Object load path

Hello
For internal testing I need to get the path of the loaded object. I will not do it in production. Is it possible? I believe I remember something about being able to do it with the classloader. Also if the method on the proper object gives me back a string will it escape the "\" or can I get it in a platform independent format? tia.

What exactly are you after?
(a) The fully qualified name of the class of an arbitrary object:
String object.getClass().getName();
or (b) (much much more difficult) The name of the jar/class file which contains the definition of that class?

We are facing an issue in XSLT mapping for one of the inbound scenario.
While executing the source message at mapping level, it is failing with the error text - "javax.xml.transform.TransformerException: com.sap.engine.lib.xsl.xpath.XPathException: Error parsing query -> java.lang.NullPointerException: while trying to invoke the method java.lang.Object.toString() of a null object loaded from local variable 'o'
Kindly help us on this issue!
FYI - We are facing this issue in PO 7.4 version.

We are migrating the interface from PI7.1 to PI 7.4 at this one we are getting the error as mentioned the earlier. we are uanle to run it in the mapping level as well.
Why are we getting the error?As this is working in PI7.1 version

Our PI is getting data from WebSphere MQ and pushing to SAP. So our sender CC is JMS and receiver is Proxy. Our PI version is 7.31.
Our connectivity between the MQ is success but getting the following error while trying to read the payload.

Where exactly you are getting this error?
If you are getting at JMS Sender communication channel, try to stop and start the JMS communication channel and see the status, also use XPI Inspector to get the exact error log.

Approval task SP09: Evaluation of approvalid failed with Exception: while trying to invoke the method java.lang.String.length() of an object loaded from local variable 'aValue'

Hi everyone,
I just installed SP09 and i was testing the solution. And I found a problem with the approvals tasks.
I configured a simple ROLE approval task for validate add event. And when the runtime executes the task, the dispatcher log shows a error:
ERROR: Evaluation of approvalid failed with Exception: while trying to invoke the method java.lang.String.length() of an object loaded from local variable 'aValue'
And the notifications configured on approval task does not start either.
The approval goes to the ToDO tab of the approver, but when approved, also the ROLE stays in "Pending" State.
I downgraded the Runtime components to SP08 to test, and the approvals tasks works correctly.
Has anyone passed trough this situation in SP09?
I think there is an issue with the runtime components delivered with this initial package of SP09.
Suggestions?

The issue is caused by a program error in the Dispatcher component. A fix will be provided in Identity Management SP9 Patch 2 for the Runtime component. I expect the patch will be delivered within a week or two.

We are urgrading our SAP MII ( purely Java ) systems from 7.31 Sp5 to 7.40 and we got stuck at Configuration phase. We are getting the following error during Queue validation.
Checking of deployment queue completed with error. java.lang.NullPointerException: while trying to invoke the method com.sap.sdt.j2ee.tools.deploymentmgr.DeploymentManagerItemResultIF.getDescriptions() of an object loaded from local
variable 'itemDeploymentResult'.
I looked in the trace files under SUM/sdt/trc directory and found the following information.

Hi All,I am working on one project - Crystal report to SQL Report conversion and I am using CRAXDRT.DLL to open and read crystal report.I have done conversation of all controls but I am not able to get PICTURE object from Crystal report and also PICTURE object source path.I am using CRAXDRT.OLEOBJECT to get the path of the picture object.if someone have knowledge of CRAXDRT please help me.Regards,Harry

You can get at specific objects using events, but not a whole record.
Can't think of any way of doign this at all...

Load Path as Selection

I completed my path and clicked Load Path as a Selection. I have 2 cut out areas (holes) in the path, and the selection process did not include the holes, even though the path shows them. I had the button pressed "exclude overlapping path areas" when I made the path.
How do I get the path to select the outline, minus the "holes"? Kind of like a coffee cup profile with the hole in the handle excluded to show just the outline of the cup.

Here's the problem with working with paths in Photoshop: the stacking of the shapes inside the path is very important but you can't easily change that.
The uppermost shape interacts with all the shapes beneath it acording to the settings in the Options bar, if you want to rearange them you will have to select the path you want to bring to the front, Cut it and then Paste it back in place. You won't notice any difference on screen but now the path you just pasted is at the top of the stack
So if you first make a large circle and then you make a small circle in the middle of it, to cut out the small circle from the large one you have to select the small circle and from the options bar select Subtract from Shape area because the small circle is at the top. But if you first make the small circle and then the large one and want to achieve the same result then you have to select the large circle and select Exclude from Shape area. Or of course cut/paste the small circle so that it's at the top of the stack and then with it selected chose Subtract from Shape area

Getting info on objects loaded via xml

Hello:
i am a beginner/intermediate as3 coder, and i am stuck on
something related to objects loaded via XML.
i am able to load JPEG images onto a simulated "shelf", but i
am trying to arrange them on the shelf (like a store shelf) so that
each new item is placed directly next to the previous item as they
load. i can get it to work on a very basic level by specifying the
spacing between items manually betwen the code, but to makre this
reuseable and efficient, the ideal is to have the "next" object
loaded be placed on the shelf based on the width of the previous
object. but when i try to access the width of the object that is
loaded via the imageLoader, i can;t find it. if i trace the image
loader wifth, it is 0; i have tried several ways to name the object
as it loads and then get/save its dimensions somehow, but i am not
having any luck. i use all the Lynda titles and i also use some of
the better books, but i just can;t seem to solve this.
any hellp would be appreciated.

When i use the contentLoaderInfo listener, you are right, i
can discern the width of the loader. but when i do this it only
works for the last item loaded. here is my problem -- i am trying
to load graphics dynamically, and have each graphic go to it's
proper "place" on a simulated shelf -- so the foirst object might
go to (0,0), then next object should go directly to the right of
the first object, etc, etc. and i am loading all this dynamically
from an xml file. if i just specify a distance, then i can get
everything to load at uniform distances from each other. problem is
each of the graphics has a unique width, height, etc, so i need to
be able to "catch and capture" this info as each one is loaded.
when i wait until the entire loader has loaded, the only
peopoerties left for me to capture and use are the propoerties of
the last itm loaded.
any ideas on how to do this -- anyone?

When I "load path as a selection" the path layer deselects and I have to reselect the path layer to add, subtract or intersect. What am I missing?

Paths are not Layers.
Why Selections anyway, why not change the subPathItems’ individual settings?

Version 2.1.0.63 - Load List of Database Objects Loads Incredibly Slow

I am using version 2.1.0.63, and when I am browsing the database objects in the connection, they load EXTREMELY slow. With the same database, using other tools, such as PLEdit, the list of objects loads in a small fraction of the time that it takes SQL Developer to load them. Why is it so much slower? Are there options that will make SQL Developer load less details about the objects or something along that line?

I am migrating a Microsoft SQL Server 2005 database to oracle 10g. I encounter this problem when I run "Load Database Capture Script Output", It is extremely slow at this step, especially on loading constraints.I am using SQL Developer 2.1.0.63. The size of Microsfot SQL Server db is 6G.

This sound like a firewall issue. I would start by disabling the firewall and seeing if you can connect. If this works then you know where the problem is,

This is a normal warning message displayed for release 10.2.0.1.0, this is just a bug that by default has declared the kgllarge_heap_warning_threshold instance parameter to 8388608 . The bug is harmless, but the problem is that you will see a lot of messages displayed on the alert.log file, which renders this file difficult to read and it is uncomfortable to spot the real errors.
Just declare a higher value for the kgllarge_heap_warning_threshold undocumented instance parameter. This is meant to be corrected at 10.2.0.2.0, but you can manually have this parameter increased to a value higher than the highest value reported.

Auto run vi after loading path file

I was wondering if there is a way to automatically run a VI after you click on "OK" to load a file from the file path control as opposed to selecting file and then manually clicking run each time on the front panel toolbar. I attached the simplified VI and txt file to be plotted for clarity.

So I tried what you suggested and I believe it's working like you said it would. For situations where you would select multiple files, I put the event structure inside the while loop. One thing I noticed is if you select a file and the VI runs and then select the same file again...a error pops up in the "Read from Measurement File" object. Is there a way to ignore this error? It works fine if you select a different file otherwise.
