On my home screen i have a speaker symbol and the volume wont stay on

I cannot play music on my ipod because as soon as i turn the volume up the slider goes all the way back down. Also on the home page there is a big symbol of a speaker

Reset your iPhone. Hold the home and on/off buttons together for about 10 seconds till the Apple logo appears.

Where are those missing quick lauch app icons now? The apps are still installed and can be searched/accessed through the finder, but they no longer have a user friendly access. Oh and Meg offered the right answer. Put your Apps in Folders, which will create extra space for the apps which have disappeared.

CLV, I hope you are doing well and welcome to the HP forums;
What you are experiecing happends, most of the time due to your cookies (information that the browser saves to use later when you access the site again) have been erase during that period.
So the computer does not have recollection of the information you can select not to erase that particular one how to this varies form browser to browser A quick Google serch will help you with that.

Plug it into iTunes. If that does not work hold the power and home button untill the screen turns off then let go of the power button but KEEP holding the home button... this should bypass the connect to iTunes screen. Hope it helps.

here is an interesting thing: take the iphone and set lock screen to never. Now make an email with siri--be sure to activate her with call button. get to the body and get some text in there. then just stop talking. LOCK SCREEN APPEARS!!!!!! and of course you draft is gone.
There does seem to be a work around for some--maybe all these issues. Don't use the call button--use the buttons on the phone.
Siri seems to behave properly with scenerio above---sans call button. She does not go to lock.

IPhone 6 - reverts to home screen in seconds of trying to access the net

I have a new Iphone 6S
When i get start on the net using safari I have a few apps that pop up.
But invariable even before i hit the app, the phone reverts to the home screen.
If i manage to hit the app, it tries to get in for a few secs and then reverts to home page

Can you reset the phone
