Only display BOM expand field in MIGO

Dear Expert,
I want to only display BOM component in MIGO so that people in the warehouse cannot simply change the BOM component when they received the subcon item.
How to do this restriction?
can we do this based on user authorization? means this setting only for selected user.
please advice...

There are teo optios where I THINK we can address your problem....
1)OMJX---fied status ....just check whether GOITEM_ERFMG can be made to be displayed only
2) Try SHD0.....
                              Give a new transaction variant to MIGO,maintain proper parameters i.e field to be displayed only.
                              I tried once doing so ......but was not able to do it.
                              I think so on screen 200,there is a field for quantity

First you have to add new tab for MIGO item level and then ask ABAP er to bring the material type from the material master into this tab at line level.
For creating the additional tab for MIGO at itemlevel you have to use BADI MB_MIGO_BADI
With the Business Add-In (BAdI) MB_MIGO_BADI, you can extend the interface of the goods movements transaction ( MIGO) with additional tabstrip controls for the detailed information (detail tabstrips) and header information (header tabstrips). It is possible for an external application
to display an additional detail tabstrip with own subscreen (max. 10 lines) in MIGO
to display an additional header tabstrip with own subscreen (max. 3 lines) in MIGO
The program name, screen number and tab page text can be determined dynamically. Different screens can therefore be controlled according to the mode (for example, change mode, display mode, goods receipt, goods issue).

1080i footage played in Viewer only displays field 1

I'm using an iMac without an external monitor. I have 1080i footage. I can jog forward a field at a time and see both fields individually in the viewer. But when played real time, my iMac only displays field 1. Same thing if I play it back full screen.
I know I wouldn't have this problem if I had an external monitor. But is there a setting somewhere so the iMac will display both fields during playback?
It's a 2011 iMac. 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5.

Thanks Tom. Yes, with that setting both fields are displayed, but only when the sequence is paused. You'll see both fields when paused, but only see field 1 when playing.
You can forward a field at a time with Option and left or right arrow. In Time Display, turn on "show subframes" in the Time Code display. Field 1 is 00 subframes. Field 2 is 40 subframes.
Strangely, the Event Browser Display works differently. In that window I can see both fields when it plays. And the "display both fields" in the Event Browser Display must have a bug. It doesn't work for me, it always displays both fields.
But in the main Viewer I only see field 1 while playing.

Procurement type field only displayed

We are creating (and changing) a material (transaction MM01/MM02) with material type ZAWA, which is a copy of material type HAWA with added MRP screens.
Now, the problem is that the field "Procurement type" (MARC-BESKZ) is only displayed with a default setting to "F" (external procurement). It is not possible to change it to anything else, ie "E".
What I do not understand is why it is set to this default setting "F" when I create the material?
What configuration could set the default value for the procurement type? Is it depending on the material type?
I have checked the Field selection group (trans. OMSR) for this field, and for the field reference belonging to material type ZAWA, it is set to "Required entry"...but where do I set it should be defaulted to "F"?

Displaying only active BOMs using CS20 ?

I need to know is there way after i excecute CS20 transaction i can display only active BOMs . Is this possible ? Because right now it displays both active and inactive BOMs.

I just found out that the user does not enter the VALID FROM date . All that is entered into the selection criteria is Material , Usage , Change Number , Plant .
Will entering VALID FROM date help solve the problem of seeing only the active BOMs .

PDF forms have problems displaying text and only appears when the field is selected

Hello,
I created some pdf forms to distribute to the company clients. But we are having some people complaining about the text visibility. When they have work in team, the pdf that they receive from a third person often appears unfill or without text, the text is only visible when the field is selected. I need to find a solution for this because our company products are base on this forms.
If there is any addition information that I should add to understand what is happening and how to fix it, I'll be happy to write it.
In the company, we all have mac and the forms where created innitially in Adobe acrobat 9 pro, but we have now Adobe acropabt XI pro.
The users have both Mac and Windows systems.

This is usually caused by the form being filled-in and saved by a Mac user who is using the Preview application to view the PDF. More information is here: http://kb2.adobe.com/community/publishing/885/cpsid_88564.html
It is a good idea to inform your users that Adobe Reader (or Acrobat) should be used to work with the forms.

Hiding Custom Fields in Migo

Hi All,
I have customized the MIGO screen by adding a subscreen with two fields using MB_migo_Badi and the data entered in these fields is saving in a custom data base table using the POST_DOCUMENT method of the BADI.
I Need to write the code to display these values in the MIGO, only while displaying the
"Goods Receipt - Purchase Order" & for the rest, fields need to be hidden..
Please help me on how to solve this problem by suggesting the method or sample code?

Here where can i fieldnames for Goods Receipt-Purchase Order in a structure so that i can write
if structurename-Action = 'a01' and structurename-Refdoc = 'r01'
screen-active = 0.
Endloop.
Also Need to Separate these fields based on Company Code.
Any Help would be appreciated.

Additional fields in MIGO transaction

Hi Everybody,
We have a requirement where we need to have additional fields in MIGO transaction when the user chooses 'distribute qty' option to split the quantity, the normal screen shows the following fields,
1. Qty in UnE
2. Stock type
3. Movement type
4.Stor location, we need Serial number, Drum number in Screen number 1000 of SAPLMIGO program, Can any one tell me how do I achieve this functionality,

The only option I see is design your own custom screen with the required fields and call it as popup ( Modal Dialog Box ) from user exit ZXMBCU02 .
This user exit will be triggered when you click on "CHECK" or "SAVE" button.
There is no way to modify MIGO screen itself , so maybe you will have to pass the item number etc from MIGO and have a table control on your custom screen for data entry.
For saving data into database donot use this exit as a user may just check and go out and you will unnecssarily push the data into z table . In this exit do an export to memory for your custom fields.
In another exit ZXMBCU01 , do an import from memory and update the required Z table . This exit is called while updating material document in update task.
However to goto popup screen for displaying chnaging custom fields you will have to press "CHECK" button , maybe a user training issue.

How to disable 'Stock type' field in MIGO depending doc. type or mvt. type

Does anybody knows how to deactivate (just display but not modify) field 'Stock field' in MIGO transaction if we just want to do that for an specific document type (UB)? If it's not possible, does anybody know how to do that but by movement type (351/101)?
Now stock type can be changed from unrestricted (set by default) to blocked or under quarantine when we post GI or GR related to a STO (351/101) and we want to avoid users changing this field.

USE t Code OMJX, and set the Stock type to DISPLAY ONLY, but that'd be for all Mov.t types. The PO document type would not matter here!! You could use a USER EXIT upon SAVE to revert to what ever you need irrespective of user changes other wise.. Thats an option!! Talk to your ABAP' er

Creating Expandable fields in Abobe Acrobat 9.0 professional

Hello,
I am in the process of converting a standard PDF file to a interactive one. The problem I am having is that some of the fields need to be expandable to accommodate needs of the application. I am using Adobe Acrobat 9.0 to convert the standard form into a PDF file to PDF interactive file.
I have looked in Adobe Acrobat 9.0 Professional but I have not been able to find any documentation on how to expand the fields in the 9.0 Professional version.
Can you tell me if the LiveCycle Designer has the ability to expand fields and if so how can I set up the document to create the expanded fields. I have reviewed the help documents but it not very clear as to how to go about accomplishing this task.
I have attache the form that I like to expand.
I would really appreciate some guidance in this area

Yes, LC has expandaple fields.
First you have to make your field multiline
Second - make it expand:
But you shaould remember tha field will be expanded only after you type smth in it and lost focus.

New to Macs just purchased a 27-inch: 2.7GHz mac when I open e.g my company website or facebook it only displays centre of the screen How do I set it up show full screeen also the bar at the top is hard to read as so small can this be increased, ??

Hi I need some help please as above I have just purchased my first mac 27" and as much I love it as a newbie im having some teething troubles, when say Facebook or my company website is displayed it is only displayed in the centre of the screen I know I can zoom in and out but that doesnt look great and dont want to have to that on each page display, how do i fix this please.
Also the toolbar at the top of the page is so small and hard to read is there a way to increase and fix the size

For the browser window, just drag it to the top left of the screen (click and hold on the top bar with the traffic lights to drag), then in the bottom right of the window you'll see a rectangle with diagonal hatching. Click and hold on that and drag the window to the size you want.
Clicking on the green dot at top left will expand the window to fit the screen, clicking it again will shrink it back to where it was (this doesn't work in Finder windows quite the same).
The menu bar size is set in the bowels of the OS, though there may be third-party applications which can alter it.
As it's size is relative to the screen resolution, you could try reducing the resolution in System Preferences > Displays to see if that would suit you better.

DIsplaying WRBTR (AMOUNT FIELD)WITHOUT DECIMAL PLACES

ERFMG Field in MIGO to be EMpty Initially.

Hello Guys,
I currently have a situation where I require the Quantity in UoM (ERFMG) field in MIGO need to be Empty/Zero when the user enters the PO number Initial for movement type 103 only. This should be active only for Goods Receipt->Purchase Order (103 movement type). The reason for this is because, one of the user has posted a GRN for a whole Open PO Quantity.
We actually tried a BADI to get this - MB_MIGO_BADI by making the field ERFMG=0. But the result was, the system is giving a Zero even after we enter a value/number in the field.
Pls give me a solution to this issue.

Hide/Suppress Cost center field in MIGO and MB1A for movement types 551&552

Hi All,
Can anybody tell me how to suppress or hide the cost center field in MIGO or MB1A for movement types 551 and 552?
I did below settings and it worked fine for only MB1A and for MIGO still it is showing cost center field.
IMG > Materials Management > Inventory Management and Physical Inventory >Goods Issue/Transfer posting > Define screen layout > select movement type to change the option.
Also I did gothrough the settings for Enjoy transaction (MIGO) there we have only option to make fields either "Required entry" or "Optional entry" and we don't have an option to hide/suppress.
Please advise or help me .

The cost center field is a required field in mvt type 551 as you are scrapping materials, some cost center will need to take the cost of this operation.
Anyway, you first need to make the field as optional for example, before you move.
One option is that you create a screen variant in Tcode SHD0 for MB1A, where 551 is setup as constant (with content) , and mark Cost center as invisible and assign this screen variant to a transaction in SE93.
