OAM Customized form in IIS 7 with passthrough = yes

Hi all,
Currently I have to create a customized form for OAM in IIS7. Due to specific requirement, user after authenticated will be redirected to another ASP page for post-login handling, before he/she can be redirected back to original request. I'm quite struggling in how to configure the Authentication method and the form properly.
With my current setup, after authenticated, user can be redirected to the post-login ASP page. But all parameter pass from the form is lost. This is my configuration:
Authentication method in OAM:
Challenge Parameter:
action:/access/oblix/apps/webgate/bin/webgate.dll
creds:userid password
passthrough:yes
form:/login.asp
and this is my login form:
<form action="/access/oblix/apps/webgate/bin/webgate.dll?http://mydomain.com/header.asp" method="post">
Username: <input type="text" name="userid" />
Password: <input type="password" name="password" />
<input type="hidden" name="success_callback_url" value="http://mydomain.com/iisstart.htm"/>
<input type="submit" value="Submit" />
</form>
With this configuration, once user authenticated, he/she will be redirected to
/access/oblix/apps/webgate/bin/webgate.dll?http://mydomain.com/header.asp
and after that Firefox recognizes:
Failed to load source for: http://mydomain.com/access/oblix/apps/webgate/bin/webgate.dll?http://mydomain.com/header.asp
and redirect me back to
http://mydomain.com/header.asp
So once I reach http://mydomain.com/header.asp, all POST data has been lost (during redirection).
I wonder how can I configure it, so that http://mydomain.com/header.asp can have post data from the form
Thank you so much.

Hi Harry,
I am afraid webgate can not post the original form to the next page.
when you post a form to /access/../webgate.dll.. webgate consumes the form and does AuthN/AuthZ...
and it will not post the form to the next page.
I am not 100% sure, though I feel this is possible
create a custom AuthN/AuthZ plugin, here you can read your form parmeters.
based on the form parameters, you can decide what you want to do next, like redirecting to a success page or failure page.

  • How to close a custom form from CUSTOM.pll

    Dear Friends,
We need your help on the following issue related to Oracle Apps Forms.
We have a requirement to show a popup message (message should remain open and user should be able to continue working in the order entry form. User use this message as a reference while entering order details) when user enters a customer name or number in the order entry form . This is similar to the Stock Availability form which gets opened automatically when control enters into Order Entry Lines form, where the stock availability form remains open while entering line details.
To fullfil the requirement, we have designed a custom form with a single text field in which the message text (some customer information) will be shown.
We are using custom.pll to call this custom form (thru FND_FUNCTION.EXECUTE) when the control leaves customer number field. User could leave this custom form open and continue with entering order details. Till this point we could achieve what we want. i.e. we could show the popup message in the custom form after user enters a customer number.
The problem is, after the custom form is opened, when we enter a new order for different customer, we need to close the custom form (which is opened for the previous customer) if the customer is not qualified.
we could not achieve this. We tried using CLOSE_FORM, CLOSE_WINDOW, but did not help.
Any body have any suggestions on achieving this... Basically, we need your help to know how we can close the custom form from CUSTOM.pll.
    Thanks,
    Uma

I thing you haven't any (supported) option to close a form via custom.pll.
For a long time, we have search a solution for the same problem without any result.

  • ORA-01403 no_data_found when saving the record in the custom form

My custom form has 2 windows with 3 blocks. The first window has the BATCH block while the second window contains the HEADERS and LINES blocks. User go to first window, enter the batch info and save the record with no issue. Now user go to second window, enter the header info and save. Now we have the ORA-01403 no_data_found error. My custom form only have few SQLs and I put exception blocks on all of them but no_data_found still shows.
Besides explicitly-used SQL statements, I wonder where else may have triggered the NO_DATA_FOUND error?
    Thanks, Mike.

    Hi!
If an exception is raised in forms and an exception handler
tries to show the dbms_error_text function, you will get
the ORA-01403 no_data_found message too, if there is no database error.

  • Outlook 2013 with Exchange Server - Changed custom form for contacts is not shown

    Hello,
    Our infrastructure:
    Exchange Server 2010
    Outlook 2010
    Outlook 2013
Windows 7 Pro, Windows 8 Pro and Windows 8.1 Pro
    The situation:
We've used an old custom form for contacts, worked perfectly fine
I've updated the form (adding some new custom fields and checkboxes) using Outlook 2013 and publishing the form (with a new name) to the Exchange folder
I've set the form as default form in our contacts folder
I've used this Script to set the new form for the existing contacts  and the name of the new form is saved correctly
BUT if I open a contact in our Exchange contacts folder, Outlook 2013 (Outlook 2010) still shows the old form
    Steps I've taken so far:
    Cleared Outlook forms cache
Repeated the above steps 1-4 in Outlook 2010
Switched Cached Exchange Mode off and back on
Allowed Scripts in Trust Center Settings
Used a new clean Windows installation with a new Outlook 2013 installation
Used different Exchange users on different systems, but some behavior when opening contacts
I'm out of options I can think of, so maybe somebody else has some new view on this problem.
Thank you very much in advance!
    Greetings,
    Karl

    Hi,
Is the Exchange folder in which the custom form is published available to all users?
From the description, the script used to work for the old custom form, correct? Which version of Outlook did you use with the old custom contact form? Outlook 2010/Outlook 2013 or an earlier version? If you used the script with an earlier version of Outlook,
we can't make sure it will still work with Outlook 2010/Outlook 2013.
In addition we may also try creating a new contact form and test the steps to see if it will work.
Please let me know the result.

  • Custom forms (with Headstart), issues.  Prompted more than once to save/commit.

We have found that after analyzing the APPS schema (for CBO), we
have an issue with custom forms. This issue relates to an
earlier post on this forum where we get prompted several times
to save/commit our changes and that the changes are never
submitted. We've narrowed it down to the QMS_TRANSACTIONS
    table, when ever we run...
    analyze table apps.QMS_TRANSACTIONS estimate statistics;
    Table analyzed.
Our custom forms will stop working. Why is this? So far we've
found the only work around is to drop all Headstart objects and
run the scripts to recreate the objects in the APPS schema.

    Michael,
This might be a similar problem as they have experienced in
    Japan. Their problem description is as follows;
-At the beginning, the transaction can be committed from the
    screen.
-After analyzing APPS schema, it becomes impossible to commit the
    transaction.
    This problem is reproduceable in following condition;
    -Use Oracle 8i 8.1.7.x.
-Set '_push_join_union_view' parameter to true. (Set by Rapid
    Installer of EBS)
-Analyze the schema that has qms_transactions table.
This problem seems to be caused by DB bug (Bug no 2058756).
If this is indeed your problem a workaround has been described to
set the event 10195 before analyzing the table.
    Hope this helps.

  • Issue with Custom Form opening in Oracle apps

    Hello,
I am not sure if this is correct place for this question.
    Hi,
I have created a custom form and tested in forms 6i. I have moved the fmb and fmx files from my local machine to unix box and registered the form in oracle apps (11.5.10).
However, when I open the form from oracle apps, form opens OK but some of the field in form are blacked out-I am able to see the field but its black in color. When I type in field and highlight it with my mouse, the value I typed shows up.
    What can be issue here?
I moved both fmb and fmx from my local machine to UNIX box.
    Please help...

    NV,
Have you resolved your issue? I've run into this before. I failed to subclass all of my objects properly from the APPSTAND.fmb in accordance with the [Oracle Applications Developers Guide | http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B25516_18/current/acrobat/115devg.pdf]. If you have your items subclassed correctly, double check to make sure your Forms Builder is using the correct color pallet.
    Hope this helps.

  • Display an XML file Content as a treeView in a SharePoint 2013 custom form edited with SharePoint Designer 2013

    Hello everyone,
Within a list form, user has to select a value amongst a huge number of availables options.
Instead of using something like a dropdown list, which would be very boring to parse, I would like to display possibles values in a treeview.
To do that, I tried to use an <Sharepoint:SPTreeView bind to a SharePoint:SPXmlDataSource who read data from an XML File.
    <SharePoint:SPXmlDataSource runat="server" DataFile="../../SiteAssets/App_Data/myfile.xml" AutoSave="True" XPath="" ID="myDataXml"></SharePoint:SPXmlDataSource>
    <SharePoint:SPTreeView runat="server" ID="MyTreeView" DataSourceID="myDataXml" />
But when I try to display the form in my web browser, an error occurs.
Therefore, my question is : Is it possible to display the content of an Xml file as a treeView in a SharePoint 2013 custom form edited with SharePoint Designer 2013 ?
If the answer is yes, how ? Which are the required properties for "SharePoint:SPXmlDataSource" tag and "SharePoint:SPTreeView"  tag ?
What are the requirements to use thoses tags ?
    Regards,
    Florian.
Ps : I dont have access to the server side of the SharePoint site I am working on.

Assuming that https://fullsitename is a new URL address did you make sure to update your browser to include it in the Trusted Sites zone?  The message you are quoting is exactly the one you get if you don't have it in Trusted Sites.

  • Problem in integration of custom Forms with Oracle POS 13.2

    Hi All,
I am working on POS 13.2 and it is currently configured with Ingenico signature capture device i6580. This device supports 5 services Pinpad service, signature capture service, line display service, msr service and FORMService.
Form service is used to display all the custom forms (welcome form, thank you form etc) on the device. The same formservice is not supported by the device isc250 which need to be integrated.
Could you please help me how can i display welcome or thankyou form on the device?
    Thanks!
    Arun

    Peter,
unfortunately you can't call into a running Forms application. This will be addressed in a future release of Forms (don't ask me for the version of it because calling into Forms with JavaScript requires us to handle asynchronous events first). For now all you can do is to write an separate Applet that creates s ocket connection to a Java Bean running in Forms on teh Web. This is a bit of a hack and may have a security impact. I am forwarding this thread to some of my collegues who knows this better than I do.

  • I am trying to integrate my mailing list with a custom form to create an e ticket for my membership

I am trying to integrate my mailing list with a custom form, in order to create an E ticket for my membership.
Is there a way of doing this with the Adobe Custom Forms? Thank you NAK

Integration of a mailing list is not a supported function of Formscentral. Additionally it might be difficult to authenticate and properly transmit e-tickets to your groups using Formscentral alone. For this type of transaction workflow I would suggest you look to our Livecycle product for a solution.

  • IPad 2 Contacts sync with Exchange server and change Outlook custom form

Following iPad synchronizing Contacts, we find that our custom form in Outlook is pushed back to the Microsoft default “IPM:Contact”.
It appears that only the first 500 [approximation] contacts are affected. There are 5k contacts and we are seeing no other patterns.
We are not expecting an iOS Contact will resemble that of MS-Contacts, at the same time we are puzzled how iPad is rejecting and then causing ActiveSync to force change to the Exchange server.
Has anyone else experienced this, and can perhaps recommend a workaround?
    Environment
MAC iPad2 iOS v4.3.5 attached using ActiveSync
    Exchange 2003 SP2
Users are with either Outlook 2003, 2007, or 2010
    Thank you very much.
    Best Regards.

I'm excited to finally sync my work email with my iPhone. Our IT didn't support it and we work off of an Exchange server. I, too, was nervous about which contacts to sync. While I want my work email, I don't need my contacts and would rather have mine from my mac at home. Unfortunately, you can only do one at a time. The following paragraph is from a c net review. Find the entire article here (the part about the Exchange Server is about 1/2 way down):
    http://reviews.cnet.com/apple-iphone-3g/
//Once you're ready to go, the iPhone will sync your Outlook e-mail, contacts, and calendar. Be advised that while the iPhone can support multiple POP3 accounts at once (two Yahoo accounts, for instance), it syncs with only one Exchange server and, worse, with only with one calendar or contacts list at a time. If you have a separate personal calendar, your work calendar will replace it once you start the sync. (You'll be notified before it happens.)//
    Hope this helps!

  • Creating custom form with content type list - Shaepoint 2013 list

    Hi All,
I have a list with a content type. So basically i have the default content type and another custom one.
I would like to customize the forms and taught of using sharepoint designer.
Is this a good approach or is it better using infopath.
When i try using infopath i don't know how i can using content type to create forms.
I basically have 2 forms based on the content types how can i separate this when using custom forms and what would be the best practice?
    Cheers and thanks in advance

    Hi Patrick,
According to your description, you want to create a form for each content type in a custom list with multiple content types. Is it right?
If we use Infopath to customize forms for a list with multiple content types, it only customizes the default content type, the forms for other content types don't have changes.
For your requirement, I suggest you use SharePoint Designer to create forms for content types.
