OIM: Syntax Error running SampleHttpClient

Hi,
I'm trying to execute the SPML java client located in <inst home>\server\xellerate\SPMLWS\SampleHttpClient.
I get a syntax error, but I'm actually running the program unchanged using the unmodified xml request file in the SampleHttpClient\sampleRequests directory.
Someone has ever played with this little program? Ever had this problem?
Below the error.
Env: OIM 9.1.0
App serv: JBOSS
Thank you.

Hi,
make sure you have deployed the SPML WS first as per:
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E10391_01/doc.910/e10366/spml.htm#CHDEGDEC
The error you are getting is in fact an generic error from the JBOSS saying that the path was not found on the server. And <HR> is just an HTML tag of that error page.
Look in the provided code and make sure you can reach the link first in the browser.

  • Syntax error running J2EE server

    I am trying to run the J2EE server in windows 98, I have set all of the enviroment variables but recieve 3 syntax errors when I run the J2EE program, it then attempts to run java but it acts as though the program has been run with no arguments passed and just tells me the possible arguments for the java program, could u please help me

    Leviking ... what do you mean by a non-server machine?a non server machine is called a workstation, it is usually a machine that other machines on the network do not depend on.
    If I have a j2ee server (for example JBoss, Websphere, Resin, etc.) installed and running on my machine (be it >win95), I'm in business, ain't I?sure but if you follow your class well you know that a J2EE server is a distributed server that enables clients(workstations) to access a large object store ( bin) and that centrelizes the informations, that's why a win 98 machine alone is only good for developping and learning at home and will be no good to a business for example.
    If you mean that the machine won't be able to handle the load ... well, for testing and learning ... there ain't no load >so that be the purpose! your definetly right here to learn and try stuff it's good but load control is an important part of a well develop j2ee application. and i tough you would of like to know it
    keep up the good work

  • Syntax error running photomerge

    Trying to run photomerge on Photoshop CC ( 14.1.2 x64 ) on Mac OSX 10.9, I get :
         Error 8: Syntax error.
         Line: 1
         ->
    Photomerge worked fine day or two ago, but now it fails.
    The most relevant file i can find is /Root/Applications/Adobe Photoshop CC/Scripts/photomerge.jsx, 38KB, last modified July 8, 2013, 4:46 pm, same as most of the other files in that directory.
    I restarted the maching ( the Microsoft solution ), but the problem continues. Worse, Lightroom won't start, generating some OS alert, "Lightroom quit unexpectedly".
    One unusual circumstance, which should hopefullybe totally irrelevant to this problem. I lost my wallet last week, so my credit card was cancelled, and Adobe has been unable to charge my November installment for CC. I've updated the info for the replacement card, but in any case would not expect such a reaction :-)
    Tom

    I saw advice about re-installing Photoshop, but it didn't work for me; the CC app told me Photoshop was uop to date. Even after I deleted Photoshop, it was still up to date :-)
    I contacted the live-chat consultants and talked to Sunil, who suggested I download the clean-up tool. Unfortunately, it didn't work out-of-the-download, as he suggested, but the Readme file advised rebooting the maching. After the reboot, the cleanup tool deleted all the CC manager stuff. I had to reinstall all the apps I wanted : photoshop, Lightroom, and Bridge, but they seem to work fine, and phoromerge works once again.

  • Syntax error in program SAPLRRK0 - while running query in Bex/Portal

    Hi all,
    we just transported all the objects from dev to QA and data is loaded and everything went good. We are SPS9 and front end patch 903
    Now I am trying to run queries on Bex analyzer and portal and I am getting this error.
    "Syntax error in program SAPLRRK0."
    Also on portal I am getting these extra messages
    Error while executing function module: BICS_PROV_SUBMIT_VARIABLES
    Error while executing function module: BICS_PROV_OPEN
    I am researching but any input is appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Kiran

    Thanks Prakash,
    I understand the pre-requisite notes issue but when we are moving like 50 notes from BW Dev to BW QA i am not sure how it works. I overheard the basis guy saying he is going to appy notes as per time stamp they were applied in BW Dev system. I will check on that though.
    I have applied notes 969330, 969772, 977912,978359, 981814, 987135 in last 2 weeks. (which probaly are some how related to the issue). We have also applied some BI-Java notes in Portal Dev which are not transported to Portal QA.
    Thanks,
    Kiran

  • Syntax error while running the Adobe Form

    Hi to all,
    I have created an interface for adobe from
    Example:  F4_HELP type ZST
    Where ZST  is structure type.
    ZST structure has following field.
    1)     MATERIAL type MATNR
    2)     BASE_QTY type BASMN (BASMN of type QUAN, length 13 with ref table RC29K, and ref field BMEIN)
    Interface and form successful activated.
    But when I run adobe from it give syntax error for ref table RC29K, and ref field BMEIN
    Field u201CRC29K- BMEIN u201Cis unknown. It is neither in one of the specified tables nor defined by a "DATA" statement.
    Please can anyone tell me the solution for that?
    I shall be thankful to you for this.
    Regards
    Pavneet Rana

    Thanks For reply
    I have already maintained the ref table and field for field BASE_QTY type BASMN
    Ref table RC29K, and ref field BMEIN.
    But still error is coming.
    please can any one tell me the solution for that.
    i shall be thankful to you for this.

  • Syntax Error while running step 34 (35) after unicode conversion

    Hello,
    We are converting our test system to Unicode to find out how to do it
    in our production system. We are at step 34/35 (Starting RFC job's) in
    the database installation so we are almost done but we have encounted a
    problem that we can't find a solution to. The error log in Sapinst give this
    information:
    ERROR      2008-11-09 11:19:19 [iaxxrfcimp.cpp:1103]           CAbRfcImpl::performFunctionCall FRF-00025  Unable to call function.
    Error message: ?`>?/?????????>??????/_???&<?(????????????????????????????????????????????????? .
    At the same time we can read the following text in dev_w1 (and dev_w0 and so on):
    A  *** ERROR => Syntax error in program SAPLBTCH                                 [abgen.c      1388]

    The error don't always look the same, here is another example:
    A  *** ERROR => Syntax error in program SAPLSALC                                 [abgen.c      1388]
    A  *** ERROR => > Include LSALCU54                                 line 55 [abgen.c      1390]

    A  *** ERROR => > âu2018MTMCNAMEâu2018MTNUMRANGEâu2018MTUIDâu2018". [abgen.c 1395]
    The common thing is Syntax error. If we try to log in to the system using SAP Gui we get this message: "Syntax error in program SAPMS380".
    In the file dev_disp we can read a lot of these:

    But we should have enough WP since noone has loggen on to the system.

    Any sugestions on how to fix this would be greatly appreaciated.
    Thank you!

    Hello Constantin,
    As the message suggests, FAGLFREESEL should be a Structure. CHeck in your system whether it has been created as a sturcture.
    Have you checked SAP Service marketplace for the SAP Note. There are couple of SAP notes available for 2013 for few countries. Check whether anything applicable to your country.
    If not, raise a OSS note with SAP.

  • Syntax error when running GLPLUP - Flex Plan Upload

    HI,
    We want use transaction GLPLUP to perform a Flex Plan Upload, but encounter a syntax error in program RK50003 stating:
    The following syntax error occurred in program "RK500003 " in include
      "PP_FISL_GINC " in
    line 652:
    "The data object "ITDAT1" does not have a component called "XBILK"."
    This program is a local object, and appears to be generated by SAP.  Checking the program attributes the owner and the last person to change this program is a consultant who has rolled off the project, and is not available for help.
    I suspect that there must be some steps to regenerate this code, but I am not certain where to look for this information.
    I have tried running GLPLDEL and GLPLINSTALL, but this did not change RK500003.
    Any insight you can provide on this is greatky appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Roy

    HI,
    I reported this issue with SAP and the following is what they had me do to resolve the issue:
    1. Run transaction GLPLDEL:
    Deletes all generated reports of the planning processor for
    FI-GL/SL planning (application class GLU1). After a new call of
    the planning, these reports will be generated once again.
    2. Run transaction GLPLINSTALL:
    It regenerates necessary database table entries for FI-G/SL Planning
    (tables t8pl*). Make sure that you will perform this step when no
    posting of FI-SL data is running.
    This resolved the issue for us.
    Good luck,
    Roy

  • Session keeps running when the query has a syntax error

    I have a weird scenario.
    Take this query for example: select distinct physassignednum from hsi.docdeficiency where delinqlevel> 0 and dfcystatus in (1,6));
    This query has a syntax error as there is an additional bracket at the end. I know that. When I run it on STJOSE database the session keeps running and never returns. Even if I stop it, it does not. I try to disconnect, it says "Connection is currently busy. Try again?" This behavior is pretty consistent on STJOSET. If I run this query on UMASS database it gives me this error (as expected)

    *Cause:
    *Action:

  • Getting "Unable to run script at line 1: syntax error"  error?

    Hi,
    I want to run a script using the AEGP_ExecuteScript() function. but I got an error "Unable to run script at line 1: syntax error". what could be the rea son for this? shall I inlcude anything extra info in my project?
    Below is the code ...
    char scriptPath[] = "F:\\Documents and Settings\\akshays\\Desktop \\Active Shutter.jsx";
    A_Boolean platform_encodingB = 'B';
    AEGP_MemHandle outResultPH0;
    AEGP_MemHandle outErrorStringPH0;
    utilitySuite5->AEGP_ExecuteScript( pluginID, scriptPath, platform_encodingB, &outResultPH0, &outErrorStringPH0 );
    please help me.
    Thanks
    Manjunath

    This can be debug by using "ExtendSCript Toolkit 2 and Debugger".
    Just open Edit -> Prefernces -> General -> ****
    There enable checkbox "Enable javascript debugger".
    if you encountering an error while launching the script, then AE will automatically open your script in "ExtendSCript" toolkit with an error at the bottom line. You can see the "DataBrowsing" panel right side for available functions., objects and so on.
    then you can get to know what is the error and the reason for this error at least.

  • Syntax error when running ActionFileToXML.jsx or trying to install xtools

    I have an action set (actually a few) that I would REALLY love to rename but the actions are calling "sub" actions within the action set which means that the action set name is hard-coded into the actions in many places.
    Originally, I tried to edit my actions with a hex editor to try and change the name and references but realised I was limited to renaming with the same number of characters unless I parsed the file first... so I gave up on that. Then I came across Xbytor's awesome ActionFileToXML script, but I get a syntax error when running both the To and From XML scripts at root.@date = Stdlib.toISODateString();
    I then figured I would go straight for the latest xtools instead but when running the install (in CS2) I get a rather long syntax error and so the install fails. The script mentioned that there is a log file that I should email to Xbytor, but I figured I would post here instead of bothering him directly so he has more of a choice about whether he wants to be bothered by me Or maybe someone else can answer if it is a stupid newbie problem.
    Thanks heaps!
    Gab
    ETA: I'm running CS2 on XP if that makes any difference. If so, I may be able to use a friend's Mac with CS3.

    Thanks for the quick (and very useful) response!
    I made the changes to the mentioned files and the scripts were able to
    progress further, but only until the next E4X syntax (node.@key=key;).
    Rather than continue to hack at your code, I figured I should downgrade to a
    previous version (as you also suggested).  I initially tried v1.5 and the
    ActionFileToXML worked perfectly but ActionFileFromXML failed with an
    illegal argument error.
    Before looking too deeply into the error, I figured I would try v1.6 and
    found that both the scripts were able to complete successfully. The
    resulting atn file has a couple of bugs in it (such as "Set current layer"
    having a knockout setting of  which causes the action to crash),
    but nothing that I can't just copy back from my original script.
    Thanks HEAPS for your assistance and for the awesome scripts in the first
    place! Extremely greatly appreciated!

  • Solaris: Syntax errors on all db2 commands run in terminal

    DB2 Express 9.5 x86 installed on Solaris 10 x86.
    Just about every DB2 command I run gets some type of syntax error.
    There has to be some additional configuration required after installing DB2.
    When I run these without the sh in front, I get a "command not found" message.
    Here are edited examples.
    I had to remove some of the disallowed content from the examples and replace with xxxx's.
    Examples:
    bash-3.00# sh db2level
    db2level: xxxxxxxx: not found
    db2level: syntax error at line 19: `(' unexpected
    bash-3.00# sh db2

    Looking into import_monitor.java.log i found that the problem is in dfact import.
    I've looked into sapdfact.log and i found:

    So as you can see it seems that there's some syntax error in dfacl.log. The wrong SQL statement referred by sapdfact.log is

    sql: CREATE TYPE 2 UNIQUE INDEX "/BI0/E0PPM_VC1~0" ON "/BI0/E0PPM_VC1"

    Am i missing something?
    Data in referred tables (infocubes) isn't really important.
    Is there a safe way to proceed?
    Thanks in advance.

    And this is the strange point: my source system is not a BI and my dataclasses .SQL files are not empty.
    Me too i would expect that the files should be empty but instead they are full of object definitions.
    For example i have APPL0.SQL that contains a list of all tables of ECC system, for example
    tab: MAMT
    sql:     CREATE TABLE "MAMT"
            ("MANDT" SAPDB6VARCHAR(000003)
            DEFAULT '000' NOT NULL,
            "MATNR" SAPDB6VARCHAR(000018)
            DEFAULT ' ' NOT NULL,
            "SPRAS" SAPDB6VARCHAR(000001)
            DEFAULT ' ' NOT NULL,
            "MEINH" SAPDB6VARCHAR(000003)
            DEFAULT ' ' NOT NULL,
            "MTXID" SAPDB6VARCHAR(000002)
            DEFAULT ' ' NOT NULL,
            "LFDNR" SAPDB6VARCHAR(000002)
            DEFAULT '00' NOT NULL,
            "MAKTM" SAPDB6VARCHAR(000040)
            DEFAULT ' ' NOT NULL)
            IN "&location&"
            INDEX IN "&locationI&"
            LONG  IN "&locationL&"
          COMPRESS YES;
          ALTER TABLE "MAMT" LOCKSIZE ROW;
    and like this for all others tables.
    What would occur if i launch an import with such .SQL files?
    (shuld i put this question to another thread or is fine for you to answer on this?)
    Thank you again.
