Object linkage breakage
Hello All
HR system integrated with SRM .
The users are looks fine with position , CP and BP but when we run HRLAXSYNC (BBP_BP_OM_INTEGRATE ) with attribute check and it results red error.
so we do request PFAL for theuser and isuse isresolved and later results are GREEN.
Why really object linkages arebroken between employee and BP.
Is it due to changes the user fromone department to another department i are in the HR system?
can you share your experiences on this?
Muthu
Hi..
You want to link the object (material) from DIR side at creation stage and then it should be displayed from the object side only when the DIR is approved. I believe this is your requirement.
Apart from C_DRAD_OBJ use C_DRAW_TCS Authroization Object and give Display option only to Approved Status. In this way, though the DIR is attached to the material in the create mode, it wont be visible to anyone unless the status is changed to approved.
Hope this helps.

Exchange Object Linkage - How does it work?
Hi,
I have a question regarding the following Standard Work Manager Delta Update behavior:
A Work Order in the Work Manager is updated, when the description of the Work Order has been changed in SAP.
However, a Work Order is not updated, when the description of the Functional Location of the Work Order has been changed in SAP.
I did some reading and I found something called "Exchange Object Linkage Settings" that sounds like it should be used for the use case above. The problem is, that it does not seem to work as I would expect.
Here is some description from the smp_agentry_sap_framework.pdf, page 78:
Exchange Object - Linkage Settings The Linkage Settings tab allows the exchange objects that are linked together to communicate with each other. The communication is one-directional, with the exchange object sending information to the object(s) listed in the Linked Exchange Objects List. When there is a value change to the exchange object, that value change information is passed on to the linked exchange objects. The linked exchange objects then go through additional processes related to the value change.
In the Config Panel, one can see that in the Standard Work Manager, there is a linkage between Functional Location and Workorder:
According to the above description, I would expect that, when changing the Functional Locations description, that information is passed to all Workorders with that Functional Location.
BUT HOW? It is not entirely clear to me how and what information is passed where. I would expect, that in the end, all related entries in the workorder exchange table will be updated with a new time stamp. (How else could the client get the information that the workorder is to be updated?)
This is not what I can see! When changing the Functional Locations description in SAP, I see that the Functional Locations exchange table entry is updated, but the corresponding Work Orders exchange table entry is not changed.
Does anybody have an idea how this feature is supposed to work? Maybe, there are some configuration steps necessary? Any input on the would be highly appreciated.
Regards, Daniel
This question came up in another discussion, I hope it will get a better visibility and hopefully some helpful answers in this seperate discussion.Hi Daniel,
The high level process steps are as follows :
Process main exchange object, in this case Functional Location, update exchange table with time-stamp.
Check for linked Exchange Objects, in this case there is one object "SWM60_WORK_ORDER"
Process linked exchange object 'SWM60_WORK_ORDER' using Synchronous Linkage process
Identify all the Work Orders which is associated with above Functional Location
Process each Work order by satisfying all filters from the Work Order Exchange Object
Update Work Order Exchange table with the proper time-stamp
Hope this will help.

Missing of Business partner and Individual objects linkage.
Hi ,
We are implementing CRM 7.0 service. We don't have equipments(cannot able to see it in IE03 and equipment number will be in EQUI,Since equipment view is not activated in serial number profile of material) and have serial numbers generated for the sales order line item.Hence we opted for download of serial number and serial number configuration(VC) after making all necessary config settings and Iam able to see it in webclient under INDIVIDUAL OBJECTS(NOT IBASE).Also able to search individual objects based on product ID(Material) or serial number or BP wise in webclient.
Now Iam facing the the following issue
Iam not able to search the individual objects based on BP for the old data(data created in ECC before we did related configurations in CRM).whereas Iam able to search the same old data based on product ID and Serial number, meaning BP linkage is missing for the old data.
Can anyone suggest what is missing.
Regards
Suresh.Ok thanks .. waited 4 years for the Partner and Competitor to be reportable .. so what's a few more years for being able to customize the 'ADD' screen !! :)
As far as the default values ..
I want to default the 'Relationship' field to 'Customer' and the 'Reverse Relationship' field to 'Vendor'. I tried adding as default value:
[<RelationshipRole>] = LookupValue("PARTY_REL_TYPE","Customer")
I'm probably doing something wrong in this expression, but can't seem to make it work !
Thanks. -
Shared objects linkage to binaries
Hi -
I included -lsunmath -lfsu -lompstubs as part of compile flags for the creation of a few fortran binaries. Now these library shared objects are part of /opt/SUNWspro/lib directory which is available on a development node. During compile and link it is ok as these shared objects are available locally on the compile node. However, when I move the binaries, thus created, to a runtime node and try to execute them they give a load error. The error is ld.so.1 ..libsunmath.so.1 not found. This, ofcourse, causes the binary to exit abnormally. How do I get around this problem. I cannot load these libraries on runtime environments. Is there any other way to compile and link with these shared objects with running into the above scenario? Your help will be appreciated very much.
RegardsYou have some choices here:
1. When you move the binaries, you can also make a copy
of the libraries that it needs, and put them into an "install
directory" with your binary. You can specify the directory
where to find these libraries by using a link-time option
when you create your binary.
2. You can also try statically linking your program using
linker options when you create your binary. This will embed
the necessary code into your executable.
Try a google search for "sun studio f90 static linking" or
something like that, if you want take this path. -
Adding Technical objects linkage sales contract to equipement document
hi Gurus,
I am trying to add an equipment in a sales contract (Extras / Technical Objects) but the system gives the message V1 192 (Serial number profile is missing for material 212 in plant 0001), the material is a maintenance service, and the equipment has a serial number, Why a the system checks the serial profile of material master data?
KrishnaDear Prase,
As you have explained, that´s the case you sale material as equipment, but in our case we sale a service maintenance over a client equipment. Does not logical create a serial number related to service material.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Agentry Delta Mechanism - Detecting changes in nested objects?
Hi all,
I have some experience with the Agentry Delta mechanism directly on a SQL backend (Update / Exchange Tables, Triggers, etc.). Now I am trying to find the right documentation, examples and stuff for that mechanism in the "Work Manager for SAP 6.0".
Maybe, someone could outline a solution to the following "gap" in the Standard Work Managers exchange mechanism?
A notifications in the "Work Manager" is updated, when the description of the notification has been changed in SAP.
However, a notification is not updated, when the description of the functional locations of the notification has been changed in SAP. Now, the question is, how to extend the exchange mechanism to listen to the functional locations description?
Thanks in advance for any hints you might have.
Regards, DanielNote: I reposted this question in its own discussion. Please do reply there if you can contribute to this topic. Thank you!

Service Provider - Stack of instance - SCASE
I need to Switch to display mode when a Business Object is opened using the access sequence which is described below, cause standard behavior opens the case in modification mode. (Trx. SCASE)
For achieving the problem, i was given the following solution,
but still need more detail information, about the solution given.
To change the record or case from change to display when calling a business object you have to examine the service provider for business objects. You will find him in the registry of the service provider framework. Within the Classes which are defined there you have to look for the method which executes a function on the business object. Within this function you have to do three things: a) execute the where used list for the specific business object linkage and find records or cases b) look for the record or case instance in the stack of instance of the just running service provider framework c) Execute the method toggle display for the instance of the case you found. This is a little tricky and should be an exercise for an advanced ABAP OO programmer. Before you go into the java side of the equation, you should define the WSDL and the schema, that describes the payload you have, unless you have some freedoom on the exact shape you can expect your final message will have.
At fist glance, this message look like a 'bare' style, which will not give you the best interop results.
If the content of 'somethingElse' is not define, you can use xsd:anyType. If you want it to be extensible, the way to do this with XML schema is to end the sequence with a wildcard (xsd:any).
Once you have the WSDL, you can use the top-down design pattern to develop the implementation in Java.
Hope this helps,

PO won't update contract value

BLAREL IDOC is failing to post in SRM
Folks,
We are trying to update the Release Orders from backend PO into the SRM GOA.
From the sourcing in SRM we create a GOA and distribute the GOA to backend system.
After distribution a contract is created in the backend system. In the backend from contract we create a purchase order. When this happens the IDOC BLAREL is triggered from R/3 to SRM . From the R/3 end there is no error, however in the SRM end the IDOC goes into error with the message "Object Linkage for Global Outline Agreement does not exist".
After some analysis we found that
1.The table SRRELROLES does not contain an entry with the correct OBJTYPE. Its checking for object type BUS2014 but in the table there is an entry for BUS2000113.
2.The status of the contract is u201CIn Distributionu201D, even after Backend contract is created successfully in the R/3 system
3.We have manually executed the BBP_GET_STATUS_2 and CLEAN_REQREQ_UP but they were of no help either.
4.IDOC configurations seem to be correct because not all the BLAREL Idocs are failing.
5.We have also found that in few Idocs Plant in the contract is different from the plant in the PO created in R/3
Now we are not sure whether the problem is because of point 2 or point 5.
Please let me know if anyone has experienced similar problems and resolved them.
Thanks, AmithHi Amit your analysis pefectly correct.
Your first point is very valid point.
in the goa , you might have deleted any one of the item
so you have two entries in bbp_pd one is new another one is deleted.
and when PO created and release orders trying to update wrong.
sap has to offer a notes.

Distribution of GOA into the Backend systems
Hi All,
I am having aproblem on the above.
I created a GOA and tried to distribute to the Back end as Contract & Sch Agreement for two items.
While the Contract is getting distributed to the BE systems properly, the SC.Ag would either get distributed as a Contract or not at all.
Distibution Model is OK & in Idoc Monitor (WE02) the status for 53 type is showing error saying "the Object linkag to the GOA does not exist"
Can any body pl suggest step by step process to check & fix the same?
