bound function buttonLocation(count) : Integer {
if (count == 0)
return 30
else
return 10 + (20 * count)
-- cut here --
is giving a NPE using NB 6.8 M2 as:
- file 1.2.1_b28
- and if possible, the source file which triggered this problem.
Thank you.

Hi Sandeep,
Thanks a lot for your quick reply! You were right, the logging directive was used both client and server side. I moved
-Djava.util.logging.config.file=path/to/logging.propertiesfrom setDomainEnv.cmd to startWeblogic.cmd and WLS can be stopped correctly now.

  • What is the proper method to access exported functions in a DLL compiled for a CE (Arm) target?

    I have been trying without success to access functions in a DLL that is targetted for Windows CE.  My Labview application target is an Arm-based TouchPanel device.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Well, you can't load an ARM DLL into a VI that is loaded on Windows. The ARM DLL has a different object format, that the Windows loader doesn't know and even if it did, the Intel CPU can't interpret the ARM opcodes in that DLL.
    In order to be able to load and debug your application on your host system, you need to create a so called stub library. This is a DLL, compiled for the host system, that provides one equally named function for every function in the target DLL, that you want to call. You create such a DLL in Visual Studio, by taking the header file and adding an (empty) function body to each function you want to call, and then compiling this into a DLL.
    Of course you won't be able to debug the DLL call itself on the host system, unless you fill in some sensible functionality into the stub function yourself, but you can load the VI hierarchy and debug other aspects of your application.
    I haven't played with this specific part of mobile development yet but I believe that you can debug the VI in question from your host system when you start it under the mobile target. But you still need to provide the stub DLL, so that LabVIEW can load the VI into memory. The actual execution happens on the target and the data is transfered back to the host  system through a debug channel to be displayed in that VI, but the stub DLL is required so LabVIEW can load the entire VI hierarchy to allow debugging the VI.

  • JavaFX Compiler - Limiting Inference?

    Inference is no doubt a love/hate feature depending on how much you want the compiler and/or runtime to 'guess' what/how your code is supposed to execute/compile.
    PhiLo's got a good example posted here:
    http://phi.lho.free.fr/serendipity/index.php?/archives/18-Beware-of-JavaFXs-type-inference!.html
    h1. Are there any options/arguments that we can give javafxc (the javafx compiler) that limits inference?
    h5. This means:
    h6. Specific assignment types, 'var myVar:SpecificType'
    h6. Function Return types 'public function getSpecificType():SpecificType'
    h6. Function Returns a Specific Instance (i.e. has a return statement)
    There might be more that I can't think of off the top of my head.

    Hi. This may not be a direct answer to your question. Just an idea.
    The ComboBox uses a ListView as a method of display. A ComBox has
    the following methods to limit visible items:
    public final int getVisibleRowCount()
    public final void setVisibleRowCount(int value)You may want to look how these methods are implemented for a ComBox.

  • Create a cross compiler for arm

    I am struggling with building a cross toolchain, essentially it boils down to building these packages (in thegiven order):
    binutils gcc-base newlib gcc
    When done I am trying to compile a dummy cpp algorithm (euler gcd/ggT search) with no includes.
    What the cross toolchain spits at me is the following:
    $ arm-unknown-eabi-gcc -march=armv5te ./euklidisch_ggt.c -o ./euklidisch_ggt.bin.armv5te
    /usr/bin/arm-unknown-eabi-ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib/gcc/arm-unknown-eabi/4.5.2/../../../../arm-unknown-eabi/lib/libc.a when searching for -lc
    /usr/bin/arm-unknown-eabi-ld: skipping incompatible /usr/arm-unknown-eabi/lib/libc.a when searching for -lc
    /usr/bin/arm-unknown-eabi-ld: cannot find -lc
    collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
    I wrote a little script to build it (as I got pretty much fed up doing it all by hund, round #7 just failed again)

    I already read linux from scratch howto for building cross compilers, though partly it contradicts with AUR comments especially in regard to --with-sysroot and --with-build-sysroot
    If someone can please shed some light on this, the gcc doc is not very helpfull
    Note: I know that a bare metal arm elf cross compiler exisis in the archlinux repository but that is not sufficient as I need different targets with some special options (where can I get the PKGBUILD from packages within the ABS?)

    Current targets are armv7vfpv3 and armv5te softfloat, this compiler(s) (afaik softfloat and hardfloat can not be put into one compiler, correct me if I am wrong) will be used as basis for kernel compileing for these architectures plus the basic packages (afaik called bootstrapping).
    And I knew it was not really newby stuff, but .. well .. after searching like 5 mins for an appropriate subforum I gave up and posted it just here, sorry
    The point is this is the basis for a lot of core packages and I just want to do it right (and atm it ain't working at all )

  • Problems Compiling Code With Function Pointers Using Sun CC (SUNWspro)

    I have a header file that contains a declaration to a function pointer as follows:
    int (*pFuncPntr)(char host, char comm, void *data);
    Then, in a *.c file which includes the header file where the function pointer is declared, the prototype for the function is at the top of the file and appears as follows:
    int someFunc(char hostname, char community, void *data);
    Then, in the same *.c file, down below, I attempt to assign the function pointer to the address of the function declared as follows:
    pFuncPntr = &someFunc;
    ... and further down in the *.c file is the definition of someFunc. ........................
    When I compile, I get the following error:
    : identifier redeclared: pFuncPntr
    current : int
    previous: pointer to function(pointer to char, pointer to char, pointer
    to void) returning int : "/vobs/pp2dev/src/cmds/emcp_pmgmtd/sparc_solaris/../emc
    p_pmgmtd.h", line 84
    "/vobs/pp2dev/src/cmds/emcp_pmgmtd/sparc_solaris/emcp_pmgmtd_solaris.c", line 46
    As far as I've read, this is the standard way of assigning a function pointer to the address of a function.
    Does anyone have any ideas what CC compiler is complaining about?
    Appreciate your response,
    dedham_ma_man

    WHen I try to include the ftp.jar package?? I use "package com.enterprisedt.net.ftp;".That isn't how you import a package. That declares that the class it is at the top of will belong to that package, and that's not what you want. I'm guessing that you need
    import com.enterprisedt.net.ftp.*;
    at the top of your code, just after the line where you declare the real name of the package your class is going to belong to.
    By the way, you need the compiled version of your downloaded FTP code, i.e. the .class files. If you got source code (.java files) you'll need to compile them, but you should be able to get the compiled version as a download.

    Welcome guy -
    Unless you are using Spry menus as a learning experience, you should move forward to a menus system that will display properly on the millions of portable devices that won't work with Spry which was deprecated 2 years ago.
    Many are using JQuery menus or pure HTML/CSS menus.

    Hi Frank,
    I am apologizes for my late reply to your response.
    I tried to solve the issue first from my side but i am getting some different error.
    1)JDeveloper version - jdev 11.1.3.0
    2)how is the save point created?
    save point is created implicitly when exits form bounded taskflow (as i setted the crirical flag)
    3 )how is it recovered?
    I am trying to restore it back but I am getting following error now,

    2) i have added following entries in the adf-config.xml file...
    <adfc-controller-config xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/controller/config">
    <savepoint-datasource>jdbc/scottDS</savepoint-datasource>

  • Trying to cross compile for ARM phone (android galaxy S4)

    i am trying to cross compile for my galaxy S4 on my 64 bit arch install, and ran into a host of issues. Currently at a specific error message in the code box below, after downloading the android NDK at https://developer.android.com/tools/sdk/ndk/index.html and running:
    android-ndk-r9d/build/tools/make-standalone-toolchain.sh
    this gave me android-ndk-gcc (directory)
    so i read up some basics on how to set the compiler via:
    'export CC=/home/earth/android-ndk-gcc/bin/arm-linux-androideabi-gcc'
    then i downloaded Bash's source code and tried to run variations of ./configure with no success until i tried:
    './configure --host=arm-linux --enable-static-link --without-bash-malloc'
    which resulted in successful whatever configure does (sets up make file stuff?)
    the result of 'make' was (only posting the one compile iteration that resulted in an error):
    /home/earth/android-ndk-gcc/bin/arm-linux-androideabi-gcc -c -I. -I../.. -I../.. -I../../lib -I../../include -I. -I../../lib/intl -I/home/earth/project/bash-4.3/lib/intl -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -DSHELL -g -O2 oslib.c

    Makefile:643: recipe for target 'lib/sh/libsh.a' failed
    make: *** [lib/sh/libsh.a] Error 1
    I am in no way experienced with compiling things, but i did manage to compile a simple helloworld.c program for my phone and run it successfully on the phone, which tells me the compiler works okay.
    Can anyone give me more information on what's happening? Google returns almost nothing on any of these errors, especially the oslib.c errors.

    You should check out the Android NDK documentation.  The NDK comes with a cross compiler specifically for android, with the correct versions of libraries, etc.  It comes with some examples showing how to build stuff for it.
    EDIT: There is also an AUR package for it.

  • Compiling for desktop vs. mobile?

    I started playing around with Air this week and was impressed with how quickly I could get an application up and running using Aptana, writing the application interface in HTML/CSS and the logic in JavaScript. I have a question about deployment, though -- in an article about @font-face support in Air 2.5,  the author uses the phrase, "If you build applications for mobile, then web fonts are supported through the StageWebView control."
    Does that mean that developing for the desktop and designing mobile applications have to be done two different ways? Can I take my Aptana project and compile it to run on Android, or are there different development methods for different platforms? I was under the impression that Air was a code-once-run-everywhere kind of deal, so I'm a little confused. Is creating a mobile application using only HTML, CSS and JavaScript possible?

    The StageWebView component is used from within Flex, and just allows Flex to use the @font-face declaration.
    Adobe has told HTML/JS developers that it's not currently possible to build mobile applications using AIR for either Android or iPhone. Please ask for this functionality as often as you can.

  • Using makepkg to cross-compile (for sparc64)

    I recently acquired a Sun Ultra 5 system with a TI UltraSparc IIi CPU (sparc64).  I am in the middle of doing some compiling on it using Debian as the host system while dabbling into cross-compiling for it.  It would be superb to have a sparc64 toolchain installed and in the $PATH on a modern x86_64 system while using makepkg to cross-compile sparc64 packages.  I would copy /etc/makepkg.conf to a working directory, make the necessary changes, and run makepkg --config /working/dir/makepkg.conf.  makepkg would then (theoretically) pick up that I'm cross compiling, see the proper toolchain in the path, and cross compile.
    Is this possible?  If not, what kind of work/patching would be necessary to make it happen?

    cedeel wrote:A Sparc64 chroot isn't possible. The closest thing would be to run a chroot-like environment in QEMU.
    A cross toolchain should be preferred, although I have no idea on how to set it up.
    Yeah.  I'm building a toolchain atm.  As long as the PKGBUILDs know that I'm cross compiling, I should be okay.  There will be a bit of hand-cranking needed since not all sources use autotools.  Not really looking forward to cross-compiling openssl, and the kernel will take a bit of screwing around to work right, but, meh, that's part of the fun, right?  There's only 100-ish packages for a base install, so just getting to a functional system won't be too bad.
    I'm going to experiment with an auto-build system when I have the system running.  I'm very comfortable with bash scripting and am learning c++, so I have some good ideas.  I work as a sysadmin too, so I could even give some of the meatier servers at work an extra job to do.  That is, if all goes well

    When I set up Words with Friends on my Fire it asked for my username and password which from a previous reply to my inquiry above stated that the S 3 doesn't store due to privacy issues. I have tried all my usual combinations of usernames and passwords and my Fire won't let me access the game as it keeps telling me that one or the other is not correct. I have deleted the app from my Fire and re-downloaded it but have the same error comes up. I have accessed the Words with Friends support both on my phone and their website but there is no live chat. I might have to take both to a Verizon store. Also, my Fire won't let me access the game without a correct username and password. To say that I am frustrated would be an understatement as well I have tried everything I can think of with no luck! Thanks for any help you can give!
    Did you use facebook to log in?
    Verizon will not be able to help you retrieve any of the information you need.  You will have to contact Zynga.

  • How to check for a function module with its description and functionality

    Hi all,
    How to check for a function module,with its description and its functionality,in detail how can I know the purpose of a particular function module,how to search for a function module which suits my requirement .

    Hi,
    You can search a FM of your requirement by putting in the Key words and searching for a FM. Like * KEYWORD * and then pressing F4.
    Say for example you need to search something regarding converstion.
    Search for * CONVERT * and press F4.
    If there is something specfic like converting date to something you can give
    DATE * CONVERT *
    OR
    CONVERT * DATE *  and press F4.
    Once you narrow down your search you will have a Function module documentation inside the Function module. Please note that all the FMs willl not have documentation.
