hi all,
I have a prblem ,some one modified the object of test instance in our company now object became invalid .
how to trace the ip adress ,operating system username, service ipadress of which user modified the object . please help me on this isuue.

First of all: using all capitals anywhere is considered shouting and you should edit your subject line and stop that immediately.
Secondly: the nature of your question indicates you are not into reading documentation. As that is annoying, can you stop that too?
Your issue is a non-issue as Oracle will recompile the object as soon as it used again.
Also if you don't audit alter statements, the answer is you can not know this.

Is there any way to findout when(date / time) an object got invalid, as the LAST_DDL_TIME and TIMESTAMP columns of the DBA_OBJECTS do not change if the parent object gets affected and child become invalid right?

Enfact I want to know at what time an object became INVALID,
there are 2 n more DBA's applying the Script for the Database, One is working on an assignment to remove the unwanted Objected from DB and the other is working on normal development , now both executed their script which invalidated around 200 Objects, I want to know Invalid objects by each action (Cleanup or Development action) As I am aware of the time the statements were executed, one way to get the list, is to revert the changes and work pro-activly, but it would be very easy for me if I group the list of objects invalidated by the time.otherwise I would have to get the list of all objects before and after every action activity, which is frequent

Time when Oracle object become invalid

We can find if there are invalid objects in the database.
But is there a way to find when the object become invalid. I am interested in finding the time when object become invalid.
Let me know if Oracle can tell this information.

Some Objects owned by SYS became invalid due wrong deletion from OBJ$ table

Hi,
While cleaning up streams from source database,we have found some rules and stream queue name was still present, so we tried to delete those records from obj$ table, but by mistake we have deleted all records from obj$ table related to streams.Actually we executed the following sql statement:
DELETE FROM OBJ$ WHERE NAME LIKE '%STREAM%';COMMIT;
For this fault some problem arrise.After this we have found lots of SYS owner objects (VIEW,PACKAGE,TYPE) are become invalid.This situation happened in a remote database.For this remote database there is missing a TYPE "AQ$_JMS_STREAM_MESSAGE".
We have created a dummy database in local and executed the same delete statement, and after this We have executed (after shutdown immediate & startup migrate)catpatch.sql & (after shutdown immediate & startup) utlrp.sql but still there are some objects exists invalid.
e.g. one object is "_DBA_APPLY_ERROR" which is invalid.While I have tried to open the table "APPLY$_ERROR" for this view it showing an error message "ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kkdlusr1], [30813], [], [], [], [], [], []"
We are using ORACLE 9.2.0.5 and Windows XP for our work.
Now please tell me what is it`s remedy.

I had exec utlirp.sql..
Well you were asked to run utlrp.sql. I can't speak about the time that it will take to get complete. For the invalid objects, there are two ways to make them valid,one run utlrp.sql and see how many become valid and the other ( painful one) is to manually look for the errors in their compilation and sort it out.

i am trying to load the data from excel sheet using For each loop container in ssis 2005.
But it gave me the below error:
Error: Opening a rowset for "Sheet1$" failed. Check that the object exists in the database.
[DTS.Pipeline] Error: "component "failed validation and returned validation status "VS_ISBROKEN".
Error: There were errors during task validation.
Could you please let me know the solution

That message usually means validation has failed;
Have any of the underlying tables changed? Data types, lengths, maybe even column ordering, etc...?

Right-click on the Data Flow Task and select Properties. Then set DelayValidation =TRUE.

When I check in R3AM1 status is Red.

Please try to re-generate the adapter object (ZDNL_CUST_CND) services using trx.
SMOGGEN
. After this, try re-running the load.
I assume that your CRM inbound mapping module are correctly coded. If the problem persists, try de-registering the R3AD_CONDITIONS inbound queue using trx.
SMQR
and then debugging the inbound queue from the same trx. after re-starting the load.

How to make the fields of BPM object not saved in database.

Is it possible to declare some attributes of BPM object not saved in database.
For example: Order has attribute orderId and date, user (other attributes)... we only want OBPM save orderId. We want the other attributes could be saved and retrieved by external DAO classes.
We still want to use the OOTB presentation from BPM object (not the customer jsp).

If this is the case, create a BPM Object with just two attributes. One would store your orderId as a primitive data type. The other attribute would be a BPM Object that would store all the other data you are going to retrieve from the external database.
At the beginning of the screenflow, read the database using the orderId attribute and populate the other attribute (the BPM Object). At the end of the screenflow just before it flows to the end activity, you could set the second attribute (again, the BPM Object attribute) to null. This would keep the BPM object with the two attributes from storing anything but the orderId in the Engine's database table for the work item instance.

I have an array where I save the contents of a textFrame, where "object" is the textFrame.
textContent = object.contents;
Then I have a for loop to loop through all items. With
if(i > 0)
object.parentStory.characters.item(i-1).fontStyle.toString().toLowerCase();
object.parentStory.characters.item(i).fontStyle.toString().toLowerCase();
if(i < textContent.length-1)
object.parentStory.characters.item(i+1).fontStyle.toString().toLowerCase();
I am getting the previous, current and next styles. It's for xml purposes and with this I can add a "<b>" , "<i>", etc. tag for my objects. The problem occuring now is that on some point, object.parentStory.characters.item(i+1).fontStyle; returns "object is invalid".
That being said, item(i+1) is valid. If I alert this, it says "object [character]". I tried to use if(object.parentStory.characters.item(i+1).hasOwnProperty('fontStyle')), but it didn't work. I don't know why it throws this error and I couldn't find any solution to this problem on the web.
Has anybody experienced this? Here is the complete code(without italic and bold italic):

I need a javascript script that exports all the stories of a document to .icml files.
At the moment I've come to a function like this:

After December 2014 update, Compile Error - calling Excel Objects Sub "Object library invalid or contains references to object definitions that could not be found"

When try to call Sub in Excel Objects > SheetXX after the original xlsm is modified and saved by another user in diff machine, getting an error below and seems Excel cannot identify any subs exists in Sheet.
Compile error:

Note: it seems that this problem has been occurring After December 2014 update and still exists even after applying the fix:

Hi All,
I am getting this error "JBO-25005: Object name for type View Object is invalid" while executing my VO query in Controller code. Can any one please tell me the reason behind this error?
I am creating a VO dynamically and .xml file of a VO is placed in a proper directly. Please let me know some inputs to resolve this.

I found the below explanation for the error mentioned. Check if your package name, Object names confirm to the standard specified
JBO-25005: InvalidObjNameException
Cause: An attempt has been made to associate a business component name with an object for which it is not valid.
Action: The name should be a valid Java identifier with no spaces or punctuation. Names are of the format myProjectPackage.BusinessPackage.BusinessComponent

ReferenceError: Object is invalid

I recently installed CS5 and was disappointed to find that a long-standing bug in Bridge still exists. The problem occurs every time I open two windows in Bridge. At some point, during the process Bridge gets messed up and I get the error:
ReferenceError: Object is invalid
This time, before the error occurred I was trying to switch between the two instances of Bridge but was unable to get to one of the two. Both instances showed in previews in the taskbar but when I clicked on either one I always got switched to just one instance. I could not get to the other one. When I exited the instance I was able to access the error occurred. About five times.

I am running a low end ATI card (2400 with 128k memory) with 2 monitors. Have "use software rendering" checked in advanced preferences. Seems to work fine. I take it you click on File/New Window?
I have never used a crash log but understand it will keep the log for couple of days. There is lots of technical gibberish there, but look for something you might recognize. Go the the OS help file or do a web inquiry as it has everything.
It is probably not Bridge, but some hardware or software conflict.

Hi NSP,
Check if any personalization been done at responsibility level , that might be causing the issue .
Also check the AOL functions as well .

"Object is invalid" after three loops

This script is placing objects on pages (in reverse order, as it happens). It works correctly for three pages, then stops and gives me the following error:

I have no clue why, so any help would be very appreciated.

be carefull with var totalPages = parseInt(app.activeWindow.activePage.name);
the pagename can be (for ex.) "MXIV", if you use roman numbering.
use .documentOffset to be on the safe side.
