OA Tutorial Create Page pt2 - Where is data saving?

Hello!
I am working through the framework tutorials in jDeveloper. I am running 9.0.3.12.25 with OA 11i. I am currently in Chapter 2: Core Lessons, on the Create - Part 2 tutorial. Everything seems to be working ok...I can create an Employee and search for them and view them in the LOVs and the results. Here is my question - where should this data be saving? My EmployeeEO shows AK.FWK_TBX_EMPLOYEES for Schema Object. My EmployeeFullVO is based on a query that is pulling from AK.FWK_TBX_EMPLOYEES. However when I query this table, I am not seeing any new employees being created - just the original 7 that were seeded. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where else I should be looking?
Again - I am not getting any errors when I create the new employee. I can then return to my Search page and query up the Employee that I just created, as well as employees that I created yesterday. The only other odd behavior that I am seeing is that the Full Name is not being displayed, but all other fields are. Also, I am extremely new to the OAF, so please bear with me :)

Please check with the DBC file ,and the database u connected to ,verify that u are quering the database from backend and entry in dbc file is same .

its from icloud contacts. I select all and then go to export to a vcard and then nothing happens.

Tutorial creating page references

I am sure that MacUser (UK) had a tutorial recently that showed how to create reference words in a document like in a dictionary, this is where, when looking at a double page spread, the top left hand corner of the left hand page shows the first word of that page. The top right hand corner of the right hand page shows the last word of that page.
I know it was created using Paragraph styles and possibly a script of some kind but I can't find the tutorial anywhere and I really need to use it on a project I am working on.
Can someone point me in the direction of a tutorial that will allow me to do this?

How can I create a diagram where equal data from different cells will be added to one sector?

I'm a new Mac user, so I have a lot of problems and questions every day. Moving to Mac from PC is not an easy thing)
Here is my problem:
I need to create a few diagrams for my science work, but can't correct one mistake. Every time one data from one cell from the table takes its own place in the diagram. But I need to ceparate equal data to show it is one section.
An example:
Sex
Age
Female
18
Female
18
Female
18
Female
25
Female
30
We need to create a diagram to show that we have
60% - 18 years
20% - 25 years
20% - 30 years
But Numbers doesn't show it that way. Here how it does:

Some example data of people and their age:
The COUNTIF function will give the number of people of each age.
In another table, B2 contains this formula (and Fill Down to the bottom of B)
=COUNTIF(Table 1::B,"="&A2)
In this example, 3 people are 18 years old, 0 people are 19 years old, and so on. Use this table to calculate each age as the % of the total, then use that as the data for your diagram (graph, chart).

Are you referring to using Migration Assistant in target disk mode?
If so the data that is transferred will be placed in the locations it belongs in. That is applications (for example) will be in the Applications folder and user data will be in the user accounts.
If that's not what you were asking post back with a clearer description.

It depends. 'Mass storage' mode connects the phone in such a way, that the memory card of the phone simulates external USB flash drive. You can then view all the folders on the memory card just as you can for a flash stick. Thus if you're using Explorer, it will be placed wherever you paste it on the memory card. If you use Application Installer, though, you will be asked upon installation on the phone where to install - internal memory or memory card.

Error while running Create page in standalone-oc4j

I have an ADF Create page (CreateAppt.jsp) that works fine through jdeveloper 10.1.3, but does not work when i deploy and run it on a standalone-oc4j. Appreciate your ideas on what may cause this or debugging tips..
My ADF application flows through two pages:
a List page (ListAppts.jsp has a Create button) -> a Create Page (CreateAppt.jsp)
When I click on the Create button on the List page, I arrive at the Create Page.
When I run through jdeveloper, I see that all input fields in the Create page are empty, which is what I expect. However, when I open the same page on standalone-oc4j, all the input fields are populated with the first row in the List Page, and there is an error:
JBO-25009: Cannot create an object of type:oracle.jbo.domain.Number with value:oc4jadmin
For input string: "o"
I designed the Create page using the generic Data Control Palette, by dragging the VO and dropping it with this option: Create->Forms->ADF Creation Form
When running through standalone-oc4j, why is the Create page populated? and how is the standalone-oc4j login string, "oc4jadmin", used in the create?

Hi,
this sounds strange and cannot be diagnosed from remote. If it works in JDeveloper with the embedded OC4J then is works the same in stand alone OC4J. Having "oc4jadmin" showing seems that you look up a value from the request and assign it to the application. Note that you don't need to be logged in to OC4J to see ADF faces apps running.
The problem seems to be in your application. Can you reproduce this with a simple testcase?

I queried in DB the data are not present in the table.
But i have the following code in my AM.

As per the instruction from Tutorial the above mentioned code should do the commit. I have also checked the above code is getting executed in the code.
Please tell me what shall i do to commit the transaction.

How do i save a calender i have created with the photo and the dates saved on separate pages?

how do i save a calender i have created in photoshop with the photo and the dates saved as two separate pages? when i save as pdf or jpeg they are authomatically saving 1 pg with the photo and dates on one page. This is causing problems when i print.

Hi there, in case your printer cannot print very large, you can also crop down two versions and print them as separate documents.
1) Create a guide where you would like to split the pages by clicking on the ruler (hit command R if they are not showing) and dragging to the desired area.
Creating the guide will make it so you can be precise in the way you split up your page, and so that no part of the image will be repeated or lost.
2) Select the Crop Tool and fit the crop area to the top half of your calendar, using the guide you've just made to snap to the right spot. Hit return to finalize the crop.
3) Go to File > Save As. Name the file something like calendar_top and select the desired file format. Hit "Save."
4) Once you get back to your calendar file, Go to the History panel and select "Drag Guide." This will take you back to the step before you cropped the image.
5) Repeat the steps as before for the bottom half of the calendar, once again using the guide to help you make your crop area.
So then you would just print each of the two pages individually. The images will not be contained within one document, but if you have Acrobat you could combine the files.

Apex file loader 4.1 create page error: ORA-01403: no data found

I am trying to create a page where csv files can be uploaded using the wizard in Apex 4.1.0.00.32
However after completing the wizard and pressing the finish button, the following message shows up:
Error Error creating page .
ORA-01403: no data found
All I can do then is press an OK button which takes me back to the summary screen before submitting.
I've already tried the wizard using other tables, empty and ones with data in it, but with the same result.
The strange thing is that I have used the wizard with success, but now it won't work anymore in this application.
The other strange thing is that the wizard is still working for other application within the same workspace, even on the same table...
Anyone has got any ideas to fix this (making a new application from scratch is my last resort considering the amount of work I've already put into this one)

Alright, I got the wizard working again. This is how:
By doing some searching on google I found that the errorlogs of Apache are logged in the folder: apache\apache\logs\
I found that there were some error logs in there that created new lines each time I used the wizard:

So I figured maybe if I copy the existing apex_builder_4_1.css in the folder and rename it to apex_builder_4_0.css it would work.
After doing that the error messages stopped in the error log, but still the wizard failed.
After that I changed the theme of the application and the wizard started working again!
Don't no what will happen when I change the theme back to the one I was using, maybe I will try that later.
For now I am happy!

Full Load DTP is not creating outbound file where there is no data in DSO.

Hi folks!
We have created a Open Hub Destination on one DSO. That DSO is having 10 millions data.
We have created a Full updated DTP to create a file with some selections. In DSO there is not data with that selections.
I like to know, wether the file is created when ther is no data or not for Full update DTP. For Delta update is creating file even though there is no data as per the selections.
Pelase clarify me ASAP.

Hi Peter,
Please check the DTP Selections. if there is no data with these selections then you will get a blank.
as per Open hub destination it will create 2 files one is infobject list file where all the infoobjects like char's and key figure list is maintained.
then another file with the data of the infoobject with DTP selections.
Check for the selections in DTP.

The Entity expert needs to be added to the EO as a class file. Please open the EO wizard and associate the Entity expert class file to it.
