O aplicativo de rádio presente no Firefox OS, senti a falta de diversos recursos como gravação de rádio, personalizar lista de rádio e busca automática?

Existe muitos aplicativos de rádio em aparelhos low-end com recursos básicos como busca automática de estações, gravação de rádio e edição de lista de estações que não estão presentes, a alguma previsão para esses recursos se tornarem disponíveis?

Realmente nessas primeiras versões muitos recursos "básicos" não existem ou se existem são muito fracos ainda, mas por hora o que podemos fazer é esperar que em atualizações futuras hajam melhorias nos Apps.

Bugs present in Firefox 4's basic behavior that weren't in or were fixed in Firefox 3?

As a web developer, I encounter some quirks between browsers so I do expect having some inconsistencies along the way.
However, I do expect that by 'upgrading' from Firefox 3 to 4, I won't bump into issues that weren't around in the version 3 branch.
Note that for this test I disabled all addons, so unless the Web Developer Toolbar changes the browser beyond the scope of what can be disabled by disabling the add-on, I'm expecting these issues to be Firefox itself.

Hey there. I had the same problem and I noticed the little white box went away when I was using the foxtab add-on. Then it came back after I stopped using it.
I disabled foxtab and haven't seen the little box since. I think it's a glitch with the add-on.
Before completely re-installing your browser as suggested above, I'd check to see if you have foxtab and try disabling it first Best, -T

Javascript (or some plugin) issues present in Firefox 8 but not Chrome.

Not sure if this is a Javascript issue or what, but here are some of my issues:
* Facebook: cannot close notification tab after I open it.
* Tumblr: cannot expand images in posts on my dashboard; preexisting text in forms (such as the tags form when making a new post) does not go away. This "typeover" error exists on other pages as well.
* Reddit: cannot enter the subreddit in a post; logging in from the main page results in error
This hasn't been a persistent problem; it just started today. I tried reinstalling Firefox and restarting my computer, but the issues are still present.
I don't have any of these problems in Chrome. Is this an issue Javascript and/or other plugins? When I disable Javascript, these problems don't exactly go away - the aforementioned features just don't work.

Dilemma presented by Firefox automatic update

I just received a message offering to update my Firefox. But the message said the update is incompatible with my Webroot 1.72.0 add-on (a security and backup app). But "as soon as they are made comptible, Firefox will update and re-enable these add-ons". This is ambiguous. Does it mean Firefox will make them compatible for me and then perform its update? Does it mean it will simply wait for Webroot to supply an updated version of its add-on and not update Firefox till then? Or does it mean (contrary to the literal meaning but you never know) that Firefox will proceed with it update and leave me to get a compatible version of Webroot if one exists? (If the person answering this is another user just like me, how do you know? Do you have a close enough relationship to the designers of this Firefox update to speak with authority?)

hello, automatic updates happen over an encrypted secure connection with a update server at mozilla - downloaded pieces of update are checked for integrity and won't be installed otherwise. this is no infection vector for malware...
also updates won't change your settings in most cases. you didn't describe in particular what kind of setting changed but if its the homepage or your search provider this is usually a sign of adware/malware present on a system:
#please go to the firefox ''menu ≡ > addons > extensions'' & remove any suspicious entries (toolbars, things that you have not installed intentionally, don't know what purpose they serve, etc).
#also go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there.

My personal bookmark page is missing although all others are still present in Firefox 3.6.16 - windows xp operating system. How can I restore my personal bookmarks?

To the Adobe Flash team,
I noticed that the Flash ActiveX control supports referer
when the flash control is requesting a URL. I thought that the
firefox flash plugin would work the same, but I was wrong about

How can I use superscript in math problems presented on Firefox

Working in KahnAcademy.org, there are math videos to explain an issue and then trial problems to test learning. In the Pre-Algebra section there are some videos regarding logarithms, To write a logarithm one needs to write a number with its exponent. A 2 for squared, 3 for cubed etc. To write the exponent it should be in superscript.
I need to be able to write the exponent wherever I write something when within Firefox.

I have installed Firefox 5.0.1 and need administrator rights to run it and have lost my list of bookmarks.

Recently, I upgraded to Firefox 5.0.1. I now require administrator rights to run it. If I start Firefox with ordinary user rights, I am presented with an error message which says that sqlite3.dll is missing from my computer. This file is actually present in three locations on my computer. However, Firefox runs if I start it with administrator rights.
The spell checker no longer works, my list of bookmarks, which was quite extensive, has now disappeared. Also, my history has disappeared too. A security package which I used when
accessing my bank account has also disappeared. This was called Rapport.

Do a clean reinstall.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

I can no longer attach files in Yahoo mail since upgrading to FireFox 4.0.1. I click the "attach" button and nothing happens - no file list to select from appears; nothing.

Since upgrading to Firefox 4.0.1 the "attach files" function in my Yahoo Mail account no longer functions. When I click the "attach files" button nothing happens - nothing. No file selection box opens, no error message appears, no pinwheel of death, nothing.
The "attach files" button is no longer 'hot' in FF 4.0.1 either = the "little hand" icon does not appear when I scroll over it. Other action buttons are still 'hot' ("attachments", "emoticons", "format", "hide bcc"etc.) - just not the "attach files" button.
The Yahoo Mail "attach files" function still works when I use my Safari browser, however. So, it appears to be a FF4.0.1 issue.

Firefox crash reporter comes up every time I try to start it. It won't open in safe mode. I deleted firefox per your instructions including in the programs files. I restarted computer and downloaded firefox to my computer desktop. I reinstalled and now I can't get it to open at all. The firefox crash reporter just comes up. I like fire fox better than internet explorer but if someone can't help me I will have to use it.

Hello, i dont know if you installed the windows update, but if you installed the Windows Update, is te cause of the Mozilla Firefox crash.
I restored my system from before the upgrade and magic! It was the mistake, after you reinstall from 0 my Mozilla Firefox in Safe Mode only opens, and now opens normally.

You appear to be using the Developer Edition / Aurora pre-release version, which creates a new Profile upon installation or update on the Aurora channel. Open '''Options > General''' and tick or untick the box at the top which says '''Allow Firefox Developer Edition and Firefox to run at the same time'''. Once you restart ''[as told to]'' you will "toggle" over to the other Profile, where your bookmarks are - ''hopefully''.
If you don't like "updates", why are you using an '''alpha-2''' version that receives an update every day?

I have uninstalled Firefox through the add/remove section of the control panel, and it is no longer listed, but it is still on my computer. Both regular firefox and firefox portable are still usable on my computer, and the uninstalls for neither work.

I'm using firefox 3.6.11, and windows xp. I've manually searched the uninstall prompts in the firefox folder, but they do not work.
I need to uninstall firefox as it uses more of my memory, especially with the new plug-in bin container, and my little netbook just can't handle it. (Hence why I tried installing the portable version, but whenever I try to use it the main firefox starts up as well - even though I have uninstalled it).
