  • Issues in IDOC_XML_FILE function module in ECC5.0

    Hi,
    I used the function module IDOC_XML_FILE to upload and convert XML file from the application server to idoc. It was working fine in 4.6C. Howeverm when we recently upgraded to ECC5.0, the version of this function module changed. And we are facing issues with this.
    - The FM is not reading the XML file correctly (There are some blank spaces while reading the file using the method, call method l_conv->read(  importing data = g_xml_string ) and
    - The parsing method is throwing error (CALL METHOD l_mini_parser->parse_string)
    Can anybody tell whether any SAP notes available for the corrections.

  • Some issue with the Function Module u0093'SKWF_FIND_BY_QUERY' in a BW ECC6.0

    Hi All,
    Need some urgent help..
    Iam facing some issue with the Function Module “'SKWF_FIND_BY_QUERY' in a BW ECC6.0 system.
    As shown below, in the function module, the Table “IT_PROPERTIES_RESULT” gets populated with some values based on inputs like IT_CLASSES, IT_QUERY, and ‘L’.
    This updation of “IT_PROPERTIES_RESULT” table is happening for some of the services sent through IT_QUERY and is not getting populated for some.
      call function 'SKWF_FIND_BY_QUERY

      PTYPE                    =

         tables
         CLASSES                  = IT_CLASSES
         QUERIES                  = IT_QUERY
         RESULT_OBJECTS           = IT_LOIO
      PROPERTIES_REQUEST       = PROPERTIES_RESULT        = IT_PROPERTIES_RESULT.
    The values are as follows:-
    Values getting populated in IT_CLASSES – BW_LO_TRAN               Values getting populated in IT_QUERY – 1) BW_QUERY, 2) /BIC/ZSERVICE
    I would like to know whether any Standard Customizing BW transaction is present that is maintaining “IT_PROPERTIES_RESULT” table properties  and fetching through this Function Module.
    Also, suggest how this issue can be resolved

    Hi All,
    I have a problem when using the Function Module 'SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1'.
    I am able to send data to SAP Users Email ID's using this function module, but the issue here is when i am sending

    like Shaik Rayeezuddin[[email protected]
    But i want it to be shown as it is sent by SAP but not by me. If we can put any constant as 'SAP' also it is ok, But it should not show my details in 'FROM:' Part os Email.
    Can anybody solve my problem as i need it urgent.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi All,
    Thanks for all your replies.
    I resolved the issue By passing parameter

  • How to create RFC function module and how to call this function module

    Hi,
    i want to know step for creating RFC function module and then How to  use this function module from some other sap system.
    Thnaks,
    jigar

    Jigar,
    To implement a remote function module in ABAP, perform the following steps:
    Register the module as remotely callable in the RFC server system.
    In the function module Administration screen (transaction code SE37), set the field Can be called via REMOTE CALL. Registering a module as remote causes an RFC stub to be generated for it.
    Write the code for the function module.
    Create the destinations.....................
    Displaying, Maintaining and Testing Destinations
    To display, create or modify destinations, choose Tools ® Administration ® Administration ® Network ® RFC destinations or enter transaction code SM59.
    Remote Destinations are stored in table RFCDES. The RFCDES table describes logical destinations for remote function calls.
    It is not possible to maintain the RFCDES table directly.
    You can also access logical destinations via the Implementation Guide (IMG) by choosing Tools ® AcceleratedSAP ® Customizing ® Execute Project ® SAP Reference IMG.
    In the Implementation Guide, expand the following hierarchy structure:
    Basis
    Application Link Enabling (ALE)
    Sending and Receiving Systems
    Systems in Network
    Define Target Systems for RFC Calls
    Displaying Destinations
    The initial screen for this transaction displays a tree:
    Different connection types (i.e. partner systems or programs) are possible. For further information, see Types of Destinations.
    To display all information for a given destination, double-click it, or place the cursor on it and press F2 .
    To search for a destination, press the Find button and specify your selection. You get a list of all entries matching your selection. Place the cursor on the one you want, and press F2 or simply double-click the destination. All information for the given entry appears.
    Creating Destinations
    On the destinations overview screen (transaction code SM59), the connection types and all existing destinations are displayed in a tree structure.
    All available connection types are explained in Types of Destinations.
    To create a new RFC destination, press the Create button. A new screen is displayed with empty fields for you to fill in.
    If you want to create a new destination
    As you create a remote destination, you can specify a particular application server or a group of servers for a balanced distribution of system load.
    For details of the destination parameters, see Entering Destination Parameters.
    Changing Existing Destinations
    On the destinations overview screen (transaction code SM59), the connection types and all existing destinations are displayed in a tree structure.
    You can display all information for a given destination by double-clicking it or pressing F2 on it.
    To change an existing destination, double-click it, or place the cursor on it and press the Change button.
    For details of the destination parameters, see Entering Destination Parameters.
    Testing Destinations
    To test a destination, choose the appropriate function from the Test menu.
    Connection (also available via the Test connection pushbutton)
    Authorization (checks logon data)
    Local network (provides a list of application servers)
    You can use the CALL FUNCTION statement to call remote functions, just as you would call local function modules. However, you must include an additional DESTINATION clause to define where the function should run:
    CALL FUNCTION RemoteFunction
    DESTINATION Dest
    EXPORTING
    f1 =...
    f2 =...
    IMPORTING
    f3 =...
    TABLES
    t1 =...
    EXCEPTIONS......
    The field Dest can be either a literal or a variable: its value is a logical destination (for example, "hw1071_53") known to the local SAP System. Logical destinations are defined in the RFCDES table (or the TRFCD table in R/2 Systems) via transaction sm59 or the following menu path: Tools ® Administration, Administration ® Network ® RFC destinations. You can also access logical destinations via the Implementation Guide (IMG) by choosing Tools ® Customizing ® Enterprise IMG. In the Implementation Guide, you can then choose Cross-application components ® ALE ® Communication ® Define RFC destination.
    The remote function call concept, for example, allows you to access a function module in an R/2 System from an ABAP program in an R/3 System. If you want to read a customer record from your R/2 System’s database, create a remotely callable function module in the R/2 environment which retrieves customer records. Call this function from your R/3 System using a remote function call and listing the destination for the target R/2 System:
    Pls. reward if useful

  • Test web service for a function module

    Hello,
    I have created web service for a functiona module. I can see the same service in SE80 in Enterprise Services.
    How do I test this service?
    I can see the URL in WSDL tab but when I try to execute it give me following error,
    What has happened?
    URL http://emhbssap15.domain.local:8027/sap/bc/srt/wsdl/sdef_service_name/wsdl11/ws_policy/document call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.
    Note
    The termination occurred in system BDV with error code 403 and for the reason Forbidden.
    The selected virtual host was 0 .
    What can I do?
    Please select a valid URL.
    If you do not yet have a user ID, contact your system administrator.

    Thanks Venu for your input.
    Unfortunetly we do not have Java stack on our development system. You said we can test it by SOAP UI tool. Where do I see the WSDL file for the service?
    I used WSDL from SE80 --> Service --> WSDL tab, but SOAP UI does not accept this format ?
    What are the other ways I can test this web service? I think about SAP PI, importing RFC & creating web service or creating ABAP proxies... Which is the best way to go forward in case you do not have Java stck.

  • How can i use this  function module

    Hai
    How can i use this function module /SAPHT/SALES_ORDER_READ, already apply the some parameters in this function module, but it shows the error , please tell me, how to declare the parameters in this function module ,
    thanks
    neelima

    Hi
    For a particular sales order,you have to pass the order number and the item number in the sales order.
    It will display the rest of the values which u can capture them using internal tables.
    Regards,
    Vishwa.

  • Need help for the Function Module 'PFL_GET_PARAMETER_INFO'

    Hi Experts,
    The FM 'PFL_GET_PARAMETER_INFO'  returns the value for Profile Parameters for a system .
    The inputs required for this FM are :
      1.   Parameter name  : ( eg . login/min_password_lng etc. )
      2 . Parameter Type
    I am not sure about what the value of Parameter Type should be .
    Its a mandatory field.
    I have tried to search but could not find anything.
    Can you please help me on this?
    Thanks in Advance,

    What exactly is the use-case for this?
    Many developers "c-call" the params and neglect this feature of the type - also whether it is static or dynamic. Some params are even dynamic as system profiles in one direction but static as instance parameters in the other direction when changing the value.
    As you cannot create your own system profile parameters, I do not see the use-case for why you are wanting to check it in advance, because the application APIs should do this.
    What you are possibly looking for is function module SUSR_GENERATE_PASSWORD in this case. It will respect "the rules" in the params.
    Do not use the legacy function RSEC_GENERATE_PASSWORD directly.
    Cheers,
    Julius

  • Documentation about this function module

    ineed Documentation about this function module RP_ANSAL_FROM_PERNR

    Hi Avinash,
    Have a look at the function group program documentation.It gives an idea of what the function module does.
    Short text
    Annual Salary Functionality (ANSAL)
    Description
    This function group contains different functionality for calculating the annual salary, and calculating a period salary from the annual salary.
    The function group evaluates different tables and features:
    Tables
    T503      defines whether an employee is paid on an
              hourly basis or per period
    T510W     defines the time unit
    T511      determines the relevant module from the annual
              salary wage type, rounding, etc.
    T539J     defines the valid wage types for calculating
              the annual salary
    Features
    ANSAL     defines the annual salary wage type
    PFREQ     number of periods per year
    Old U510F -> use T510F ?
    Thanks
