As far as I know not. Anyway, the use of itab definition as input for fieldcatalog generation is obsolete.
With the new ALV object model (e.g. CL_SALV_TABLE) you no longer need a fieldcatalog.

I doubt it. If you run payroll in simulation mode then no clusters gets created. This means no physical commit on DB takes places once results are generated. On the other hand capturing the results in flow is not probably achieveable too. This would mean interfering in payroll inner calucation or capturing them at the end (once results are dispalyed). You can of course send them to spool but importing its content to ABAP would be meaningless as the output is in tree form.
So in my opinion there is no such way.

You can extend this as far as you like -- it's really easy and MUCH MUCH easier than the old way with fieldcatalogs etc etc.

packedge The LinkedList class is indeed a standard class. However, I think that you most probably do something wrong with the packages you import. The class you want is in the java.util package and not in com.sun.java.util.collections, which actually does not exist at all.
Try to import the correct package.

Hi,
Try using anytest.type().kind().value() -> should yield TCKind._tk_string. See the javadoc for more info.
I think that the only way to check types is by comparing the codes; as far as I know there is no easy way to get the equivalent Java Class object or so. But I could be wrong on that one.

Thank you very much, both of you for your attention to my problem. It seems that I made a mistake in choosing the correct license type. First I chose the system ID " N4S - SAP NetWeaver 2004s (DB2) " but actually what I had to choose was " NPL - SAP NetWeaver 7.02 (MaxDB) ". So I found the following thread which showed me how to unistall the wrong license by truncating the content of the table SAPLIKEY.
Logon not possible (error in license check) for users other then SAP*
Then I downloaded the correct license, and everything worked pretty well.

You need to put your own TableCellRenderer into the table header. You implement the same interface as an ordinary cell renderer, but you install it differently. Here's a snippet of my code that does this:

Please help..How to get the values from a for loop in Action class

I have alist of students say A(name, class, subjects, teacher).
I need to display all the items in the list A into JSP,
and then also the details of (name, class, subjects, teacher).
in the action class,
After getting the list of students from the database with ORM Layer(Toplink),
I set request.setAttribute("students",listOfStudents).
And then Iterate over the list and pass the parameter as student ID to the functions
getClass(), getSubject(), getTeacher().

The problem I am facing is
If the last student has no subjects, no teachers
It is displaying null for all the other students.
I am understanding that the values are getting overwitten in the loop and the is frwede to JSP with the recentmost values for the attributes.
What could be a possible solution so that I retrieve the values for individual students and will be able to display on JSP?
((Please ignore any syntax in theabove example it is just a mock up created from the real problem)

The issue here is while you are retrieving all the details, you are consistently overwriting them in the request.setAttribute() call before you get to the JSP to display them.
Do you actually have a class/object called Student?
That object should have attributes for classes, subjects, teachers (all of which are lists apparently)

}Then you load each student, and populate its individual lists.
That lets you pass the list of students, each student having its own lists for display.

You can make the Hashmap object private and nonstatic and provide a getter method in this class to get the value corresponding to any particular key.
public Object getValue(String key)
return egalReviewPieceRelatedACLMap.get(key);
}

Get the BitmapData from a class

I'm still new to flash and flex. I have a png that I'm using defined like this
[Embed("/assets/GreenSpot.png")]
private var pngGreenSpot:Class;
Is there a way to get the bitmapData from that?
