On how to avoid sending  RR packet

Could anybody do me a favor? Right now ,I'm doing some research on the JMF platform, and the protocol requires one-way(uni-directional) channels only. So how to prevent the receiver from sending RR packets , and should I change(extend) RtpManager class ?

I'm not sure what to tell you. The only way I can see you might get confused between the messages in the list is if you don't have a contact name associated with a phone number. If that's the case, you/your girlfriend should make sure to update the Contacts database (you can do so from a message by clicking Add Contact).
Once that's done, the name of each person appears both in the message list, and above the message thread. There's not a lot of room in that top space in the thread, so if it's a long name, it will be truncated (13 characters, I think, is about the limit). So if you have one frequently-texted friend called John Appleseed and one called John Appleseeger, that would cause problems. But you can always turn the phone on its side to switch orientation and double-check the name.
You might check the app store for txt apps, but I believe all of them use an "alternate" SMS system (ie, not the one built into your phone) so may charge for txts. However, here's one that displays contact photos and then uses the built-in SMS to write a message (I haven't tried it):

    Hi Amareshwar,
    Check my replies in this link.
    just like java code to add a tag, you can use to remove a tag, before it goes to http adapter.

  • How to send a packet to multiple recipients?

    I'm writing a small chat program in java. What I have so far for the server, is this:
    import java.io.*;
    public class datagramServer {
         public static void main(String[] args) throws IOException {
              new datagramServerThread().start();
    }datagramServerThread class:
    import java.net.*;
    import java.util.*;
    import java.io.*;
    public class datagramServerThread extends Thread {
        protected DatagramSocket socket = null;
        boolean listening = true;
        datagramProtocol DGP = new datagramProtocol();
        public datagramServerThread() throws IOException {
         this("datagramServerThread");
        public datagramServerThread(String name) throws IOException {
            super(name);
            socket = new DatagramSocket(4445);
        public void run() {
            while (listening) {
                try {
                    byte[] buf = new byte[256];
                    DatagramPacket packet = new DatagramPacket(buf, buf.length);
                    socket.receive(packet);
                    String processSendBack = new String(packet.getData());
                    String sendBack = DGP.processInput(processSendBack);
                    buf = sendBack.getBytes();
                    InetAddress address = packet.getAddress();
                    int port = packet.getPort();
                    packet = new DatagramPacket(buf, buf.length, address, port);
                    socket.send(packet);
                catch (IOException e) {
                    e.printStackTrace();
            socket.close();
    }And the datagramProtocol class:
    import java.io.*;
    import java.net.*;
    public class datagramProtocol {
         String output;
         public String processInput(String toProcess) {
              output = toProcess;
              return output;
    }Pretty simple, and it works great, if you just want to chat with yourself... ;)
    The client is really simple, just sends and receives, nothing fancy.
    What I want to know, is how would I send anything any client sends, to every other connected client?
    btw, I was wondering if it's good coding practice to put everything into a seperate class like that. I probably could've put everything into one, but it's a little neater in seperate files.
    Thanks,
    Alex

    Can a publish/subscribe sort of model be used in it's
    place? Or how about just a listener model rather
    than pushing each request? This way the clients just
    register themselves and listeners and you merely
    propogate an event. There would be no need to keep
    track of each IP, etc.
    Just thinking out loud here... :)Well, as I understand, on a publish/subscriber model, the publisher has to keep some sort of reference to the listener in order to send the events when they happen.
    Keeping the sockets to the clients seems to me as good as a reference can be on a TCP/IP connection short of using RMI to do that, but if the client/server must be decoupled from the language what I sugested is a publish/subscriber model. The clients are the subscribers, they ad themselves as such upon connecting to the server, the server wich is the publisher store their reference as subscribers by keeping the socket where they agreed upon communicating.
    When the publisher has a new message to be published it walks the list of references giving them the event, wich is the message posted.
    Sure it could be done with events just notifying the arrival of new messages but it would just complicate the model beyond the need. For the client would have to wait for the event and them send a request asking for the actual message, in order to do such a system he would have to create a simple protocol of comunication between the client and the server.
    May the code be with you.

    how do i create a contact list in adobe send from my email contact list and how do avoid typing individual email adresses

    Hi [email protected],
    The e-mail addresses will not be memorized in Adobe send but will be saved in sent items.
    You can use Adobe send outlook plugin to access your email contact list and send.
    You can download it here:Send Large Files Online - Share, Control, Track & Manage | Adobe Send

  • How to send RTP packet through SIP Dialog

    Hello there !
    I work on a Java softphone which use JMF and Jain-SIP. I know JMF is "old" but I think it would be simple to capture and transmit RTP audio. So, my SIP dialog is working, I can send text messages but now, I would like to send RTP with this SIP session. I know I have to send SDP messages for codec convenience but then, what is the MediaLocator for RTP packet ? Only SIP User Agent IP or something else ?
    I also accept all ressources that can help me achieve my work :)

    I have no idea how SIP works, but, RTP packets go to an IP:PORT... theoretically, in the SIP phonecall setup, I'd imagine you'd have to be given the address to send RTP packets to the remote phone. Or perhaps the port is already well-defined by the SIP standard.
    Either way, you should have a way of knowing / finding out which PORT to send to for your SIP call, either from the call setup or the SIP standard itself.

  • How can I avoid sending PS fonts to my Postscript printer

    I would like to avoid sending the font information for built-in fonts like Times-Roman to my printer. Partly this saves slightly on printing time (OK maybe that is insignificant) and partly because I want to use the printer's good ideas on how to render the font.
    When I print from TextEdit or MS Word, the file that is spooled in var/spool/cups appears to be a PDF file, and I guess that it contains the font information (it certainly seems to contain more coded information than I would expect just from the text I printed).
    When I print the file, I have looked using tcpdump, and I can see that the Postscript file that is actually sent to the printer contains the font data. How can I avoid this so that the printer will use its built-in font?
    Regards,
    Beige G3 Mac OS X (10.3.5)

    I'm not a real font expert, but...
    if the PPD lists the font as being in the printer, I don't think OS X will download it. I think you should look at the PPD and see if the font is named exactly like the one you're using.
    Currently-ADDed printers have a PPD in /etc/cups/ppd.

  • How to send a packet through a specific Inferface ?

    Hello!
    I have 3 interfaces in my pc : LAN / WLAN / 3G
    On LAN I have a global IP.
    On WLAN and 3G I'm behind NAT.
    I'm coding a program (client+srv) >
    I watch a video streaming on LAN then I switch to WLAN or 3G and I want it to happen seamless. So basecly seamless vertical handover is my goal.
    Because I'm behind a NAT (3G,WLAN) First I have to send a packet to the server (connection initialization). When the server sends the stream to me it actually sends it to the NAT and the NAT will fwd it to me.
    The NAT send the packets back to me only if>
    1. the server sends from the same port which it received the request form the NAT
    2. It have to send to the same NAT (ip+port) address where the request came from
    3. NAT will send then the packet back to my PC to the same port where I sent my request from.
    Here comes my big problem!
    I have a socket bound to a IP1 and port (e.g. WLAN) if I want to send a packet to an destination IPx for which the route table has the LAN interface as default gateway (IP2), then it will send my packet trough the LAN (IP2) but the source IP will be IP1 in the packet.
    Basecly I have a WLAN package on my LAN.
    This is bad for me in 2 ways.
    1. there won't be a NAT binding for my WLAN
    2. the packet won't even make it to the server because the very first router will throw it away since it's source IP is not a LAN IP
    SO,
    is there a way in Java, to send a packet thorugh a specific interface???
    Thx for the kind help!
    r0hamkuka

    I used NetworkInterface.getNetworkInterfaces() to get all avaliable interfaces. After that I used this: interfaceSocket = new DatagramSocket(6000, interfaceIp); for all my interfaces with different interfaceIp of course
    The I tried to send a packet to 153.66.200.155 for example (LAN address) through my WLAN interface (ip for example: 192.168.1.101) using WLAN's interfaceSocket.send()
    But the packet goes out on my LAN interface (ip 153.66.200.166) while the src ip is still 192.168.1.101 in the packet. That is why I sad WLAN packet on LAN interface.
    I guess the reason is still the routing table. Because routing table tells which IF to use for a destination IP. Of course for dest 153.66.x.x routing table contains 153.66.200.166 as the gateway and not 192.168.1.101. So Win uses this the LAN IF to send the packet.

  • How to avoid creation of _(file.*), coping from tiger to pc?

    how to avoid the creation of this file for ever on a pc environment??
    I explain: as i copy any image file, it goes to a spooler directory and that begins instantly to process the file to an OPI server, separating CMYK channels, converting it to high and low resolution...
    but as this _(file) is created (same name and extension, but 0Kb and with this _ underscore in the beggining of it name), it begins to process it, and as it really does not exists as an image itself, it crashes the OPI server, forcing us to restart it...
    and then, you can imagine the mess, because we're a newspaper, with more than 100 machines logged in two cities simultaneously...
    thanks for those who replied last topic I posted about some softwares to delete it! it really worked!!
    but now, can anyone have a clue how to DON'T create this file?
    thanks in advance!

    I believe that command is supposed to stop the creation .DS_Store files on servers. Also, I think the plist file gets written to the user ~/Library/Pref, it probably ought to exist both there and in the /Library/Pref folder to really work.
    I didn't think the Save for Web option would work for your purposes. I don't believe anything will work except to strip the resource fork off the files before you send them. There is an Applescript that will do it, using a UNIX command in the script. You select a folder, run the Applescript, and it strips the resource fork off all files in the folder and creates a sub-folder called Stripped with resourceless copies of the files in the original:
    -- Strip resource fork and metadata in Tiger for one file.
    -- If a folder is selected creates an unresourced subfolder of the selected folder
    tell application "Finder"
         try
              set aFile to the selection as alias
              set aFolder to the container of aFile
         on error
              display dialog "Select a file"
              return
         end try
         set aFile to the quoted form of POSIX path of aFile
         do shell script "rsync -a " & aFile & " " & aFile & "Stripped; mv " & aFile & "Stripped " & aFile
         update aFolder
    end tell
    The "do shell script" line must be all a single line in Script Editor. It might wrap funny in the browser. Anyway, copy it, paste into Script Editor, hit compile, and save it as an application. I've only fooled with it a little tiny bit, so I'm not sure whether the rsync process would have any strange effects on complex Photoshop and EPS files or not.
    As far as I know the only way to send Mac files without resource forks to a server is to strip them from the files.

  • How can i send multiple films from iMovie06HD to iDVD? ( iDVD gave me ****)

    After 2 weeks of jerky videos, unexpected shutdowns, multiplex and buring errors i yesterday finally had something. Than i noticed, that the chapters didn't work. Allright, i thought, those 5-min chapter-marks are a mess anyway. I got myself iMovie06HD to finally set the markers myself.
    My Problem: I have got four films to burn on that dvd. Each of which is about half an hour and i want them to be on that dvd as four single films with own chapter menues.
    How can i send multiple films to iDVD from iMovie06HD? All i found was "only send selected clips" which i did but then my four single films arrive at iDVD as ONE whole film, with chapters yes - but there is no way to create a menu with four single films. I tried all i could imagine. I tried to solve the problem by creating four iMovie projects which will also create four corresponding iDVD projects. I tried to export the movies in multiple formats but then the chapter markers seem to be gone.
    I have to admit i'm desperate. I hope i made my problem clear to you and somebody knows a solution. Thank you! Cheers, Matthias

    Just drag and drop each iMovie project on to the iDVD menu - being careful to avoid any of the drop zones.

  • How can I send a large video file from my iPhone 4?

    How can I send (by text) a (fairly) large video file from my iPhone 4 without it getting compressed first?
    If that's not possible is there a way to uncompress the video file one it is received onto the receiving iPhone?
    Or is there a way to sync or transfer a video file from iPhone to iPhone?

    ExFAT would be the best file system format, as it will handle files greater than 4GB.
    If exFAT is not available, go for FAT32.
    Just FAT is too limiting, so avoid that

  • How to avoid duplicate posting of noted items for advance payment requests?

    How to avoid duplicate posting of noted items for advace payments request?

    Puttasiddappa,
    In the PS module, we allow the deletion of a component pruchase requisition allthough a purchase order exists. The system will send message CN707 "<i>A purchase order already exists for purchase requisition &</i>" as an Iinformation message by design to allow flexible project management.
    If you, however, desire the message CN707 to be of type E you have to
    modify the standard coding. Doing so, using SE91, you can invoke the
    where-used-list of message 707 in message class CN, and to change the
      i707(cn)
    to
      e707(cn)
    where desired.
    Also, user exit CNEX0039 provides the possibility to reject the
    deletion of a component according to customers needs e. g. you may
    check here whether a purchase order exists and reject the deletion.
    Hope this helps!

  • How to avoid output file and error lines when condition does not match

    Hi Experts
    A customer want to send purchase order files to several vendors and each vendor has their own requirement to content and file format. I have prepared scenarios for each vendor and a template is (conditionally) called when CardCode matches. It works fine, - PO file is generated when CardCode matches, but error lines are written to SAP B1 Control Center each time CardCode does not match the one defined in a scenario (100 or more times per day). Problem is that these error lines does not get automatic deleted. Conditional processing are made in this way:
    Result Message in SAP B1 Control Center when CardCode does not match:
    I tried to avoid an error line in SAP B1 Control Center when CardCode does not match in this way:
    Then no error lines are written to SAP B1 Control Center, but an output file is generated each time (order file when CardCode matches and an empty file when CardCode does not match).
    Any suggestions on how to avoid both errors types (error lines in SAP B1 Control Center and empty output files)?
    Or - can lines in SAP B1 Control Center be automatic deleted?
    Regards
    Steen

    Hi Steen,
    using <b1im_skip> should be the right approach, if you're working with B1 OUTBOUND.
    Following extract form the B1i help describes the usage to skip the outbound processing:
    1.1 Skipping Outbound Processing
    If you do not want to hand over the message to the receiver system, the scenario step can create a special tag that indicates to generic processing in the integration framework to skip the message processing.
    Add the following to the final transformation atom (atom0):
    <b1im_skip xmlns= ”” info=”my info” msglog=”true” msgout="yes">
    If the integration framework skips the message, it puts the message log information to the Filtered section, if the message log is switched on. The result message contains the Message skipped by vBIU logic information.
    info
    To display an individual message, define it using the info attribute.
    msglog
    If you want to avoid an entry in the message log, introduce the msglog attribute and set it to false.
    msgout
    To display the skip information in the Success section of the message log, use the msgout attribute and set it to yes.
    In case you don't want any MsgLogEntry in case of a skipped message, please enter the following in final atom0:
    <xsl:template name="transform">
    <xsl:attribute name="pltype">xml</xsl:attribute>
    <xsl:choose>
    <xsl:when test="$msg/BOM/BO/Documents/row/CardCode=&apos;C20000&apos;">
    <xsl:call-template name="transform2"/>
    </xsl:when>
    <xsl:otherwise>
    <b1im_skip info="skipped" msglog="false"/>
    </xsl:otherwise>
    </xsl:choose>
    </xsl:template>
