Only one document(row) in index?

Hi all I am new to using Oracle Text for indexing pdf's, I am running 11.2.0.1.0, I have a table that has a field that is a blob, we load pdf's in the field.
I build an index, that completed no problem, but I noticed that it looks like only the first row ( field is being indexed ) and that is what the query returns.
Am I missing something to make the index work on all the rows?
I am not sure what to post here so you guys have what you need to help out , so just ask and I will get it posted.

DMS Connector for KM : I see only one document type from the document area

Hi,
The DMS connector is installed successfully on KM.
I can display folder tree and documents but I see only one type of document.
I mean, when I use transaction OAC0, I see different content repository defined in DMS.
I wonder where is the setting that specified which content is link to the DMS connector for KM.

I installed the DMS once, but my experience how to use it is poor.
In the Backend ( Transaction CV01N i think,) you can store search variants using the prefix you have defined for the DMSRM (default is KM_<theName>). This variants can be used to filter out several documents. There must be a way to give authorizations on them. Maybe you will have to use a security manager, i don't know.. in our case the user persistence (authScheme) was SAP-System an no TREX involved.
It is not much, but maybe it helps...

Field editable in FB02 for only one document type and user

Hi:
I have a question about editing a field and I hope you can help me. I need to make a field editable in FB02, but only for one document type and two users. The field is BSEG-ZFBDT, Baseline payment dte.
I have tried in ‘Document Change Rules’, make this field editable when line item not cleared, but it works for all document types and users.
Please, any idea?

You have to write a ABAP code to achieve this.
Validation is another Option where you can mention that value is allowed in the Baseline Date field only if the User and Document type value satisfies.

Prints only one document before needing reset

I have a Samsung ML-1710 connected to my TC by USB. The TC is a member of my wireless network and has WSD remote enabled. After I power on the TC I am able to wirelessly print one document regardless of its size. The second document goes to the printer without any errors but it is never printed. Restarting the printer or computer does not help. But if I power cycle the TC, and resend the document I get one more document. Any ideas? Thanks

The Bluetooth work around as worked for most customers and does not for some. This is for both Vista 64 and Windows 7 64. With your case it sounds like the Bluetooth partnership needs to be renewed. To do that delete both partnerships from the device and then re-add them. Customer should be blocked only one document type ?

Dear
how to block some customers only for some sales document types
ex: customers 1000,10005,1006,1007
now i have sales document types .. ZSOR ,ZSOZ, ,ZSOOZ
Now 1006 customer should not be allowed to create ZSOOZ Order but he can create all document types

It can be done with standard system itself--Here i don't want disagree with other members.
Have you tried with option called--Define & assign blocking reasons to sales document types.
IMG→SD→Sales→Sales Documents→Define & assign blocking reasons.
1.Create one Blocking reason(X) ,
2.Assign this-X, to all your sales document types(OR)
3.Now you assign this Blocking reason to the customer(A),whom you want to block.
4.When you try with A with OR--system will blocks.
5.For other customers(B,C,D....) will be allowed with OR.

ORA-19025: EXTRACTVALUE returns value of only one nod- When creating index

When i try to create a index on XML column and i am getting the above exception. kindly help me out becz i'm not familar with oracle.
Query is
create index XMLTest_ind on language_resource_wrapper

index on sp,pp elements in the above XML.

The problem is that in one row, information in a data dump about two different things was combined into one, due to a gap in the input file. The starting delimiter for the second thing and the ending delimiter for the first were missing. The result was that many entity tags that should have been unique were duplicated, ion that particular row.
I was able to guard the view against future such errors with occurrences using this
in the WHERE clause ...
AND NOT ( XMLCLOB LIKE '%<TAG1>%<TAG1>%'
OR XMLCLOB LIKE '%<TAG2>%<TAG2>%'
OR XMLCLOB LIKE '%<TAG3>%<TAG3>%'
/* ... Repeated once for each tag used with extractvalue */
OR XMLCLOB LIKE '%<TAGN>%<TAGN>%'
It filters out any row with two identical starting tags, where one is expected.
I am pleased to see that the suggestion got through.

Only one row appendable at a time in alv

I would like to limit only one blank row at a time in my alv grid. Means, if i append a row using the standard "Append Row" Button, the user should not be able to append a second blank row till he fills out the first one.
Any hints ??

i put some code in the ...AFTER event, but it seems it is not executed on clicking the append button. I set a breakpoint there but it did not break.
any other suggestions?
my main problem is that when i append multiple rows in the alv and subsequently save the data from this alv grid, somehow one field is getting cleared and not holding the value the user has entered. for example, if i add 5 rows and then put data in these rows and save it, second row shows an initial value for a date field in the table. rest of the rows hold the correct value. i don't know if it is a webdynpro bug or my mistake...i tried redoing everything but to no avail...same problem everywhere.
thus i m trying to restrict the user to one row at a time only. it will be ideal if i can somehow solve the original problem. if not, even restricting to one row will be good enough.

If you have the database toolkit you can delete a row using just a SQL Query to "DB Tools Execute Query.VI"
Example:
DELETE FROM Table name Where SerialNum='Value' And Date='Value' And Time='Value'

Select event not triggered in table with only one row

Hi all,
I am building a BI VC application where query data is displayed in a table. When the user clicks on a table row another query is then triggered and output in a second table. The output from table 1 is linked to the input of query2/table2 with a select event.
The problem that I am facing is that if there is only one row in table 1, the select event is never triggered. If, however there are two or more rows in the table the select event is triggered and query 2 is executed. I have searched the forums but all I could find on select event problems was how to avoid the initial select event.
Has anyone else experienced this issue and what is the workaround or is this a bug in Visual Composer? We are on VC 7.0 SP19.

Yes we have considered this option as well. But as we have more than one table linked together we would like to avoid having to manually click several buttons.
In the end I found Note 1364334 describing bugfixes released in VC 7.0 SP20:
"Normally, when a Visual Composer table is populated from a data service, the first row is selected by default. However, we have found that if only one data row is returned from the data service, this row is not selected by default and cannot be manually selected by clicking on it either."
So I think we will just have to upgrade our Portal to the latest support packs to solve this problem.

Only Allow ONE Document Type??

we use the config "Define Account Assignment Cat. and Document Type for Purchase Requisitions" to assign document type for PM module.
What if i need more than one document types for different company code? seems like the system allows me to assign only ONE document type.

PR(ME52N) field change for one document type

I have a requirement to have quanity field in display mode in ME52n (PR change) for only one document type say NB. for other document type the quantity field should be change mode. is this possible..if so cna you please explain in detail.

Here should be slight change to the earlie posted version.
1. Materials Management - > Purchasing -> Purchase Requisition -> Define Screen Layout at Document Level
2. select the Screen layout ME52N & copy this to new 'Felid selection group' (Say ZZZZ) and check Quantity field to be 'display' check box. (It is usually not advisable to make changes to standard 'Felid selection group')
3. Then, Materials Management - > Purchasing -> Purchase Requisition -> Define Document Types
4. define the screen layout in Field Selection Key created (ZZZZ) against the document type 'NB' and your ME52N should restrict 'quantity' field as 'Display' while other document types can still show 'Quantity' field as editable.

Selecting only one row at a time

i have following doubt regarding selecting rows from a db:
Is there any way of selecting only one row AT A TIME from a dabase just to collect the data in rows instead of in a unique document containing all the rows?
I would like you to ellaborate on this as i need to send only one row to the IE, and then other row, and so on... without throwing any error!
I have seen that there are SELECT SINGLE and SELECT UP TO 1 ROW, but these two methods are only useful when retrieving only one row, and that does not match my requirements. I need to process all the rows but one by one..
I know that we can use the receiver jdbc adapter as if it was a sender by means of its specific datatype, but how to do it row by row??

Yes, my table has 5 not null fields but i am selecting and updating fixes values so i think that I will definetely go for the next solution:
SELECT * FROM t1 WHERE status='0' and ROWNUM<2;
UPDATE t1 SET status='1' WHERE status='0' and ROWNUM<2;
My only concern is if the update will take the same row that the select.... BTW, I think it will
..What do you guys think?
I ve been trying to operate with your proposed queries but i received some errors. Your queries are very interesting but i think that with the above ones i meet my requirements as the status field will be 0 for not processed rows and 1 for precessed ones (and the update will look for the row that meets the same 'where' clause than the select, and then, and only then, it will set status='1').
The only thing i have to care about is what i questioned before.

SSAS ProcessAdd: ProcessAdd only one row to a big dimension(100 minion records) is very slow, Why?

I'm using the xmla to add a custom dsv to doing processadd, in my testing, only process add 1 row to a big dimension(already has more than 100minion rows) will cost more than 10 mins. bellow is the test enviorement:
DimensionTable: TestDimension with only one column PKey, which is the identity key, type is int.
Test machine: Vitual Machine, Windows Server 2012+SSAS 2012. the machine has 64G Memory and 8 cores CPU.
Does anyone can tell me why processadd only 1 row cost so much time? what does the SSAS do when processadd a dimension. i want internal explanations. Using profiler tool, i found many read data, is this a bug with SSAS? does it need read all the dimension
data to rebuild the dimension structure or level or index?

According to your description, you want to know why processadd only 1 row cost 10 minutes, right? ProcessAdd sound like a useful option (faster than ProcessUpdate, less impact than ProcessFull etc) but when you try and use it you will find it is not as straightforward

Is it possible to create two indices within one document?
I've got a book made up of 4 separate indesign docs. I'd like to generate two indices – one listing brands, the other listing by product type
Is it possible, or is the index function only set up to handle one index per book/document?

i think with trigger it w't be possible because,
same transaction triggers c't query the table (Mutating Table),
Autonomus trans ca't identify uncommited changes.
