Odd problems with vda -x option

I am using VDI 3.4.1, and have discovered that two simultaneous runs of vda with the '-x' option results in one of the runs ignoring that option. For example, try either of the following commands:
vda provider-show -x "provider" < /dev/null & vda provider-show -x "provider" < /dev/null &
vda pool-desktops -x "pool" < /dev/null & vda pool-desktops -x "pool" < /dev/null &
In both cases, the output from one of the vda runs will be as expected, but the other one will output as if '-x' had not been specified. This becomes a problem when running housekeeping script from cron. Has anyone else experienced this behaviour? Is there a fix?

I can see the screenshot at my end.
The skimmer is on a gap clip and as far as can be seen in the picture, there is no other content at this point.
If I understood correctly, you still hear audio at that position - is that it?
There are connected audio clips a bit before and a bit after that point.
I am guessing there may have been some corruption in that project.
Try selecting everything, creating a new empty project, and pasting into this new project. If everything works there, delete the old one.
Also, delete FCP X preferences. Start the application holding down command and option keys.
