Office 365 is not activated
Hi,
I have installed office 365 trail version but when I try to activate office I get a pop up saying
"this account is not associated with the office product." I have been using the same live id that I have used to install office.
Can someone please help me resolve this problem.
Thanks!
They'll help you over here.

How to know via PowerShell "did user install office on his computer with office 365 or not"
Hello. Sorry for my english.
Subject: How to know via PowerShell "did user install office on his computer with office 365 or not"
I set to users Office 365 ProPlus license, that allows a user to install Office on up to five computers. I want to know, user use this opportunity or not, install office or not.
User can view his installation in the Office 365 portal:
But how I (like admin Office365) can view this information? Maybe via PowerShell?
Thank you...Hi,
Please see the
blog, I copied the part of here:
====
Viewing a list of Office 365 ProPlus installations
A user can see which computers she has installed Office on by signing in to the Office 365 Portal and going to the
software page.
Only the signed in user can see this information. Even if you are the administrator for your organization's Office 365 subscription, you can't see this information in any of your Office 365 administrative views. This also means you can't deactivate
a user's installation of Office on a specific computer. More on deactivation in a bit.

Shared Office 365 calendars not showing up in iCal
We are using Microsoft's Office 365 and have users with a variety of devices and applications (Mac/iCal/Mail, Windows/Outlook, iPhone, Android, etc.).
I am the administrator of the Exchange accounts. I have created four calendars that are viewable by everyone within our organization (just general "company-wide calendars").
Users with Outlook are able to view those shared calendars just fine. However, I'm not able to add the shared calendars with users using iCal.
If I add them as a delegate, they can see all my calendars, but if I just share the calendar, they get a "no access" error.
Here's where I'm setting the shared calendar permissions. I've tried setting them as Reviewer, setting the Default as Reviewer, and setting them as Owner.
Because it works fine in Outlook, I'm wondering if it's an iCal problem. For cross-referencing purposes, here's my issue at Office 365's community: Shared calendars not showing up in Apple iCalHi All, after much trial and tribulation, this works for me on BusyCal. It is an app you can get on the apple store.
Calendar should be created then shared with the busycal user. The link does not work, but add exchange account as you would on Mac Calendar under preference>accounts. The go to the sharing tab and click plus and type in email of person who shared calendar. It will auto populate. For some reason it does not work under delegation in Mac Calendar
The key and where I spent 4 days on the phone with apple and office 365, is that the owner of the calendar has to share their calendar, named :"calendar" They can just click the permission "show availability only." Once they do that, any other calendars they have created and added you as full permissions or details, you can see. I see nothing on their calendar called "calendar" Not the perfect solution, but it works. BusyCal is $30
If this does not make sense feel free to message me or I will respond here. -
Office 365 calendars not showing
I'm running Version 8.0 (2032.6.1) of iCal on Yosemite. My main calendar is hosted on Office 365.
There was a problem with duplicated entries in the calendar, which actually meant that iCal would crash on startup. I fixed that by deleting the duplicates with temporary access to the Windows version of Outlook. As part of trying to get iCal to work again, after the repair of the calendar, I removed the various caches and .plist files, as recommended on various sites. Now, I'm in a slightly strange state in that the Exchange (Office 365) account isn't listed in the iCal list of accounts, and entries for that calendar are not showing, it is still in some way connected, because the application icon shows the number of outstanding entries.
What is the best way of restoring visibility of the Office 365 calendar in iCal?
I've tried deleting and re-adding this account, but it hasn't helped.Hi All, after much trial and tribulation, this works for me on BusyCal. It is an app you can get on the apple store.

Office 365 installation not getting past installation prompt
Have looked through the articles out there about receiving errors and so on.
My problem is that I simply can't get past this screen:
The password for my Apple account is correct however nothing happens after this.
If I take to Microsoft helpdesk they say its an Apple problem, if I talk to Apple customer service its of course a Microsoft problem...
In the meantime I have tried changing passwords, region settings and so on - surely its not meant to be this difficult?Thank you for the fast reply Gary.

Office 365 Calendar Not Syncing with my Z10
I have Office 365 Plan P1 and have set up my email Exchange 365 account on my Z10. Emails, Contacts & Memos sync correctly on all my devices - desktop, iPad (sorry!) and on my Z10, but Calendar does not sync at all. Can anyone help please? Am I using the correct Office 365 Plan (P1)?
Hi DT655,
Thanks for your reply. Since my original post I have upgraded and subscribed to Office 365 Midsize Business. All has gone well, everything has been migrated over and all has been synced correctly.
Except my BlackBerry Z10 where Calendar syncs everything going forward, but only three months back. My BB PlayBook is the same (only three months back). However, my desktop and iPads sync all events going back many years.
I have followed your instructions by deleting my old e-mail accounts on both my Z10 and my PlayBook and reinstalled them using the Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, but it is still the same - only three months back on both BB devices.
As my other devices sync all events going back many years, and as there used to be an option within the old BB Desktop Manager to sync All Events, I am sure the restriction I now have must be a BB issue and not an Office 365 issue. Do you agree, and do you know where I can get to some settings that allow me to change the three month default?
Thanks. -
Project Pro for Office 365 or not?
Hello,
What are the differences between the two "MS Project" we can download from these two web pages of Office 365 : are they the same product?
Your Office, on request
Software: install of the last version of Project:
Thanks and regardsYou got it Robert!
On demand install will be like streaming (see this
link) on any computer with the latest version.
Whereas the "traditional" Project install will be for one-shot install on your office computer.
Hope this helps.

Environment: 1x Exchange 2013 Mailbox server
1x Exchange 2013 CAS server
All users migrated to office365. MX record pointed to Office365
DIRSync implemented
Clarification: All users are now using Office365. As per recommendation from Microsoft there should be 1 exchange server to be retained and the rest can be decommissioned. I tried to test the scenario by shutting down the exchange server
with the mailbox role and leaving the exchange server with CAS role online. I tried to run Exchange Management shell on the CAS but I'm getting errors. To clarify, once I have uninstalled the Exchange server mailbox will the CAS still look for the mailbox
server? Or do I need to decommission both Exchange servers and then install a new Exchange server with CAS role?Hi
If you are looking for a hybrid coexistence with office 365 then at least one Exchange 2013 Client Access and one
Exchange 2013 Mailbox server must be installed in the on-premises organization to run the Hybrid Configuration wizard and support Exchange 2013-based hybrid deployment functionality.
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh534377(v=exchg.150).aspx
Summary - You need to have at-least one CAS and MBX combined together in onpremise or it can even be seperate CAS and seperate MBX but microsoft recommends to have both CAS and MBX together in onpremise

I recently upgraded to Microsoft 365 Home and use Outlook 2013. The Acrobat PDFMaker Addin worked fine in Office 2010. Now, I get an error message: Not loaded. A runtime error occurred during the loading of the COM Add-in.
I use Adobe Acrobat X Professional.
I have restarted Outlook, restarted my computer, and nothing changes.
Does anyone have a solution?
SteveI do not think that AA X is compatible with the newest versions of OFFICE and such. Your only choice is to print to the Adobe PDF printer or use the MS plugins to create PDFs.

60 Minutes office 365 subscription not available
Hi all
I have a valid 365 subscription with 60 mins per month calling. When i try and call the UK Skype reports I doint have any credit. Any ideas? Sounds like its a common issue?
Thanks
GuyHello and welcome to the Skype Community.
Your account shows that you are attempting to call a UK "shared cost" premium #. These UK premium cost lines are very expensive and can't be included in any Subscription.

Office 365 with Shared Computer Activation (on RDS 2012)
Hi,
I have installed Office 365 (shared activation method) on RDS 2012.
This works fine, users can activate using their Office 365 account and the entire Office suite appears activated.
The issue is that the users intermittently (random intervals) have to re-enter their details and reactivate.
Under what circumstances should the users have to reactivate, sometimes I can logon and activate and the next logon I have to do it again. Other times it can last for days..
Thanks.SCA is referenced here:

If you have ADFS or DirSync to your O365 tenant, most likely you wouldn't see this happening, it would all hookup seamlessly (a lot like KMS just does...)

Users not syncing between Office 365 and CRM Online 2015
Hi,
I added a new user (In-cloud) to Office365 yesterday. Obviously the sync between Office365 and CRM Online 2015 is not working anymore. When trying to log in to CRM it says "You are not a member of this organization". The user is Global Administrator.
I waited for over 14 hours now, so I think waiting for the sync to start is not an option anymore.
Also, I do not use security groups to specify users which should be synced.
Best
PatrickDid you actually give that user a CRM License? Just adding them to Office 365 does not add them to CRM.

Licencing Office 365 on Remote Desktop Services
So I am looking to move to Office 365 in the near future instead of just renewing my SA against Office standard.
I read somewhere that in order to continue to be able to clone these installs as part of my Terminal Server rollout, I need to purchase at least on Office licence on SA.
This is to allows access to the .ISO file and KMS licence. To keep compliant, the rest I will purchase via Office 365.
Does that sound about right and can I use Office 365 Mid Business as the version or does it have to be Pro?I read somewhere that in order to continue to be able to clone these installs as part of my Terminal Server rollout, I need to purchase at least on Office licence on SA.
This is to allows access to the .ISO file and KMS licence. To keep compliant, the rest I will purchase via Office 365.
I'm not quite sure what do you mean by "clone these installs as part of my Terminal Serverl...". If you mean use Remote Desktop Services (RDS) to provide shared computers to users in your organization, you can use
shared computer activation to do this.
Please note, you have to do this with
Office Deployment Tool. Here is the reference you'll need:
http://blogs.technet.com/b/uspartner_ts2team/archive/2014/09/03/office-365-shared-computer-activation.aspx
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn782858(v=office.15).aspx
Office 365 has nothing to do with .ISO file and KMS licence. It uses Click-to-Run as the new installation technology, and must be activated with the Microsoft account associated with your subscription.

Questions in Office 365 - Product Office Addins - How Best To Set Up Test & Dev Environments
Hello Team,
One of our customer raised this below query: (Please refer :
http://community.office365.com/en-us/f/172/p/290555/887029.aspx#887029)
We have an existing product which has a set of components which are
Office Addins, working on Office 2007, 2010, 2013.
We have a customer who has asked us to support these on Office 365, as their Microsoft strategy is to move to this platform.
Our understanding is that there are two flavors of Office 365:
A browser-based version written in JavaScript (akin to Google Docs)
version which installs the full Office 2013 on the client, using Click-To-Run as the deployment technology.
We are planning to work with option 2 only just now (for Office 2013 only – not for 2010 or 2007).
In order for us to start working on this, we’ll need Office 365 clients installed both in our development and test environments. We see that we can access Office 365 through our MSDN subscription by doing this:
a. Launching this site:
https://mspartner.microsoft.com/en/us/Pages/index.aspx
b. Signing in
c. Clicking on Resources->Access my software and keys
d. Choosing Office 365
However when we do this, we get this information:
"Important Information on activating your cloud licenses Your cloud product key can only be redeemed once. Therefore, in order to activate your Internal-use cloud
licenses on your existing cloud tenant, you MUST sign in BEFORE you activate your 25 digit cloud product key. Once your cloud product key has been redeemed, you will be unable to use it again.
You have the choice to deploy your program license grants as an on-premises only, online only, or an on-premises and online combination solution. Your combined usage
for on-premises Office products and Office 365 may not exceed your program license entitlement. Country and worldwide license maximums apply. To ensure you are compliant with program policy and guidelines, refer to the Product Usage Guide."
We are not clear on what the above means for us exactly, and which option we should choose: on-premises only, online only, or an on-premises and
online combination solution.
Please advise. Many Thanks.
