NUOVO IPAD ed un cliente in meno ...

DOPO 3 MESI di ATTESA ad avere il NUOVO IPAD con retina display (il 3 per capirci), una volta arrivato dopo pochi minuti di uso ho esclamato !!! ERA MEGLIO IL VECCHIO ... ma APPLE è APPLE, risultato... dopo men odi TRE mesi che lo uso (64BG LTE o 4G o con telefono in quanto NON sann ocome definirlo) ... ecco che PER CASO vedendo la presentazione dell' IPAD MINI il connettore di ricarica è diverso dal mio !!! Che è sucesso ??? CHE LA CARA APPLE accortasi di aver fatto un nuovo BUCO NELL' ACQUA è corsa ai ripari, cercando di riparare errore fatto ... Ok, sbagliare sbagliano tutti, ma aver pagato quasi 900 euro un IPAD ed avere avuto un ciclo di vita di 3 mesi... NON HA SENSO.
Ho la gamma completa... ma ora

Ma sopratutto basta regalare altri soldi tramite APPLESTORE

Come hai detto 4 anni perlomeno nel campo elettronico sono un' "eternità", ma sopratutto è un a"pietra miliare", ma trovarsi un prodotto a meno di 7 mesi dal "DAY ONE" diventando "FANTASMA" in quanto prova a trovare le caratterische del modello sul sito APPLE... è stato uno sbaglio e lo sanno, ma NON lo ammetteno per una questione logica di soldi, anche ad andare via alla pari (se mi chiedessero 150 euro come una sostituzione ...) già mi andrebbe bene, ma purtroppo APPLE ha cambiato politica.
La cosa che mi scoccia di più sono tutte le APP pagate che dovrei riprendere per un'altra piattaforma ... che sia WINDOWS o ANDROID, per il resto ATTUALMENTE in rapporto QUALITA'/PREZZO è il PEGGIORE. anche con la "rottamazione" il 16Gb 250 euro qui potrebbe anche starci... ma un 64GB ti danno 25 euro in più del 16GB... ma quando compri ne vogliono 250 euro in più ...
Mi ritengo molto obiettivo, fino ad un paio di anni fa ESALTAVO APPLE, negli ultimi mesi la difendevo in quanto anche se NON era il TOP era affidabile e manteneva il prezzo grazie ad un marketing vincente...
Ma adesso ditemi perchè comprare ???
1 - HARDWARE e PRESTAZIONI PEGGIORI della concorrenza
2 - PREZZO a pari memoria oltre 35% dal modello più caro sul mercato senza contare gli "omaggi" della concorenza
3 - STATUS SIMBOL ??? ..... ORMAI lo hanno in mano tutti .... un po' come il vecchio NOKIA 3310 ma quello almeno costava 1/4 !!!
4 - Senza offesa per nessuno, essere "pecora" è seguire la massa, scegliere è essere obiettivo ed a volte cammbiare fa solo migliorare il mercato... continuare su questa strada APPLE prende solo per il **** gli utenti (esempio: dopo 4 anni di AZIONI LEGALI hanno "ammesso" i 24 mesi di garanzia) ...
Ne potrei scrivere altri, ma mi fermo qui.... THINK DIFFERENT non vuol dire THINK APPLE, ossia se solo ogni LUSTRO riesci a darmi qualcosa di INNOVATIVO, ben venga... nel frattempo sfrutto quanto possono averti copiato, intanto che la cara APPLE mescoli bene quanto a sua volta a COPIATO da altri, poi mettendo la loro INNOVAZIONE, sicutamente qualcosa di bello ne uscirà.
IN CONCLUSIONE, a mio giudizio se credi di essere "figo" e di avere in mano il miglior telefono ma sopratutto TE LO PUI PERMETTERE (ma minimo 32GB xchè il 16Gb in un mese non ha più spazio in memoria, fai bene) ma se ti piace HIGH TECH, ci sai smanettare IPHONE è ultimo telefono da comprare, ed in ogni caso il 50% del suo valore lo HAI BUTTATO IN PASTO al MARKETING !!!

Ho un problema con iCloud,:
possiedo 2 IPAD, un IPAD2 e un NUOVO IPAD. Non essendo piu' in possesso del IPAD2, volevo eliminare il backup su iCloud di questo ipad2, ma non riesco a farlo.
Non riesco a cancellarlo ne dall'IPAD NUOVO nè dal computer, tramite pannello icloud.
Vorrei eliminarlo per ripetere un nuovo backup "pulito" da mio nuovo IPAD.
Scusate se utilizzo questo canale ma gl'altri sembrano fuori servizio.

Nuovo ipad 2

Sono disgustato, ho comprato il 12 febbraio un ipad 32gb wifi 3g e dopo tre settimane annunciano l'uscita del nuovo ipad 2 allo stesso prezzo, se apple è una società seria, me lo auguro, dovrebbe almeno rimborsare i 100 euro di sconto che sta proponendo, o almeno rimborsare gli sfigati come me regalando l'assistenza x 2 anni o con altre cose, programmi accessori . Veramente sono deluso, da questa cosa spero che quelli come me insorgano nella speranza di vedere soddisfatte le nostre giuste richieste

per quanto riguarda ipad 1 vs ipad 2 credo che tu non abbia tanto da attaccare apple, quanto prendertela un po' più con te stesso.
Da sempre si sa che questi prodotti apple vengono rinnovati con cadenza annuale. Per l'iphone è Maggio/Giugno, per l'ipad è Marzo/Aprile. Anche io volevo comprare un ipad per natale, ma poi ho desistito perchè sapevo che sarebbe diventato vecchio nel giro di 3 mesi.
Secondo punto: alla fine, l'ipad 2 non è altro che un minor upgrade; vedrai che non ti perderai chissà cosa... Certo, sullo sconto o il refunding sono d'accordo con te, ci può stare e dovrebbero in qualche modo fartela avere, ma non ci crederei più di tanto.
In ogni caso, credimi, non penso che tu ti stia perdendo chissà quale figata, non è cambiato poi moltissimo.

When I press Icloud nothing happens. The videos are usually 5minutes to maybe 20 minutes. I need to send them insome kind of a compressed manner so it iseasy for my clients to open and watch. Thanks

Have you thought about uploading them to youtube? You can put things there up to 8 minutes long, and up to 15 if you get verified. You can also have them 'unlisted' which means they're not visible to anyone without the link.
I think your issue isn't as much that the videos are too long, it's that the file size is too big. I have a 3 minute video that I shot with my iPod that's 300 megs, and most mail programs max out at 25 megs.
There may also be options with vimeo or other video sharing programs that you can explore.

Impossibile avviare dati cellulare nuovo ipad

Salve ho un ipad di terza generazione da 32gb wifi + 4g,
ogni tanto ho riscontrato un insolito problema con la rete 3g, in
pratica anche se mi trovo in pieno campo 3g con TIM l'ipad non naviga
restiruendomi come messaggio di errore "impossibile attivare la rete
dati cellulare".
Ho provato di tutto dall'attivare la modalità aereo, disattivare e attivare i dati cellulare,
l'unica soluzione è riavviare l'ipad.
E' solo un mio problema o qualcuno ha il mio stesso problema???
Posso chiedere la sostituzione o no?

Aggiornamento della mia situazione:
mi hanno restituito l'iPad ed il problema si è ripresentato, quando passa da 3G a Edge o comunque in presenza di scarso campo, cioè non switchando da wifi.
Ho fatto resettare la sim dalla Tim ( anche se non aveva mai dato problemi con l'altro iPad ) ed il problema si è ripresentato.
Ho fatto un ripristino totale da iTunes com NUOVO dispositivo ( senza cioè ripristinare da backup ) ed il problema si è ripresentato.
Ho riportato l'iPad al premium reseller dal quale l'ho acquistato, pregando il commesso di aiutarmi a spiegare bene a quelli del laboratorio in cosa consiste il problema.
Se ne riparla la prossima settimana.

Nuovo IPad

Secondo voi e' giusto aver pagato l'Ipad2 a gennaio 485€ e oggi viene venduto a 399€ e il nuovo modello a 479????? Acquistato da mia moglie come regalo a Mediaworld gli veniva garantito che non perdeva di valore. Sono veramente indignato!!!! La cosa pero' più ridicola e' che mi e' arrivata via mail la proposta di acquisto di quello nuovo....lo farei volentieri se ritirassero il mio.

IPad IPSEC Cisco client - Additional route issue

I am unsure if this problem has come about in recent iOS releases, or just something thats only become aparent now because someone has tried to use. I've never had any complaints prior to the last month or so.
When connecting to a VPN configuration on a Cisco router (which previously didnt work but has for about a year I guess), the iPad recieves additional routes just fine, as it should, but does not seem to work with them.
For example I have 2 networks
192.168.200.0/24
10.0.10.0/24
In my ACLs on the router I add both networks, and I have confirmed with an app on my ipad that it gets both routes. They have the exact same flags, mtu, and gateway.I can get to the 192.168.200.0/24 network, but not the 10.0.10.0/24 network, even though my network tools software says the correct route is in use. Its almost as if it is not encrypted
If i reverse the ACLs order, so i have the route to the 10.0.10.0/24 network first, then that network will work, and the 192.168.200.0/24 network will NOT, despite the route tables looking EXACTLY the same as the first instance.
If I connect via a PC cisco client, works fine. All routes work.
I've had reports (that I have yet to confirm as I do not have a Mac) that the built in VPN client in MacOS has the same issue, but the Cisco supplied VPN client has no issue.
It seems like its an issue with the apple OS software, but am open to suggestion - Anyone got any ideas?

I know you don't have an ASA, but I just want to be clear about the information you've given so no one is misled. The ASA5500-SSL-25 license is a premium license, and with that one gets:

If one didn't want all that then one wouldn't it, and I didn't. I bought an unlimited anyconnect essentials license and mobile option for my 5520 for no more than $250 USD for both, and unlimited on a 5520 means 250 users since that is the max it can handle. On the Cisco ISR G2 routers, they're quite expensive units and I think licensing is higher.
But as far as the main point of discussion here, the real issue is that though IPsec will be around for years to come in site-to-site and dmvpn scenarios, on clients it is another story especially mobile. Apple collaborated with Cisco on the IPsec client for iOS because of the complexity of IPsec clients and that it had to work to drive iOS acceptance. That it took Now that SSL VPN client software has matured, it is only a matter of time before Apple yanks IPsec VPN from iOS altogether, and I wouldn't be surprised if they aren't as speedy about fixing bugs in the iOS built-in client as they once may have been. SSL VPNs are lighter and easier to install on mobile clients and it is not in Apple or Cisco's interest to support IPsec on the client on all platforms indefinitely (Cisco only grudgingly added Win64 support somewhat recently). It isn't perfect, but installing the client is much easier for our users to do, doesn't require a reboot on Windows or pre-10.6 Macs, and it unifies the experience across all platforms. I'm not even one to jump on the "latest thing" bandwagon normally, but even at the higher ISR router cost to get SSL VPN I'd have done it just from a user support perspective alone. If you can eliminate client support costs then there is a cost savings to me and my users that I factor in.

My serial number also starts with DLXH, but I have no problems connecting to 3G if I'm not logged into my Wi-Fi network.
Did you try to set it up as new device, without using the latest backup and only the default apps installed?
Did you check if your SIM card supports 3G on the new iPad?

I have recently started using an iPhone 4 and I have been using the iPad 3rd gen. for almost a year. The only contacts that I have on my iPad are my clients, but I don't want them on my phone. How can I either make a group file for my clients or stop them from syncing to my phone all together?

Can I export/share a line file from free CC as pdf or illus cs2 file so client can view/edit?

I can't find a clear answer to this really simple question so I hope someone here can help me.
I haven't purchased my ink and slide yet, or used any of the creative cloud software. Before I do I want to make sure I understand what I can share with Line and the free level of CC. I want to use them for a particular client who is still old school. So... If I have a drawing created in Line on my ipad and a client with an older macbook pro, still running CS2 (so osx 10.6.8), and I have an ipad with Line and a free Creative Cloud membership (but no CC versions of Adobe software other than Line), is it possible to:
send her a pdf she can open and print?
send her a file she can open/edit/print in CS2?
send her anything she can open and/or edit and/or print?
Print something I can mail to her.
I guess I'm basically asking: what are my limitations for sharing/printing Line drawings with only the free CC membership?

Short answer is No.
Be aware the free level of CC is for CCStorage only. Although they don't mention it you need a Creative Cloud Subscription (which includes all their pro desktop applications) to export Vectors.
If your friend has a CC subscription you might ask her to log in using her details and transfer the files that way

How do i restrict access on ipad for public use?

My employer would like to set up Ipads in each office to display our advertizements and products as well as play informative videos.
Eventually we would also like to be able to set up access on the ipads for the clients to type in their personal info and submit quote requests electronically.
However, we want to be able to restrict the access so that the public are only able to view and access specific apps or websites that we have chosen.
also if anyone has a recommendation on an app that provides a pausable slideshow for displaying documents that would be helpful as well.

One option would be to investigate an MDM such as AirWatch. Devices can be placed in Single App Mode, or setup with a restricted browser. You can also display business content on your devices.

Can we connect the ipads with Oracle ERP ?

To connect the SC-2040 and the ER-8 to the PCI-MIO-16E-1 you will need to use a SC-2050.
You will connect the PCI-MIO-16E-1 to the SC-2050 J1 connector with an SH-6850 cable. Then use the J2 connector on the SC-2050 to connect to the SC-2040 and the digital connector to connect to the ER-8.
