Only publish images on canvas?

Hi
On my document I have an image that goes over the canvas but
I when I publish it I dont want the image that is not on the canvas
to display. Is there a publish setting that I can change to only
display the images on the canvas?

It only happens when your publish setting for html is 100% x
100%
Use match movie or exact pixels instead.
You can also use 100% but set scale to 'exact fit' instead of
'show all' to avoid the area beyond the stage from showing.

  • Displaying images in canvas one after another

    Hi all,
    I have a problem displaying images in canvas one after another. I am using for loop and when i run the application, all images run back in the and only finally only the last image gets displayed in the emulator. I also used thread.sleep(). But it din't work.
    Here is my code:
    // A canvas that illustrates image drawing
    class DrawImageCanvas extends Canvas
    Image image;
    public void paint(Graphics g)
    int width = getWidth();
    int height = getHeight();
    g.setColor(0);
    g.fillRect(0, 0, width, height);
    String images[]={"paint_2.PNG","radha.PNG","cute.png","design.png","flowers.png"};
    for(int i=0;i<images.length;i++)
    image = null;
    System.out.println("/"+images);
         try
         image = Image.createImage("/"+images[i]);
    catch (IOException ex)
    System.out.println(ex);
    g.setColor(0xffffff);
    g.drawString("Failed to load image!", 0, 0, Graphics.TOP | Graphics.LEFT);
    return;
    if (image != null)
    g.drawImage(image, width/2, height/2, Graphics.VCENTER | Graphics.HCENTER);
    try
    Thread.sleep(5000);
    catch(Exception ex)

    Help me and Thanks in advance.

    See the code below : prefer the use of a Timer and a TimerTask instead of Thread.sleep().

  • Dropping image on canvas causes image to jump.

    When I drop an image on a canvas in AIR the image "jumps" a few pixels to several from the current mouse location.
    So if the mouse is at location (12, 12) and I drop the image it may appear at (10, 14), or (15, 20), or whatever. It doesn't appear to be a consistent offset like I would expect if this were caused by using global to local mouse position thing (but I'm not ruling that out anyway).
    Secondly, when I then drag to move the image on the canvas the drag proxy will again jump many pixels from the mouse cursor.
    Here is my mouse down handler:
                private function dragBegin(event:MouseEvent):void
                      var dragInitiator:Image = Image(event.currentTarget);
                    var ds:DragSource = new DragSource();
                    ds.addData(dragInitiator, "img");
                    var dragProxy:Image = new Image();
                    dragProxy.source = event.currentTarget.source;
                    DragManager.doDrag(dragInitiator, ds, event, dragProxy);
    And the drop handler:
            private function dragDropHandler(event:DragEvent):void
                   var image:Image = Image(event.dragSource.dataForFormat("img"));
                   image.x = event.localX;
                   image.y = event.localY;
                   UIComponent(event.currentTarget).addChild(device);
    What am I doing wrong that is causing this jumping?
    Thanks,
    -Mark

    Hi,
    I think the only way to do this is to use a jsp with a servlet, where the servlet would create the image and send it over as a stream, while the jsp would call on the link of the servlet and display that image using the HTML <IMG> tag.
    So, if you have a servlet, lets call it PictureServlet.
    This is what you would do in your servet:
    // create that image and send it over from the doPost/doGet method of the servlet
    public void doPost(HttpServletRequest request, HttpServletResponse response)
        throws ServletException, IOException {
    response.setContentType("image/jpg"); // set the stream to be a JPEG image
    ServletOutputStream sos = response.getOutputStream(); // create the output stream
    BufferedImage bImg = createImage(); // this is where you write on your image using canvas and return it as a Bufferedimage
    ImageIO.write(bImg,"JPG",sos); // write the image to the stream as JPEG
    sos.close(); // close the output stream
    public void doGet(HttpServletRequest request, HttpServletResponse response)
        throws ServletException, IOException {
            doPost(request, response);
        } This is how you would get that image and display it in your JSP.
    <img src="../servlet/PictureServlet" name="pic">Note the path might be different, depending on the hierarchy of where jsps and servlets are stored on the server.
    I hope this helps,
    Val.

  • Publishing Images to Flickr

    I'm having trouble publishing images to Flickr using the built-in Flickr button. For some reason only the original image is being uploaded. For example I took a photo that was crooked and needed white-balance adjustment. I straightened and adjusted the WB then dragged the image into my Flickr album. When I go to the Flickr site, the photo is the original photo; crooked and yellowish. I tried deleting it from Flickr and uploading it again and still the original photo shows up on Flickr's site! It's especially frustrating since this uploading is eating away at my Flickr 100 MB photo limit and I can't experiment too much.
    Is anyone else having this problem or have a solution?

      Not sure why they are there but the Publish services e.g. uploading to Flickr, SmugMug etc. does not create any new files on your hard drive.

  • Place image on canvas

    Hi.
    I am trying to place image on canvas.
    However the image doesn't show!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(
    no error and compiles well....
    private void AddTile(String image, int startx, int starty, int endx, int endy)
    try{
    tiles = ImageIO.read(new File(image));
    catch(Exception e)
    System.out.println("Image not Found");
    Graphics2D a =(Graphics2D)tiles.getGraphics();
    a.drawImage(tiles, 20,20,20,20,TileCanvas);
    if the above function is called the image should be placed on canvas right?
    TileCanvas is a canvas, and tiles is BufferedImage.
    just in case I'll put my source code followed by this

    You have at least two problems.
    1) You are mixing AWT and Swing. Instead of using a Canvas you should use either a JComponent or a JPanel.
    2) In Swing, drawing such are you are doing should be done within the paintComponent(Graphics g) method using the Graphics provided as an argument to the method.
    P.S. I can't test you code because for some reason you feal the need to use a NetBeans specific layout manager.

  • OutOf Memory Error while saving image of canvas

    Hi,
    I am facing a weired problem while saving the image of the graphics in Canvas. It's giving me OutOfMemory error. Here is snippet of code:
    if(cmd.equals(C.ACTION_SAVE)){
                try {
                    FileDialog fd = new FileDialog(frame, "Save ProcessInstance as JPEG", FileDialog.SAVE);
                    fd.setFile(processInstance.getProcessDefinition().getName() +processInstance.getProcessOwner() +processInstance.getProcessOwnerId() +".jpeg");
                    fd.show();
                    String name = fd.getDirectory()+fd.getFile();
                        int w = canvas.getWidth(), h = canvas.getHeight();
                        BufferedImage image = new BufferedImage(w, h,
                                BufferedImage.TYPE_INT_RGB);
                        Graphics2D g2 = image.createGraphics();
                        canvas.paint(g2);
                        g2.dispose();
                        ImageIO.write(image, "jpeg", new File(name));
                    } catch (IOException e) {
                        System.err.println(e);
                    }

    Hi,
    I tried to run garbage collector for the same and now its working fine. I want to know is there any drawback of using this approach. I am new to java and waiting for ur expert comments. I added following lines in the above code just below ImageIO.write(image, "jpeg", new File(name));:

    I am not familiar with Jpeg2000, but the easiest way I've found to go from Java to a JPeg file is with Java Adavanced Imaging (JAI) package from Sun. Take a look at it and see if it meets your requirements.

  • Anchor link only for image in table header for sorting

    Hi,
    I need to implement sorting functionality for datatable.
    for sorting header of the table column will have image along with header text.
    for this i am using <h:commandLink> and <h:graphicImage>.
    But i am getting behaviour as anchor link for both text and image.
    deserved behavior for this is only ofr Image.
    If any one implemented the same ..please help me
    Regards

    Try:
    Sub ClearKeepWNext()
    Dim Tbl As Table, i As Long
    For Each Tbl In ActiveDocument.Tables
      With Tbl
        .Range.ParagraphFormat.KeepWithNext = False
        For i = 1 To .Rows.Count
          With .Rows(i)
            If .HeadingFormat = True Then

            Else
              Exit For
            End If
          End With
        Next
      End With
    Next
    End Sub
    If the tables only have a single heading row, you could instead use:
    Sub ClearKeepWNext()
    Dim Tbl As Table
    For Each Tbl In ActiveDocument.Tables
      With Tbl
        .Range.ParagraphFormat.KeepWithNext = False

          If .HeadingFormat = True Then
            .AllowBreakAcrossPages = False
          End If
        End With
      End With
    Next
    End Sub

  • Publishing Image: Not able to remove it

    Good morning,
    I have a problem with a Pulishing Image attribute on a library: I add it as an optional parameter and everything works fine (creating a new item without filling this field and creating a new item filling in it).
    My problem is when I want to remove a previously populated image from a library item. I receive a warning that I cannot leave that field empty.
    Can anybody help me?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    Per my understanding, there is a Publishing Image type column in your library. When removing an image from an item of this column in EditForm.aspx page, there is a warning message
    that cannot leave this field empty.
    I tried to reproduce this issue in my environment as below:
    1. Create a custom site column in “Publishing Image” type;
    2. Add this custom site column to a library;
    3. Add new document into this library, in the EditForm.aspx page, select an image for the custom site column, save;
    4. “Edit Properties” of this newly item, in the EditForm.aspx page, remove the image from that site column, save;
    It turns out that all works as expected.
    I suggest you follow the steps above for another test in a new library to see if the issue persists.
    Thanks

  • Flickering Image update (only one Image drawn on Component), 10+ Duke Dolla

    I've made an RBGFilter for Images and Combined it with a Thread
    to make an Image fade from Color to Grayscale.
    I use it together with an home made JComponent. It works, but the Image flickers.
    I've tried longer sleep periods (I thougt that maybe the filter was to slow) but it still flickered when changing the Image. I tried dubbel buffering, but couldn't get it to change the Image. Anyway, I suppose double buffering wouldn't help much, while it's only one Image to be drawn and it covers the entire Component.
    Does anyone have a clue about how to do?? You'll get plenty of Duke Dollars!
    (in the fade class)
    public void run()
    try{
    while( !Thread.interrupted() ){
    Thread.sleep( 70 );
    //Change colors:
    Image tmpImage = Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit().createImage(
    new FilteredImageSource( colorImage.getSource(), fadeFilter ) );
    ImageComponent.setImage( tmpImage ); //Home made component
    //test if fading is finished...
    catch( InterruptedException ie ){}
    (in the home made component)
    public void setImage( Image theImage )
    this.theImage = theImage;
    repaint();
    public void paintComponent( Graphics g )
    g.drawImage( theImage, 0, 0, this );
    }

    I dont know much about java but i do know a bit about MFC and this reminds me of a similiar issue in mfc. So heres my bet:
    Calls to repaint do call directly to paintComponent they first execute some code that paints the background of the component then calls the paintComponent routine. Typically the background is white and this results in flickering.
    Thats just a hunch. Because its similiar to an issue that you get in MFC around animation with framework paint calls.
    You can play the hunch by calling paintComponent directly and see if your flickering goes away. If it does find a way to use repaint without it repainting the background before it calls paintComponent (im sure theres a way or a similiar framework routine)
    One last thing? is the custom componet that your working with swing based? Cause swing based components are supposed to double buffer by default.

  • Select only those images which are in a Stack

    Hi.
    Is there any way to filter the Browser view to show only those images which are in a stack?
    I often make a few details (cropped versions) of Masters, which I keep stacked with the Master. I would like to filter my Browser view to show either only those Stacks, or, alternatively, only those Versions which are not in a Stack.
    Slightly more complicated: I have many whole-Library Smart Albums which pick up the cropped Versions (by Keyword). Some of these cropped Versions have become detached (un-Stacked). I would like to be able to filter these Smart Albums for Versions which are not part of a Stack.
    Even more complicated: I would like to filter the same Smart Albums for Versions which have Stack-mates in the same Smart Album -- that is, I would like to identify within the Smart Albums those Versions which share a Master. I've made this slightly easier by Stacking the Versions with the Master, but I don't know how to filter an Album for those Stacks which contain two or more Versions.
    In short, I'm looking to access the properties "Is in Stack" (or whatever Aperture calls it), and "Number of Stack-mates in Stack in this view" (or whatever Aperture calls it). Aperture knows this -- it is displayed visually -- but I don't how to access it.
    Thanks.

    Thanks for the reply, Allen. That's all I've been able to figure out. It would nice (and, imho, proper) for Aperture (a DBMS) to provide user access to all properties.

    Hi ViswAmmu,
    >>Please help me out to get transparency for path in canvas to view background image in canvas.
    If I'm not misunderstanding, I think you just need to loop through all Canvas.Children and set Opacity property for them:
    private void Image_MouseLeftButtonDown_1(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e)
    //Loop through all children items
    foreach(UIElement v in CanvasPanel.Children)
    v.Opacity = 0;
    op.Title = "Select a picture";
    op.Filter = "All supported graphics|*.jpg;*.jpeg;*.png|" +
    "JPEG (*.jpg;*.jpeg)|*.jpg;*.jpeg|" +
    "Portable Network Graphic (*.png)|*.png";
    if (op.ShowDialog() == true)
    ib.ImageSource = new BitmapImage(new Uri(op.FileName));
    imgBackground.Source = new BitmapImage(new Uri(op.FileName));
    CanvasPanel.Background = ib;
