OfflineWebApplicationConnection returns a "person cannot be found" exception

When I tried to access data via a offline app, I met this
"The unique identifier 32c78874-8e4e-4e04-bfcc-20a99d25b240 for the person cannot be found."
my code is as below :
Guid callingAppId = new Guid("30972d0e-2d58-4041-9bcc-6d1eb2626580");
Guid offlinePersonId = new Guid("32c78874-8e4e-4e04-bfcc-20a99d25b240");
Guid recordId = new Guid("ec67da02-5d77-4306-9061-2feed0fca187");
string serviceUrl = "https://platform.healthvault-ppe.com/platform/";
WebApplicationCredential cred = new WebApplicationCredential(callingAppId);
OfflineWebApplicationConnection con = new OfflineWebApplicationConnection(cred,callingAppId,serviceUrl,offlinePersonId);
con.Authenticate();
con.RequestTimeoutSeconds = 300;
HealthRecordAccessor accessor = new HealthRecordAccessor(con, offlinePersonId);
// var records = con.GetAuthorizedRecords();
HealthRecordSearcher searcher = accessor.CreateSearcher();
HealthRecordFilter filter = new HealthRecordFilter(Height.TypeId);
searcher.Filters.Add(filter);
HealthRecordItemCollection recs = searcher.GetMatchingItems()[0];
the appId , personId , and recordId are all got from a online app
while the online app works quite well, I've no idea what's going wrong with my offline one.
Anyone can help or share the same experience?
Many Thanks.

Hello
What was happening is the following as of lot of errors in sharepoint they are not very descriptive “Group
cannot be found” mean that group had no permission within site, to be accessible the group should have at least read permission within the site.
 So if you create new group or your using group with no access, you will have the error
Resolution :
Give permission to your group on the site

  • "Group cannot be found" exception

    I have the following code:
    m_Web.SiteGroups.Add(groupName, groupOwner, m_Web.CurrentUser, String.Format(Common.SPGroupDescription, m_Web.Name));
    SPGroup newGroup = m_Web.SiteGroups[groupName];
    The above code fails when i try to assign the group i just created to the newGroup variable.
    In my Dev platform which is a 32- bit Windows Server 2008 running WSS 3.0 that code runs perfectly.
    But in my production platform which is a 64-bit Windows Server 2008 i throws an exception saying "Group cannot be found".
    In my dev environment all my unit tests pass, so i don't know what i am doing wrong. Does anyone know how to handle this problem?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Forms application returns "ORA-01403 no data found" exception on Windows 7

    Hi everyone,
    I am currently involved in an application compatibility project for an O/S migration from Windows XP to Windows 7.
    We have a legacy Oracle Dev6i P18 Forms application that has been working perfectly on Windows XP for the last decade or so. When we installed the same application on Windows 7, it returned a pop-up error message with the text: "ORA-01403 no data found" when performing a certain operation (clicking on a Submit button in a specific form). The same operation works successfully on Windows XP displaying the message "Submit has been successful".
    This error is well documented and the solution involves adding an exception handler to the faulting SQL statement(s) in order to handle the ORA-01403 exception. Unfortunately, the application is composed of compiled forms (.FMX) and we no longer have the source code so I can't implement this solution.
    I ran a file comparison utility (WinDiff from the Windows SDK) and confirmed that all the files in the application folder and the Oracle Dev6i P18 folder are identical on both the Windows XP and Windows 7 systems.
    I enabled tracing in SQLNet.ORA by configuring TRACE_LEVEL_CLIENT=SUPPORT (I know, too verbose) and other related settings on both systems and have uploaded the traces to my SkyDrive for public viewing:
    http://sdrv.ms/10BNYtI
    The traces show that the "ORA-01403" exception occurs many times on both Windows XP and Windows 7 systems as a result of various SQL statements being executed, for instance:
    SELECT TASK_ID,TASK_DETAIL_STATUS,ASSIGNED_DATE FROM TASK_DETAILS WHERE TASK_ID = :b1 AND TASK_DETAIL_STATUS = (SELECT ID FROM V_TASK_STATUS WHERE ABBREVIATION = 'PLANNED' ) FOR UPDATE OF TASK_DETAIL_STATUS,ASSIGNED_DATE
    UPDATE TASK_DETAILS SET ASSIGNED_DATE=NTMS_UTIL.GET_SERVER_DATE,TASK_DETAIL_STATUS=(SELECT ID FROM V_TASK_STATUS WHERE ABBREVIATION = 'ASSIGNED' ) WHERE ROWID = :b1
    ORA-01403: no data found.
    So the same error happens on both Windows XP and Windows 7.
    On Windows XP, the error is somehow handled, and does not cause the "Submit" operation to fail.
    On Windows 7, however, the error bubbles to the surface and is displayed to the user, thus halting the "Submit" operation.

    Thank you. I'm well aware that adding an exception handler is the classic solution to the ORA-01403 error. However, like I mentioned in my original post, I don't have the source code. All I have are the compiled .FMX forms so I can't implement such a solution:

  • Runtime libraries cannot be found

    Hello,
    We have a J2EE application which uses Birt to generate report. The application worked fine on workshop 9. But after migrating to 10.3, if we deploy the application from workshop, there's a "HTML emitter required libraries cannot be found" exception thrown from Birt module at run time. But the application works just fine if we deploy it from the Weblogic Server Admin console.
    Could someone give me some hint what could be wrong?
    Thanks in advance.

    Following is the error log we see when deploying our application from workshop. But there's no error when deploying the application EAR from Admin console and reports can be generated:

    A site I need for consulting purposes (http://www.aegtelecom.com.pt/) requires an add-on known as “Intranet for Firefox”. When one accepts the add-on installation, a return message is displayed claiming that it cannot be found. At this point, I have to use IE to access the site. However, being a steadfast Firefox user, I would prefer to use Firefox for this purpose.

    Have you tried contacting that web site's support department for help with that issue? <br />
    If that web site can't find the add-on it says is needed, they need to fix that problem with their servers.
    Or you can try using IE Tab2 to run IE in a Firefox tab. <br />

    I drafted an email, hit my home button and went to Safari before sending the email or saving it as a draft. When I returned to mail, the email I was working on cannot be found. How can I recover it?

    I've found that since I installed iOS7, I've had this problem a lot. In iOS6, I was initially cautious about leaving a draft open and unsaved while I used other apps, but soon found it was quite reliable and they were always still there when I returned to Mail.
    With the first version of iOS7, the draft was almost certain to be gone when I returned. Since iOS7.0.4 it's a lot better, but not reliable enough to trust. I've got into the habit of using Cancel/Save Draft *every* time I need to use Safari, etc, before continuing with an email I'm typing. It's just not worth having to retype it.
    Note that when you return to the Mail app, you don't have to go to the Drafts folder to find your draft again. Just tap and hold the New Message icon, and a list of drafts will appear. The most recent one will be at the top. I've found that this tip makes the idea of having to cancel, save and reopen much less tedious.

  • No Data Found Exception in bulk updates

    I am trying to catch no data found exception in bulk updates when it does not find a record to update in the forall loop.

    No Data Found isn't an exception raised when an UPDATE cannot find any records to process.
    SQL%ROWCOUNT can be used to determine the number of rows affected by an update statement, but if 0 rows are updated then no exception will be raised (it's just not how things work).
    If you post your actual CURSOR (casualty) declaration, it's quite possible we can help you create a single SQL statement to meet your requirement (a single SQL will be faster than your current implementation).
    Have you looked in to using the MERGE command?

  • IPod cannot be synced the required disc cannot be found

    Hello i dont know if someone already posted about this, i couldnt find something like it.
    My iPod is a Shuffle first generation
    When i connect my ipod to my computer it detects its as normal (Driver F or G), then itunes opens and then says "ipod has been succesfully synced" as it always does, but now when i try to put a song in it it stays for like 5 minutes with "Syncing iPod do not disconnect" after those 5 minutes a message appears:
    "The iPod "IPOD" cannot be synced. The required disc cannot be found."
    I tried restoring it but i couldnt it said something about error in iPod so it erased all files in the iPod including the ones in iPod control hidden folder. The weird thing is that i connected it to 5 iMacs from my school and there iTunes had no problem syncing music to my iPod and i could listen to it and everything but when i returned home the old problem came back, i dont want to go to my school to sync my iPod everytime i want to erase or put another song in it.
    Please i need to solve this ive had my iPod for 1 1/2 years and it worked perfect until recently and i live in mexico i cant order a replacement or anything. i think this happened after an itunes upgrade i think it was 7.4, my ipod has the latest version for ipod shuffle first generation 7.5

    I have the same problems with 2 different ipod shuffles (1 is a 1st Generation, the other a 2nd generation). I have tried them on several different PCs with the same error. I followed the apple document listed in this disussion an none of the solutions work for me. I ended up using the Apple reset tool to get them working, only to have the problem come back when I trying syncing with pcs that have I-Tunes 7.3.x or 7.4.x. After resetting it again, I found a PC that hadn't been updated for a while and had I-Tunes 7.1.x. That worked as I expected and I was able to sync multiple times without any issues. I would be willing to go back to that version except the I-tunes backup I have is 6 months old and missing alot of music purchased since then and the current libraries don't work on the older version. Any suggestion on what is going on with the 7.3 and 7.4 versions of I-Tunes and the shuffles and how I can resolve the problem?

    I have created and published a EJB in Oracle 8i (in a particular
    schema) by running the deployejb tool supplied. The ejb was
    published successfully. On running the client program I get an
    error saying that the mybeans's HomeHelper class cannot be
    found. This error occurs when there is a lookup to the home
    interface of the bean. The exception thrown says Reasons are
    unknown. On checking the objects of type 'JAVA CLASS' I found
    that the homeHelper class object had been created automatically
    be the deploy process. What is the reason for the class not
    found exception and what can I do to correct it. ?
    The code for the beans is as given below :

  • Click to call 7.0.12.0 on Windows 7 - Webdialer service cannot be found

    Hi Guys,
    I am trying to get click to call 7 working on Windows 7. I keep getting "Webdialer service cannot be found" message when entering the callmanager IP in Webdialer IP field and save.
    I have added the proxy exception https://x.x.x.x:8443      (x.x.x.x is the callmanager IP)
    Still it is complaining about web dialer service.
    Click to call version : 7.0.12.0
    Windows 7 Professional
    Callmanager Version: 7.1.5.32900-2
    Same click to call version works ok when installed on Windows XP machine. Just incase, I unsiatleld and resinstaleld clicktocall on windows 7 by running as Administrator eventhought he user accoutn I logged in has administrator rights ( As on same machine, cipc tftp server edit option didnt come until I install by ruinning the exe as administrator eventhough I logged in as a user with administrator rights.)
    Any help would be appreciated.
    thanks in advance,
    Sivaji

    Can you access the webdialer URL from the same PC using the browser?
    If you can, then i've seen issues with clicktocall (the executable) being blocked on the PC by agressive personal firewall/security software, like Symantec Endpoint Protection. Something to do with the executable trying to bind or create a port or miniport. Try it on a PC on the same subnet but without the security software.
    Alternatively, If you can't even access the webdialer URL from that PC then you either have a network connectivity problem between PC and CallManager, or your webdialer service is not activated. Possibly a proxy is getting in the way.
    The Webdialer service only needs to be activated and running on one node in the cluster and in general can run on the Publisher.
    On my cluster (version 8.6) the webdialer URL is https://x.x.x.x/webdialer/Webdialer - you can find out the URL by looking in "directory" after logging into CCMUser and looking at the URL's directory where you can click on extensions. I think it has changed over major releases.

  • Polycom CX 600 - Certificate web service cannot be found

    Hi All,
    I know, there are some same issues in the forum, bot those are not helpful for me. My problem is the same, via network cable (using just DHCP) the Polycom CX 600 Lync Phone are not able to sign in (however 1 month ago it was), returning the error message:
    'Certificate web service cannot be found.'
    I've double checked the DHCP options and all of them are OK! We are not using Windows DHCP, but the options are right, the 43 option containing the proper hexa value, the sub-options are also valid. From the DHCP log I can verify that the device got the
    options, but the phone still not able to sign in.
    From the browser I cannot open the device, by it's IP, just with FTP:\\'IP'. There I could find a .clg1 log file, but it not containing useful information for me.
    This is the link of the log file: http://speedy.sh/XAgMT/system.clg1
    If I run the DHCPUtil.exe -emulateclient on my workstation, I got the following:
    Starting Discovery ...
    Result: Failure =  -2147014848
    Or... sometimes it has a result:

  • When creating a custom default user profile for an image, I get the error "A keychain cannot be found to store "safari" when a new user logs in for the first time.

    My "profile" account works flawlessly with the exception of safari. I had copied the entire user template folder to the default location in OS X 10.10 and removed the entire keychain folder. However, whenever someone logs into the computer for the first time and opens Safari, they are greeted with the error message "A keychain cannot be found to store safari".

    If you've just changed your login password in Recovery mode, follow these instructions. Otherwise, see below.
    At some point, you may have reset your keychain to default in Keychain Access. That action would have caused your login keychain to be renamed.
    Back up all data before proceeding.
    In Keychain Access, delete the login keychain from the keychain list. Choose Delete References when prompted, not Delete References & Files.
    Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it, then copy the text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C:
    ~/Library/Keychains
    In the Finder, select
              Go ▹ Go to Folder...
    from the menu bar, paste into the box that opens (command-V), and press return. A folder will open. Rename the file "login.keychain" in that folder to something like "login-old.keychain". Rename the file "login_renamed_1.keychain" to "login.keychain". You can then close the folder.
    Back in Keychain Access, select
              File ▹ Add Keychain...
    from the menu bar. Add back the file now named "login.keychain". If any of your needed keychain items are missing from it, also add back the file you named "login-old.keychain". I suggest you transfer any needed items from that keychain to the login keychain, then delete it. The transfers are made by drag-and-drop in Keychain Access. You'll need to enter your password for each item transferred.

  • Finder - The application cannot be found.

    Installed recent Apple security update on 7/3/08, now running OS X 10.5.4. Clicking on the Finder logo on the Dock gives "The application cannot be found."
    This is predictably spectacular news. While the Finder might not be perfect, just see how long you'd last without it. For instance, try to empty your trash. Thankfully, I normally use Butler for working with the system and generally don't use Finder, except to empty the trash and move occassional files around.
    I've been fumbling along with this for less than a week but finally have time to troubleshoot this issue. In the interim, I managed to mount a disk image and load Path Finder, which is a Finder alternative. While it looks nice, and works as advertised, I'd rather not have to pay to be able to move files graphically. Similarly, Spotlight no longer returns search results, though I can type searches.
    Troubleshooting I've done so far:
    1. Boot from my 10.5 upgrade DVD.
    2. Run "Disk Utility" from 10.5 upgrade DVD. Selected "Verify Permissions". Selected "Fix Permissions". Then selected "Verify disk", but that didn't give any errors.
    3. Installed OnyX.
    4. Using Onyx, selected "Verify - Preferences". There was something wrong with my java.plist file so I deleted that. No other errors.
    5. Onyx - Automation - selected everything. Which means:
    "Repair Permissions"
    "Execute Maintenance Scripts"
    "Rebuild LaunchServices"
    "Rebuild Display of folders content"
    "Cleaning system cache"
    "Cleaning User cache"
    "Cleaning fonts cache"
    "Cleaning Logs and Crashreporter"
    "Cleaning Temporary items"
    "Cleaning Recent items and web browsers' history"
    5. Funny enough, before OnyX prompted me to reboot it SHOWED A FINDER WINDOW.
    6. Reboot. Finder still gives "The application cannot be found."
    7. Onyx - Parameters - Finder - Restore Defaults.
    8. Reboot.
    9. Finder still gives "The application cannot be found."
    l0. Post to Apple support forums.

    Doing a tail -f /var/log/system.log showed no new entries when I tried to launch Finder. Similarly, bringing up Console with "All Messages" also brings up nothing when I try to launch finder.
    Now, doing a ls -l of /System/Library/CoreServices brings up this gem:
    -rwxr-xr-x@ 1 root wheel 0 Sep 23 2007 Finder
    There's also no Finder.app in there.
    locate Finder.app | egrep -v -i "Path Finder"
    gives nothing as well.
    I now know how the Windows people I've met feel when some bright management-type has deleted explorer.exe. However, I don't really fit into any of those categories, and I'm a bit unsettled about this all being a regular security update.
    So, then, where would I go find Finder.app, or is it supposed to be just a symlink to something else? I've got a PPC iMac running 10.4, but I'd suspect that I can't JUST copy the directory on over without borking something.

  • Importing CD's to iTunes fail with "The required folder cannot be found"

    I have my iTunes library on an external drive.  Everything works fine, except that I cannot import CD's into iTunes.  When I try, I get the error "The required folder cannot be found".  My work around currently is to:
    1. Upfdate my preference for "iTunes Media Folder Location" to the standard location by clicking on the "Reset" button.
    2. Import the CD
    3. Copy the folder that it created with the songs to the correct location on the external disk
    4. Update the preference or Folder Location back to my external library location
    5. Double click on the first song where I get the message that it cannot be located
    6. Locate it manually, and iTunes then searches for the others and fix the location.
    This is extremely frustrating and impractical.  I am on the very latest release and it is still happening.  Does anyone know how to get around it?

    I have the same problem as pyzaptys' with the exception that there is no My Music folder in the default location. I created one but the iTunes install cannot see it. I used the tweakui as suggested in the response to the original post but the app does not see the My Music folder in the special folders selections.
    I have tried many angles but to no avail.
    To pyzaptys: try these out:
