OK to Rerun FAGLF101 for the Same Period?

We run FAGLF101 every month in order to account for reconcilation account and trading partner changes.  My actual situation is a bit more complicated, but let's say that I just discovered a large number of customers with incorrect recon accounts that were first used in November.  If we correct them now and rerun FAGLF101 for November, will it duplicate the entries made on the previous run or only make postings for the new customer changes?  Grateful for any advice.
P.S.  We do not have a handle on the exact customers that have changed so running for just the changed customers is not practical as we have numerous companies and it would take a huge amount of effort to identify a list for each company.

hi,
sap gurus,
good evening toall,

  • Schedule parallel activities on different resources for the same period

    Hi,
I am trying to create a PPM where I need to define parallel activities on different resources for the same time period.
    For example:
    Input prod: P1
    Output prod: O1
Now I define a dummy activity A1 to define this consumption i.e. 1 PC of P1 gives 1 PC of O1.
    Now I have got 3 resources R1, R2, R3.
    I define 3 activities A2, A3, A4 for these resources.
Now I have to arrange activities A2, A3, A4 such that they start simultaneouly after activity A1 and also end simultaneouly.
The Fixed duration for all the resources is 1 week.
My requirement is that out of these resources system should plan for demand considering the resource with minimum capacity
    i.e. kind of bottleneck resource.
I am using CTM engine for planning.
I have defined A1 as predecessor for all the 3 activities A2, A3, A4 and after completion all the activities have a dummy successor activity  S.
But this setting is not working and PPM is not getting exploded, If I use a normal linear relationship between activities it works fine but my requirement is not getting satisfied.
Can anyone please help me in this case or suggest some alternate method.
    Thanks & Regards,

    Hi,
You cannot use the old solman key as systems are on different server.
I think you have to delete the old Dev system and then generate new solman key.

  • Making system to use the latest Infotype Record for the Current Period

    Hello,
I would like to know how the system behave if there is a record modified in the middle of the Pay Period, which record would the PY schema use? Ex: in IT0009 EE has selected multiple Bank Transfer. He say 100$ Bank 1 and Rest to Bank 2. In the middle if the Pay period, the EE comes and makes changes to his Bank Transfer, as he closed the account in Bank1, he creates new Bank and transfers 100$. Now when the PY run, it think both Banks (Bank1 prev and Bank 1 current ) are valid and tries to send 100$ to each back and sends rest to Bank2. Which is not correct. This issue happens when someone changes their record in the middle of the period. So It is assumed to change the process to not to change in the middle of the period. It has to be effecting of 1st of next period.
But I want to check is there anyway we can make the system to use the latest one if it finds multiple record for the same period?
    any suggestion please.
    Thank you.
    Raj

    Hi Donnie,
This system actually delimits the previous record but since the change is happened in the middle of the period, but record are considered as active.
For Ex: The Pay Period is 01/01/2009 to 01/15/2009 and There was a record for Bank1 for that period and user comes and creates a new record on 01/05/2009 for Bank1. Now for this payperiod since its with the period both records are becoming active. So system uses both the records and deducts. Hope you get what I'm saying.
    Thanks,
    Raj

  • Double service entry sheet for the same invoice and same period

    Hi,
2 service entry sheets have been made for the same PO with the same period and the same invoice no. And hence by mistake 2 bills have been passed for the same work...
    how to avoid this.....
is there any std.setting available while creating service entry sheet.
    Plz. help
    Navin

If there is sufficient quantity in the PO, this cannot be prevented by the system.
Have the data entry person write the SE Sheet number on the physical copy of the bill so that another person entering it can see that SE Sheet is done.
    Hope this helps,
    Lakshman

    Dear experts,
awrsqrpt.sql is showing multiple executions plans for a single SQL statement. How is it possible that one SQL statement will have multiple Executions Plans within the same AWR report. If you're using bind variables and you've histograms on your columns which can be created by default in 10g due to the "SIZE AUTO" default "method_opt" parameter of DBMS_STATS.GATHER__STATS it is quite normal that you get different execution plans for the same SQL statement. Depending on the values passed when the statement is hard parsed (this feature is called "bind variable peeking" and enabled by default since 9i) an execution plan is determined and re-used for all further executions of the same "shared" SQL statement.
If now your statement ages out of the shared pool or is invalidated due to some DDL or statistics gathering activity it will be re-parsed and again the values passed in that particular moment will determine the execution plan. If you have skewed data distribution and a histogram in place that reflects that skewness you might get different execution plans depending on the actual values used.
Since this "flip-flop" behaviour can sometimes be counter-productive if you're unlucky and the values used to hard parse the statement leading to a plan that is unsuitable for the majority of values used afterwards, 11g introduced the "adaptive" cursor sharing that attempts to detect such a situation and can automatically re-evaluate the execution plan of the statement.

  • How do I keep a rented movie locally stored for the authorised period?

Okay, so just bought an Apple TV for the first time, so this is all new to me! So far, most of it makes sense, but I'm wondering about how the unit manages downloaded content.
It seems to me that you rent a movie, Apple TV starts downloading it and makes it available to play. I live in Australia, so I have 30 days to start watching it, and once I've started, I have 48hrs to finish watching it.
So, I downloaded our first movie the other night. We watched half of it before sending the kids to bed (school night) and watching the rest of it ourselves. The next day we went to start watching it again, but from about halfway through so the kids could see the end of it. All was fine, except I noticed that Apple TV was downloading it again.
This puzzled me - that is, it didn't seem to make sense - I assumed the onboard 8GB would be used to store it for 48 hours from when we started playing it? So, is there some way to achieve this? For eg, if I set Apple TV to never sleep prior to renting a movie, then rent a movie, will it keep it stored for the authorised period because it hasn't gone to sleep?
If not, is there some way to achieve this outcome? I just don't see the point of using up a data allowance by downloading the exact same thing - even if I change my settings to standard definition it's still a waste of data.
I did do a few online searches of various FAQs, but couldn't find the answer to this question, so hopefully someone can shed some light on this for me or refer me to a good source of info.
    Thanks!

    Joe Felice wrote:
Thanks Brian. I realise the OS controls memory management, but was wondering what "rules" it used to manage it and whether any of the user settings (such as sleep) would affect it?
So, if there's nothing the user can do to impact this, would it make more "sense" to rent the movie on iTunes on your Mac and then watch it on the Apple TV? Would that negate the need to re-download the movie each time you watched it? And, if so, what are the disadvantages of this approach?
Or should I just forget the whole thing, increase my data allowance, and not worry about it?
Still, it'd be nice not to have to redownload it if that was inconvenient for some reason.
Simple things like watching a movie preview or playing content from local iTunes will flush the buffered rental from ATV 2/3 - they only have 8GB of solid state storage and if you rent more than 1 HD movie (4GB or so) they will be competing for download/buffering space.
The only disadvanatges of renting in iTunes are:
    - need for itunes to be running to play
    - some titles available in HD on ATV are only in SD via iTunes!

  • F.05- Exchange  diff amnt getting posted twice in the same period

We have an issue relating to the F.05 job run in SAP. This T-code will revaluate all the forex transactions to the specified rate only once during the month and post the differential entry to ensure that all the balances are restated.
During the month of Mar 08, while we processed the F.05, we were not able to take the download in excel and hence we again processed F.05 inorder to extract the report. While we processed again F.05, the system has again posted another entry in SAP for the same amount as earlier.
I am explaning with an example as below :
    First Run : System Entry
    Dr. Exch Difference Rs. 200
    Cr. Revaluation A/c Rs.(200)
    Second Run : System Entry
    Dr. Exch Difference Rs. 200
    Cr. Revaluation A/c Rs.(200)
    Net Imapact
    Dr. Exch Difference Rs. 400
    Cr. Revaluation A/c Rs.(400)
Based on the above example, the system has processed the F.05 run twice and posted the amounts double. Let us know whether the F.05 needs to be processed only once a month (if yes, then how do we extract a report if needed later), or can we process multiple times in a month (in that case, there shouldn't be additional entries posted).

    Hi,
Usually, F.05 only run once per month or per quarter. There are two kinds of FX run,
    1) balance sheet preparation valuation, it was selected if you check the box in the posting page. System would generate the FX posting, plus write a FX difference amount to each open item. And when you run the transaction 2nd time in next month, only the difference between 1st and 2nd time would be posted. Let's say if next month has the same valuation rate as 1st time, then, it would not have postings generated.
    2) Valuation without open item flagged, system would valuate the open items all the time as new, there is no flag in the open item which has been valuated. Therefore, every time when you run the valuation and postings would be generated no matter your valuation rate has been changed or not. And usually, would reverse the postings on the 1st day of next period.
In your case, I think you are running the 2nd type since you have 2nd batch of postings generated which have the same value as the first one. Please check whether it is correct, because it would have different correction handling for each type.
If you are the 2nd type, just simply reverse one of the batches documents by F.80 is ok.

  • Different Info Packages for the same data source.

    Hi Team,
I have a question, which i asked before that but i ended up with different solution.
I want to load 02.2002 to till date into ODS. Data source is 0FI_AR_10.
My boss wants in this way .
    1) one infopackage for 02.2002 to 02.2005 with init.
    2) one infopack for 03.2005 to 07.2008 with init for the same datasource.
    3) one info pack with no selection criteira.
What will be the result ?
My guess is, Once we do init for the time period 02.2002 to 02.2005 ,
the system with note the timepreiod for the Datasource.
When i try to do Init for the second, the system will say init already exits for the data source. And it will not allow me to do init for the second selection.
Correct me if  i am wrong.
    Regards,
    -Sonti-

    Your planned InfoPackages:
    - 1) one infopackage for 02.2002 to 02.2005 with init.
    - 2) one infopack for 03.2005 to 07.2008 with init for the same datasource.
    - 3) one info pack with no selection criteira.
As the selection criteria of package 1) & 2) do not overlap, is it possible.
For package 3), you need to do it as delta update instead of initialisation.  Package 3) with no selection criteria overlaps with package 1) & 2).
Refer to the Help Documentation, which explains this quite clearly.
Link: [Maintaining InfoPackage - Tab Page: Updating|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/e3/e60138fede083de10000009b38f8cf/frameset.htm]
    >For selection criteria that do not overlap, several initialization criteria are possible for initializing the delta process when scheduling InfoPackages for data from an SAP system. This gives you the option of loading the relevant data for the delta process, step by step into the Business Information Warehouse. For example, you can load the data into BI for cost center 1000 in the first step, and the data for cost center 2000 in the second step.
    >A delta requested after several initializations, contains the super set of all the successful initial selections as a selection condition. This selection condition can then no longer be changed for the delta.
    Hope this help.

  • Email if Notification is created for the same material number

    Hi,
IS it possible to get a email Automatically when a notification is created for the same material in last ___days/weeks.
    Thanks
    SM

Yes.  Use the early warning system to send an eamil when ever the number of notifications exceeds a certain number in a given period time for a given group of objects.
You must have the info structures for QM in LIS activated for this to work.

  • Mix AVG and Total for the same column in ALV grid

    Hi,
We are using CL_GUI_ALV_GRID=>SET_TABLE_FOR_FIRST_DISPLAY, and I'd like to know if the following situation is possible.
Let's say we have a column which contains a number of hours, and we set it up to subtotal by period, but as an average rather than a total (DO_SUM = "C"). This is not a problem so far.
The problem is that we'd like for the "Grand Total" at the bottom of the ALV grid to total all of the subtotal averages, instead of calculating an average.
    Ex:
    Period            Hours
    2010/01           6.0
    2010/02           7.0
    2010/03           2.0
                    5.0  (This is an average... 6.0 + 7.0 + 2.0 / 3)
    2011/01          12.0
    2011/02           5.0
    2011/03           4.0
                    7.0  (This is an average... 12.0 + 5.0 + 4.0 / 3)
                12.0 (We want this to be a total of 5.0 + 7.0)
So we want the "grand total" line to be 12.0 which is the sum, but it currently comes out as an average.
Therefore we're looking to average at the sub total level, but we want a total of the subtotal levels at the grand total level for the same column.
    Thanks,
    Denis

Refer to the suggestion given by Naimesh here Can we modify a sub-total in ALV making use of function GET_GLOBALS_FROM_SLVC_FULLSCR and the method GET_SUBTOTALS. You can see the parameter ep_collect01 refered in case of subtotals. Can you please check ep_collect00 for grand total in your case.
As said about EP_COLLECT00,here goes a classic example Modify grand total in ALV GRID

  • PT_QTA00 is generating repetative records for the same quota type

PT_QTA00 is generating repetative records for the same quota type and one more thing i have already maintained 10 days of quota in 2006 and when i run for the same employee its creating one more record with 10 days again how can we restrict it in configuration

As said earlier, you want to setup Time Constraints for It2006 which is  in table: V_T582A
You should set the Time Constraint to 2.
HR master data uses the following three time constraints:
    Time Constraint 1
For the entire time that the employee works at the enterprise, exactly one valid infotype record must exist. The validity periods of the individual records must not overlap. If a new record is created, the system automatically uses the start date of the new record as the delimitation date of the old record. Gaps are only allowed between the employeeu2019s entry date and the start date of the first record.
Time constraint 1 must be used for all of the infotypes containing information that must be available at all times. This is particularly true of personal and organizational assignment data.
If a record is delimited because of time constraint 1, the system displays an appropriate message.
    Time Constraint 2
No more than one valid record can exist at any one time. Records with constraint 2 must not overlap. Their existence is not obligatory. If a new record is created, the system automatically delimits the previous record, if one exists.
If a record is delimited because of time constraint 2, the system displays an appropriate message.
    Time Constraint 3
Any number of valid records can exist at any one time. The individual records do not conflict with each other.

    last_name: =iif(Fields! staff_role.Value="Lead Atty" or Fields! staff_role.Value="BK Mgr" or Fields! staff_role.Value="Partner" ,Fields! last_name.Value,nothing)
    first_name: =iif(Fields! staff_role.Value="Lead Atty" or Fields! staff_role.Value="BK Mgr" or Fields! staff_role.Value="Partner" ,Fields! first_name.Value,nothing)
Besides, if we don’t want see the blank row in the tablix, we can add a filter as below in the tablix:
    Expression:=iif(Fields! staff_role.Value="Lead Atty" or Fields! staff_role.Value="BK Mgr" or Fields! staff_role.Value="Partner" ,1,0)
    Operator:=
    Value:=1
If there are any misunderstanding, please elaborate the issue for further investigation.
    Thanks,

  • Multiple MM schedule lines for the same date

    Hello All Gurus,
I am facing a problem where the MM schedule lines are divided into various quantites for the same date. For example on 02/11/2010 the total quantity is 120, it is appearing in the below form in ME38:
    02/11/2010 - 40
    02/11/2010 - 40
    02/11/2010 - 40
Although this is not an error, but my client is not happy with this. Can someone tell me why I am getting this error? Is it because of the rounding value that we maintain in MRP 1 view of material master record? Or is there any other setting that I am missing?
Please let me  know. I would be very much thankful to you.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Umakanth

    Hi,
Before changing the setup, note that sometimes it is beneficial to split one demand into multiple delivery schedules. Especially if the demand is bigger than equipment type (container/truck etc.). If you want to manage inbound transportation for such delivery schedules, it is much simpler to do this when each delivery schedule is not bigger than one equipment.

  • How to generate different report view in teststand for the same execution?

My requirment is to have two different view for the same report that gets generated during one execution using in TestStand OI(CVI)? One view would be summary view (displays only test step types, excluding action step types) and the other view is detail view that displays all the steps that are recorded. Data for all the steps needs to get recorded in database. Any suggestions are helpful!!

    Hello.
I think you would have to create two separate reports, one as summary report and one as a 'full' report  The viewers are just 'viewers' and simply display whatever you set to them.
I had display a text report that was basically a summary report ( failures only ) and then display an HTML report that contained all steps were set to be recorded.  This required quite a bit of modifications on both the process model and the operator interface side.  The operator interface (in LabVIEW ) had to contain 2 separate UIReportView controls.
Let me know if that is your desired direction and I could point you to some more ideas.
    Thanks,
    PH
