OIM11gR2 : Reconciliation Profile update

Hi,
I am trying to update the reconciliation profile by updating the xml file corresponding to AD by exporting it from MDS. As per the Oracle documentation i opened the Enterprise Manger and performed the following steps:
Logged into Oracle Enterprise Manager as the admin user.
On the landing page, clicked oracle.iam.console.identity.self-service.ear(V2.0)
From the Application Deployment menu at the top, selected MDS configuration
Clicked Runtime MBean Browser, and then click the Operations tab.
Exported metadata as per the following steps:
Selected the first exportMetadata operation in the list.
For toLocation, provided the path to a temporary directory, in which this file is to be exported. As this path must exist on the computer on which OIM is running, i provided the relevant path.
The name of the metadata document to be exported must be provided in the docs section. As the name of the document must be /db/PROFILE_NAME where PROFILE_NAME is exactly same as the name of the resource object (as per the Oracle documentation), i did that
Invoked the operation.
Upon doing the above mentioned steps i get a success message on the screen but the metadata document is not exported to the location specified.

Profile update should allow for change of email address

Dear sirs,
Member profile update should allow for change of email address otherwise one has to unsubscribe their old email address and re-subscribe the new one.
Please make it happen.

I worked out the answer to my own question.
1. Logged into my Apple ID
2. Editited my Apple ID email address (old) and changed it to my @me.com address (ignored the red warning about Apple ID must not use a domain owned by Apple) and pressed the blue Save Changes button anyway at the bottom of the page.
This created a new Primary Email Address with the @me.com (which needed to be verified etc.)
The Primary Email Address can now also be changed to my @icloud.com address if I wish (which also needs to be verified.
I would now like to be able to use the option to 'Make my Apple ID and Prmary email address one and the same'. So I can finally get rid of my old e-mail address as my Apple ID. It can give me the option to change it to my @icloud.com address, but when I press submit, it does not do anything. This feature does not seem to work yet. I suppose that is another question / request.

CS3 Device Profile Updates

How can I tell which is the last Device Profile Update
installed on the computer I work on?
How can I tell if the Flash Lite 3 update was installed
before the Device Profile Update #4 or not?
Was the Flash Lite 3 update done by the built in CS3 updater
automatically, or it sould have been installed manually?
My apologies if the questions sound stupid.

With all due respect, you misunderstand my question.
You're telling me to install the Update #4. If I do it,
seeing some changes in the status of the profiles could mean a
successful update--and a successful downgrade too. Just think about
it: if the #5 has already been installed and I overwrite it with
#4, it causes changes too. This is not a solution, this is blind
flying.
The question is if there is a way to tell which is the latest
update installed on this computer--prior to any actions.
I don't want to do any guesswork, don't want to investigate
any changes in the status of the profiles after an experimental
install, want to know it for sure. Is there a way or not?

The article says to download the OpenGL Profiler Update under Downloads > OpenGL at connect.apple.com. However, that download no longer exists.
Using the OpenGL Profiler Update has fixed the Second Life crash problem for me in the past. Since I've reformatted my MacBook Pro recently, and I cannot locate the update, I'm back to the problem described in the article above.
When I do attempt to use the version of OpenGL Profiler installed with Xcode, I receive this message:
"OpenGL Profiler Version Incompatibility
This version of OpenGL Profiler is known to have incompatibilities with your updated OpenGL framework. You may continue to use this application but some functionality may not work properly. Would you like to quit now or continue using OpenGL Profiler?" Quit or continue?
... and Second Life eventually crashes, along with my OS, as described in the article above.
*THE QUESTION:*
Does anyone have a copy of the OpenGL Profiler Update for OS X 10.4.11 or know where I can download it?

Mobile profile updates for Flash 8

For Flash 8 mobile profile updates, do I need to install all
six of them or just the latest one? The updates are found on this
page:

If my memory serves you need to install all of them. If the
last one included all the previous it would be very large. Each
profile includes 3 png files for the key mapping function of the
emulator.

Profile updates

My skype client on my laptop does not update the profile updates of some of my contacts.
If someone changes their profile picture or their mood message i can see the changes on the Skype on my phone, but the skype on my laptop still shows the same old one and doesn't update.
Why is this so? and what can I do to fix it?

I would start by installing the latest version of skype.

Order of User Profile update

I'm in the middle of configuring UPS and would appreciate some advise on the order of how the end user interacts with their profile and how updating of user profile and AD should work.
1. users start life from AD, only a handful of fields get added.
1a. UPS updates SharePoint profile datatabase.
2. every user needs an image, users are allowed to edit certain aspects of their profile (manager). Should this be user profile in SharePoint?
2a. SharePoint exports to AD new information ? (i.e.image)
3. Ideally, I would want outlook to pick up the images from somewhere.
Is the above order correct, Im not keen on updating AD as in step 2a. Is this needed?

Updating AD is needed if you want to push attributes from SharePoint to Active Directory (like a photo). What version of Exchange do you have?

Make offline files accessible after profile update

Hi altogether,
is there anybody out there who has a deep understanding of the Windows 7 offline files feature? I would really like to know how users are granted access to the offline cache. I found the files in C:\Windows\CSC, but this folder and its subfolders do not
have any ACL structure (just one: Local System). Where are the access permissions stored? And is it possible to adapt this if we change the profile owner?
Here is the background for my question:
We are about to perform a AD migration using the Quest Resource Updating Manager. The offline cache is consisting of system files, that you can just access either taking ownership or using scripts executed as Local System. So the RUM is not possible to grant
the updated profile access to this offline cache and the cache has to be rebuild. We do not want every user to rebuild his offline cache. The problem is mentioned here:

Still this is not a Quest only problem.
For Windows XP there exists CSCCMD.exe which is contained in the Windows Server 2003 Resource Kit Tool. These tools are not compatible with newer Windows versions (I installed, had to replace the cscdll.dll and it didn't even recognized that CSC was enabled)

You may try to reset the local offline file cache
on the problematic client computers to check how it works. A corrupted offline file cache may prevent you from accessing the cached files and folders when offline

Member Access Profile - update from table MemberAccess

Hello,
We need to do an update in all our member access profiles. As we have 710 profiles, it's very time consuming to update each of them seperately.
I was looking into the table MemberAccess profile to update the profiles. I manage to update all profiles with one query but unfortunately it seems that we still need to go into SAP BPC Admin to process each profile. If I don't process in SAP BPC Admin, I get the error in Excel: 'There is a problem in dimension file: Entity' and the current view in Entity dimension just shows ...more... instead of the correct security!
Is there another way of updating the MemberAccess profiles in 1 go, without needing to process it individually? This would save us a lot of time!

Are you assuming it didn't work because of the "Return Value = 0" result? That stored procedure isn't designed to return anything so whether it ran properly or not you wouldn't get much back (except an error message is something went very wrong).
The only way that you can know if it worked is to look at the acsEntity table and make sure it has all of the proper records. I guess you can also start up SQL Profiler before executing the stored procedure to see what the stored procedure runs and make sure that's what you want. I'm not sure how familiar you are with SQL though so that may not be helpful for you.

Reconciliation account update for parked document

Hi,
I have created a Customer parked document in FB70.
Now If I go and check the FBL5N for customer account which is the part of the parked document, the transaction is appearing.
But when I check the FBL3N for reconciliation account which is assigned for the above customer master, no transaction updated.
is it standard SAP behaviour?
is there any SAP Note on this?

The standard SAP treats parking as tempararly parking i.e tempararly storing the data for posting the transation its nothing but a template so it wont updated the financial statements so if you see the FBL3N without selecting the parked check box it wont appear. just select the check box and check the report.
For recon accounts normally the line item check box wont be selected (FS00), so the line item display is not possible for the recon accnts, check the master record too. its not suggestable to select the line item check box for the recon accounts because normally we check the reports with the subledgers only (for vendors , customers and assets) not with the gls. if we select tha line item option for recon account the data will be stored in both gl and subledger tables, because of the this the performance issues will arise.
so its not suggestable to view the gl reports for the recon accounts.

Profile update not working

The issue is that according to Portuguese Laws (and most of
the european laws), Access to data MUST be provided for the users
for correction and update.
Adobe is failing this by not allowing the update of the
"Address", specifically, the country of the profile of the user.
I've asked nicelly to Adobe, to support mails, and even to
Adobe at Portugal.
Now, correct my profile and change the "address" from
Australia (where i was at the time) to Portugal (where i am now).

of data protection in Portugal to handle the matter. Thank

And now, telling me that your "system" doesn't allow it,

Status profile update in old orders

I recently created a new status profile to suffice a business requirement . Any order created henceforth will have the status profile , BUT for the old orders there will be no status profile .
Is there any way to update status profiles in old orders via some existing standard function modue?

The program didnt work . I havent gone through the oss notes though.
Here in my client's system , the status profile functionality was never used . They had a new requirement , for this I had a to create a new status profile, which i have assigned ot the item cat . We are doing Resource related billing here . Till date all the orders created dont have any status profiles or Statuses. i want all the old orders to have the statuses .
In other words in the status tab, the object status button itself is missing( invisible) .
My requirement is for the old orders the object status button , & the statuses in side it should appear.
The table linkage is ONR00-> JSTO-> JEST->VBAP/VBAK . there are no entries in all the first three tables, and because of this the object no in the VBAP table is blank .
