OBIEE 11g Report UI not showing data

Hi,
On Obiee 11g Report, the query hit by the report at the backend shows results for all the columns but on UI only few of these columns show the data. From Query log, when I run the same query in the database I see all columns have data which is somehow not showing up on the UI end. What could be the problem? Can this be resolved or is it a bug in the OBIEE 11g?

I was checking for solution/suggestions in blogs, but unfortunately i couldn't find much information in blogs too....
Can you help me out to cross this hurdle, as this issue is in Production.

PLD Report does not show data from Query

Hello,
SAP b1 9.0 PL08 on MSSQL 2008 and I get data on the query, but when the PLD prints, it shows nothing. Is there a way to filter the data that the PLD shows? Does PLD have its own SQL script it uses b/c its not showing data from the query.

Report designer not showing data.

Hi Experts,
I have created a web-template in WAD and set it as default web-template for all the reports and queries, from the transaction RSCUSTV27, restarted the J2EE engine.
When I run a query from Query Designer is shows all the required data and the web-template format finely. But when I create a report in Report Designer using that query, it only shows the standard template for the reports, but not the data. Is it a issue with the Support Package? Or what? Please find me the way to resolve this problem.

Report does not show data , but data exists in the cube.

Hi All,
I have a situation where I could not show the data in the report. When I load data from an extractor 0CO_OM_WBS_1 into a Cube directly I am able to show the data in my report. When I load the same extractor to a DSO and from the DSO when I load it into the Cube, the data does not show up in the query. To check the data I use the same restriction and could see the data reside in the cube (LISTCUBE). I compressed the requests, still it is not showing up in the query. No aggregates create on the cube.
It shows the data if I load directly from the extractor, but not when I load data thru DSO.
Any ideas.

I am facing same problem, i have data in cube but in report i cant see....
i have created a generic DS, i loaded the data to DSO then CUBE.
data is loaded succesfully and i can see data in CUBE ( Manage ), when i am running the repory i am not getting data.
i think you solve this issue... plz help me to resolve this issue.

Web Analytics reports and not showing data

Recently we are not seeing Web Analytics data on our sites in our SharePoint 2010 farm. Before we used to see the data. This is what we are seeing now "There is no data available for this report. Here are some possible
reasons: (1) Web Analytics has not been enabled long enough to generate data;
(2) There is insufficient data to generate this report; (3) Data logging
required for this report might not be enabled; (4) Data aggregation might not be
enabled at the level required for this report."
I checked the Web Analytics Service Application and it is started. Web Analytics Data Processing service is started on all servers.
Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Usage Data Import Timer job is running every 30 minutes, while Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Usage Data Processing job is disabled. Does this job has to be
enabled for the web analytics data to be reported? Are there any other places to check to debug the problem? Appreciate any help.

The timer job Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Usage Data Processing needs to be enabled, as it will aggregates and writes the data to the Web Analytics Reporting database.
Please enable this timer job and run the timer job to see how it works.

OBIEE 11g login page not showing

what url do you use? And what port? I use (for BI answer) http://obiee-vm:7001/analytics. Port *7001* not 9001. It works for everything. http://obiee-vm:7001/em and so on.

The problem is the field okc_article_versions.article_text storage data with HTML tags as an example : ''COMPANY will make it’s best effort to provide an accurate forecast to CONTRACTOR, at the end of every quarter, however, a forecast in any form, shall not represent a firm commitment by COMPANY.,"
So when i tried to show the information my .rtf template nothing comes out. Does anybody knows whats happenig and how to resolve it??

BI publisher report is not showing all the data

Hi All,
I have created a report using BI Publisher in R12. The report is not showing all the records.
I have checked the result XML it is also not having all the data. My query returns 846 rows but my report only has 662 rows.
what might be the issue.please give me some idea to resolve this issue.

ToolTip in OBIEE 11G Reports when we hover on its data!!

Hello gurus,
I have a requirement where I have to display ToolTip in OBIEE 11G reports when one hovers on its data. For example, If I have a column in a report which displays "serial no." say the data in column is 1,2,3,4,5 etc. when I hover on 1, it should display name corresponding to it. when I hover on 2, it should display another name.
These values which will be displayed on hover action can be hardcoded, they are static values.

BI Projects Report Not showing data

I am a new to BI.I am trying to configure BI for Oracle Projects.So the problem here is couple of reports are not loading data on dashboard.
The issue is with Most of report that use data from Organization table
1.My BI is integrated with EBS.(I am wondering id HR security has anything to do with same)
2.Is there any step that should taken care while configuration?
3.Currently my log level is 3,But I am not able to see the query in Manage session.Show that I can get more information on specific table which is causing the query to return no data

The query is having some restrictions in the filter area. And also there are 2 conditions in the query.
I am checking the Multiprovider data with the tcode LISTCUBE. I am giving all the selections and the restrictions in the Multiprovider , some data is there in the multiprovider.
But in report its not showing any data.
Where shall I check, whetehr I need to check the MultiProvider assignment characterstics?

We have a report which is built on Multi Provider.
This Multi Provider is using 2 global restricted KF's and we have some filter values also.
The report is not displaying any values , while the Multi Provider has values for the same restrictions
I tried to execute it in RSRT,but its not giving us any idea.

Bex report does not show loaded data at once

Hi experts,
Why Bex report does not show loaded data at once after loading is finished but after some time?
Could be the reason of it:
a) huge amount of data in infocube.
b) there are no deleting/creating indexes before/after loading, because it takes too much time
c) anothe reason?

Hi Tigr,
A and B both can be the reasons behind, but normally in case of B option the results on report output can be wrong like duplicates sort of showing you double figures.
C - it can be resource issue, so please look into all and double check with basis if thats the case.

EXCEL out put is not showing data

My report is working fine it is showing data in XML but it is not showing data in Excel output. Excel output is empty.
i have attached excel and xml files. please help me.

Using ua.bat we upgraded 10g to 11g., we got sucessfully message.
after upgrade if i try to open excel it is not showing opening and showing action instead of excel name . I though excel out put has corrupted. i downloaded excel layout from 10g and uploaded in 11g report using upload layout.
we did not make any changes in database.
below one is not related to this one but .. after upgraded reports multi parametrs did not work if i select more than one column ( i opened as different topic) then i have removed
( (coalesce(null, :P_PPD_REGION) is null) and kept(region.X_REGION in (:P_PPD_REGION) from following statement then i did report is working with multi parameters.
my doubt is is it correct thing i did ? if not how can my multi parameter will work . we are using oracle as database.

WT reporter does not show split for tax authorities!

I need to report for all employees some WTs of taxes, but wt reporter does not show the splits for them (to distinguish federal from statal authorities payments), it is like summarises all the same WTs... I tried payroll recon. report but this one does not output the data in ALV format (im in 4.6 version) so it is not useful to run in bulk
Do you have any work around for this?

1. Allocated costs are always treated as Fixed costs, unless you have booked the expenses in FI using Activity Type as Aux Account assignment object
2. Check whether these costs are included in Inventory valuation in your Cost Comp Str in OKTZ... If not relevant for inv valuation, these costs wont show up for Variance calculations

When I used the views on discoverer plus for construct the report, when execute the query not show data.
Appreciate it if you could help or tell me I'm doing wrong or does not support Discoverer Plus package execution.

This appears to be a grant issue. Apparently, you have granted execute with respect to this package to the EUL owner or the view would not have compiled. If you have not given EUL owner the grant option, I would recommend doing this as well.
This appears to be an Oracle APPS EUL (tell me if I am wrong). If this is the case, it goes without saying that APPS will need to be granted the execute privilege.
Also, by default, a stored package executes with the privileges of its owner. If your custom package was designed this way, are the objects which it references received the appropriate grant? I assume you tested this, but I am concerned that the line, a.prod = k_xps_tools.f_obt_prod, in the where clause could be resulting in the Null set being returned.
