One Saleorder with '0' qty- No of Invoices
Hi Gurus,
Our Business Scenario like this:
we want to create a sales order with '0' qty, and against that sales order i want to create no of invoices(VF01).
intiallly i want i want create a sales order without giving any qty, with that that sales order everymonth i want to create an invoice with some qty.
So how can i configure this scebarion in SD.
there is no delivery in our scenario, it is service material.

Hi,
You cannot create any order/billing transaction without quantity.
But you can put your scenario by putting default quantity as 1 and you can allow to change the pricing condition at billing level.

There is Quantity column in BEx query and I have a Calculated Key Figure on Quantity to have only POSITIVE values (> 0). Now the requirement is to have another report which are excluded from first (main) query because of NEGATIVE values (< 0). Basically, the first report will have only POSITIVE Quantities and we should drive from there to another report which will have NEGATIVE Quantities.
Could you please tell the steps to accomplish it with RRI, PLEASE ?

Why don't you create a calculated KF just for the quantity.
Then, on the first report you make a condition (quantity > 0). for that CKF.
In the second report you do the same but for negative.

Asset Creation in PR and PO and MIGO as a single Line item with "N" qty

In Purchase requestion ME51N
Now we are creating "n" number of assets ( All are same item but "s.no" will vary) with "n" number of line item.
Instead of this I have to enhance to create only one line item( For same item) with "n" quantity.
for the ASSET account Assignment we have to create Asset(Temp no) for the each item/quantity(if the same item).
as well as if they are going to create a PO with ref to PR they have to see all the "n" number of asset no.
In MIGO creation for each asset we have to assign S.No and Asset Tag.
How enhance the functionality in PR,PO and MIGO as well as in Invoice.
Is it any User Exit/BADI is available for PR/POand MIGO to show all the "n" number of assets for a single line item.
Kindly help me to give details to proceed further.

What i understand from your question is, you want to create a single line item in PR and PO. But the qty would be > 1.
Each single qty would have its own asset number in account asssignment tab of item details of PR & PO.
This is what you are expecting...Right???????????????
Then this is possible with certain limitations.
While creating PR, enter only one item with more qty.
In item details section, in account assignment tab, on top left corner, there will be a button called Multiple account assignments.
Click on it, then it looks like a table, where you can enter more than one line. (each line will have its own asset no)
And choose option Distribute on qty basis for field Distribution.
So that you can enter 1 qty for each line. ( Ex: if you created one line item in the item level with 10 qty, you need to maintain 10 line here, each qith 1 qty and diff asset no).
The only limitation to this is, the GRN would be treated as non valueted. So when you make GRN there wwould not be any accounting doc. ( means no use of GR/IR clearing account as like normal for POs)
when you prepare MIRO, all the assets will be capitalised and vendor credited.
But in case if you receive partial invoice, then you have choose manually in MIRO. which asset is ot be capitalised.
After entering the PO number in MIRO, there will be one line will be appeared with full qty. in the same line, move till the end of line, there you will have one button called Account assignments.
Choose and go there, here you can choose which individual asset line to be considired.
This will resolve your issue.

Different DI API Versions handles different XML versions.
see ocompany documentation or you can use the following to reach version 2.

You can define in the xml file the version. Even if you have an older version it can work also.

Correct back order qty on AR Invoice

Client wants BO qty to print on invoice. Here's the problem/bug/my mistake.
Thereu2019s a field called u2018QtyToShipu2019, which is really the quantity left to ship, on every item row of an A/R doc in Business One.
Say we create a sales order for a quantity of 12 of some item. When the SO is created, the current document quantity and the QtyToShip are equal.
Hereu2019s the issue.
Say we copy our SO to a delivery note, revising the quantity to 5 because thatu2019s all we think we have on hand. The QtyToShip on the DN is set to 7. It is also automatically revised on the SO to 7. We donu2019t invoice the DN yet.
Thereafter somebody finds 7 more of the item and chooses to ship and invoice in one step. He copies the SO to an Invoice and adds the doc. The SO and the Invoice both show QtyToShip as 0. The DN above stays the same.
Now we still have to invoice the DN for 5. When it is copied to an Invoice, it drags its last known QtyToShip of 7 along with it. This second invoice shows 5 invoiced and 7 left to ship, but it should be 0 left to ship based on the original order qty.
I know I can painstakingly work my way back through all the docs to the original SO and do the math and compute the correct BO qty. But I hope I'm just picking the wrong field from inv1 for my invoice report.You'd think it would work.
But in my example, when the DN is copied to invoice, the invoice row shows the following:
Quantity = 5
Ordered Qty = 12
Qty to Ship = 7
Open Qty = 5 -
Posting date in J1IEX with option R07 - Internal Excise Invoice

I have one requirement with respect to J1IEX transaction -> Post -> R07 - Internal Excise Invoice.
In J1IEX transaction, there is a field called "Posting Date" available in Header as editable under the tab "Excise Invoice", results user can change the date based on open financial period (Period open and close has been done through OB52).
I want put validiation in the field "Posting date" by either make the field as Display or prevent entry of pastdate eventhough the period is in open.
My question is that Is there any screen settings are available to make the field as display? If so and make the field as display, what would be the impact? Is there any otherway (user exit, badi ...) to control this?

As we create one invoice(consolidated invoice) for multiple orders where condition is header data should be same for all the orders.In the same way can we create one order with reference to multiple contracts?

Why i am asking because in SAP we are creating contracts but the release order we are getting it uploaded from other software.I am in a service industry project where we do DP91(resource related billing) for all the contract.But in dp91 we can give only one contract at a time.
But we want to create order where multiple contract can be used .
And where in order we can see the contract number?
In the table it is visible as ref doc but not in the order.

I solved the problem
Actually the oRootElement.toString was returning me only the string and not the
XML formatted String eg:

So the very first tag was missing <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> when i used element.toString();
But now i used StreamResult and Transformer
which gives me the same XMl format as i want and it works fine with both
JRE1.4 and JRE1.5

If you registrate one Apple ID for each iPhone/iPad, you'll get 5GB on iCloud for each Apple ID, right? I have two iPhones and one iPad with the same Apple ID, why can't I get 5 GB fo each of them?
Actually, everyone missed one point, when a device is priced, the cost of icloud storage space for that device is also included in it that is why they are able to give you 5gb each for each user ID, in nutshell there is nothing free coming with apple device purchase, it is paid for. What they are trying by giving only 5gb per user ID irrespective of the number of devices used is pure broadlight looting, they take money from you when you buy each device and give you nothing, This is a case of goods and services bought but not fully deliverd ie apple can be suied for discreminatory treatment towards it's users. I wonder why no one tried this yet in America where everyone sue everyone for petty things..... there is no one to take up this issue? . if tim got any love for the guys who shell out money for the devices his company makes, he should be implimenting this as priority before someone wake up from sleep and sue him.

In J1IA101 enter the first excise invoice in the releavnt field and hit enter and once this excise invoice is updated in the tab,excise invoice summary enter the next excise invoice in the same field as before and hit enter.In this manner you can enter as long as the sold to party and Export type are the same. -
I accidentally set up two accounts. One account with my old e-mail address which I've been using for years and has all of my purchases on it. Now I have a new account with my current e-mail address. How do I disable this new account? I need to disable the new e-mail address account so that I can add it as an additional e-mail to my old account. This is complex. Until today we had one iMac with two user accounts - one for me and the other for my wife. We sync'd our calendars and contacts between our two user accounts using my iCloud account, thereby keeping our schedules coordinated and our contacts information always the same between us. Also, as I had an iPhone, I sync'd my phone with my iCloud account, thereby keeping the contacts and calendars in the two user accounts on the iMac AND my iPhone sync'd. (I also sync'd other things, like Notes and Mail and Safari settings, between my iPhone and my user account on the iMac, but my wife did not want to be burdened with all my emails showing up in her email account and I wasn't interested in hers, etc., so we didn't sync anything between us other than calendars and contacts.)
We've finally bought my wife an iPhone and set up an iCloud account for her. And of course she now wants to sync several items from HER account on our iMac to HER iPhone, but I don't want them, just as she doesn't want all of my other stuff. But we still want our mutual calendars and contacts to sync to HER new iPhone, just like they already do to mine. But I can't figure out how to CHANGE her iMac user account from using MY iCloud account on the iMac to using HER new iCloud account, and then having HER iCloud account speak to MY iCloud account but share JUST our calendars and contacts.
Originally I tried a workaround by simply having her iPhone log into my iCloud account. That works great for the calendars and the contacts. But...she can't sync anything else from her iMac account to her new iPhone because she's presently "forced" to use my iCloud account. And neither of us want to sync our other things to each other's iMac accounts or iPhones. Also as we're both using my iCloud account, in things like the Find My iPhone app, the Cloud is seeking two phones labeled with my name and none with her's. So we definitely don't want this as the set-up and communications network between our devices.
We want to set up our users on the iMac to sync to our SEPARATE AND DIFFERENT iCloud accounts and then have those iCloud accounts sync calendars and contacts (ONLY) between themselves, and then push that data to our separate iPhones (or the other way, from either of our iPhones to the individual accounts on our iMac and the other person's iPhone). Does this description make sense to you? I've diagramed it nicely using Keynote, but even thiough I can draw it, I can't figure out how to set up and configure all the devices to make it work. I had the same problem, and decided to look into it last night.
First of all, the solution I would like to have is for Apple to allow for selection of iCloud accounts per application, i.e. Contacts to one, Photo Stream to another. I believe this would be the most straight forward solution for the problem we are facing.
Since this is not an option I came up with a workaround. I was most interested in solving this for Contacts, so this is what I tested for. Now I have all 3 devices with the same contacts.
1) Turn off iCloud for Contacts on all devices. On the device that has the Contacts list that you would like to propagate to all others select to keep the contacts, and on the others select not to keep them.
Note that the current backups still exist on iCloud, so in case something goes wrong you can still turn the iCloud for Contacts back on to get your current Contacts back.
2) In iTunes, sync All Contacts with the phones, starting with the one with the Contacts content you chose to keep.
From this point on, the 3 devices should sync contacts with each other.
This, of course, will stop your iCloud backups of Contacts, but I don't think this is really needed. You are already storing copies of your Conacts on 3 devices, which for good parts of the day are likely not all co-located. You also potentially have Time Machine backups turned on, which would mean there is a 4th copy there as well. For the case of Contacts iCloud only complicates matter ... that is until Apple implements the solution I first wrote about.
