I have then imported the media file into an html page using
    Dreamweaver. I did not import the flv file, but the swf file with
    the "video" in it.
    The page plays find on my development server (where
    Flash,Dreamweaver, etc is installed).
    When I moved the html page, the flv file, the swf file and
    the skin to my production webserver (linux and apache)
    the flash files do not show up on the web page. The dev
    server is a windows XP running apache 2.2)
    Any ideas on what I need to do???
    thanks,
    eholz1

    It may cause by any of the reason below:
    - You have uploaded the flv file to the wrong directory
    - Your flv file path/name is incorrect. check all case
    sensitive etc.
    - Your web server doesn't support FLV MIME type.

  • Shape Layer not showing up in my .swf file.

    Hello All,
    I was working on creating a banner that I export as a .swf file and I tried to create a rounded rectangle with only the stroke showing up so it then the banner would appear to have rounded corners on the website. After I exported the file to a .swf I noticed that the rounded rectangle shape layer I had in my project did not show up. Can anyone help me figure out why?
    Here is a screen shot of the banner with a grey outline shape layer. Its there with 100% opacity and everything.
    And here is what the .swf looks like. (see no outline?!)
    If anyone knows how to make my shape layer appear here that would be fantastic.
    Oh and just in case here are the export options I choose. File > Export > Adobe Flash (.swf)...

    I gave the a try and noticed that the color quality of the other elements in my banner. (colored text) had poor .jpg quality even when I upped the .jpg quality. Do you have any recommendations on how I can rasterize my border? Ill jump into illustrator or photoshop and play around with some files and them import them to see if I can find a work around...
    see crummy color quality that text was suppose to be a nice dark blue.

  • FLEX debugger not hitting breakpoints, because Flash sometimes embeds source file paths with wrong letter case?

    I was trying to figure out why breakpoints were working fine for source files in some locations but not others.  FlashDevelop's debugger (which I believe is actually the FLEXSDK debugger) was successfully connecting, tracing output, and hitting breakpoints in SOME files, but not others.
    I downloaded SWFInvestigator from Adobe Labs and checked the embedded debug paths for various source files to see what was going on.
    I discovered that files in which no breakpoints could be hit had their paths embedded in all lowercase (e.g. "c:\users\username\desktop\source\myproject" instead of "C:\Users\username\Desktop\source\MyProject").
    So I have two questions:
    First, is this a Flex debugger issue, or a FlashDevelop plugin issue? Letter case shouldn't matter or interfere with matching file paths in Windows.
    Second, what could possibly influence the letter case of embedded paths in a SWF output by Flash Professional (CS6), such that they are sometimes all lowercase and other times maintain the same case from the file system?  And why would that affect a debuggers ability to hit breakpoints in Windows 7?  I am compiling in multiple ways. Sometimes clicking Publish within Flash. Sometimes the file being published is not even open in Flash, and my JSFL script file is passed to Flash.exe containing embedded file paths to open the document. Usually, everything seems to work fine, no matter where I publish from, regardless of whether the FLA file is open or not. I'm honestly starting to believe that it depends on how the FLA was last opened in Flash Professional, as though it saves some sort of last access path internally and uses that to embed debug information.

    I don't think it's the source path in my case, because it's simply the dot ".", although I did check that because it would most likely influence the embedded paths.
    In the library path, I use relative paths exclusively, since all my individual project folders exist in the same "source" folder.
    Here's how I arrived at the conclusion that something more complex or "stateful" must be occuring:
    I publish my files with a one-click application, which does the following
    updates version timestamps (static constants) in specific files via regex match
    fills in a JSFL template with the FLA filename and writes the JSFL file to disk, then passes the JSFL file path to flash.exe for publication
    the JSFL then runs a command, which signals the main application via cross-process communication that the script has finished publishing
    That all makes it easy for me to update and publish multiple projects and deploy them, with a single click.  Here is the JSFL template I created, which has been drastically simplified since the days where it used to search to see if the file was open in Flash, select the document, and call publish.  Now it just uses the publishDocument method to silently publish files without opening them.
    var filepath = "FLAFILEPATH"; //template parameter: the URI (beginning with "file:///") of the FLA file to publish
    fl.publishDocument( filepath, "PUBLISHPROFILENAME" );
    FLfile.runCommandLine("COMPLETECOMMAND");
    The C# app replaces the strings in all caps with the actual values.  The COMPLETECOMMAND is actually populated with the application's own executable path, along with a "complete" switch, which lauches a 2nd instance, which handles the complete switch by broadcasting a signal over an interprocess channel and then terminates.  The main instance captures the signal, triggers a wait handle, and continues with publishing the next file.  Here is the core code for it:
    private string fillTemplate( string fla_directory, string fla_filename, string publish_profile_name )
        string fileuri = "file:///" + Path.Combine( fla_directory, fla_filename ).Replace( '\\','/' );
        return EmbeddedResources.OpenAndPublish //JSFL template file embedded as string resource
            .Replace( "FLAFILEPATH", HttpUtility.JavaScriptStringEncode( fileuri ) )
            .Replace("COMPLETECOMMAND", HttpUtility.JavaScriptStringEncode( "\"" + Application.ExecutablePath + "\"" + " -publishcomplete" )) //call self with -publishcomplete switch to signal main instance's publishCompleteSignal
            .Replace("PUBLISHPROFILENAME", HttpUtility.JavaScriptStringEncode( publish_profile_name ) );
    private static readonly string FLASH_PATH = @"C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Flash CS6\Flash.exe";
    public void publish( string fla_directory, string fla_filename, string publish_profile_name )
        Program.publishCompleteSignal.Reset();
        string template = fillTemplate( fla_directory, fla_filename, publish_profile_name );
        string curdir = Environment.CurrentDirectory;
        string tempJSFLfilepath = Path.Combine( curdir, "temp_script.jsfl" );
        File.WriteAllText( tempJSFLfilepath, template );
        Process p = Process.Start( FLASH_PATH, tempJSFLfilepath );
        Program.publishCompleteSignal.WaitOne( 30000 ); //timeout after 30 seconds
    Here's where it gets interesting.  The FLAFILEPATH has ALWAYS been passed in as all lower case, yet this publication method has worked 99% of the time for hundreds of publish operations every day.  This applies to both the publication of the first SWC, which is referenced by the second published SWF (both were being published with lowercase paths), yet the paths for the main SWF were remaining in lowercase, while those in the referenced SWC were maintaining the correct case from the file system.
    So there may be any number of things going on here.  SWCs may be published differently than SWFs, such that SWCs always have the correct letter case for debug source files, regardless of how the source FLA project was opened.  Ensuring the path passed to publishDocument uses the right case definitely fixes the problem, but it doesn't explain why it usually worked, despite having always been passing a lowercase string.  The only variable I can think of in all of this is Windows itself or Flash, such as whether the document was open in Flash at the time the silent JSLF publishDocument command ran, and how that FLA was last opened (via shortcut, via "recent documents" in Flash, via recent documents in Windows.  It has to be something, even if it's something as obscure as how the folder path was last accessed in windows, although I strongly suspect it's just how (in terms of path case) the FLA was last opened in Flash.
    In any case, I'm happy that passing the right case to JSLF's publishDocument command fixes the problem, so I'm not going to spend any more time trying to figure out how opening the FLA in various ways could affect the embedded debug paths.  The only thing that should be done is to address how paths with the wrong case are handled when they do get embedded that way for whatever reason.  Perhaps the flex debugger should be updated to use case-insensitive matches in case-insensitive file systems, unless, perhaps, this is a FlashDevelop debugger issue after all.

  • Firefox Embedded Flash swf not shown in asynchronous desktop

    Hi all,
    in a jsp I embed a binary property of a content node that includes a flash .swf file. All that in an asynchronous desktop, using Firefox.
    I use the follwing code:
    "<embed scale="exactfit" quality="high" menu="false" width="600" height="400" hswLiveConnect="false" src="<%=myPropertyUrl%>">
    When the page is loaded by "normal" browser request, the flash animation inside the jsp renders as expected. After click on an url (<a> ....</a>) inside the same JSP the portlet content refreshes (via Ajax request), only the flash disappears. After F5 it's back agian.
    The problem does not exist with IE!
    How do i need to handle this for Firefox?
    Thanks for help.

    Firefox uses the object if there isn't a classid to specify an ActiveX control for IE.<br />
    You didn't specify such a classid (classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000"), so there is actually no need for the embed in this case.<br />
    As jscher2000 posted above, an object tag only works in Firefox if there is a data attribute present (copy of the movie param) to specify the Flash file and a possible MIME type.
    <pre><nowiki><object style="width:420px;height:272px" data="http://static.issuu.com/webembed/viewers/style1/v2/IssuuReader.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" >
    <param name="movie" value="http://static.issuu.com/webembed/viewers/style1/v2/IssuuReader.swf" />
    <param name="flashvars" value="mode=mini&amp;backgroundColor=%23222222&amp;documentId=121102153057-a8027186d32d406698ae9cd6ce0305ed" />
    <param name="allowfullscreen" value="true"/>
    <param name="menu" value="false"/>
    <param name="wmode" value="transparent"/>
    </object></nowiki></pre>

  • Flash SWF file within Swing JFrame

    I was wondering whether its possible to open a Flash swf file within a JFrame
    I am looking for a solution similar to the usage of Flash Activex control in .NET
    thanks in advance
    Vikas

    I have read the forum link and other such entries in this forum. I have found the following:
    1.) JFlash - a java based flash player. https://jflash.dev.java.net/
    Could'nt find the app or the official site
    2.) a few projects on sourceforge.org :
    java flash bridge where you embed the flash inside an Integrated Browser Component
    3.) SWT Flash integration.
    I do not find any of these solutions satisfactory.except the SWT/Flash integration which I havent tried.
    My question is that isnt there an easier and simpler way to :
    Embed Flash into Swing app where actionscript and java can communicate.
    I am aware of Remoting and web services. But It is a desktop app I am talking about.
    Can anyone suggest anything?
    thanks in advance..

  • Flash paper not resizing in IE

    I am loading my flashpaper in a movie clip using the standard
    code (
    http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flashpaper/articles/import_flpaper2_03.html).
    The flashpaper is located on a different subdomain than the
    swf doing the loading, so I added
    "System.security.allowDomain([flashpaper.domain.com]);"
    The flashpaper loads, but will not resize.
    I added some debugging and it looks like the
    "getIFlashPaper()" is not able to detect the flash paper.
    Works in Firefox, but not in IE.
    I wonder is this related to the 9.0.115 relase?
    Can anyone provide any info here?
    Thanks

  • Flash swf files getting errors in dw8

    For a student assignment, I am trying to load flash files,
    actually the files are all linked through LoadMovieNumber, so what
    I really need to do is load the swf. files in dreamweaver to post
    them to our student website. Dreamweaver recognizes the files, but
    when I try to place them in the remote file it is giving me this
    error-
    gd251kga2\firstsigns_drink.swf - error occurred - An FTP
    error occurred - cannot put firstsigns_drink.swf. Access Denied.
    The file may not exist, or there could be a permission problem.
    File activity incomplete. 1 file(s) or folder(s) were not
    completed.
    Files with errors: 1
    gd251kga2\firstsigns_drink.swf
    But only on 3 of the 10 swf files I am loading...all are
    located in the same folder, all are updated and work properly.
    Does anyone know why this might be happening and anyhting I
    can try to fix it?
    Thank you
    JJ

    It sounds like there are problems with the folder you are
    uploading to. Given this is a school computer you probably don't
    have access to change the necessary permissions. Try renaming the
    file and uploading under a different name then rename on the remote
    server or update your file to recognize the different name.

  • Changing flash .SWF file into Keynote presentation

    Someone please help.. presentation in 8 hours and I want to use Keynote but the presentation is in flash .swf and the directions I got didnt work- they were:
    Use Flash MX to save the file as a Flash 5 movie. It should have a filename extension of ".swf". Important: Keynote cannot import native Flash files whose filename extension is ".fla".
    In Keynote, Choose Edit > Place > Choose.
    Select the file and click Place to insert it into your slide.
    I choose edit but theres no option that says place, how do I read my swf file through Keynote?
    Thanks everyone!
    Daniel

    That kind of thing is not done in Fireworks, which is a graphics
    application; it should be done in a web page editing program such as
    Dreamweaver. Generally, Fireworks HTML is not acceptable for final
    production web sites unless you're exporting as CSS and Images, and
    even then, it will most likely require tweaking in a web page editor.
