On my new computer my Bookmarks list no longer highlights the page I am viewing online, soI can no longer see exactly which site I am viewing.
On my new computer the Bookmarks list no longer 'highlights' the website that I have clicked on and am viewing online. Therefore, I can no longer see exactly which site (location/name) I am viewing because I have quite a number of bookmarks. It wastes time to go to several bookmarked sites in search of the site I am currently visiting.
Bottom line: I want the Bookmarks list to highlight the site I am currently visiting as it did on my previous computers (all Dell). Is there a setting to make this happen?

It actually does highlight but in colour which is barely distinguishable so it appears that no highlighting is on.

I purchased Lightroom 5 and Elements 12 and installed them on a computer. I now have a new computer, and wish to install them on the new one. I have a new computer running os10.9. my old computer ran cs5.5(upgrade version). I am trying to get CS5.5onto my new computer. when i load cs5.5 towards the end of the install it asks for the cs5.5 serial number. i put that in and everything is accepted but then it asks for a serial number for a full version of a product which men is design premium cs3 but it doesn't give me that product as a choice from the drop down menu. it only gives me adobe master collection cs3. why when i have purchased all these different upgrades can i now not use them and how can i sort this out. i need cs5.5 on my new computer.

The iphone is not a storage/backup device. The sync is oen way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases. File>Devices>Transfer Purhases
Copy everything from your backup copy of your old computer to your new one. -

If i have Time Machine backed up on an external hard drive, do i just plug the drive into another macbook pro and all my stuff is in the new computer? Also, does it matter if the new computer is running Lion when the backed up info came from Snow Leopard 10.6.8?
No and Yes
Don't use TM for this purpose, clone your drive to an external, plug the external into another MBP and reboot from it. Please note that booting a machine that came with Lion may not be possible from a drive with Snow Leopard. -

I imported files from an external hard drive to Itunes on a new computer. they imported & play fine, but the ratings & playlists are gone & i am unable to update any info. I found a file name playlist on old drive & imported now most files are missing! Help!
Can you locate the iTunes Library.itl file on the old drive? Ideally you would have simply copied over the entire iTunes folder structure from <User's Music> on the old computer into <User's Music> on the new one to transfer the library will all playlists, ratings, play counts etc. intact.

You only need to use the serial number during installation.
Have you, at least seemingly, been able to install, and then you are unable to start up?
If that is the case, you could try to reinstall using the full three step way:
Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool, and reinstall.

Recently I have switched out computers and had copied/ transferred my I ITunes library to the new computer and encountered problem.
