Only stock transfer requisition in ATP for a sales order

Dear all,
I need to modify  the available check result in a sales order.
In customizing for availabity check 02 and checking rule A I set the flag "Incl. purchase requisitions".
But during availability check the system considers both stock transfer requisition and purchase requisition.
I need that the system takes into account only stock transfer requisition.
Could you help me?
Kindest regards
Flavia

Hi Flavia,
Please set the parameter value for following
Incl.rel.order reqs = X in OPJJ transaction code for 02 and A combination and uncheck "Incl. purchase requisitions".
Hope this will resolve.
If it is helpful please award points.

  • ATP for multiple sales order

Hi, we are having a strange system behaviour.
    - 3 sales orders are created for a material.
    - At the time when order is created, available stock quanity in SLoc is zero. So the user selects the delivery proposal date given by the system (for this material it is 30 days - say 11 feb 2011).
    - So in each of the three order, we have 2  schedule line. One for todays date (which is not confirmed) and the other for 11 feb 2011 (which is confirmed).
    - Now partial (qty) stock is made available in SLoc ( stock is in unrestriced use)
    - When Av. Chk is done in one of the above order, system does not propose the partial available qty.
    - However, if Av Chk is executed for all the 3 orders (and the orders are saved), available qty is proposed for confirmation in the last order for whihc av. chk was done. Ideally system should have proposed these qty during av. chk in first order itself. This is strange behaviour in production system, but it is working fine in quality & pre-production.
Please guide n how to trace & resolve this issue.

    BC,
Well, I will assume that you have been diligent and have already determined that the material masters are comparable between your qual system and your production system (I don't know what pre-production means).
First thing I would check would be the differences between qual and prod in availability check configuration.  OVZ2.  Look especially at the 'accumul' settings.  Actually, any difference between qual and prod should be reviewed.  Differences are a no-no!

  • Multiple purchase orders for one sales order: ME59

    Hi,
I have issue with converting sales order into a purchase order.
A standard third party sales order (type TAS) with multiple line items is being converted to a single purchase order.
In case of a free of charge sales order (type FD) with multiple line items, each line item is being converted to an individual PO.
The difference between TAS and FD is the item catecory and schedule line category.
In both the above cases only one purchase requisition is being created per sales order. The issue is when this PR is being converted to a PO. (ME59 is used to convert the PR).
Is there any setting/config which is driving the multiple PO creation based on either schedule line category or the account assignment category setup in the schedule line category?
    Please advice...
    Thanks,

  • Planning release order for a Stock Transfer Requisition (PRqRel)

    Hello all,
Is there a possibility to stop MRP/MPS from planning a 'Release order for a Stock Transfer Requisition (PRqRel)' ? I would want them planned after they are released (OrdDS).
    Please do help out.

    Hello again...
The sample code provided on method CHANGE_MDPSX_MDUA of this BAdI should do the trick:
    method if_ex_md_change_mrp_data~change_mdpsx_mdua .
    *  Makes stock transport purchase requisitions not availability-relevant
*--> substitutes part of the modification of note 190298.
    * For the other parts the same has to be made in methods:
    * CHANGE_MDPSX_MDUP for stock transport planned orders
    * CHANGE_MDPSX_MDUB for stock transport orders.
    *--> delete flag for availability
       clear ch_mdps-vrfkz.

  • Stock transfer requisition for non-valuated material

    Dear SAP gurus,
We are using non-valuated materials extensively in our company; and we are having scenario where people in one plant would need to request material from other plant. We will use Stock Transfer Requisition for this.
However I found one strange thing. When we create Requisition for stock transfer (item category U) for a non-valuated material, I got error message asking me to put valuation price. This puzzle me because this is obviously a non-valuated materials where we dont even have accounting view for this material.
    Please help.
    John.

    Hi,
Think on suggestions given by other expert. However till that time you check whether it takes "Zero value".If so put it .Any way its non valuated material. At least your work will strart.

  • Delete Stock transfer requisitions

    Hi,
    1.  Is the programs /SAPAPO/RLCDELETE used to delete any transaction data or just the orphan orders?
    2. Do we need to delete stock transfer requisitions before running deployment?
    3. Is there a best practice to delete so many days STRs and run deployment for so many days? If so how many days are they?
    Thanks.

    Hello ,
The transaction  /SAPAPO/RLCDELETE can be used to delete transaction data .
It is not essential to delete the STR before deployment run .
In the SNP planning book through 'deployment settings' we can control "what  to do with the existing deployment stock transfer orders " .
Also there are options for 'real time deployment run ' or 'refering to last snp run '
The deployment horizon will vary with the business needs.

  • ATP check on Sales order items not due for delivery?

    All,
In our Sales order, we have a number of dummy material lines. Now, when I use the normal sales order ATP check button, SAP does nothing. However, we have a custom program that does an ATP check, and it returns a zero qty.
My question is, how do we know if a material is due for delivery, before an ATP check is done? The only suggestion I have is to look at the schedule line, and see if there is a material movement behind it.
    Any other ideas?

    Mark
This is a classic SD Professional's dilemma, though it manifests differently at different clients. Mostly customers crib about future requirements stopping current sales orders from being delivered or Scheduling agreements with future delivery dates 'stealing' stock from Sales orders.  Another manifestation is production orders usurping components from sales orders for spares and so on. ATP functionality in SAP is pulled in various directions by conflicting demands and it is difficult to satisfy everyone. Companies with chronic probelms often end up with negative ATP which is perhaps the most serious stage of the prognosis.
    Your solution lies in:
    1) Availability check control settings : Sales documents vs. deliveries  : For the delivery, don't include 'Sales Requirements'  and for the sales orders, do include 'Delivery Requirements and so on.
    2) Performing nightly rescheduling (V_V2) with Delivery priority and delivery date as key sort criteria. If the volumes are not high, you can try using manual confirmation via CO06.
Take a look at this OSS note and the ones mentioned within:

  • Storage Location Error duing GR of Subcontarct for The Sales Order Stock.

    HI ,
Is there any settings  to avoid individual entry of Storage Location field for the child components during  the  Goods Receipt from Subcontractor  for the Sales Order Stock.
As per SAP standard , I have created Separate storage location for Sales order stock components as the Stock provided to vendor  . While receiving the header component , System showing error to enter storage location for all the BOM component s .  My Requirement is , Storage location should come automatically for the child component while receiving the Header Component.
    Yogesh.K.

    Hi Jurgen,
He's right, the posting is not a bug.
In case of MTO scenario, if components are managed in the sales order / project stock system withdraw them from storage location.
    http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_04/helpdata/EN/4d/2b90b043ad11d189410000e829fbbd/frameset.htm
The subcontracting orders are account-assigned to a sales order or a WBS element. Thus, the components are not transferred (using a transfer posting) to the "stock of material provided to vendor" but are directly withdrawn from the sales order stock or the project stock at the time of the goods receipt.
Since the components are not transferred to the "stock of material provided to vendor", we recommend that you use a transfer posting to transfer the provided components to a new storage location (for example, 9999). This enables you to obtain an overview of those stocks that are physically located at the subcontractor. This information is particularly important when you carry out a physical inventory of the sales order stocks and project stocks.

  • Kindly explain the step by step procedure for configuring sales order stock

    Hi friends,
can anybody explain the step by step procedure for configuring sales order stock.
Stock that is used for a sales order. It is directly allocated to a sales order. Components can only be used to produce material ordered by the customer and the finished product can only be delivered to the customer via the sales order.
You can manage valuated or non-valuated sales order stock.
If the sales order stock is not valuated, it is managed via a cost collector. The system does not carry out invoice verification postings for goods movements, and you cannot obtain an overview of how the stock is valuated until the end of the settlement period in Controlling.
If the sales order stock is valuated, you have immediate access to its value in Financial Accounting. The assigned accounts are debited and credited as a result of the valuated goods movements.
but i am not clear of how to map it into sap.kindly explain it step by step.

Something wrong in the "item category" settings for that material.

  • Message: Stocks already exist for the sales order

    Hi Gurus,
I am trying to change the material valuation class in MM02. I am getting an error Stocks already exist for the sales order. Even though there exists no stock. SAP note suggests to make this error message as warning message. Could you pls help me to know the message class and number?
    Thanks
    Shashi

    Jürgen,
Yes, you are right. SAP, unfortunately does not tell that stock does not exists in current or previous period. As I consultant, I have assured that there exists no stock in current and previous period. However, I am not sure, still why this message is thrown. Its checked in MD04 that nothing is assigned to material and in MMBE no stock exists. We shall take care of this Sales order that it is not used after changing the valuation class but now I need to know what is the message class and number for that error. Suggestions would be much appreciated.

  • Automatic production order creation for remaining sales order quantity

    Hi All,
My requirement is to create automatic production order for a particular material when the available quantity ( Stock in MD04) is less than the sales order / Delivery quantity.Automatic production order should only be created for deficit quantity.
For example if i have stock of material A 100. I have recieved a sales order for 120 pieces. Now automatic production order should be created for 20 pieces only.
Any inputs/ suggestions, please let me know.
    Thanks in advance !!
    regards
    Pawan.

    Hi Pawan
In Material Master MM01 / MM02, you need to maintain 20 in MRP3 --> Planning --> Strategy Group.
If you maintain this, items can be produced only against sale order you are creating.
Dont forget to reward if this helps you.

  • MTO - how to prevent a second planned order for a sales order?

    Dear friends,
We are working on Make to Order process (Planning strategy group 20).
    No Production/process order is used
Shop floor uses a different system --> details from planned order is passed to the shop floor system; and finished product is delivered/posted into SAP Sales order stock - through interfaces
    No QM in place
    A typical day-to-day scenario –
    Sales order Qty = 100
MRP Run à Planned order qty = 100
Raw materials posted to ‘Sales order stock’
    Planned order is firmed
For example if Produced qty = 90
sales order stock of the finished product = 90
Balance 10 cannot be produced / delivered for various reasons
Planner posts the raw material to cost center / rejections / own stock etc., and ensures that the ‘sales order stock’ of the raw materials are zero.
    Planner deletes the planned order
Next MRP run triggers a new planned order for the balance qty 10
Now, the requirement is to prevent the new planned order getting generated for the balance quantity, during the subsequent MRP run (despite the shortage in the Sales order stock of the finished product).
The following options have been evaluated –
Once the final good receipt is done & before deleting the planned order,
o       Change the Sales order quantity to match the total produced quantity
o       (or) Change the schedule line category for the Sales order item from CP to CN
§         Since the Sales order and planned order are handled by different teams, considering the frequency of correspondence/coordination needed between these two teams to get the sales order items corrected, this idea is not accepted
§         Additional authorization for the planner to change the sales order item is not acceptable
Include Under delivery / Unlimited tolerances
o       at the customer (master) level
    o       (or) Sales order level…
    §         In this case, System seems to consider the tolerances only when the  delivery for the Sales order is posted; and not when the sales order stock is received within the tolerance limits;
§         Considering the time gap between the GR and Delivery of the finished product, this option is not accepted
Kindly suggest the other options / settings / processes, to meet this requirement
Thank you for your time and efforts.
    With Best Regards,

  • Separate planned order for each sales order

    Hello experts,
Here, on a given day when more than one sales order are created, only one planned order is generated by the system. My lot sizing procedure is ex. How can I create different planned orders for different sales order? My planning strategy for the header material is 40.
    Thanks in advance!
    Snigdho

    Dear,
In lot size EX if requirement comes on single day system will create combine procurement proposal in MTS.
Separate procurement proposals can only be achieved if you work with make-to-order production. Here, the requirements are managed in separate planning segments of the stock/requirements list.
Please refer the OSS note 550568 question no 6 for details.
