OBPM 11.1.1.4 - Task details not shown in Process Workspace

Hi All
On my laptop, OBPM 11.1.1.4 is running (XE+11.1.1.4 with AdminServer at 7001,7002 and soa_server1 at 9001,9002).
I am trying sales demo. In the process workspace, I can click on applicaiton name which opens a new window and let me enter details and submit. However, after that when I click the task in the workspace window, it does not show in the lower pane (double clicking also does not work).
It is trying to access the below url for the task details-
res://ieframe.dll/dnserror.htm#http://localhost:9001/bpm/workspace/faces/adf.task-flow?adf.tfId=taskDetail-task-flow-definition&adf.tfDoc=/WEB-INF/taskDetail-task-flow-definition.xml&taskId=a656555d-e88b-46b0-99f6-74b358349174&refreshURL=http%3A//localhost%3A9001/bpm/workspace/faces/jsf/worklist/worklist.jspx&refreshTaskListButtonId=wlctdc%3Aj_id_id14%3Ar1%3A0%3Atldc%3ArefreshTaskList&_afrLoop=36204498288123&_afrWindowMode=0&_afrWindowId=null
Any idea?

sibendu

Yes the EAS schema was upgraded by the configurator.
I ran upgrade_ps2.sh (unix) without changing any configuration just to see what it does and (after I had to manually create the directory structure for the log file) it created an HBRrules.xml file successfully fo the first time under EPMData/planning (The missing log file directory structure may have been why the configurator didn't create the HBrrules.xml file at the first attempt during the Planning upgrade)
Anyway not entirely sure where upgrade_ps2.sh got its rules information but the file it created was very similar to the HBR file exported from EAS prior to starting the upgrade.
I attempted a 'migrate' again with Calculation Manager but still get the "No objects were found in the document for importing", i.e. kind of back to square one.
I really need to understand what is Calc Managers problem?
Q .What server should the upgrade_ps2.sh be run on? Planning or Shared Services? (I did it in on both)
Q. How can I get Calc Manager to tell me more with logging or tracing somehow?
Any other suggestions gratefully received
Many Thanks

  • JDeveloper 11.1.1.5.0 ADF Library task-flow not shown

    fyi
    Please consider the example application created using JDeveloper 11.1.1.5.0
    at http://www.consideringred.com/files/oracle/2011/TestsInADFLibraryApp-v0.01.zip
    (in the context of forum thread "JUnit test classes in ADF Library")
    At some point, working with that application in JDeveloper 11.1.1.5.0, I used the deployment profile "adflibTestsInADFLibraryApp-ViewController-dp" to create the ADF Library "adflibTestsInADFLibraryApp-ViewController.jar" wich seemed to have an issue.
    When in a File System Connection on the Resource Palette, that ADF Library did not show the task-flow(s) it contained.
    But, I can no longer reproduce this. If I now try to do the same, the ADF Library seems to be OK. The only thing I can think of that changed, is that JDeveloper has been restarted (a day later).
    Showing both ADF Libraries in File System Connections on the Resource Palette illustrates this
    at http://www.consideringred.com/files/oracle/img/2011/task-flow-not-shown-jdev111150.png
    When I looked inside the ADF Libraries, the respective "task-flow-registry.xml" files were somewhat different:
    - in the "broken" ADF Library there were lots of XML namespace declarations
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no"?>
    <task-flow-registry xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/controller/rc">
    <task-flow-descriptor xmlns:ns0="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/controller/rc" ns0:path="WEB-INF/btf/browse-employees-btf.xml" xmlns:ns1="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/controller/rc" ns1:id="browse-employees-btf" xmlns:ns2="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/controller/rc" ns2:type="task-flow-definition" xmlns:ns3="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/controller/rc" ns3:uses-page-fragments="true" xmlns:ns4="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/controller/rc" ns4:library-internal="false" xmlns:ns5="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/controller/rc" ns5:train="false"/>
    <task-flow-descriptor xmlns:ns0="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/controller/rc" ns0:path="META-INF/adfc-config.xml" xmlns:ns1="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/controller/rc" ns1:id="" xmlns:ns2="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/controller/rc" ns2:type="" xmlns:ns3="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/controller/rc" ns3:uses-page-fragments="false" xmlns:ns4="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/controller/rc" ns4:library-internal="false" xmlns:ns5="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/controller/rc" ns5:train="false"/>
    </task-flow-registry>- in the "ok" ADF Library there was only one XML namespace declaration
    <?xml version = '1.0' encoding = 'UTF-8'?>
    <task-flow-registry xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/controller/rc">
       <task-flow-descriptor path="WEB-INF/btf/browse-employees-btf.xml" id="browse-employees-btf" type="task-flow-definition" uses-page-fragments="true" library-internal="false" train="false"/>
       <task-flow-descriptor path="META-INF/adfc-config.xml" id="" type="" uses-page-fragments="false" library-internal="false" train="false"/>
    </task-flow-registry>- (q1) How can these not shown task-flows (or its different task-flow-registry.xml file) be explained?
    many thanks

    The above issue is seen when we don't have proper FP patchset. after applying a patchset all issues sloved

  • Why is the FROM field in Task Details not always populated on in-flight BPs

    On a BP, the Task Details section contains a "From:" and a "To:" field.
    1. If I am the assignee, the From and To fields are populated.
    2. If I am NOT the assignee, the From field is empty, but the To field is populated. The behavior is the same whether the assignee accepted the task or not.
    This becomes inconvenient, for example, on a coordination step with multiple inflows and outflows. If the From field were always populated, I could readily get a sense of the context of the current step without fishing through the timestamps of the Process Details, particularly if this step is revisited multiple times.
    Granted, it's minor, but our users have noticed. Is there any reason for this?

    Thank you for your reply.  I changed the error handling as you suggested on the 2nd lookup to redirect to unmatched rows.  Now I get all greet.  I don't have the conditional split as in your diagram.  But also, nothing appears to have
    happened in the DB.  Aren't the rows in my text file supposed to be added to the FactCurrencyRate table?
    How do I get a conditional split?
    Rich P
    OK, sorry I forgot to reply you back.
    Conditional Split was just dummy task. Ignore it.
    Manipulate the data in such way that you get matching records.
    Inside Source, for first 2 rows I put the dates which are available in DimDate.

  • ESignature details not shown.

    Hi All,
    Using Jdev11.1.1.6(webcenter and UCM PS5).
    Use Case: Admin User will check in agreement(document to UCM) and Client User will accept that agreement. To accept the agreement, user needs to click on accept button which will create ESignature watermark in all the pages of the document.
    Issue: On page1, we have Doc viewer taskflow to show the document and a button to accept.
    On click of accept button it will navigate to page2 which has doc viewer task flow to show the document along with ESignature details.
    But ESignature details are not shown on page2, when we open in seperate browser(either in Firefox or others) ESignature details will be shown.
    Even we have tried refreshing the page using F5 as well.
    Can you please suggest me a solution.
    Thanks,
    Raj Gopal K

    Hi,
    this question should go to the UCM forum or WebCenter. I don't see a generic ADF problem statement

    ALTER SESSION SET statistics_level = ALL ;
    ALTER SESSION SET timed_statistics = TRUE ;

  • E71 mobile search: to-do note details not shown

    Hi,
    I use the outlook to-do section extensively. Outlook and my E71 device are synced using Mail for Exchange. I have over 100 to-do items, therefore a fast search of them would be highly appreciated. However,
    I have noted the following very irritating feature:
    1. I add a to-do item (task) using the default calendar application. Lets give it the name "Test"
    2. The to-do item is complemented with details (in the "(enter details)" section, of the New to-do screen). Let's add "test text".
    3. To-do item is saved
    4. Back to main screen
    5. Using the search, I write "test"
    6. To-do item "test" is found. However, opening it does only show name, due date, importance, public status BUT not the details (which is many times the content!).
    7. Going back to the calendar, and opening the same items from there, shows all the above, but also the details.
    What am I doing wrong?
    Is there any other way to achieve a to-do item search, which would give me the whole item?
    Thanks.

    That's an interesting find.
    I can confirm that on the N96 at least, if a contact has multiple numbers that match the search pattern, only the first one will be listed in the search results.

  • CUP Risk Analysis results are not shown, continues processing request

    We have several users that complain the risk analysis in CUP never finishes. Requests do not contain risks or huge amount of risks which could explain a long runtime.
    With one user we checked, the user is never getting the risk analysis result on his screen. Sitting together with the user shows that the progress bar at bottom of IE is completing analysis, however the screen is not updated to show the risk analysis result and continues to show the processing circle.
    On other pc's CUP risk analysis result is shown as expected, so it must be some issue in local PC Internet Explorer settings.
    Environment used is Windows XP with IE 8. GRC version is 5.3.
    Have any of you experienced the same? And is there a solution available that will resolve this issue, by e.g. correcting settings in IE 8?

    Hello!
    If you want to successfully use GRC 5.3 with IE8, you have two options:
    1) Change a parameter in the server
    2) use the compatibility mode.
    3) Update NW
    refer to [Note 1347768 - Web Dynpro and Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 8.0|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1347768]
    I dismiss option 2, because it requires to change in every end user computer, so I've been working with option 1 without problems. Bear in mind that NW 7.01 is supported:  [Note 1433940 - Access Control compatibility on Netweaver Java server 7.01|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1433940]
    Cheers!

  • Issue with 'Show approval controls in task details only' in Human Task

    Hi,
    In human task, for the approval controls / outcomes to be displayed only in the task details (Not in the task summary, actions menu), the below option was selected and it was working perfectly in SOA BPM worklist application (11.1.1.5.0). But when we migrate to 11.1.1.6.0, this was not working...
    Option to be selected: .task > Assignment > Configure Assignment > Assignment > Show approval control controls in task details only.
    We are anyhow planning to test in 11.1.1.7.0 also, but do anyone knows why its not working in 11.1.1.6.0?

    I'm facing the same issue in 11g PS5. Any update on this?

    Hi Experts,
    I have activated the processing log for service request in CRM, but I am only able to see the changes done to status,notes,attachments. As the field level changes are not shown in processing log in web ui, but the same is visible in the GUI in change log. Is there any specific setting which I need to do capture the field level changes? Please let me know on the same

  • Task details in BPM worklist on SOA 11g could not retrieved.Experts plz adv

    Hi,
    This is regarding issues when I click on the Task details on the BPM worklist 11G. I am invoking a BPEL process using custom JSP and from the custom JSP form values are
    sent to BPEL and from BPEL i am invoking the Human workflow.
    Tech used: BPEL 11.1.1.2, RCU 11.1.1.2.1, WLS 10.3.2 and DB 10.2.0.4
    I am using one jsp named "myFlow.jsp" to call the BPEL process and i can able to get the Task in worklist but i click on "Task details" , i am getting "404 error".
    Note: There was no errors when i tried with ADF autogenerated form. I can able to approve, reassign and do all operations.
    I got one soultion for that, i mean i have to create another custom jsp(taskDetails.jsp) to fetch the values based on the Task Id and finally i have to give that URI in EM to fetch the details.Today i created that also but i dont know how to give the URI IN EM for the task details jsp. I am refering soa developes guide also to get the API's.
    My Ref: http://sqltech.cl/doc/oas11gR1/integration.1111/e10224/bp_worklistcust.htm
    http://docs.tpu.ru/docs/oracle/en/owl/E14571_01/integration.1111/e10224/bp_designtf.htm
    1. myFlow.jsp used - To initiate the BPEL to create a Task in worklist.(By mistake i gave this URI in EM and i am getting the same request page in the task details). Now i created another jsp which queries the task details based on the Task ID. i dont know how to give the URI in EM for this Jsp.
    2.taskDetails.jsp - Used to retrive the task details based on thr Task id.
    Both Jsp's are displayed below. Please advise how to fetch the task details.
    worklist API provided by oracle is used to fetch only the metadata on the Task details but i have to get all the form values also in the task details that has been submitted
    by my Jsp(myFlow.jsp)
    Both are shown below,

  • Task details in Worklist did not work

    I have created a simple BPEL process which use human task flow for approval purposes. The input for the process is initiated from a DBAdapter(poll). For any changes or new row in the database, it will create a new instance.The problem is the task details for the worklist did not show the data retrieve from the DBAdapter. It only shows the table header. There are no error during the deployment and that made me wonder on how to display the details.Any help would highly be appreciated.

    the way to display the details is by creating a a new xml schema. Then assign the values from the DBAdapter to the new schema.By doing this, my task details actually displaying the details that I required

  • Task details are not refreshed on task selection in BPM

    Hi All,
    I have a Notification project which is generated for the human task. In the BPM, when I try to select any of the tasks, it shows the task details of only one task. These are not being refreshed even after I choose some other task. The task details seem to be those of the first task. Can someone please suggest a solution? I am totally stuck here.
    Am I missing some setting here?
    Thanks,

    Hi Sam,
    I think you need to create an "Empty1.jspx" with the following code inside:
    <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?>
    <jsp:root xmlns:jsp="http://java.sun.com/JSP/Page" version="2.1"
    xmlns:f="http://java.sun.com/jsf/core"
    xmlns:h="http://java.sun.com/jsf/html"
    xmlns:af="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/faces/rich">
    <jsp:directive.page contentType="text/html;charset=UTF-8"/>
    <f:view>
    <af:document id="d1">
    <af:form id="f1"></af:form>
    </af:document>
    </f:view>
    </jsp:root>
    This should... for some reason.. auto close the taskflow
