NUMBERs being imported as 0

I am connecting to Oracle via ODBC on a 64-bit Windows machine. One column is defined as NUMBER(38,0) and consists entirely of integers between 1 and 10. When I try to connect to the database via ODBC it tells me this column is of type DECIMAL and it has 0 for every value.
I've looked through the forums and I've found quite a few problems relating to the NUMBER datatype, but none seemed to be exactly like this.
I cannot change the structure of the table because it belongs to someone else, but I can change my program which connects to it. I am using the wxWidgets library, so it is possible that the problem lies there, but I can't see anything wrong.
Can anyone give me any ideas about how to take this forward? Is this a known issue or anything like that?

A bit more detail on this... it works fine if I specify the column as NUMBER. The problem is when the column is NUMBER(x,y), and there is no decimal point in the numbers in the column.

That's kind of a broad question ... and there are many different approaches ... so I will explain my approach, and other people can explain their approach.
My approach is to assign keywords and optionally captions and titles and other metadata to all of your photos, and use those to organize and search. Then, it doesn't matter what folders things are located in, if you want to see all your pictures of Chicago, you simply click on the arrow to the far right of the keyword Chicago. You don't have to remember what folders to look in, and this works even if the photos are scattered in a dozen different folders. In addition, since photos must be in one and only one folder, that limits your ability to organize; but you can assign as many keywords as you'd like to a photo, so a single photo can have keywords "Chicago" "Zoo" "Elephant" "Vacation" "Illinois" "United States" etc.

IPhoto on Mac not showing photostream. My photos from iPhone were not on my Mac, I tried to import using cable. Now the photos show in iCloud only. It seems frozen. On trying to close iPhoto down got message that photos being imported. 6 hours ago

I have IMac on Yosemeite, 500GB. IPhone 5 on 8.2. My photos, from iPhone, had not appeared via photo stream on my Mac. I had been away from a while But expected the photos to appear on the Mac. There were 1000 in Photostream and 1200 in Camera Roll. I used a cable to import the Camera Roll, it stopped importing after 1000 photos. The photos, though, are in iCloud and I don't know how to access them to put them to Events. There are 3 recent Photostream events showing up in IPhoto withOut any photos. I tried to import to Library but was directed to Finder and no access to iPhoto. I tried to shut down iPhoto but got a message telling me photos were being imported. That's 6 hours ago and I'm still getting the same message. I don't know what to do. I'm not an expert, just a user.

HHi, thank you for the reply. I have checked my iPad and iPhone and neither has iCloud Photo Library (Beta) enabled. Turned off in both. Photostream is turned on.
i tried to sort it out by dragging all the photos to Events on the Mac and then deleting them from iCloud - (left hand side of iPhoto under the section 'Shared'). the photos now show up in Events. I did force quit but the issue remains. The message reads ' photos are bing imported to the library. Please wait for import to complete.'
i can't empty iPhoto trash either. The message read "Delete error. Please wait for import to complete.'
WHen I was moving the photos to the Events I always had a message about duplicates - to the effect that the photos already existed, did I want to import them? I clicked on Yes, import all duplicates. But when it showed the images - duplicates side by side - one showed the photo and the other was blank.

Go to your Pictures Folder and find the iPhoto Library there. Right (or Control-) Click on the icon and select 'Show Package Contents'. A finder window will open with the Library exposed.
Look there for a Folder called 'Import' or 'Importing'.
Drag it to the Desktop. *Make no other changes*.
Start iPhoto. Does that help?
If it does then look inside that folder on your desktop. Does it contain anything you want? If not you can trash the folder.

Importing a test playlist of 12 songs yielded 386 songs being imported and all the music on my Ipad being deleted.

Problem: iTunes imported 30 times more tracks than I told it to, while deleting all of the tracks that where currently on my iPad. I am 100% sure that I did not have any additional fitlers selected as I did a full go through twice to ensure no ablums/Genre boxes where checked. Also the tracks it randomly imported are compeletly random in that they where not apart of any playlist.
Specifics: I told iTunes to check for MP and ACC files on my computer. It found them and made them available in the iTunes library. Apple support site said to create a playlist then drop the tracks into it. I created 'Test' dropped in 12 tracks and then went to my iPad in iTunes. I then went to music and selected "selected playlist, artists....." Where by I only clicked on "test" in which case the progress bar informed me 386 songs where being imported. I let it finish syncing to see what the final outcome was. It did get the 12 tracks I told it to + 374 more + deleted my current music.
Rant: Why is iPad so ********? This thing is teetering closely with being returnd. Following an online guide from the OEM shouldn't yeild any other result than what they claim it should. This has nothing to do with the typical Windows to Mac learning curve either as I am typing this from a Mac Book Pro, which is regardless as I followed an online guide. I like my Mac Book Pro pretty well, but this iPad2 is the more cumbersome peice of equipment I've ever had to use.
***: Why did it delete my current tracks? I did not stumble upon any information that said it would delete the directory it is about to copy into. If this is standard then its standard but it seems like a bug to me. Also why did it important hundreds of extra tracks? My full library has about 3000 tracks and my iPad had plenty of room to accomidate more than the 386 tracks it copied over.

Failure to launch plug-in - Aperture says master file still being imported

I'm trying to edit an image in PS3. When I do, I get the error "Editing Error. One or more of the selected version has a master file which is still being imported. Please wait for the file copy to complete and try again."
But the file has been properly imported. What's going on and how can I get my image to be editable once more?

Open Activity monitor in Utilities, go to the CPU tab>All Processes, and note any process that would appear to be related to importing photos, such as iPhoto, and use Force Quit. This may only be a temporary fix, as it may start all over again when you reboot. If that happens, we need to do some more investigating.
Also, close all open Applications, then open Terminal in Utilities and copy/paste and hit return, then post the output of this command.

I am trying to to upload my photos from iPhone4 (6.1.3) to iMac with Yosemite and iPhoto 9.6, but it's always the message "photos are being imported to the photo library" pop out without any photo being uploaded. (That forced me to force-quit iPhoto even when the phone is detached from iMac.)

Try the Image Capture application that comes with every Mac. It gives you a little more control over the import process.

Duplicates being imported on iPhoto version 9.5.1 help!!

I am using version 9.5.1 of iPhoto for mac and in the previous version I was able to check the box that stated to not import duplicates any time I connected my iphone. With the new version I am not able to have that option. I have used a 3rd party app to remove duplicates but it has missed many pictures that are duplicated.
Has anyone else had this problem with the newer version of iPhoto? If so, has anyone found a solution or the option to prevent duplicates being imported?

The latest version of iPhoto for Yosemite is 9.6. Go to the App Store and update your iPhoto application to it. Then check again.
This is a recent problem with iPhones, iOS 8 and iPhoto 9.6. Just search the iPhoto for Mac forum for "duplicate photos". So far there's not been a universal solution found. Read the various topics to see what others have tried in the way of fixes.

I want to handle multiple material numbers as import parameters.. I have tried using table types but having problem while reading the data....
My requirement is user will input say 10 materials , now i need to get all the information for that particular material ..
I am unable to use for all entries as it is saying that it is not internal table... I have found table types which is having sigon , option, low and high fields but user doesn't want it... He wants to enter only materials... Currently am using this MD_T_MATNR(table type)
I am stuck up here..

it looks like you are on a good way, just something little is missing. Type MD_T_MATNR is suitable for your issue. I have tried it and probably your problem is that You have to use
SELECT ... FOR ALL ENTRIES IN it_matnr WHERE mara~matnr EQ it_matnr~table_line.
instead of
SELECT ... FOR ALL ENTRIES IN it_matnr WHERE mara~matnr EQ it_matnr~matnr.
In this example I suppose that a name of your variable of type MD_T_MATNR is it_matnr. Problem is that table line is not structure, but data element, therefore You have to use ~table_line instead of ~matnr.

Use the Force Quit command under the Apple Menu.

I have been using iphoto 09 and am now unable to import photos from my camera. I get the message that they are being imported but after 10 minutes nothing has actually been imported.

I have just been trying to import photos from mine and my husbands cameras but nothing seems to be happening. I get the message to wait while they are being imported but after 10-15 minutes, nothing has been uploaded. I have always had updates downloaded when they become available and can't think what I may have done wrong.

As a Test:
Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there?
