ODI 10g Scheduler picking incorrect time - Issue

When am scheduling a ODI scenario at EST time using scheduler agent, it is executing at different time. For Ex.,  lets say i scheduled my job at 5 PM EST daily. I can see their time in SCHEDULING INFORMATION window as 9 PM EST daily (i.e Current EST + 4 Hrs).
Jobs are not getting triggered at 5 PM EST but it is executing at 9 PM EST. Whereas when i look into ODI OPERATOR, it is showing as 5 PM EST in execution log.
Am facing this issue once i installed ODI 10g from WINDOWS 2003 server to WINDOWS 2008 R2 Server. Is it a bug in the 10g product or some other JAVA/JRE/JDK related issues.
What might be the exact issue ? As It is really urgent problem, Can any one help me asap ?

The master repository contains connectivity to the work repository. If you just clone the master repository the work repository connectivity in it still point to the original work rep. So running upgrade on cloned copy of master would result in upgrade of original work rep instead of cloned work rep. I guess this is what happened in your case. So you should try to restore the work rep in the original schema.

  • Date Picker Incorrect time! URGENT HELP NEEDED

    Hello
    We have an application. In the application when you click a date picker the time is an hour forward. Where does the date picker get its time from?
    We have alot of date pickers and we are not wanting to set them by a query.
    The OS the machine application server is on is the correct time.
    Even if I create an item and select sysdate from dual the time is correct.
    Please help.

    From the SQL Reference manual:
    "The difference between this function and LOCALTIMESTAMP is that CURRENT_TIMESTAMP returns a TIMESTAMP WITH TIME ZONE value while LOCALTIMESTAMP returns a TIMESTAMP value."
    In your query, you're chopping off the timezone of CURRENT_TIMESTAMP (as it's of data type TIMESTAMP WITH TIME ZONE).
    Perform these two queries in SQL Commands:
    select current_timstamp from dual;
    select localtimestamp from dual;I'll bet you a million dollars that the query against LOCALTIMESTAMP is off by one hour from what you expect.

  • CRM 5.0 ATP check to ECC not including pick / pack time in ECC 6.0

    Been searching SDN & OSS, our ATP check in 5.0 is reading the proper inventory in ECC but when no inventory is available the date being returned is the total replenishment leadtime in the ECC material master. (good)
    When the order is entered in ECC if no stock exist, the total replenishment leadtime become the material availability date in the ECC schedule line, we have 2 days pick / pack time in the shipping point so the confirmed date is 2 factory days after the material availibility date.
    Therefore in CRM the ATP date in CRM looks to be 2 days earlier than desired or what ECC provides.  I also set up the vendor partner in CRM but that did not help.
    Anyone have experience with this one?
    One similiar topic, if total replenshiment leadtime is 3 days and saturday & sunday are not workdays.  a CRM order placed on saturday gives wednesday (monday, tuesday, wednesday) as the date.    ECC gives thursday (tuesday, wednesday, thursday)

    I had 2 issues
    - I didn't have the X set in SMOFPARSFA so i was doing availibility information which doesn't include scheduling (pick pack)
    - other issue was timezones which required note 1423767

  • Logviewer 1.14 showing incorrect times, and other issues.

    Couple of issues with running LogViewer, wondering if anyone can help.
    First, and seems to be the most frustrating, is that the LogViewer screen is showing incorrect times for the events. I am in Mountain Time zone in the US, which is GMT-7. When looking at the log from a web browser, my router is displaying the correct time. The text file that LogViewer saves on the local computer shows the same correct time. The LogViewer screen, however, shows a time 7 hours into the future. IE, if I type out the log from a DOS window, the last event will say something like "Mar 28 1:15:05 2008", but that same event number will be listed on the logviewer screen as "Mar 28 8:15:05" Any ideas on what may be wrong and how to correct it?
    Second, all events seem to be grouped exactly 3 minutes apart. I realize this is probably an effect of the router sending the information every three minutes. Anyone know of a way of changing that period?
    Hm, just noticed a third, but very minor issue. The text file written has the wrong day of week on it. It's listing Mar 28 2008 as a Wednesday...
    Thanks in advance for any advice.
    OK, the tech info. I am running LogViewer 1.14 on a Windows XP machine, contacting an WRT55AG with firmware 1.20. The connection is through a Cat 5 cable, not through the wireless.

  • ODI 10g - session keep a table locked

    Hi,
    We have a random issue, with ODI session that keep a lock on a table, even replication is finished and session becomes inactive
    It generated dead locks as a trigger has to update the target table.
    what happened :
    - user application create rows (13)
    - ODI scenario replicate the rows (contract table)
    - 2nd scenario based on same source with another sunscriber run a stored procedure to create records in another table (around 30, positions table)
    this 2nd locked the target table, and when the run of the procedure finished, and commited, the lock was not released
    - ODI replicate another table (price) 30mn later, a trigger on target update position table with new values
    ---> trigger failed with deadlock (ora 60)
    ---> ODI failed as the trigger raised back the error
    this issue happened after 10 hours of same activity without issue, chained lot of time, but suddenly the lock become persistent (more than 4 hours)
    what can I do?
    use ODI 10g 10.1.3.5.0 - RDBMS 10.2.0.4

    Hi !
    For small tables wich are mostly accessed with full table scan you can use
    ALTER TABLE <table_name> STORAGE (BUFFER_POOL KEEP);KEEP pool should be properly sized , setting will cause once the table is read oracle will avoid flushing it out from pool.

  • ODI - Package - Scheduling to run 9 A.M

    Hi,
    My ODI repoitory is installed in Linux, I was going through the below tutorial http://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/tutorials/obe/fmw/odi/10g/10135/creating_scheduling_scenario/creating_scheduling_scenario.htm,
    it says to stop the oracle services, but I do not have that in teh services. How to proceed.
    Thanks for your time and help.

    You don't have services in Linux I think so you probably don't have to achieve this step.
    The scheduling for ODI11g is easier to implement : http://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/tutorials/obe/fmw/odi/odi_11g/Creat_Schedul_Scen/Creating_Scheduling_Scenario.htm

  • WRT54GX2 does not pick up time from the network...

    I have a WRT54GX2 running firmware 1.01.14 and it does not pick up time from the network. I have PacBell (now AT&T) as an ISP and a DSL link. My old Netgear router picks up the time immediately. I am trying to figure out if I have a defective unit or if this is a firmware bug. Without the time, I can not use any of the scheduling functions, nor measure uptime.
    Does anyone have this router with the time working? I have set the appropriate time zone.
    Thanks,
    Martin

    Thanks for you ideas.
    The backup file appears to be binary. However in searching through it I did see 3 time related text strings, namely: clock.stdtime.gov.tw, time-b.nist.gov and time.nist.gov. I can successfully ping clock.stdtime.gov.tw and time.nist.gov. This reinforces my belief that my ISP (AT&T nee PacBell) is not blocking access.
    however ntp works on TCP port 123. ping works on udp 7 afaik. if your old netgear works i guess this is a router problem.
    have you reset the router yet? afaik press reset button for 10 seconds.
    you will however loose all settings and need to enter them again. it may however fix the issue.Message Edited by linksysinfo on 07-09-2006 03:09 AM

  • Urgent - Looping/Iterating in ODI 10g

    Hi Experts..
    I am trying to carry out a simple loop in ODI 10g(10.1.3.5.6), But somehow the loop gets into an infinite loop. Please give your suggestions..
    I have created two variables:
    RuleCount--->(DataType-AlphaNumeric)-->Action(Non_Persistent) -->Refreshing Tab(select count(*) from Rule_Num table);
    Counter-->(DataType-AlphaNumeric)-->Action(Non_Persistent)-->Refreshing Tab(select #Counter+1 from dual);
    I have created a package where I have these variables that help in looping through the RuleCount and insert some dummy records into a table using a procedure.
    Package --> RuleCount(I have made this as a DECLARE variable) -->Counter(I have made it a SET VARIABLE and assigned 1 to it)-->RuleCount(I have made this as an evaluate variable and the operator is >= #Counter)
    In the True path, I have an ODI procedure that inserts a dummy record into a table.
    Next I have Counter(I have made this a Refreshing variable) and the okay path of it is pointing to the RuleCount(Evaluate)
    Every time I run the session it creates an infinite loop.
    Did any one face this issue before? Any suggestions would really help
    Thanks,
    Manoj Nair.

  • It shows incorrect time in time zone iphone 4s!! If i select 'set automatically' the london time show is wrong,how do i correct this?

    It shows incorrect time in time zone on my iphone 4s!! If i select 'set automatically' the London time, is wrong,how do i correct this?

    I recently got the same problem and noticed that it only started after I'd downloaded a particular app which used the location feature.  It was the free version of the Weather Channel that started it off and, since I've deleted it, I've not had the problem of being in Singapore or China since!
    I expect there will be other apps that cause the same issues - probably a bad piece of code being used to pick up the location function.  It might be worth trying to turn individual apps off that feature in location services to pinpoint which other apps may causing your problem.
    Hope this helps!

  • Need clustering of ODI 10g

    Hi Gurus,
    We have a requirement in which we need to install Clustering (High Availability) for ODI 10g.
    Can anyone please help me regarding this issue ASAP.
    Any Help is Greatly Appreciable.
    Regards,
    Pavan Kumar.

    ODI 11g by itself does not have any failover mechanism, ODI uses the fail-over mechanism implemented by the Application Server under which ODI J2EE Agents will be running i.e. if we have an ODI J2EE agent deployed on Weblogic for instance.
    However, we can use the Load Balancing feature in ODI 10g or 11g to attain Pseudo High Availability, which can be implemented in the below mentioned steps,
    1.     On a specific host machine, define a "parent" Agent whose only function is to route ODI Scenario start-up commands to the appropriate "child" Agents.
    2.     Define more than one "child" Agent
    3.     For each "child" Agent on the cluster set the Concurrent Session Number parameter with a large value.
    4.     Open the Load balancing tab of the "parent" Agent and activate the checkbox for the "child" Agents on the cluster nodes (and not for the "parent" Agent itself). Limit the number of sessions on the "parent" Agent to (number of "child" Agents+2).
    5.     Route all ODI Scenario start-up commands and schedules to the "parent" Agent. This Agent will then forward ODI Scenarios to the most suitable child Agent
    Roles of the “Parent” agent:
         The "parent" Agent should be used to dispatch the executions on its "child" Agents that are alive or running.
         The "parent" Agent is able to detect that a "child" Agent is no longer running.
         Also, “parent” Agent is able to detect a "child" Agent that has just been started.
    Note however that, once an execution has started on Agent A, if Agent A "dies", the current execution will NOT be moved on another Agent.
    The "dying" execution should be manually pushed into the queue in order to have the "parent" Agent redistribute it on its still alive "child" Agents.
    One concern is the "parent" Agent:
         If it dies, the already distributed tasks will continue to be executed on the corresponding "child" Agent.
         If the "parent" Agent dies, it should be restarted as soon as possible, in order to keep the flow active.
         Given its very important role, it should be placed on a machine that has a high uptime coefficient. If the machine stops, the Agent should be restarted ASAP.

  • How to stop a running job in 10g Scheduler?

    The following is a duplicate post. I posted the following to the general database forum before seeing that otn has a new scheduler forum:
    I am not able to find in the Admin Guide a method to stop a currently running instance of a job in the 10g scheduler.
    In 9i, I run the following script calling DBMS_JOB.broken and DBMS_JOB.remove to shut down currently running jobs:
    DECLARE
    jobid NUMBER;
    CURSOR c1
    IS
    SELECT job
    FROM dba_jobs
    WHERE priv_user = 'ME';
    BEGIN
    OPEN c1;
    LOOP
    FETCH c1
    INTO jobid;
    EXIT WHEN c1%NOTFOUND;
    DBMS_JOB.broken (jobid, TRUE);
    COMMIT;
    DBMS_JOB.remove (jobid);
    COMMIT;
    END LOOP;
    CLOSE c1;
    END;
    How may I create similar code to shut down currently running jobs using DBMS_SCHEDULER in 10g? According to the Admin Guide, disabling jobs with the force option will still allow the job to finish.
    How can I terminate a running job in 10g?

    You can stop a currently running job using the STOP_JOB api.
    STOP_JOB Procedure
    This procedure stops currently running jobs or all jobs in a job class. Any instance of the job will be stopped. After stopping the job, the state of a one-time job will be set to SUCCEEDED whereas the state of a repeating job will be set to SCHEDULED or COMPLETED depending on whether the next run of the job is scheduled.
    Syntax
    DBMS_SCHEDULER.STOP_JOB (
    job_name IN VARCHAR2
    force IN BOOLEAN DEFAULT FALSE);
    Parameters
    Table 83-44 STOP_JOB Procedure Parameters
    Parameter Description
    job_name
    The name of the job or job class. Can be a comma-delimited list. For a job class, the SYS schema should be specified.
    If the name of a job class is specified, the jobs that belong to that job class are stopped. The job class is not affected by this call.
    force
    If force is set to FALSE, the Scheduler tries to gracefully stop the job using an interrupt mechanism. This method gives control back to the slave process, which can update the status of the job in the job queue to stopped. If this fails, an error is returned.
    If force is set to TRUE, the Scheduler will immediately terminate the job slave. Oracle recommends that STOP_JOB with force set to TRUE be used only after a STOP_JOB with force set to FALSE has failed.
    Use of the force option requires the MANAGE SCHEDULER system privilege.
    Setting force to TRUE is not supported for jobs of type executable.
    Usage Notes
    STOP_JOB without the force option requires that you be the owner of the job or have ALTER privileges on that job. You can also stop a job if you have the CREATE ANY JOB or MANAGE SCHEDULER privilege.
    STOP_JOB with the force option requires that have the MANAGE SCHEDULER privilege.
