Open source Shopping Cart/Site

Hi,
I have been messing around with osCommerce for over 6 months
now and its a great program. But as I am limited in my knowledge of
php, and need some kind of graphical display for when I am editing
and such like.
I was thinking to make a osCommerce type shop using
dreamweaver, I will be creating the frame and some basic functions.
I would like to know if there is already something out on the
market already?
If not Great! and if it is possible? I would gladly accept
help from anyone who is interested in this venture.
Is there anything I need to take into account when going
ahead with this project?

PCI Compliance. As a merchant (online or brick & mortar store), you must take necessary steps to ensure your customer's CC info doesn't fall into the wrong hands. One way to do this is to pass your online customers off to a 3rd party processor like PayPal or Authorize.net. These companies are experts in safely gathering sensitive data, encrypting it and transmitting it to your payment Gateway and Merchant Bank account. This way, your customers never enter any sensitive data into your site's databases which avoids a lot of headaches for the web developer and merchant.
Server Security. Use a reliable web host. I can't emphasize this enough. Cheap hosting is no bargain especially if your host doesn't take reasonable steps to secure their servers at their end.
Lock down your php scripts & form log-ins to defend your site against possible hackers & robot exploitation. If your site is ever compromised, you will need reliable backups of your Site files and MySql data. Make sure to backup these files regularly and store them in a safe place.
Backend log-in. Use strong, encrypted passwords -- 17 characters, upper & lower case with symbols. If you can remember your passwords, they're not strong enough. I keep mine written down in a Rolodex.
Change the Admin log-in name to something less obvious like GrandHighExhaltedMysticRuler or something only you will recognize as the site's admin level user. It's also a good idea to change your server, database and backend log-ins regularly.
Finally, consider running SecureLive on your web server. I have it running on a dedicated server and this software has more than paid for itself. It identifies hacker attempts, blocks the user and sends the hacker's IP address to an FBI database. SecureLive - Home

Open source shopping cart wont open with safari

Hi all...
I'm designing cart templates for a company that supplies an interface for uploading product to an open source shopping cart. The problem is I can't open the shopping carts with safari. They are fine with firefox and on a PC. (forgive me for swearing) The sites are open source carts based on php scripting with a lot of compressed data. A software interface is used to upload products etc... The error I get is
"Safari can’t open the page “not sure if I can put the link here as it is a business”. The error was: “bad server response” (NSURLErrorDomain:-1011) Please choose Report Bug to Apple..."
It's the same for all the sites using the carts.
Is there a fix at the user end or does safari simply not have support for these carts. Any help would be awesome....

After Oracle Upgrade to 11G - Not able to open shopping carts in SRM system

Dear Friends,
We have upgraded the Oracle to 11G on our SRM development
system.
Now we have an issue with opening the shopping carts from below url.

But we could able to open the shopping carts from SRM(JED) system
through SAPGUI.
When we try to open the shopping carts from the URL, it is througing

Cannot open Shopping Cart

Ever since I updated to iTunes for Windows version 7, I have not been able to open my shopping cart. When I click on the cart, I see the "Accessing iTunes Store..." and process bar animation in the LCD for a moment and then I get the following message in a popup dialog:
We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occurred (5002).
There was an error in the iTunes Store. Please try again later.
This has been going on for over a week.
I have no network issues that I am aware of (see diagnostic info), it just started after I upgraded to version 7.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program. I have switched to and back from one-click buying (one-click buying worked by the way, I hope this isn't a ploy to get us all to move to one-click, because that would suck).
Can someone fix my shopping cart or tell me what I can do to fix it?
I would also like to complain about the general bugginess of this version. I can't seem to run anything else on my PC without iTunes stuttering the music playback. This is the first time I've ever had playback performance issues - nothing else has changed on my system but the version of iTunes.

Most people get this error message when they add a song to there cart and the store changes something about the song, like its location, size, date ect ect causing songs to get "Stuck" in the cart you will have to contact the music store by email on this so they can fix it on there side. Unable to open shopping cart in IE8.

Dear all,
We are using SRM 7.0 . We are able to create shopping carts. We are able to see those shopping carts in employee self servie tab.
The problem here is when we try to open that shopping cart we are getting error on page and done in yellow at the bottom of page. but shopping cart is not opening. We have tried the same from advance search also.
Message: Invalid argument.

Open Shopping Cart from ERP Backend

Hi,
we are on SRM 7.01 and ECC 6.0 as ERP Backend.
How can i open a shopping cart with the shopping cart number?. Can i open the shopping cart per URL?
We have the shopping cart number in ERP Backend.

Hi,
erp users should be able to open the shopping cart with one click from sap gui me53n.
At the moment, they have to copy the shopping cart number and then open the SAP Portal and search for the shopping cart. This is not very userfriendly.
Can i use any remote function in srm calling from the erp?
I´m surprised that nobody else needs such as feature!

Error in system; shopping cart cannot be processed further

Hi Friends,
Currently I am implementing SRM 5.0 with R/3 Extended classic Scenario.
I have replicated the PR from R/3 to SRM and shopping car is created in Sourcing Cockpit.
While I open the shopping cart by clicking the shopping cart number in SOCO I am getting the error message u201CError in system; shopping cart cannot be processed furtheru201D. I have gone though the SDN for the same issue and I have checked with my system setups are looks fine but still I am facing this issue.

me too faced lot in SRM arena in cockpit. I enjoyed the movement when BUYEr has this issue. then it will be issue for us.

Not able to modify list of approver on when Shopping Cart is on Hold

Hi All
We are facing the following situation.
We are creating a new shopping cart and then putting it on Hold. If we open the shopping cart again ( the SC being on Hold), we are not able to add or change the app rovers in approval flow. But if we order the Shopping Cart and then open it back and try to add or change the approvers we are able to do this.
We are using BAdI BBP_CHNG_AGNT_GET to add or change approver and we are trying to debug this BADi to analyse the issue. But we are not able to catch what's happening when the SC is in Hold status. Is there any other method by which we can check in debugging what's happening in the BBP_CHNG_AGNT_GET with SC on Hold.
Any information in this regard is much appreciated.

Shopping cart screen in SRM Add-on UI is not working

Recently we had upgraded SRM Add-on UI package, when we tried to open the shopping cart screen from BSP page (i.e. link: https://sapsrxa1.flextronics.com:8012/sap/bc/bsp/srmnxp/shoppingcart/defaults.htm ), the page is throwing BSP exception as 'The object default.htm in the URL / sap / bc / bsp / srmnxp / shoppingcart / default.htm? Sap-client = 100 & sap-sessioncmd = open is not valid.' Could you please help me to fix this issue.

Step 1: Manage System Alias
Post Gateway installation, the SRM server (upon which GW is installed) needs to have system alias.
Path : SPROà SAP Implementation Guide à SAP Web Application Server à Gateway à OData Channel à Configuration à Connection Settings àSAP Netweaver Gateway to SAP System à Manage SAP System Alias
1. Create a new entry, maintain SAP SYSTEM ALIAS as LOCAL or use the SID of the SRM server as the alias name
2. Check Local GW checkbox
3. Maintain RFC Destination as NONE
4. Maintain Software Version as DEFAULT
Step 2: Maintain Gateway Services
In this step, Gateway services delivered by SRM UI Add-on are activated.
Path : SPROà SAP Implementation Guide à SAP Web Application Server à Gateway à OData Channel à Administration à General Settings à Activate and maintain Services
1. Click “Add Service” for activating gateway services
2. On the filter, set System Alias (with the name provided in the last step e.g. LOCAL) and search.
3. Pick every Service with namespace “/SRMNXP/” and click the service hyperlink.
4. In the Activation Popup, maintain the proposed technical service name and technical model name and press ok.
5. Once all services are activated they appear on the main page.

How to create a shopping cart URL to send it by email

I need to set a shopping cart URL to be sent by email. Once it is recived by the customer, he should be able to open the shopping cart by clicking on it.

Hi,
What you could do is send the login link (link for the login page) in the email.Then the user can login into SRM and see the SC's.
For more clues for sending the login link,look up for the standard code of the program "RBBP_NOTIFICATION_OFFAPP"(SRM 5.0) or "RSWUWFMLEC"(SRM 4.0).

Edit in Shopping Cart

HI Experts ,
In SRM 7.0 If i click on any workitem then the window opens with shopping cart and in that shopping cart we will have EDIT button if we click on EDIT button now we can see an POp-up which is having an option for Yes and NO . If we click on Yes then it will get into Edit Mode .Now what my requirement is I don't want that popup and directly it should be in Edit mode once if i click on Edit button .EDIT button is in FPM component that FPM_OIF_COMPONENT ...NOw what I want to know is how to do and regularly how and where we can see what the thing is happening in Edit ..

if you want to enable or disable any option or field in SRM portal find the web component of the field by right clicking on it, Then enhance the web component and in the post exit of WDModify_view add the code for enabling or disabling the field.

Shopping cart missing

Hello All,
We have got an issue with one of the shopping carts.
After sourcing, shopping cart did not flow to requestor. I have checked in SWI6, monitor shopping cart, BBP_PD and SWI1; it show as "cart with requestor". I also checked in users queue in SWI5 but it is not there.
i tried to find the cart with work item id in BBP_PD, but it was no help.
Please help in fixing it.

3. upon sourcing configuration
4. sc available for sourcing for BUYER
5. Buyer assign source of supply
6. BUYER creates a PO.
REQUESTER control till manager approves.
Hope you understand now.
BUYER COMPLETES A CART MEANS IT CAN NOT BE SOURCE AGAIN.

Shopping cart changeable after follow-on document is created

Hi,
Something strange in the production env. I'm on SRM 7.
I create a shopping cart. It gets automatically approved and creates a PO in the backend.
After this when i open the shopping cart and click on the 'Edit' button, the system opens the shopping cart in edit mode
I'm able to save new line items. New lines items are displayed with 'Approved' status
This is not the right behaviour. Strangely this does not happen in our development system
Any solution / notes ?

I think whatever role it may be but system should not allow to edit the shopping cart ITEM after creating follow on docuement.
What is the item status of shopping cart . Is it follow on document deleted? OR Error in process?
